Into the Unknown (Theo and Rin's A Rank Exam! ♥)

Today was the day. She had been avoiding it for what seemed like years now. In reality, it had only been weeks, but the memories that had come back to her on that fateful day still haunted her. They just wouldn't leave her mind. No matter how much she willed them to. After having long, late night talks with Lily, Rin decided that perhaps it would be best to face it instead of hide from it. She had thought about bringing Theo, but she really didn't want him to see anything... Unsightly. Who knew what was ahead at this point in time? There was definitely some parts of her past that she didn't know about still. What if things ended badly? If she went on her own, she could save Theo from having to see any of it.

"Are you ready, dear? We're in for a long trip!" Lily cooed, nuzzling Rin's cheek lightly as she spoke. How could she ever be ready for something like this? Confronting her kidnappers? Possibly seeing the place in which she was apparently enslaved? This wasn't really something she could ever truly be ready for. "Y-Yeah... Um... I've got snacks... And um... An umbrella just in case it rains... And some candy. You know I can never leave the house without candy! Um... And a pen just in case I need to write something. You never know. And--"

"Rin!"

The sudden shout from the small, white creature jarred her out of her awkward rant. It was quite uncommon for the normally ladylike feline to raise her voice. "Ugh... I'm sorry for yelling. I just... I know that you're scared. I am too... But it's not something we can just run away from. Not anymore." The words grabbed at her heartstrings. She knew that her companion was right, but it still hurt just the same. There really was no more avoiding it, was there? "I... I know..." Rin mumbled, looking down at her feet. Now wasn't the time to be such a coward. But why was it that she couldn't help it? "I'm just worried... That's all... What if I don't like what I become after all of this? What if it... Changes me?" They were all questions that had burned at her very core. Lily's eyes shifted away, not wanting to look Rin in the face. She knew much more than she was letting on. "You never know, my dear. Things could end up being completely different from what you might have imagined. Now then! Pick your head up and let's get going! It's now or never!"

She was right. It was time. If she delayed this for any longer, she would regret it. Letting out a shaky sigh, the peach haired girl looked up towards the door, reaching out for the doorknob. As she opened the door slowly, the same words echoed within her head.

Now or never... Now or never...

The sudden appearance of Theo had almost knocked the poor girl off of her feet! She hadn’t been expecting him at all! It was pretty early that morning, so she had expected him to be sleeping. Well, so much for that plan! “O-Oh! H-H-Hi Theo! U-Umm... I’m not going anywhere important... Hahaha.” Rin was not one for being subtle. She was also a terrible liar. Lily shook her head, a quiet chuckle escaping from her chest. “You have a good eye, Theo. Rin and I are off to investigate the slaver camp where she was once held. Both of us thought it was about time she stopped running from her past.” The words caused Rin to cringe slightly. She had wanted to keep all of this a secret, and her furry friend went ahead and ratted her out!

“U-Um... Yeah... Lily is right. I’m sorry I didn’t invite you to come along. I just... I don’t want you to have to see me in a bad light... I don’t know what will happen if I go there...” Her eyes turned towards the ground once more. It was hard to look her lover in the face when she had just been caught in a lie. Especially a lie like this! She had promised him that she wouldn’t keep anymore secrets... This wasn’t an exception. “If you would like to join us... I guess you could come along. But I don’t know what you’ll see...”

Her legs had begun to shake gently as she thought about what she had remembered. The place where children fought to live. It wasn't a place that she really wanted to be visiting. But, unfortunately, it would seem like it was the only place that she would get any answers. She knew a little bit about what had happened at this camp, but she didn't know what had happened after. Had she gone to that senior camp that came after this one? Her heart hurt thinking that she might have. How many innocent children had she killed to get where she was today?

He was kind of right. She had seen him at his worst, so why was it fair for her to hide her bad side from him? The soft kiss he left on her cheek brought the corners of her lips upwards into a small smile. She couldn't keep him out of her life like this. Not even if she wanted to. "O-Okay." She mumbled quietly just before he ran off to get his things. The longer he was gone, though, the more she began to doubt herself. Was this really a good idea? What if all of this put him in danger? She would never be able to forgive herself if he had gotten hurt. "Lily... Is this really a good idea? What if... I... What if I end up hurting him somehow? I don't know... I just have this bad feeling in my stomach..."

Lily sighed. She had a similar feeling in her stomach. The idea of Rin or Theo getting hurt was one that she dreaded, but at the same time, she knew that this had to be done. Whether they all liked it or not. "Rin... I know how you're feeling. But you just have to trust in yourself and in Theo. Like you said before, you two are stronger together." Nodding slowly, Rin tried her best to take the advice in. They were stronger together. She had said that when Theo was struggling with Drathir. It was true. Now that she thought about it, it was dumb to think that she could do this by herself. Even if Lily was there, it wasn't the same. She needed Theo to get through this.

When he got back, she put on a smile for him, trying not to worry him too much. "W-Well... Lily is the one who knows where this camp is. She won't tell me how or why she knows where it is, but she said that she would take me there... So I guess we're just following her." It probably sounded a bit weird. Following a little, flying bunny cat creature to a creepy child enslavement camp. But it looked like that was the situation they were in now. "Yes. I know where it is. It's actually quite far from here, so be prepared for a long trek. The road there isn't exactly pleasant either, so keep your guard up." Looking from Lily to Theo, Rin smiled, happy that he was now here with her. She didn't care if the trip there was going to be long and possibly treacherous, as long as he was with her, everything would be okay. Stepping forward and onto to her tip toes, she placed a soft kiss on his lips. As she pulled away, a small blush formed across her cheeks. "Let's go."

The woods were even scarier than she could have imagined. The camp she could vaguely remember, but the woods were a completely new territory. It was probably because she had only remembered being in a van before they had arrived at the camp. Gulping nervously, she made her way onwards, trying to follow Theo’s lead. Now wasn’t the time to be a coward! “Uh… Well… I can remember it being very bright. It must have been in a clearing somewhere… Because I don’t remember seeing so many big trees.” Looking around, she tried to remember exactly what this facility looked like. “There were lots of buildings. It almost looked like a normal little town. Bright, cheery, beautiful. But there was something a little bit off about it. You could hear screams. Lots of them. But you had to really be listening for them.” She paused for a moment, the memory leaving an icky feeling in her stomach. “And then, at the very end of the main road that went through the town, there was a huge colosseum looking structure. So big, that if we venture far enough into this forest, we should be able to see it. But nobody usually comes this far. Hence why it hadn’t been found out.”

Just thinking about going back to this place put a frown on her normally cheerful face. This really wasn’t something that she was looking forward to. What if the people who had enslaved her were there? What if they tried to take her again. Freezing in her tracks, she bent down for a moment, beginning to feel a bit light headed. “Hey! Rin! What’s going on?” Lily called out, worry laced within her words. “I-I’m sorry… I… I don’t know if I can do this…” Her voice was shaky as she spoke, conveying the obvious fear that had suddenly struck her. Floating downwards and landing on the ground in front of her, Lily gave the frightened young girl a sympathetic smile. “You’ve come this far. Now is not the time to give up.”

Being close to Theo always seemed to put a smile on the young girl’s face. His words were really reassuring as well. Maybe he was right. It was better to just go ahead and face it than to keep it cooped up inside. “Th-Thank you… I-I… Um… I’m sorry for overreacting like that… I’m just nervous, I guess.” She mumbled awkwardly as her lover dug around in his bag. The idea of looking at the camp from afar was actually a really good one. It would be best to do that first before they just burst in. Rin knew from experience that there would most likely be a bunch of children who were well versed in combat, and she was not in the mood to fight back. She wouldn’t be able to handle it if she had to hurt even more innocent children.

Just as fast as she had fallen into a depressed mindset, she had been dragged out of it by the sweet, sweet smell of candy. Would that help?! What kind of question was that?! Of course it would! Grabbing the bag with haste, she shoved as many of the little candies in her mouth as she could. They were delicious! A derpy looking smile spread across her face as she nommed on them, her cheeks puffed up like a happy little chipmunk.“Mmmm~! Thank youuu~!” She managed to say with her mouth full. Normally she wouldn’t do something so unladylike, as Lily would call it, but the candy was just too good! It would be rude not to thank Theo for it! After she had finished her own candies, she took one from the bag and brought it up to her boyfriend’s lips, urging him to take it. “You should try one before we go any further! It’s so yummyyy!”

A rose tint swarmed against the young girl’s cheeks as her lover pulled himself away from her. A giant smile creeped its way onto her face. The candy had made her feel better, but the kiss from Theo sent her over the moon! She knew that she could do this now that he was here. Even if something did go wrong, Theo would still be there for her, just like she was there for him. That thought was really reassuring.scrambling to get to her feet, she nodded, agreeing with Theo’s statement. It was probably best that they got moving. It would be even more spooky if they had to navigate this forest in the pitch black darkness! "Y-Yeah! I feel much better! Let's go!"

It didn't even seem like they had been walking for that long, when Rin began to hear a familiar noise. I didn't sound like it was the town. No. It sounded like the noise was coming from behind them. Turning around quickly, she spotted lights.... Not just any lights... They looked to be headlights. "H-Hey! Get back!" She whispered to the jello man, pulling him aside and hiding both of them behind a tree. It was a van. The van that she had seen in her memories. It looked like it was headed for the camp! There had to be a child in there!

"I-I have to do something!" Standing up abruptly after the van had passed, Rin broke out into a full on sprint, chasing after it as if her life depended on it. "Rin! Wait! You can't just run off! It's dangerous!" Lily called after her, but to no avail. The peach haired mage had her mind set on saving the captive child she assumed was trapped in that horrible vehicle. She wasn't about to let them go through the same thing she had!

She could feel her legs becoming weak and her chest beginning to burn as she kept running. It was uncomfortable, sure, but she couldn't seem to get herself to stop. There was a flaming passion welling up within her heart, and there was no way to put it out. That is, until she heard the desperate pleading from her significant other. It was like an alarm went off in her head. What had she been doing? If she just ran into that camp, they were going to be captured, or worse, killed! This was not the time to be emotional. There might as well have been skidding noises as she came to a swift stop. It all seemed to hit her at once. Deep, ragged breaths rattled through her chest as she attempted to catch her breaht.

"I... I can't... Let this happen to them... Not again..." She whimpered between breaths, bending forward to place her hands on her knees. She really needed to get more exercise! "Rin! What were you thinking! You could have put all of us in danger!" Lily barked, finally catching up with the two of them after their little run. Eyes moving downwards in shame, Rin frowned. Her bunny cat friend was right. She was lucky that the people in that van hadn't noticed her. But then again, at least they had made it to where the camp was. "I'm sorry guys... I don't really know what came over me." Lily's eyes softened as she looked at her. It was kind of hard to stay mad at Rin! Especially when she was upset like this! "It's okay... But please be careful from now on. We're very close to the camp, so keep your guard up. Both of you."

After she had recovered from her sprint, Rin decided that now would probably be a good time to take a look at what was going on. Sneaking forward and hiding behind a conveniently placed bush, she spied on the van that had now pulled up to the entrance of the camp. Just as she had thought. A child, bound and gagged, stepped out of the van, being ushered on by two familiar looking men. "Them..." She mumbled, eyes filling with fear. Those were the men who had brought her there... How long had it been? How is it that both of them were still doing the same, horrible things? "I can't just let them get away with this... Wh-What do we do?"

Taking the binoculars with haste, she brought them up to her eyes, scanning the area to see if there was anything of interest happening. Aside from the child being unloaded from the van, there really wasn’t anything going on. Though, when she listened carefully, she could make out that very quiet, very distinct sound of screaming. It made her stomach turn. There were children being abuse and tortured in there. Why was it that she had to just sit here and do nothing? Sure, Theo was right, it would be dumb of them to just burst in with guns blazing, but was it really okay to just do nothing? “I understand.” She mumbled in response to her lover. They shouldn’t risk their lives. Not until they had a decent chance at helping.

Just as she had been about to hand the binoculars back to Theo, she noticed something. There was a man walking towards the van. He was tall and lanky, brown locks blowing gently in the light breeze. It looked like he was an authoritative figure, because as soon as he approached, the two men she had met long ago tensed up, saluting to the man respectfully. Why did all of this seem familiar? Trying to get a better look at his face, her rose tinted eyes squinted.

And then it all began.

“A-Ah!” The cry erupted from her throat suddenly. What was going on?! He head was pounding! It felt like someone was beating on her forehead with a hammer! The binoculars she had been holding fell from her grip as her hands instinctively made their way up to grip her head. There were so many flashes. Pictures. Scenes. They bombarded her mind all at once. Tears had begun to stream from her eyes as her memories rushed back. It was horrible. Disgusting. Angering. She could feel a heat burning within her chest. There had to be revenge. Revenge. Anger.

Kill.

A blood curdling scream. That was the only way the noise that left the girl could be described. A bright flash of light engulfed her soon afterwards. Something was happening. Things were changing. It hurt. Lily’s eyes widened as she witnessed this, a small gasp leaving her throat. “No no no... This can’t be happening. Not now! This wasn’t supposed to happen now!” She whimpered frantically, approaching Rin quickly in an attempt to keep her quiet.

But that never happened.

A swift hand quickly darted outwards, hitting the bunny cat and flinging her away and into a nearby tree. The feline creature was out cold. Dull, rosy pink eyes opened slowly. The pupils that had once been there were gone now, along with the kind expression they used to give. That kindness was long gone. Blood dripped progressively from her pale cheeks, escaping from the long gashes that had been left by sharp nails. Standing up slowly, Rin blinked a few times, seemingly emotionless. Her breasts had grown bigger, she had become taller, standing now at an average 5’5, and her body was perfect. A beautiful specimen indeed. Her clothes had torn, revealing a distasteful amount of skin. But she didn’t care. Not in the slightest.

Ignoring her pet and her significant other, she walked forward. Slowly. Mechanically. With purpose. “Requip” she mumbled in a voice that was much deeper than normal. More... Seductive. The gun appeared in a flash of light, as it always did, and dropped in to her hand, ready to complete her bidding. The two grunts and their boss turned to look at the approaching girl. Panic smeared itself across the subordinate men’s faces. It was clear that they were not happy to see her.

“Shit! It’s Zulu! Get Dr. Hinami out of here! Now!” The bulkier man said, pushing the bearded, lanky man. He nodded frantically, grabbing the older man by the arm. He did not seem to be phased, though. He actually seemed... Amused. This Dr. Hinami was smirking. And as he should. Once the two men had escaped, Rin lifted her weapon, pointing it towards the only man left. He smiled in almost a cocky manner. He had created this monstrosity, after all. “Well hello there, Zulu. I didn’t think we would see you back here. Miss us?” The dull pink eyes blinked slowly, but her grip on the gun did not waver. “Hello, Captain Oswald. It has been a long time. But I am afraid that it is now time for you to die.”

Emotionless eyes moved slowly to meet the icy blue ones of her lover. Her grip on her weapon, however, did not waver at all. She had one goal, and one goal only. This puny excuse for a man, Captain Oswald, was just in her way. "I am Zulu 379. My sole purpose is to kill Dr. Hinami. There is nothing more to discuss." The words left her mouth, but it sounded nothing like the normal Rin. His former question had an answer, though. This was Rin. Just a version of herself that she preferred to hide from the rest of the world. "Now if you will excuse me. I must deal with this man here. Thank you for understanding."

Turning back to Captain Oswald, she moved closer, pressing her body as close as she possibly could to his, and placing the gun just below his chin. "It would be a real shame if I had to blow your brains out in front of an audience, now wouldn't it?" She purred, roughing jabbing the gun upwards."I mean, there's children here. Is that really something they should be seeing? Oh wait... They already see those things every day, don't they?" Captain Oswald gulped, obviously trying to mask his fear. Not only had he created a perfect weapon, but he had created a monster. And he knew it. "You wouldn't do that to me, now would you? I raised you. I'm practically like your father." A small laugh erupted from the young woman's throat. It was really quite funny. But it wouldn't be for much longer. Jerking forward, she spit in his face before kicking him to the ground. She took this opportunity to pounce, sitting on top of him and placing the gun directly on his forehead.

"If you hadn't taken all of my emotions from me, I would have found that quite hilarious, I am sure!" A deranged smirk spread it's way across her face as she stared at the helpless man below her. "Now then. Would you like to give me a little hint as to where Dr. Hinami is? You know very well that that would make me veerryyy happy." His jaw tensed as she asked the question. It was quite a hard decision at this point. Be killed by the very thing that he had created, or betray his company. "You know, it really doesn't have to be this hard. I can just shoot you now, if you would prefer that. Or I could just have a bit of fun with you. I can still remember everything you taught me. About how to slice the skin juuuust right." She leaned forward, bringing her lips close to his own, and placing a hand gently on his cheek. "I can just hear your pathetic screams now. Like music to my ears."

"I'm so proud of you, Zulu. You're exactly how we trained you to be. A monster. A disgusting little whore with no other purpose but to kill."

Oh... That did it. A fire had ignited within her eyes now. It would have been satisfying to kill the useless man, but where was the fun in that? Raising the hand with the weapon, she brought it down quickly, hitting him with full force to the head. It knocked him out cold. A frown formed on the girl's face now. "Oh, boo... He passed out... I was just getting started... Oh well... I guess I'll just have to come back another time. I'll have to come without Theo and Lily, then. Too distracting." Standing up slowly, the scantily clad girl stretched, not having a care in the world. Her eyes slowly moved to to observe the jello mage once more. Now that her victim had been a little baby and passed out, she had gotten a chance to fully drink in what he looked like. He was interesting, that was for sure.

"Hmm... It seems that I was a bit naive. I let such a fine body go to waste for so long." She purred seductively, approaching Theo in a sultry manor. As she approached, she wrapped her arms around his neck, draping her body softly against his. "What do you say we have a quickie here in the bushes? Now wouldn't that be exciting?"

Just as she was about to bring her lips up to his, an alarm began to go off. Great, they were going to send their little child warriors after them. They had a specific alarm just for her, too. The thought of it always made her smile. It was entertaining to say the least. "Aww man. They just had to go and ruin the fun, now didn't they? I'll have to take a rain check on that for now." She grumbled, releasing Theo from her grip and walking past him, back into the woods from whence they came. "Oh, also, while you're at it, could you grab the little white rat that I hit earlier? She was getting in my way, so I had no choice. She should be fine though. I didn't even hit her that hard." She asked, gesturing towards Lily, who still seemed to be passed out next to the tree she was thrown into.  

The feeble call of her name caused her head to turn slightly. "Hmmm? Oh! You wanted to go back home now? You really are eager, aren't you? I know that I am quite attractive in this body, but you have to be patient~" She cooed, giving him a small wink before turning around once more. "I would greatly love to go home, but unfortunately, my close seem to be a bit... Well... Non-existent. It would be terribly rude to just barge in naked, now wouldn't it?!" She stopped for a moment, looking at the little pieces of fabric that had managed to cling to her body. "Perhaps I should just take it off? It's not doing any good anyways." She suggested, tugging at the rags with distaste. Her lack of emotion made it a bit difficult to keep her modest. Especially when they were on the run from these evil children abusers. "Oh well... Probably best not to dwell on it, right?" Shrugging, she continued onward, quietly humming to the sound of the alarm that came from the camp behind them.

"I also don't think I would be very welcome on the Crystalli at this current point in time. You see, I don't have the best reputation, and unfortunately, I don't really know how to control this right now. Normally I am very good at switching back and forth, but it's been a while. I am a bit rusty." It was frustrating, actually. The anger always fueled her into changing into this form, but that also meant that it was a bit out of her control. "Lily will know what to do. She always does. I really hated to have to knock the poor thing out, but I know she would have gotten in my way if I hadn't. She tends to do that." She explained as she walked. Just walking through these woods was annoying, though. If only there was some way that they could get out of this sticky situation.

"I am truly sorry for creating such a mess. You see, as I told you before, my only purpose is to kill Dr. Hinami. He is the owner and founder of the Killing Campgrounds and the Murder Mission. I attended both of these training facilities." Her voice was monotone as she spoke about her own mission. "I want to destroy both of these organizations. I believe that the only way that can be accomplished is if I strike at the roots. If they have no leader, what would they do then?" The thought of killing that awful man sent a chill up her spine. "Unfortunately, after all of their torture and excessive brainwashing, the only emotion I can feel is anger. I just want my revenge. That is all I need." Stopping once more, she fully turned to look at her significant other. "In an attempt to shelter myself from all of this, I created a separate form with all of the information that I had learned. That way, my original personality stays intact. But an unfortunate side effect of this, is that I don't always remember everything that happens when in this form. Some of it gets transferred, some of it doesn't. It is quite random, actually."

Taking her bottom lip between her teeth, the pink haired girl approached her lover once more, pressing her body closely against his. "I do truly hope that I remember how sexy you are, though. If I could get a piece of you right now, I would." She whispered seductively, dull pink eyes brimming with interest. "The good news is, the children are most likely afraid of the forest. It's a flaw in their little system. When I was enslaved there, rumors flew around that this place was haunted, so none of us would even look at it. Good thing that was just a silly little myth~" Snapping out of her dazed hunger, she stepped away. It was really strange how attracted she was to this man. Normally she could care less about men, but this one seemed special. It was hard when some memories didn't transfer all the way. In an attempt to distract herself, she took Lily from his arms. "I should probably try to wake her up. If you have any questions while I'm at it, feel free to ask. I do not keep any secrets. It's a nasty habit, don't you think?"

Poking at the bunny cat creature, Rin's face was scrunched up into an expression of frustration. This damn feline was a heavy sleeper. Oh well. It wasn't an issue that needed to be solved immediately. Even though she would prefer not to be in this form for too long. It was a sure-fire way to end up saying or doing something stupid.

"I do not think that it would be a good idea for you to come along. Things will most likely get messy. I have no problem with killing anyone or anything that gets in my way. Seeing me in that way would taint your image of me, would it not?" It was a bit concerning to say the least. she could not particularly place why that mattered to her, but it definitely did. If he saw her as the monster that she was, it could cause him to leave. She didn't know if she could stand to lose another one. Not after the last time. "If you insist on tagging along, I won't stop you. But I will warn you now, that things will be gory. If needed, I will kill everyone in that camp without batting an eye. The children included."

Just as she had been about to give up on waking Lily, the creature's crimson red eyes appeared from beneath their lids. It was a slow progression, but finally she had regained consciousness. "Hello, Lily. It has been a while since you have seen me like this, hasn't it?" Rin greeted her pet calmly. Lily, though, was not nearly as calm. Not in the slightest. "Rin Mayou! If I didn't love you to pieces I would kill you!" She cried out angrily, hackles raising instinctively. Rin blinked a few times in response, not really understanding what her feline companion was trying to convey. "You could not kill me, Lily. I would kill you first." It was an unfortunate side effect. She took things much too seriously. "Rin. I didn't mean it literally. God. Can we get you out of this nasty form? You're not the least bit pleasant" She hissed, shaking her small head in shame.

"That was actually why I was trying to wake you up. I cannot seem to remember how to change back. It has been a while, after all. Do you happen to know?" Rin asked, head tilting to the left slightly. The snowy white creature's face scrunched up as she thought hard about what it could have been. "It has been a while, hasn't it? The last mission you went on before your memories were wiped was probably close to 2 years ago. Wow, this is a pain in this ass. You remembered everything else! Why didn't this memory come back?!" She grumbled angrily. The pink haired female shrugged, not sure how else to respond.

But then it hit Lily like a ton of bricks!

"Oh! Yes! I remember it now! Come here dear, I will whisper it in your ear." Floating upwards to reach Rin's ear, she informed her about the transformation method. "Ah, yes. That does seem like it would be correct. How unfortunate." A frown formed on her face as she looked to Theo. It was best that she switched back. She didn't know how much more this guy could handle! "I will attempt to switch now. Like I had mentioned before, I may not remember everything that has happened. I also will most likely be a bit groggy. This transformation depletes my magic energy greatly." She explained to Theo mundanely. Closing her eyes, she began to think of something from her past. Something she preferred to keep hidden. "See you on the flip side" She managed to mumble before the bright light engulfed her once more.

The smol had returned! Her body had gone back to normal, and her eyes had that friendly quality to them once more. “Owwwie...” She grumbled, placing her hands on her cheeks that had been torn to shreds. Why was it that whenever she switched back, she always had some sort of nasty injury?! Warm pink eyes moved upwards, training themselves on the nervous looking man before them. Her expression quickly changed from one of pain to one of joy. He was okay! “Theooooo~!” She cried out, flinging herself forwards to catch him in a tight embrace. “I-I’m so sorry if I said anything bad! It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to control that form!” She blubbered frantically. “I-I really hope that you’re not mad at me!” It was worrying to say the least. Imagine going into some sort of rage stage, saying a bunch of embarrassing and possibly hurtful things to your significant other, and then coming back and not known if exactly what you had and hadn’t said. That is how the Rin do.

Pulling backwards to look into his glacier like eyes, she gave him a sheepish smile. “This is why I wasn’t sure that you should have come with me! You probably saw me acting like a fool!” She could remember some of the things that she had done, like attacking Captain Oswald and waking up Lily, but everything else was a bit of a blur. “I-I’m sure that you have a lot of questions. I can explain more once we get back to the Crystalli. I don’t want to linger around here. If the children won’t come after me, all the adults who live there will.” She stepped up on her tippy toes, leaving a small kiss on his cheek before stepping away. Just as she had been about to teleport back to the Crystalli, Lily shouted out to her. “RIN WAIT! Um... You should probably wait a second.” The bunny cat hovered up to her ear, whispering two words quietly to her. As soon as she had finished, Rin looked down frantically, her face becoming tomato red. “A-AH! D-D-Don’t look!” She squealed, trying her best to cover herself up with her arms. If she had been embarrassed before, she was 20x more embarrassed now!

She froze for a moment, not really knowing how to respond to the sudden question. Where had he even gotten that from?! Perhaps she had said something to that effect while she was in her other form. That would make a lot of sense. When it finally registered in her brain what he had said, she began to giggle quietly. What had been a giggle quickly turned into a fit of laughter, though. It wasn't funny because what he had said was dumb. No, it was more that it came out of nowhere! Out of all of the questions he could have asked, that was the first one he thought of! "I... I'm sorry! That was just so random!" She managed to blurt between laughs. After a little while, she had managed to calm herself down, but a dazzling smile was left behind. Though Rin was back to what she normally looked like, she still held all of the memories from her deranged past. That meant that she knew more about life in general, but still kept her cheery, awkward personality. However, she wasn't as... Well... Innocent, anymore.

Standing on her tippy toes and wrapping her arms around his neck in an effort to pull herself upwards, she whispered in his ear. "Why don't you take me home, and you'll find out~?" It almost seemed a bit strange coming from her. Luckily Lily hadn't heard her, or she would have earned a swift slap to the face. Releasing him from her grip once more, she shot him a quick wink before turning around. "This jacket is so comfyyy! Now I know why you wear it all the time!" She gushed, trying to change the subject so that Lily wouldn't catch on to what they were talking about. "Now that I'm covered up, we should be good to go back now! We don't want those people to catch up to us! They're really mean!"
