Finding the lost cub

Amora makes her way through the land just looking down at her hands while clenching and opening her fists slowly open and closed while wondering what to do for herself from here on out for a unknown amount of time. Knowing it is her job to find her way in a fight by perfecting her takeover magic to a level that she hasn't reached as of yet, and already having had multiple failed attempts through her time of learning that has forced interesting results. She smiles as she swings her fist forward feeling a certain type of strength that she finds herself not use to that had manifested itself after her first foray into takeover. She just continues walking each step forward while kicking and punching at the air with as powerful strikes as she can get.

She takes relaxed steps forward one after the other while glancing about her location only knowing it by name do to her having looked at a map earlier. Having learned over the time during her travels how to read a map, and how to survive a lot easier by using the inventions and tools that travelers use rather then trying to trust her senses to lead her forward through everything. Having learned the hard way that trying to navigate by herself wasn't the easiest task she could've asked for herself. Her hand drifts to her pocket and takes out a metal knife and just swings it around slowly with a small smile rather glad to have at least this left to prove the magic that i once held for my own use. 'I won't forget about you my earthen magic, but i will master my more animalistic magic to prove that i am truly the queen of nature to reduce the damage they can do to my home.' I think to myself some what possessively as i grip my dagger tightly in my hands.

She makes her way through the forest one step at a time while twirling her dagger within her hands practicing some simple motions with what she has since the dagger is probably way to brittle to be used for actual combat anymore. She gazes at the weapon within her hand and then puts it back into her pocket with a small sigh as she makes her way towards a spot just beyond this forest. A place that is suppose to be at least somewhat peaceful in nature if the name she has heard is anything to go by. Making her way past one tree to the next avoiding the creatures of the forest using her senses, or just running away from them when need be to avoid some conflict. Eventually after a hour of walking she manages to arrive to the serene cliff with a smile on her face as she settles into a fighting like stance.

Her right arm outwards and her straight pointed forward with fingers turned towards the palm. The other hand near the abdominal region and formed into a fist with my feet spread shoulder width apart. Amora stares forward imagining her mentor in front of her as she begins to do some basic combat against her imaginary opponent to try and get some kind of practice in with her attempts at a fighting style she is trying to form. She lunges forward at her imaginary opponent with a singer of her claws like hand at the target then quickly moves her left leg to strike at the knee. She continues to observe the target then gets back into her first stance and frowns knowing there is a way she could perfect this. 'Most likely will need to mix in the transformations for actual effectiveness, or get a weapon to mix in for the sharp dangers of a blade. Also having a real opponent would be nice.' She thinks to herself with a nod of her head.

She sighs softly at the loss of her actual weapons she can just pull from anywhere as that does reduce her effectiveness as a huntress herself, but she will have to adapt like always and user this new magic as her new way of hunting targets. Which she can only really be hopeful in trying to find ways to use whatever she gets in a unique manner to surprise her opponents with what she would be capable of doing. She shakes her head with a small sigh and just continues moving forward without stop wanting to find a rather peaceful place to stop and just think on everything before she tries to figure out where to go next after having had her first shakey steps within the town of laventir. She smiles a bit rather glad that Oras was able to at least lead her to someone that taught her the basics. Though rather annoyed it was only the basics of the art enough for her to play around with which she is both thankful and annoyed by at the sometime. Since it will allow her to develop her own way of fighting without copying the man, and all the while learn from her mistakes in a hopefully not dangerous manner. She gazes forward just seeing endless forest for as far as her eyes can see, and not spotting a single soul that could at least interact with. Though that is partially her fault also since she has been avoiding the animals just encase they are a danger to her. 'Though that is smart since i don't know the wildlife here. They could be far more dangerous then what i am use to for all i know. better safe then dead.'

She glances through the trees and the various plantlife to look beyond into the distance of this forest that slowly starts to thin out as the edge of it slowly starts to come into view. Amora glances at the various signs of life from the various animals in the distance that she can see spotting such things as a beetle that she could try to kill for a use in her transformations. Figuring that she could try to use its horns possibly for an attack like a way to break down physical barriers like her earthen wall had been capable of doing. She shrugs slightly just keeping it in mind for the meantime, but not thinking to much on the idea of going out of her way to kill some simple insect that she can find anywhere possibly. Having come to such a place for the tranquil experience that it could provide for her in the time in trying to master something that could would take knowledge of how to transform oneself into a beast. To fight against the possible instincts that would threaten to take her over if she wasn't careful. She looks down to her right hand and clenches it slowly with a nod of her head determined to get these transformations down without losing control. Having dealt enough of that with whatever the silver flames that erupt from her when she is in danger have to do with anything. 'One thing at a time Amora. First the transformation then these silver flames you shall gain control of.' She thinks to herself with a nod of her head as she continues advancing as the edge of the forest comes into view.

She walks out into the opening beyond the forest seeing a beautiful sight of a cliff looking out towards a ocean as she smiles at the sight that greets her. Glancing towards her side seeing the town in the distance as she just nods her head and makes her way towards the edge of the cliff. She glances towards the waves that wash up and down along the cliff as she just nods her head as she just finds her seat and rests on the edge of the cliff. Her right leg hanging off the side and the left bent towards her as she looks forward as she listens to the sound of the waves as she closes her eyes enjoying the tranquility of the moment. Taking a slow deep breathe as her shoulders rise slightly along with her chest as she slowly exhales causing them to lower back down as she gazes forward with her amber colored gaze. 'This is strange being away from Oras after having spent quite a bit of time around him during my training. I wonder how much stronger he has gotten without me holding him down....i can't allow that i will push myself forward faster and faster. I can't allow him not being here to take care of me to slow me down in my own strength. I need to beat him in a fight first before anything else. After all i will be the apex predator. Plus it would be nice to stand one day as a equal at the very least. I don't want to be babysat by him when we're on our jobs' She thinks to herself with a small smirk on her face as she stands up quickly once more on the cliff and jumps back to get some distance as fast as she can within a short time to avoid possibly the ground beneath her breaking.

Once away from the edge of the cliff she just stands and looks out into the ocean and smiles taking her time to enjoy the scene that is in front of her. Wishing to commit all of this to her memory to enjoy some moments of peace that she can get before things can get serious for herself. Figuring that with the nature of humans that she had learned about from Oras means that she has made many enemies with just the few jobs she has done throughout her time. From the cultists of that plague situation, to things such as whoever those slavers were trying to barter with. Which has made her two big enemies that she shouldn't have made so early on if one of them could just repress her magic, and the other one remaining a mystery to what the slavers associates could be and what strength they have. Amora feels a slight uneasy feeling as such thoughts persist her remembering the feeling of being stripped of her magic and the weakness that came with it. She takes a quick glance back not spotting anybody as she slowly turns her head back towards the ocean shaking her head figuring she is just getting paranoid about nothing at all. That the person couldn't have found her and if he did not having any reason to track her down to end her life after leaving so quickly after repressing her magic. For if the cultist surely wished to kill her he would've done it on the spot while she was still defenseless with a thrown weapon of some type or the magic he clearly had within him. She just nods her head and turns around once more and starts to make her way back towards the forest. Amora traveling towards the nearby town to relax so she can get some rest after a long walk to get here from Laventir.

As she begins to make her way towards the town that she has seen on her way towards this destination to get a sense of all the beauty that was beyond her little cave miles away she hears the cry of something. Turning her head she spots the sight of a man making his way towards her in some kind of distress as she tilts her head at him as she sees him continue to make his way towards her. She shifts her stance ever so slightly to be prepared for a fight figuring it is possible this man could be coming after her to attack her for the money that is on her person. However, as the man arrives he quickly bows to her and begins to speak as she listens to every word that is spoken. "Yo can you help me find my lion. He got this orange fur with a brown mane shouldn't be to hard to spot him in the forest. However, i don't know where to begin while you look strong enough to search for awhile for my precious scotty. You can find him with these onions." The man says as he thrusts onions into her hands as she shrugs and puts them in her pockets and gives a nod to the man. Sure i have time to kill i can find this cub within the forest. Shouldn't be that hard really. She says towards the man with a nod of her head once more before walking forward past the person she doesn't bother getting the name of expecting him to be right there where she had left him before hearing the shout of the man. "I'll be in my home in the town nearby you can find me in the house with a nice backyard area for the lion." She hears from the man as she just gives a wave while walking.

Amora begins her way back into the forest with her hands within her pockets as she takes every step forward while glancing around looking for any signs of a lion paws, or any signs of fur from a mane sticking to a bush or tree. She glances around the area spotting the usual creatures with no sign of the cub right away from what she can see which makes sense since it has most likely fled a good distance from wherever it is within the forest for the cliff. With such thoughts she makes her way through the forest at a steady pace seeing many of the creatures still being peaceful without any problems from them as they live peacefully. She glances up towards the birds seeing many of them flying towards the east of her as she shrugs and makes her way over there figuring she could kill a few of them for meat. Not caring for there species since she already has a set of wings for her to utilize in flight to capture her targets that would try to flee. She continues making her way forward knowing that the cub is probably exploring what could be close to its natural habitat. having been drawn to it from being near it that or the owner is rather abusive in some manner to the cub and thus it wanted freedom away from the owner. She glances over towards the side watching the rather bigger beetles tear into insects and destroying them as she nods her head at the possibility that the animals near here could've pulled it away from the owner if they are strong enough to move a cub.

Amora continues making her way through the forest step by step gazing at the various creatures that have made this place there home in one fashion or the other as she closes her eyes as she lets a takeover activate. One that she has taken control over in some small fashion as she feels the beginning of it as her jackets and shirts rips ever so slightly to accommodate the wings that sprout from her back as they extend out from her. She nods her head as she feels the transformation ends as she takes slow deep breathes from the effect taking place still getting use to the whole feel of the transformation process as she takes one final deep breathe. She glances about as she stands straight and makes her way forward as she starts off in a slow walk and slowly moves forward bit by bit till she is in a sprint as she quickly ascends through the trees with the use of her wings flying up and above them all as she glances down with a smile on her face at the feel of the wind whipping around her.

Amora looks around the cliff as she just flaps her wings moving through the air while gliding through it like a liquid enjoying the foreign sensation. Sticking to the basic flying of moving right and left to turn and such since the idea of doing a barrel roll, or loops in the air being far to frightening and dangerous in her eyes. That if she was to lose control it would be a rather quick and dangerous fall straight to the ground that wouldn't be as welcoming as it once was in the past.

Amora continues to fly through the air with a smile upon her face as she just flies about the sky looking around at the various birds of prey that are around her. Her wings being that of a eagle like variety as with every flap keeps her up in the air as she just observes the creatures around her to get a solid grip on how to fly correctly. Looking at the simple birds of prey she observes them just moving in a pattern and keeping there wings balanced with a occasional flapping as she nods her head getting an idea that such a tactic is meant to just preserve energy for the most part. With a nod of her head she turns around by tilting her body towards the side to lean that way trying to mimic the birds as she slowly turns taking much longer then she would like as she nods her head figuring she will spend time learning how to move with the takeovers she gains. She looks down towards the forest as she goes into a nosedive towards the ground with a grin on her face with her eyes squinted to keep the air from bothering them to much. Once getting close to the actual trees she quickly flaps her wings towards the ground to kill the momentum as she sees herself slow down bit by bit and lands on the ground harshly as she grits her teeth feeling the impact. Okay that hurt more then expected. She says with a small sigh as she gets up and looks around realizing she was meant to find that lion cub as a nervous chuckles escapes from her lips as she quickly gets to work for this job.

She slowly makes her way through the forest having the wings disperse in a flash of white as she gazes around the forest slowly keeping her eye out for the color of the fur that the lion cub was meant to have that she is suppose to be searching for. Glancing from one creature to the next spotting groups of beetles working together to take on predators, to the birds in the air flying about, to other creatures of the forest from the smallest of insects to more dangerous beings like wolves. She keeps her focus upon the lion that she is meant to find glancing at one creature to the next as she looks towards her hands and wonders how she could develop a fighting style that would be befitting of her new magic. Amora sighs softly knowing she has much to work on during the two weeks of her training to prepare her for jobs once more, and that isn't even taking into account her own quest to reach the top of the food chain once more to have an advantage against all manner of prey once more. Not having the ability to entrap them like she use to be able to she quickly thinks of the many creatures that she knows of and nods her head slowly thinking of some she could easily get a hold of. If she can't trap her opponents by cornering them slowly she will just quickly corner her opponents and attack with brutal strength before they have a chance to stop her. With herself able to easily think of a few beasts that could help her gain some an advantage.

She glances around the forest as she watches the creatures slowly taking note of her presence as she prepares herself for an attack against her person. Keeping her senses sharp she continues forward without pause passing by various foliage in her search for this lion that is somewhere within this forest as she looks upwards and sees three birds rush right towards her as she quickly jumps back away from where they were aiming for her as she looks towards the creatures. Seeing very large feathered birds with razor sharp talons quickly disperse through the forest as she quickly grabs ones wings and pulls it towards her and slams it against a tree. With a grin at seeing it hit the tree see quickly follows up with multiple strikes against its right wings and ending once a crunch of bones is heard as she nods her head and leaves the bird to be by itself. A warning to the others. She says to herself as she makes her way once more towards the direction of where she thinks she will find the lion cub. She glances around the green colored forest as her eyes spot the sight of a orange coloring as she quickly makes a sprint towards the source with a smile on her face. Rather glad to be able to find the creature rather quickly so she can get this job over with to continue on her way through the world. Plus with this she can at least relax a little bit and enjoy the scenery before moving on to search for more creatures to perfect her new combat.

Amora makes her way through the forest making sure to run as fast as her feet can take her as she makes sure to keep up with the lion cub within sight. Quickly thinking she jumps upwards and kicks off the tree making her way upwards as she grabs onto a branch and looks in the direction the cub had went and slowly makes her way towards it by going from branch to branch of the trees. Reducing some of the noise that she will make as she smiles as she looks towards the orange cub wondering what to do to try and capture it and keep it safe while trying to transport it back to its owner. She then pauses mentally in her thought process remembering the owner giving her a bag of onions as she takes that out and quickly throws it over towards the cub as she observes the creature pause and slowly turn towards the treat. She waits with some nervous anticipation as the lion cub makes its way towards the onion sniffing it ever so slightly before taking a small bite and then devouring it in a single bite. With a grin at that she takes out another onion she throws it closer towards her having a plan now on how to get it back towards its owner without any problem. The only threat now being the multitude of creatures within this forest who could try to harm the lion for one reason or the other be it territory threatening, or just food.

She observes the lion as it slowly follows her path of onions that lead back towards the safety of the actual cliff where she hopes the owner will be waiting for her to take the lion off of her hands. She glances around keeping her keen senses aware of everything around her wanting to make sure that the creature makes it back unharmed to try and get a bit of money off of this task possibly. She glances back towards the cub to see the beast just eating one onion after the next as if it is normal to find such a trail within this forest. 'This is why we humans are at the top rather then these animals. I care for them all still, but they are rather easy to outwit with things people have learned. Taming a lion is impressive though i wonder if i can get a creature for myself to keep me company.' She thinks to herself with a smile at the thought of having a companion to keep her company, and possibly even fight alongside her to aid her in the fights ahead of her to destroy all opposition within her way. She taps her cheek slightly at that thought wondering what creature would be fitting for her to even have as a partner that would compliment her way of fighting. 'I guess that is something i can ask Oras about later. he might know something about fighting animal companions and if he doesn't i can look through the towns we pass through for something similar to that to make use of.' With a nod of her head at having a solid plan of action she keeps that in mind for the future.

She smiles as the lion cub seems close enough to the edge of the forest as she just slowly relaxes until she notices that the amount of creatures have dwindled by a rather surprising amount. No sign of anything or if there is sign of them they are remaining rather passive. Seeing this Amora quickly makes her way towards the ground and throws the last of the onions in a perfect path towards the edge of the forest to lead it towards where she had found the owner previously. She glances around the area waiting for something to make its appearance as she races her fists as she gets within a fighting stance that she had used when in collaboration with her earth magic. She turns her head slowly around her as she then spots something coming right towards her as she runs right towards the creature with a smile on her face. Spotting the white looking moose running right towards the direction of the lion cub as she jumps above the creature spotting its antlers as she flips in the air and grabs them as the moose passes by under her and she jerks the antlers towards the right away from the path of where it would lead to the edge of the cliff. Wanting to just steer the moose into a tree to try and knock it unconscious or at the very least keep it away from the cub so that it doesn't harm the small feline like creature. She presses her legs against the sides of the moose to keep herself stable during the whole riding attempt of this creature not wishing to simple be bucked off.

Amora quickly pulls at the antlers of the moose that she is in forcing it to look in the direction she wants it to move and keeps it fixated in that position as the creature turns in that direction as she smiles rather happily at that. With that she quickly lets go of the antlers and punches the creature hard in the neck getting a cry of pain from the creature as it suddenly throws her off of it as she hits the ground with a soft grunt of pain as she looks up towards the mammal. She quickly presses herself against the ground and rolls away from the moose as hooves go over head where she was laying down on the ground as the moose tried to strike at her by using its back legs. She quickly gets back up onto her feet while staring at the angry creature as it quickly rushes at her with its head down towards the ground. Acting out of instinct she once more jumps over the beast and slams her leg against its head causing it to stagger ever so slightly. Landing on the other side she quickly makes her way towards where she led the lion cub back towards it owner. Sprinting over towards there feeling a bit annoyed that a moose could get the better of her simply because she didn't have much access to a full range of abilities to fight off enemies. With a frustrated sigh she just continues moving forward eventually arriving to the location where the cub is just laying by its owner side once more.

Amora smiles with a nod of her head at seeing the cub having made it back to its owner most likely lead the full way back because of the owner having seen the cub exit the forest. Which means that this little task she did is over at the very least and means she can get back to doing what this two week time frame is meant for her to do. Fight and kill to become the top predator and to utilize new things she kills to become part of her magic. She makes her way towards the owner crossing the nice grassy little cliffside as she glances back towards her jacket and sees that it got torn from her transformation along with her shirt as she sighs softly. 'Looks like i will need to invest in some clothes that i can afford to tear, or clothes that can somehow grow with me as i learn some more transformations.' She thinks to herself a bit bitterly since she had loved the nice fur lined jacket that she had made. She takes off the jacket and puts it into her backpack of the various items she has on her person to allow her to survive actual travel over long distances. Food to last her a month, water canister and purifier, some different sets of clothes along with the combat clothes her mentor had given her. Along with some little knickknacks from the various jobs she has taken over the time of her doing some jobs mainly for the fun of it.

Amora walks up towards the owner with a small wave of her hand as a greeting towards the man in question and nods her head towards the lion. I managed to get your pet back sir. She says towards the owner who she can see is petting the small lion cub as she looks at the man trying to think of what her mentor would probably think about this man. "Yo thank you for getting him back have a little cash to get you by for helping my little cub out. If you need me i will be back in town a free dinner on the house if you ever stop by." The man says to her as he then leads his cub back home with a onion as Amora just takes the jewles that the man had offered her while staring at the sight with confusion. 'Probably think he would be a weirdo or have some bad agenda towards the tiger knowing Oras. He has quite a trust issue with others.' She thinks to herself with a small shrug as she pockets the money she had made from this and looks towards the sky with a tilt of her head as she taps her foot gently on the ground. Hmmm what should i build this magic around i have flight as an option so that is neat, but i should be able to help out Oras in any situation that would be required of me though. Which means i will need more then just bird or land creatures. She says softly to herself as she then looks towards the edge of the cliff outwards and takes a slow calming breathe. Seeing the vast sea in front of her and the unknown depths that lie below it.

She makes her way towards the cliffside and just sits down underneath a tree her legs bent and tucked near her chest as she looks out towards the ocean in front of her with a small smile on her face. She just looks out towards the sparkling water as the sounds of the ocean hitting up against the land filling the area with a nice sense of calm. She drums her fingers along her legs as she lets her mind drift as she just listens to the ocean in utter contentment. 'I wonder how much farther i will go in this life. I mean i lose control of myself so much during combat against humans, and i've had caster magic stripped from me. And this has only been a rather short time since i have left my little home in that cave. I guess that is a small difference between myself and those city mages like Oras. This world strengthens people to new heights to be able to fight against everything. To make them think ten steps ahead to outwit an opponent before they have a chance to try and stop you.' She thinks to herself as she watches the glittering water from the sun's reflection. knowing that one day she will have to go back into the water at some point to actually swim in it and conquer her small little fear. However, for the moment just feeling content and happy with watching it from a safe distance far above it to enjoy the peace it is providing her while she is alone by herself.

She looks out towards the water for awhile longer before slowly getting up from her spot on the cliff as she turns back towards the forest and starts making her way back towards civilization. Having long days of travel, training, and fighting of creatures to make her as prepared as possible to take on Oras when they meet up once more. Wanting to prove towards her mentor how much she has improved during the time of training that has been given to her to try and surpass his current set of skills that she can figure out. Which first would require her to somehow get past his illusions that he loves to use to beat her, and then work on improving her speed and strength to try and overpower him to make sure he can't have enough time to even think of what to do next. To limit her opponents time to strategize by not giving them any down time during combat between attacks that she will be launching at them. 'What are the best predators and how to strike? First a top predator is unseen and uses that to its advantage. Those chameleons can be useful for that. A predator is meant to be strong like a bull or gorilla, and a predator is fast like the birds. Though a little defense can be a good way also but what kind of animals even hide in some defense to even fight?' She wonders to herself as she walks aimlessly without much of a plan. Letting just the winds of fate lead her around for the time being since she can take care of herself in nature in terms of food and shelter.
