- Job Title: iLac
Rank: D Rank
Player Requirements: Any Rank
Job Requirements: 500 words per player
Job Location: Neutral Grounds
Job Description: A brand new device called the iLac has come out and the manufacturer is giving them away to anyone who visits the factory in Neutral Ground. Keep in mind, as soon as you step foot on Neutral Ground territory, all your magic (Primary, Secondary, Weapons, Armour, Pets, Unique Abilities, Passive Effects) is instantly shut down. But that's no problem because all you're doing is picking up your brand new iLac.
Reward: 1x iLac for everyone
iLac is a lacrima that functions like our real world cell phones. It can access lacrima-net, but CANNOT grant the user access to OOC information on other players. It can grant the user the ability to contact any other player who also owns an iLac providing that other player gave the caller their Lacrima Identification Code (phone number). The iLac also has a calendar, calculator, HP and MP tracker, stopwatch, alarm, and any other fun applications (that do not permit your character to know OOC information on another character) you can think of. It also has a Sorcerer's Weekly app installed.
The moment that she had heard the word, "Free," Sarisha had made a beeline for the Ilac manufacturers factory. Sure, she doubted that it would be all that much use to her but there was no way that she was passing up the chance of getting one for nothing. Unfortunately, the effects of entering the neutral grounds had been a rather painful experience for her. Somehow, it seemed to effect the bond between herself and her Godly partner, causing her extreme pain for the first few minutes after entering the area. It was something that she would have to test at a later date but it had left her in a fouler mood than usual. There were not many thoughts that could cause fear to creep in to her mind but losing her soul mate was one of them. Her bond with Valara was of the deepest kind and to be separated from her would be like ripping her heart out.
The tour around the factory was not exactly a fun filled event either and Sarisha was soon bored of the never ending techno babble. She attempted to keep a look of interest on her face but it was a poor effort at best and the purple haired mage was more interested in a red headed girl who was also in the group. More than once did their eyes meet and by the time that the tour was over, they were walking side by side, whispering to each other constantly. Unfortunately for the others in the group, the occasional word could be heard and most of those were not what anyone would want to hear. The tour guide was certainly annoyed by the end of it and the look that she gave the pair at the end could have melted lead, much to the amusement of both Sarisha and her pretty friend.
Eventually, she finally managed to get her hands on her own Ilac, choosing a beautiful blue colour that matches the skin colour of her Godly soul mate. She could not have chosen any other colour in truth and she had fallen in love with it the moment she had seen it. Most of its functions were a complete mystery to her but she was sure that in time, she would get used to it. The first thing she did was exchange numbers with her red headed friend although she could not help but shiver a bit, as though she could feel Valara's blue eyes burning in to her as she did so. The Goddess was the jealous type after all and she was not fond of sharing. Sarisha laughed to herself at the thought. Her views on relationships had always been more open than most and that was something that had not changed, despite the recent changes in her life and her bonding with Valara.
Saying goodbye to her new friend, Evelynn, Sarisha then dashed out of the factory, wanting to get out of the area as soon as possible. There was only so long that she could stand being without her magic and it would definitely be a while before she returned to this depressing place.
