He refuses to accept gifts of other that he estimates he didn't earn. He tends to be very self-sacrificing, often willing to let his body and emotions take devastating blows for the sake of others; this trait is something that has angered several of his comrades and friends though this is of no concern to Amagiri; a man who's life revolves around that of his companions. Through time, Amagiri's personality can sometimes exhibit a shift whereby he reveals a "dark-side" that many don't believe he has. While never too severe, this so-called dark-side can frequently shock and scare those he surrounds himself with due to the dramatic transition of his aforementioned personality. While in this state, he develops a ruthless attitude, often talking down to those he confronts with an epitomised level of aggression and sarcasm. It's often said that only his comrades can coax him out of this state by reminding him of what he stands for. Some believe this dark-side of his to be the fault of a demon that resides within him. Although this assertion is completely misplaced due to no factual evidence supporting the fact; the idea remains that these bizarre exhibits of schizophrenic behavior aren't normal under any circumstance. Within Amagiri's mind, this so-called "demon" believes him to be too idealistic for his own good and doesn't hesitate to tell him this, saying a Wizard is simply a destroyer and that they'll never be anyone's savior, though Amagiri claims that they can be both, pushing him to be, as he once put it, "a destroyer that saves". This internal conflict can often draw out moments of absent-mindedness within Amagiri's own reality--sometimes making him come off as clumsy or aloof. Likes: → Comrades; A very simple idea that Amagiri holds in the highest of regards. Amagiri strives to make comrades each and every day, putting himself out there to protect both the weak and the strong in order to acquire those he holds dear. His end-game, the idea of unity across the entirety of Earthland can only be achieved through everyone banding together. That's where his enjoyment lies, uniting everyone so peace can reign true. → Sweets; Albeit embarrassed by the fact due to his age and expected maturity, Amagiri's adoration for sweet things is without equal. Though attempting to hide it under any and all circumstances; when presented with an opportunity to pounce upon a delicious concoction of sugar; he'll seize it in an instant. One could describe it as a guilty pleasure. → Teamwork; Albeit similar to his adoration for comrades, you could take this like into a slightly different perspective. Amagiri enjoys the idea of teamwork because it promotes his ultimate motivation; unity. People banding together to achieve a goal, the idea excites him to no end though his polite, kind and a little shy attitude conceals his ecstasy when embarking upon a job for his guild. He'll always strive to try and complete a job with others, working alongside them rather than acting on his own. Dislikes: → Destiny; Though not a strong distaste in itself, Amagiri believes the belief of something predetermined without subject to change is wrong in it's entirety. Though not partial to change a destiny if it happened to be good, Amagiri believes people telling him what will and will not be is inherently wrong. In his eyes, anyone can change something provided they have the means to do so. Nothing is ever set-in-stone. → Mac & Cheese; Thick, gooey, yellow, cheesy. A saturated amalgamation of yellow poop. Amagiri will do his best to avoid this meal at all costs; much more partial to the blissful comfort of something sweet. → Yoga; A Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practised for health and relaxation. In short, a waste of time. While not overly important in the grand spectrum of dislikes Amagiri has, yoga has never appealed to him in the slightest and he believes that health and relaxation should be acquired through other means. Motivations: → Unity; To further explain, Amagiri's ultimate ambition is to unite the world in it's ideals to achieve a eternal peace. A world full of comrades rather than enemies. An idealistic utopia whereby everyone can cooperate without the threat of conflict, war, strife, grief and pain looming over their heads. Amagiri theorizes a world without war is a world without weakness. The only way he is to achieve that is to unite everyone together; interlink everyone so that no one person is without comrade for the very world they inhabit is comprised of them. → Self-actualization; A common motivation for many. A position where people finally turn their eyes toward achieving their fullest potential, working to bring their biggest dreams to life. While unity may be his biggest dream of life, this motive is the simplest path to achieve it. To realize who he himself is in order to understand others. Amagiri believes a world where people don't understand who they themselves are will never be able to understand others entirely. Without understanding, unity can never be achieved. → Exploration; Amagiri's secondary ambition. Moreso out of enjoyment than fulfillment. Whilst his wish to unite the world will forever be embedded within his mind, the need to explore and understand is of the utmost importance. There would be no point in bringing together culture without first realizing why. What could be compromised, what could societies not live without; these are all questions of importance--questions which cannot be answered without knowledge of civilizations and it's respective people. Fears: → Dystopia; A world fallen to totalitarian rule. A world without unity; centralized around dictatorial leadership. Subservience through fear and power rather than generosity and teamwork. A world where only the strong prevail. Whilst confident in his ability to achieve his goals, this fear still remains prevalent in the back of his mind. The thought that he could fail--allowing for the world to continue on it's current path--this fate remains inevitable should Amagiri not act. → Hats; A tool of mysteriousness. A item of clothing that renders someones identity anonymous. These items confuse him greatly and like many say, "man's greatest fear is the unknown" hence its debut amongst this list. → Bats; Who isn't scared of these hellspawn? Leathery creatures of death. Cloaked in shadow, predatory senses rivaling even the greatest of sensory mages. If Amagiri were to come face-to-face with a bat, he'd be sure to turn in the opposite direction as fast as he possibly could. → Cats; An unexplainable fear. Amagiri isn't sure why he's afraid of cats. Could be to do with their prioritized attitude, sharp claws, beady yet demanding eyes or all of the above.
