Spy Criminal Watch! [Duo]

Job Description:

Zeltaath arrived in Oak Town early in the morning to meet with the client. This being his first job involving a client outside of the guild made him nervous and on edge about making a good impression for the guild. He kept his head low with a cold and calm look about him, unusual for him since his guild mates always know him to be the energetic and wild one. However, for this type of job he did not want to attract attention to him so he didn't bring Cinder with him. Without his friend with him he was alone and left to the dark thoughts that clawed their way to the forefront of his mind.

The young mage made his way to the address stated on the job request to meet the client to gather more info. Also, because he was told before he left that he was to work on the job with a member from Lamia Scale. He arrived at the address, it was a house located a couple blocks away from the town center. Zel knocked on the door, when the client answered his thoughts receded and his smile returned, "Hello! I'm Zeltaath, are you the client I was sent to meet for the job request?" The client was an old man with thick glasses, tuffs of hair poked out from his night cap. He smiled and opened the door for Zel to come in, "Yes I am, thank you for coming. Please take a seat and we can discuss the details."

Ari had entered the town early. She was wearing black pants that had been tailored to fit her tail. As well as this, was a white t-shirt she had on. Her hair was in a ponytail, and clearly emphasized her cat ears to anyone that was looking. She knew that she had a job to do, and that this was the best possible way for her to get through things. Sadly, the job didn't entail that they would need to take down any criminals today, but she knew that this was a good way for her to feel like she was finally good. It had only been a month since she had her powers, and she was thankful for them. Nature had given her a blessing that she would not waste. She didn't want to disappoint it. So, she knew that doing good for the people of the world would be good for her. She felt her cat ears twitch a tiny bit, as she began listening to the people around her. Some of them were wondering what someone like her was doing in the area. They had apparently never seen someone that had been able to take on the form of an animal before.

Sure, she knew that simple townsfolk wouldn't understand something like her, but she knew that it was wrong for them to. Ari was as human as any of the other people in the town, and she didn't want to be judged by them. Either way, she was going to save this town of one pesky criminal one way or another. With her bow in hand, she began to approach the door of the building the man had sent to her through mail. As she looked at the paper, she began to fold in neatly as she tucked it into the left side pocket of her pants. With that, she turned the knob of the door and began to creak it open, little by little. As she walked in, she had seen that a boy was already there. She raised her eyebrow, wondering what he was doing there, and realized that she wasn't going to be the only one on this job. She then began to slowly walk towards the seat of the old man's desk and looked over to the orange haired teen sitting next to her. She knew that he probably was a strong mage, especially for being one that was in the guild of Silver Wolf. Later, she would ask questions, but for now, she looked towards the man, laying her bow on its side, in her lap.

After the old man and Zel were seated and before they got down to business, they heard the front door creak open and shut. Fascinated by the cat ears and tail the woman had, Zel couldn't help but get distracted from business and look up at the ears as she sat next to him. Through an astonished look Zel remarked, "That's amazing! Are those real? Oooh wait! Maybe I can just-" Zel tensed the muscles in his body for a moment. All of his hair spontaneously combusted into flames. "Do I have cat ears now?" He looked over to the old man now sitting back in his chair in a state of confusion, "Uhhh? Well... Anyways, back to business. I am Mr. Poko, I've gathered you both here because I suspect a thief in the city. The person in question is found in the town center just down the road from here, in the afternoon, and wears black clothing. After you've both recorded the persons daily activities to see if the person truly is stealing money from people I want you to return here. I'll take the information and pass it onto the authorities. Any questions?" Zel raised an eyebrow and glanced over at the girl before looking back at Mr. Poko, "At the current moment, I do not have any questions. I have my theories but won't know for sure until I get out into the field. What about you Ms?"

Ari looked over to the child with an annoyed look on her face. She hated the fact that people looked at her ears the way they did. She just wished that people would just see them as normal instead of cool, or an abomination. However, she did not want to say anything, especially not to the orange haired child. So, for now, she would just keep a straight face and try to get through this debriefing as soon as possible. She watched as the boy created ears as his own. She rolled her eyes, and thought to herself, "Typical child. Hopefully nature will be able to set him straight. He seems like a nice kid, but he needs structure. He needs that before he can truly do good for people." As she sat up straight, she began listening to the man getting back to the job. The job he informed them of, was one that seemed to be something like a stake out, or maybe something of just sneaking in the shadows. Either way, Ari could do either. Ari had the eye of a hunter, meaning that should could easily spot someone from miles away. She wondered if the teenager had any specialties that would make him of use here, but she decided that she would be able to complete this mission anyways. That meant there was probably no point in her asking them about it. As the man asked if there were any questions, Ari said to him, "What's his name? I want to know as much information as possible to catch the lowlife instead of some innocent person we've bothered."

The man looked back to her a bit frantically, trying to think about it. He was clearly thrown off by the question, but Ari shrugged it off. As he looked through a few papers, he said back to her question, "Uh...yes...his name is Alfie Bright. He came here a few weeks ago in order to buy one of my items on purchase." With that, he began to direct the attention of the two people to look around to see the wares he had in his shop. As he finished, he continued on with his sentence, "After that, I couldn't get away from him. He was everywhere I went, which felt like I couldn't leave the area. Everytime I left, I came back with no money. I didn't spend it, I'm not crazy. I just want this criminal to be caught. This criminal will not scare any other person like he did me, again." Ari could truly hear the sound of the hurt in his voice as he spoke to them. With a comforting voice, Ari said to him, "We will get him for you. You can trust us on that." The second she said this, she began to slowly get up, and walked towards the door. She looked back towards the man and clearly understood what he was going to. This was the exact thing happening to her. She was so afraid to leave the site of nature, because of this thing that would follow her around everywhere. She truly felt sorry for him. She then began to wave over the teenager to follow her, not showing any vulnerabilities to him at all.
