Description:
Tsuyoi Ken is a weapon enhancement magic. It is focused around making melee attacks more powerful. It is also a varied elemental magic, meaning that each of it spells involve enhancing a weapon based on elemental properties, be they that of water, air, earth, lightning, fire, darkness, or light. This magic was designed to be used with bladed weapons, such as swords or knives. However, it can be used on any weapon, including the user's own body. However, casting it on your own body is highly discouraged, as it has some unpleasant side effects.
Sayuri's primary magic deals no damage, so she relies on her melee attacks to damage her enemies, hence why she learned this magic to enhance those attacks. Swords are her main weapon, as she is very proficient in using them, so they are the main weapon she uses her magic on. If an enemy has any elemental strengths or weaknesses, she tries to use this to her advantage, since her spells use a variety of different elements.

Weaknesses:
- Most spells require the target to be hit with a physical attack for the spell to work, meaning their range is effectively very short.
- If the user casts this magic using their own body as the weapon, they take 10% of the damage they deal to their opponents. This does not decrease the damage the opponent takes. In the case of damage over time effects, they only take damage from the initial hit. If the damage of an attack is decreased against an opponent with an elemental resistance, the damage taken is based on the full damage of the attack, not the reduced damage.

Description: This spell is water-based. When cast the user's weapon has a sort of shimmery effect to it, and almost looks like it is becoming liquid. While this spell is active the user's speed is increased by 50%.

Description: This spell is air-based. When this spell is cast, a small field of churning air appears around the user's weapon. If the user lands a physical attack while the spell is active, it will do spell-ranked damage and heal the user for 50% of the damage done. This can only happen once each time the spell is cast.
Strengths:- Heals user for part of the damage dealt.
Weaknesses:- The healing affect does not work against any enemy whose magic is healing-based.

Description: This spell is lightning-based. When cast, the user's blade appears to crackle with electricity for a moment. Then it discharges a bolt of electrical energy toward the target. It deals 60 HP of damage on a direct hit, and if it hits within 10 m of the target it will still hit for 50% of that damage (30 HP). On a direct hit this spell will also stun the target for one turn.
Strengths:- Can deal damage even if the spell misses, as long as the target is close enough.
- Stuns the target on a direct hit.
Weaknesses:- Direct hits only deal 50% of normal damage against opponents that have lightning based damage, and does no damage to such an opponent on a near miss. Cannot stun an opponent with lightning based magic.
- This attack can be eaten by lightning-type slayers.
- Can deal damage even if the spell misses, as long as the target is close enough.

Description: This spell is earth based. When this spell is active, the user's weapon appears to be made of stone, rather than its usual material. Throughout the duration of this spell physical attacks dealt by the weapon the spell was cast on will deal the spell's damage rather than melee damage.
Strengths:- Physical attacks deal magic damage instead of melee damage.
Weaknesses:- While this spell is active, attacks deal 25% less damage against any opponent whose magic is earth-based.

Description: This spell is fire based. While this spell is active, the user's weapon appears to be covered in flames. The first time the user lands a successful melee attack with the weapon the spell had been cast on, instead of that attack dealing damage it triggers an explosion area of effect attack, dealing damage to all enemies within range who fail to dodge. Once this explosion is triggered, the spell automatically ends (regardless of how long it has been active) and immediately starts its cooldown period.
Strengths:- Deals damage to all enemies within range.
Weaknesses:- Deals 25% less damage against opponents with fire-based magic.
- Can be eaten by fire-based slayers.

Type: Single Target, Damage over Time
Damage: 50% of advanced spell rank single target damage on the initial hit (up to 90 HP at S+ rank), and additionally the same amount of damage every turn for the next four turns.
Range: User must be hit by a physical attack for this effect to trigger
Speed: Advanced spell rank single target speeds (up to 450 m/s at S+ rank)
Duration: 5 Posts

Description: This spell is darkness based. When cast, the user's weapon turns pitch black in color. The user must land a melee attack on the target for this effect to activate. It has a poison effect, thus dealing damage over time.
Strengths:- Deals a lot of damage over time.
Weaknesses:- This spell only deals 25% spell-rank single target damage per post (as opposed to 50%) against any opponents that have darkness-based magic, or who are demonic or part demonic in nature.

Strengths:- Allows a single melee attack to do spell-ranked damage
Weaknesses:- Only deals 50% of normal spell damage against any opponents that have holy magic, or who are god-like in nature.
