Description: Magic Circle is a magical form of self-expression; the user releases the immense amount of magic stored within them in rivulets or in great floods to create magic symbols that can affect the physical world. Most users of Magic Circle have enormous internal stores of magic, as the circles themselves require constant flows of magic in order to retain form and influence.
Ishtar uses Magic Circles as a weapon or shield themselves: he throws the symbols as shurikens, manifests them as shields, or channels magic power through them to affect a certain function of physics to his advantage.

Kohl's Plague
Description: Kohl Kensai was the name of a widely known and successful sorcerer that would perform rituals on people which would give them a random power, according to how pure their soul was. At some point, it was rumored that an individual gained immortality, gaining the attention of an evil duke from a faraway land. The duke traveled to Kohl and demanded that Kohl to perform the immortality ritual on him. Kohl tried to explain how the ritual works but the duke did not listen. Kohl gave in when the duke summoned his knights on him and cast the ritual, however, because of the duke's heart being tainted with evil, he received a curse instead of a power. The terrible curse gave the evil duke permanent hallucinations, such as monsters and fake pain, and anyone who would look into his eyes would be forever tortured by the inescapable curse. Henceforth whenever one would show to possess a similar curse, he would be referred to as a carrier of Kohl's Plague.
Ability: When Kohl's Plague is activated the user will gain a very light purple aura around his/her eyes. During this time the user summons a illusionary monster to attack those around them. The monster does not cause actual body harm but will damage the people it attacks mentally. It can attack through barriers and move through things like a ghost and has 50% of the user’s HP for its own. The only problem is that the user cannot fully control their powers, so the monsters may rebel during certain periods.
1 user-ranked illusion appears dealing user-ranked(max S-rank) melee damage with their attacks.
If there is no enemy for the monster to attack or they cannot reach the enemy, they turn to attack the user instead.
Usage: The eye ability itself lasts for 4 posts or until the illusionary monster is defeated with an 8 post cooldown after use. The illusionary monster will attack the user if there are no enemies conscious or alive within 20 meters of them at any time and the user cannot call off the monster once summoned.
Strengths:
- Versatile: The Magic Circles have a nearly infinite number of uses; the only limit is the imagination and power of the user. Specifically, Ishtar’s Magic Circle is used as long range weapons, or strong shields to block either close combat or ranged abilities.
- Strong Defense: While the magic has a wide variety of uses, the defense spells of the Magic Circle are top-notch. They can vary from giant immovable shields to handheld, attached shields for more flexible movement.
Weaknesses:
- Immobile Spells: While the defense spells of Magic Circle are strong, many of them are immovable; a person cannot walk through them, and they are not mobile. When they are cast, they stay in that position and spot until they are dispersed or run out of magic to remain corporeal.
- Low Damage: The Magic Circle is powerful, but the magic itself does not have many high damage spells. Most are quick and easy-to-cast, designed to not take out an enemy with one blow, but to barrage them until their defenses are down.
- Unique Abilities:
- Magic Conduit: The use of the Magic Circle requires a large amount of magic on the user’s part. Instead of the normal mp regeneration, Ishtar regenerates 5% of his max mp every post.
- Disruption: The natural flow of magic circles disrupts that of creatures that have been artificially created or summoned. Ishtar’s spells deal 20% more damage to summoned creatures.
- Eldritch Outburst: When Ishtar takes damage that pierces the skin, it aggravates the magical conduits that run through his body, releasing violent magical energies and damaging those around him. Once per post, when Ishtar takes damage from a sharp or piercing weapon or spell, magic lightning crackles out from the wound at 120 meters per second and hits objects and creatures within 30 meters of him, dealing 20 hp of damage.
- Enhanced Blows: When Ishtar hits a creature, a magic circle briefly flashes into existence to lend his blows more power. When Ishtar hits a creature with a weapon attack or with his fists, he deals 20% more damage.

Description: Ishtar overlaps his hands in front of his face, palms facing outward, then quickly spreads them apart, forming a magic circle 3 meters in diameter in front of him. He then pushes it out in a direction. Any creature who gets hit takes damage and is pushed back with the magic circle until it dissipates.
Strengths:- Forces melee-based opponents away from the user, granting him a reprieve to set up a defensive spell or to get off some ranged spells.
Weaknesses:- Can only be pushed in one direction; if the user is surrounded, this will only clear out a small portion of the enemies.

The spell has 120 hp with which it can block spells that originate in the direction it is facing. It disappears before its duration runs out if its hp runs out first.
Strengths:- Provides a strong defensive position to the user, allowing them to set up with another spell.
Weaknesses:- The shield is immobile, thus it is easy for melee opponents to walk around. Also, as a result, Ishtar cannot move if he wishes to retain his shield.

Strengths:- Provides a mobile shield for the user so that they may defend themselves while positioning themselves in a more advantageous place.
Weaknesses:- The shields are unwieldy and make wielding weapons a difficult task at best, impossible at worst, so the user is limited in the amount of responses they can have to various attacks.

Description: This spell can be cast one of two ways. Ishtar throws one hand out at a single target and creates a magic circle 3 meters in diameter beneath them, dealing damage to them and launching them 20 meters in the air. Alternatively, Ishtar can kneel on one knee and create the magic circle under himself, launching himself instead 20 meters into the air without the damage.
Strengths:- Puts either an opponent in a position where they can’t easily dodge another attack by Ishtar, or puts Ishtar himself in a position where the opponent cannot defend themselves as easily.
Weaknesses:- Landing is tricky, and Ishtar won’t always be able to stick it after launching himself.

Description: Ishtar stretches his arms out wide and summons many small magic circles, each the width of a finger, then sweeps his arms forward, sending the magic circles to hit up to three targets within range. If the spell is targeting three individuals, it deals normal damage. If it is targeting two individuals, one of the targets takes double damage (30 hp) and the other takes normal damage. If the spell is targeting one individual, he takes 45 hp of damage (spell damage x3).
Strengths:- Can be used to target multiple people or fewer, making it a potent weapon in a situation that is one versus one or one versus three.

Strengths:- The enormous speed boost makes Ishtar more maneuverable and makes it easier for him to put himself in a place of greater advantage.
Weaknesses:- His blows count for much less damage while the spell is active.

Description: Ishtar crosses his index finger over the middle finger of the same hand, creating a magic circle 4 meters in diameter within range that only he can see. He can either create the circle underneath a target within range or in an empty spot within range. Whenever a creature steps in the circle, they trigger the magic, releasing a blast of wind that damages them and any other creature in the area. If Ishtar casts the circle underneath a target, it automatically triggers.
Strengths:- It functions as both defense and offense, serving both purposes as needed.
Weaknesses:- As Ishtar is the only one who can see the circle, there is every possibility that his allies may step inside of the circle and trigger it, damaging them instead of the enemy.
- Wizards with particularly strong magical senses could potentially sense the trap, making them aware of it and losing the advantage of surprise.

Description: Ishtar clenches his fist and summons an oblong magic circle attached to the knuckles of that fist. The magic circle is 2 meters from top to bottom. The shield has 270 hp with which it can absorb damage from incoming spells. It lasts for the duration or until its hp is depleted, after which it disappears.
Strengths:- It is a powerful shield, able to block quite a few spells.
- As it is attached to his fist, Ishtar can still move around with his defense, so he will not be stuck in one place in order to keep his shield.
Weaknesses:- It is large and clunky, making it hard for Ishtar to dish out attacks while the shield is active.
- While he can still move, the shield heavily restricts his movement and his dodging capabilities should an attack make it around the shield.
- It is a powerful shield, able to block quite a few spells.
