As soon as he stepped foot in Neutral Ground, the creature felt the sense of being drained a bit washed over him forcing him to be lazy enough to pop out of the wolf form he held and actually shift to his natural state. With pinkish hair flopping over his eyes and cat like ears and a tail appearing, Lazarus would scratch his head a bit taking note that one of the symbols on him had a faded hue to them. Huh. Did that mean he had no power anymore? He would attempt to summon a fireball...and find the symbol didn't move. Hmm. Well that was odd, but then again perhaps a breath a fresh air. At least the voices in his head seemed to shut up so that was a plus in the matter, so he guess he shouldn’t complain.
In any case, his curiosity would shift from the mystery of no magic to the area around him as he passed by various buildings, homes, and shops until his attention was drawn to a group of people that possessed something quite strange- a device that looked like some sort of phone that did not require cords or batteries it seemed. It was very strange and so out of curiosity the young man would drift over to the chatty group and after introducing himself to break the ice, he would ask where the group they had received their phones. With hums and a bit of back and forth chattering he eventually got that the phone came from a factory that was a bit further into town.
Thanking the group, the creature would walk further into town following some signs until it finally arrived at the place that was mentioned. Looking over the strange place, the creature’s eyes would eventually fall on the crowd that surrounded the place, all apparently talking excitedly about this new phone that the factory had.
Not exactly finding a line to stand in the creature had to weave its way through the chatty crowd just to enter the building and then he had to wiggle some more just to get before one the phones that were on display. Looking down at the device, he would reach out and pick it up only for another to slid down in its place. A bit confused, he would push his way through the crowds to the counter where he would proceed to ask the woman that was there about the phone. He wanted to know how to purchase one, but the lady replied that the phone was already his before offering him accessories to go along with the phone that were also free.
Not one to make things fancy, the cat would choose a turquoise case for the other wise white phone and slip it onto the device looking back at the woman at the desk. He would ask her about a charger, but the woman said there was no need for one as the material within the phone would keep itself charged. Impressed, Lazarus would thank the lady for her time before maneuvering his way out of the crowd and back on the streets. Once free of all the noise, he would pull the phone from his pocket and click it on, so he could begin exploring this new toy he had.
