•MAGIC•
Primary Magic: Crash Magic
Secondary Magic: N/A
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description:
Crash magic is a highly advanced caster-type magic which gives the user the ability to crush/destroy things through physical contact. If done on an object, the object is reduced to small rubble by transferring magic power from the user's body into every particle until it has enough force and pressure to cause it to explode. The larger the object, the more magic power needed to destroy it. It is so destructive that even the slightest touch can lead to huge results. That's why this is considered a highly advanced magic because it requires proper concentration to be effective and control in order to avoid accidentally destroying objects, something even the strongest users of this magic somewhat fails at. (Take Gildarts for example.)
If this magic is used on living things, it is impossible to crush them. Instead, this magic creates enough force to cause damage and push the opponent away. This is done by firing concentrated magic after physical contact. At D rank, a technique like this will cause some light bruises, but at S rank, it can break bones or even crush them through magical pressure. Crash magic also works on spells. It can be used as a deflective barrier with enough power to reduce the power or even negate a spell.
Strengths:
• This magic is very destructive. If used properly, it can be used to cause a lot of damage not just to the opponent, but to the things around the user.
• It can be used to 'crash' spells, reducing or negating their effect, which gives it a lot of anti-magic capabilities.
• This magic is a melee-type since it needs contact to be effective, giving the user an edge when it comes to hand-to-hand combat.
• The user can also enhance their combat prowess by adding some 'crash' power on their strikes, increasing the damage done by their normal attacks.
• Because of its the magic's incredible nature, it can develop into a very deadly asset in the user's arsenal.
Weaknesses:
• Despite being quite a straightforward magic, it requires a lot of training and concentration. Many people find it hard to master because of it's destructive nature.
• Mastering this magic is like taming a wild animal because you are actually trying to control the destructive nature of this magic.
• If the user is unfocused, they might accidentally destroy things unwillingly, something even a certain S-rank mage still hasn't contained.
• Using this magic also requires a lot of magical power, which is the evident reason why low-ranked mages fail to use this magic to it's normal capability.
• If used too much, the user might lose a lot of magic power.
• One main weakness of this magic is that it lacks range. Every spell can only be performed through contact, which gives the user a disadvantage when against long-ranged/sniper-based magic.
Abilities/Powers:
• Ability to destroy regular objects through touch - the user is able to smash medium sized and simple objects without wasting that much magic. The size and class of the object increases as the mage's rank goes higher, but as of now, this is what a B rank mage can do.
• Enhanced Strength - Because of this magic's destructive nature, the user's body is stronger than normal. The user's strength is a lot higher than ordinary mages of the same rank, allowing the user to easily overpower them in combat. However, this strength is not enough to be compared to the likes of mages who use slayer magic. If the user would be fighting those mages in hand to hand combat, it is incredibly likely that the user will be overpowered.
•SPELLS•
- D RANK SPELLS:
- Name: Force Palm
Rank: D
Type: Crash
Description:
The user concentrates magic into his palm and then hits the opponent with considerable force. It deals slightly considerable damage, but the main thing about this spell is that it pushes the opponent back for two meters, giving the user more space to prepare his next attack.
Strengths:
This spell can be used to widen the distance between the user and the opponent, giving the user enough space to prepare his next attack. It is often used as a set-up for an assault.
Weaknesses:
It doesn't really deal that much damage. It deals almost the same damage as a regular strike from the user, so it's nothing serious when it comes to the damage category. It can also be parried away by a move of the same rank. Mages of higher rank (A, S) can simply nullify this spell with their bare hands.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant duration. 2 post Cooldown.
Name: Crash
Rank: D
Type: Crash
Description: The user enchants both of his hands with magic power, enough power to crash objects with one touch of each, thus, it can be used twice. This spell requires physical contact between the user and an object. When touched, the user completely destroys the object by pressurized magic power. It can only work on non-magic objects and it won't work if the user attempts to use it on objects bigger than a car. In-battle, this spell can also be used by touching someone and releasing the pressurized damage, causing a small burst of power. It will cause bruises, but it isn't strong enough to cause major damage.
Strengths:
This spell has many uses. It can be used in battle or out of battle. It is the simplest spell of crash magic and can be used twice by the user's two hands. This magic can be used in a lot of situations, like when there is something blocking the user's path in a mission, they can simply use this spell to clear it.
Weaknesses:
It isn't that strong when it comes to the damage category, even if the opponent is hit by both hands. It can't be used to break magical objects because of the fact that magical objects have different magic properties than ordinary ones. It also requires physical contact, which can be hard especially when fighting mages with long-range spells.
Duration/Cooldowns 1 post duration; 3 post cooldown
Name: Spell Crash
Rank: D
Type: Crash
Description:
This is a specialized version of the crash spell. Like the crash spell, the user can use each hand, giving them the ability to perform it twice. Unlike the crash spell, this spell is made to destroy magic particles, so it won't affect ordinary objects and people. When using this spell, the user can completely dispel a D rank spell before they can be activated. C rank spells and higher won't be affected by this spell because of the higher level of magical properties.
Strengths:
This spell is specialized to crash magical particles, allowing the user to destroy spells. It can also be done with both hands, which allows the user to use it twice. D rank spells are completely destroyed by this spell. If used in proper situations, it can be a very reliable spell.
Weaknesses:
This spell can only destroy magic, so regular objects and living things won't be affected in any way. Spells higher than D rank will just shrug this spell off as if it is nothing. It can't be used against spells that are already active, limiting its usage. This spell has no effect on defensive magic since it only focuses on dispelling offensive ones. It also requires close contact with a spell, which can be dangerous especially if the user hasn't mastered proper timing of this spell.
Duration/Cooldowns 1 post duration, 3 post cooldown.
Name: Crash Fist
Rank: D
Type: Crash
Description:
The user's fist glows a faint white after fortifying it with crash magic. After that, the user lunges at the opponent and hits them at full force, causing the fortified crash magic to explode once contact is made. It causes considerable amount of damage. If hit directly, it can cause bruises and disrupt channeling spells. This spell is enough to push mages back for about 2 meters, but higher ranked mages (A, S) won't be affected by this.
Strengths:
A very reliable offensive spell which deals a considerable amount of damage. It is also quite easy to perform since the user just needs to channel magic and punch the opponent, a simple procedure almost every mage can do. If timed correctly, the user can disrupt channeling spells.
Weaknesses:
It requires the user to attack the opponent at close range, which might make them an easy target for counter attacks. It deals considerable damage for a D rank spell, but it won't cause major bruises and stuff like that.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant duration, 3 post cooldown
- C RANK SPELLS:
- Name: Crash Combat
Rank: C
Type: Crash
Description:
The user concentrates, a white magic circle appearing below his feet. Afterwards, the user spreads his arms, a faint white aura surrounding him. The user then charges at the opponent and lands a lot of melee attacks ranging from punches to kicks in a very fast rate, about seven attacks in one second. If the opponent is hit by all attacks, it inflicts a good amount of damage and cause bruises and body pain. The body pain lasts for about 2 posts.
Strengths:
This magic is incredibly fast, so blocking it can be quite a hard task. It also has a good damage output if all attacks manage to land on the opponent successfully. This assault can cause body pain which lasts for two posts, limiting the opponent's movements.
Weaknesses:
If the user performs this spell, they let go of their guard, leaving them open to many attack opportunities. It can also tire the user because seven attacks a second definitely reduces one's stamina. Individually, one blow doesn't cause that much damage so defensive spells will definitely work against it. Another weakness is that the user can't use this to smash through spells of the same rank or higher, but it can be used on lower-ranked ones.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant duration, 4 post cooldown
Name: Crash Uppercut
Rank: C
Type: Crash
Description:
The user charges at the opponent, covering his fist with magical power. Once the distance between the user and the opponent is closed, the user releases a powerful uppercut on the opponent's head, sending them flying for about three meters high (Unless the opponent has a higher rank [A, S] than the user, though). It causes great amounts of damage and can cause dizziness if hit directly. This spell might cause additional damage depending on how the opponent falls, though mages will only get minor sores that won't really last long. This spell doesn't necessarily have to hit the opponent's head, but if the user targets a different part of the opponent's body then the dizzy bonus is discarded. The damage done by this spell is equal to two C-rank damage since it not only uses the strength of the spell, but the strength of the user as well.
Strengths:
This spell is quite powerful, having enough force to send the opponent flying. Once in the air, the opponent is open to many attacks especially if they haven't mastered combat in mid-air. The damage of this spell doesn't just come from the blow, but it can also be from how the opponent falls, which might cause some sores (though the damage can be easily shrugged off). It also causes minor dizziness if the opponent is directly hit.
Weaknesses:
This spell is very risky, especially the part when the user has to run directly to the opponent. If the user just runs recklessly, then he will be vulnerable to many attacks. If the opponent has excellent body control in the air, they can easily land direct hits against the user.
Duration/Cooldowns Dizziness lasts for half a post. Instant duration, 4 post cooldown.
Name: Earth Smash
Rank: C
Type: Crash
Description:
The user slams his palm on the earth, releasing crash magic and forcing the level of the earth down for about half a meter in just a second, sending any person caught within to be knocked out of balance. The effect of this magic has a radius of 4 meters.
Strengths:
This magic has a lot of uses. It can knock the foe off-balance, leaving them open to attacks from the user. It can also reduce impact damage caused by attacks from above if timed correctly. The reduction from D-B rank attacks are reduced by 50%, while higher ranks can still cause full damage to the user.
Weaknesses:
When the user does this spell, the earth below him cracks and reduces to small rocks, which might give earth magic users an opportunity to strike by manipulating the small objects and attacking the user with them.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant duration, cooldown of 4 posts
- B RANK SPELLS:
- Name: Crash
Rank: B
Type: Crash
Description:
This is the more advanced version of the D-rank spell also named crash. The latter spell can only crash things not as big as a car, but this spell can crash things as large as an apartment. Its power is enough to completely destroy a truck and reduce boulders to rubble. It can't be cast on a person individually, but it does deal damage to those who are near the object crashed, causing C-rank damage.
Strengths:
This spell can be used to clear things blocking the user's path. It has enough force to destroy a truck, so when used against humans, it deals high amounts of damage. It is four times as powerful as its D-rank counterpart.
Weaknesses:
It is difficult to destroy magical objects with this spell and can only destroy magically enhanced weapons not higher than weak(+). It's battle effectiveness is not that great since it deals as much damage as a strong C-rank spell. Another problem with this spell is that the user must have close contact with the object he is attempting to crash, which might be dangerous.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant Duration, cooldown of 5 posts
Name: Spell Crash
Rank: B
Type: Crash
Description:
This spell is the B-rank counterpart of the D rank spell of the same name. But unlike its D rank counterpart, this spell can be used to block higher ranked magic and can destroy strong weapons. This spell can completely crash D, C, and B rank spells. Higher ranked spells will just shrug this spell off as if it was nothing.
Strengths:
Just like the D rank spell, this magic specializes in destroying magic particles until B rank. If used with proper timing, it can be a very reliable spell, just like its D rank counterpart. It can also destroy strong weapons. It can also crash D rank defensive spells.
Weaknesses:
It can't destroy regular objects because it specializes in different particles. It has no effect on living things, same reason as the first statement. It can be shrugged off by spells higher than B rank. It can't crash C rank and higher defenses.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant duration, cooldown of 5 posts.
Name: Crash Burst
Rank: B
Type: Crash
Description:Visual Description:As the picture shows, the user must have physical contact against the opponent and must stay on a standing position for the rest of the spell. Once the user touches the opponent, it causes a rather large explosion which is 20 meters long and 7 meters wide. Anything caught in the explosion is also damaged. The explosion causes a lot of damage, equivalent to two B-rank damage on the opponent touched, leading to bruises and injuries. Those caught in the range take good amount of damage equal to one C rank attack and minor bruises and will be knocked out of their feet. The one touched will be pushed back for a maximum of 7 meters, but higher ranked mages (A, S) only for a maximum of 1 meter.
Strengths:
This spell is incredibly destructive, having enough force to crash the ground below the explosion. It also has a high amount of damage output, high enough to be considered as Daichi's strongest spell. It also damages anyone caught in the range, which makes the spell great against a wave of opponents. It also pushes the enemy back, dealing additional damage depending on how they fall.
Weaknesses:
All powerful spells have drawbacks. This spell is not an exception. While being performed, the user must stay in one place, leaving him open to attacks outside the range of the explosion. Being a powerful spell, it drains quite a good amount of magic from the user. Being quite a large spell, the user might accidentally hit an ally who is inside the range, something you definitely don't want to happen.
