Cattle Hunting (Sea Portion)

Yuiisai grinned happily seeing the other acknowledge her as he waved back though it was brief "Aguya! Look we found him!" she said with an excited tone it almost seemed as if she was ready to jump off the company ship and swim ashore to meet him. "I didn't think we'd find him so soon but there he is." she happily spoke to her older and taller attendant whom seemed less than enthusiastic about it. "So it would seem my lady, but if you bounce around like that you are liable to fall overboard and where I don't mind getting dirty and wet you won't like it." he warned her making her calm down and look over the edge of the ship at the semi murky depths below shuddering "Not to mention we did not bring a change of clothing for you" he added with a sigh though he could easily get one if required. Seeing the gesture he made for her to follow she nodded wondering what was going on.

Before long the company ship pulled into port and she soon dashed off it running to the ship that Feitan had borded with Aguya closely behind her "My lady calm down, we don't even know where this ship is going to or what task he is doing." he called after her but it was clear that Yuiisai didn't really care as she kept on running even as she got to the gangway with little effort. Once she got onto the ship she ran across the ships deck and tackled the other hugging him tightly "Hi stranger!" she almost chirped Aguya who sighed at what he had just witnessed. Where he disliked Feitan he had been told by Sol to allow things progress that he would step in if things started to affect Yuiisai, so there was an unsteady truce between the two at least from his stand point. "Good day my lord may I enquire why we are on a boat, where said boat is going to and what we are doing whence we get to said destination." he said helping to separate the two.

Feitan boarded the ship and then glanced over to watch as Yuiisai rushed towards him. He only just had time to brace himself before she tackled him, and he held up. He was used to this kind of thing and he was able to keep on his feet and hold onto her. Petting her head gently he said “Well, hello there little Yuiisai. It has been a few turns of the moon, still glad to see that you are ready to go on another job. I hope you don’t mind the mysterious patron aspect of the job I am doing.” He said rather simply as he let Yuiisai hug her fill.

Looking over to Aguya his eyes flashed with amusement and he nodded his head slowly “It seems at least you have learned some manners. Still, I must say that I am very happy to see that you have. I was starting to worry I would have to kill you.” He looked down at Yuiisai nodding his head “The mission I am on could simply be called cow wrangling. There is a very, very wealthy patron that wants to pay us for stealing a herd of amazingly special cattle from a monster rancher. We are going to go there and steal all that he has. We are to kill the rancher, his guard dog, and anything else.”

He smiled widely and gave a shrug “We have to bring the whole of the herd back here. Apparently, our patron might actually know just how many heads of cattle are in the herd. So, if we are missing even one, or they are seriously wounded then we do not get paid a damn thing. Otherwise, anything else we find other than the cattle are ours for the taking really.” He said with a great yawn. He gently broke away from Yuiisai and then walked over to the ship railing and leaned against it looking down into the water “I wonder what kind of interesting little fun we will find on this island. Although the sea that we are going through will be very interesting. I have never actually been through any of the seas. Nor have I seen any of them.” He said with a rather wishful tone in his voice.

Yuiisai pulled back after the brief embrace pouting as she was petted and called little, it was clear even to a blind person she was far from happy about what had happened and the first part that had been said. "Feitan, don't pet me as if I'm some sort of dog and I'm taller than you." she said her voice showing just how unimpressed she was about the entire situation, soon however the pout left and she was smiling once more hugging Feitan again "Well I'm glad to see you're doing well since we last done something together, I have to admit the change in climate has been good for both Aguya and I but it's still odd as we where getting use to one way of life and it's changed all over again." it would be clear that this was hard for the traditionally raised girl from Terra Ignis but she was at least trying to make the best out of the situation "Mysterious patron?" she repeated looking to him blinking "I don't mind since we get to do something together." she said with a shrug as she was pulled gently back by Aguya for a second time.

"My lady may not have issue but I do." the taller male said to the other he didn't like the idea of doing things for an unknown person because it could be a potential trap or what they where doing could be sinister in nature, he didn't want that kind of thing for the one he protected and cared for. "Manners? I've always had those, I just didn't see the point of wasting them on you but we have a mutual lord so we have to get on with each other." he said with a small dark smile "Besides neither of us wish my lady upset." he finished not taking his threat on his life seriously looking to Yuiisai who seemed to be confused at what was said "Cow wrangling my lady is quite simply put moving a herd of cows from one place to another." he said watching as she took in the information "And stealing from another person is not what she or you should be doing you are associated with the West Fiore Trading Company, they'll get a bad reputation." he said folding his arms his stance on this wouldn't change on the matter the last thing he wanted was for those who gave sanctuary to kick them out.

He knew as Yuiisai had said that they would do it because she wanted to spend time with him but at the same time he knew the rules as did she so made sure always to carry their masks. "We can do this but we are all wearing masks, last thing we need is our lord to get angry because company policies weren't followed." he said with a deep sigh, Yuiisai knew that she had to do it Aguya's way or they'd be heading right home. "Okay Aguya." she said softly nodding her head a little, she had missed spending time with the person she believed to be a friend even if Aguya had never approved of it. "I think we should be able to to that but why are these animals so precious I wonder." she never really dealt with animals other than koi and carp before so this was going to be a new experience for her. "Which Island are we going to Feitan?" she asked she was excited as other than Divide island she had never been anywhere but the main land and even there her so many places where still very new. "Why will this sea be interesting?" she asked in curiosity.

Feitan raised his brow as he was scolded by Yuiisai. He tilted his head slowly his eyes fogging over with the hint of his madness. “I wasn’t petting you as if you were a dog. As for taller than me, that may be true, but power vastly surpasses your own and that makes you little. Don’t take offense. I used to be called little by someone barely half my size and yet her power outstripped mine by the greatest leaps and bounds. It was slightly embarrassing, but I think I took it in stride.” He said his eyes reflecting his deep thoughts for a long moment. Nodding his head as he heard it was good to seen by her, and also seeing that life was showing its wear and tear on Yuiisai he got annoyed by it. Clearing his throat he said “Well, don’t worry, you’ll get used to another way of life just fine. There is no need to let it get to you like that. I am also glad to hear that you don’t mind our mysterious patron. We are being well compensated for the mysterious angle of it.”

He shot Aguya a glare shaking his head “The Mysterious patron himself might be an annoying puissant, but his money is good as anyone else’s and there is no need to shun money.” He said quite simply. His glare intensified, and his eyes filled with madness his magical aura flaring up briefly “A waste you say…I think your life is a waste.” He said reaching behind his head to draw his sword. Yet, Aguya’s last sentence made him stop dead. With a task, he turned away and took a step away from them “Fine. I suppose you are right.” He said all the wind and anger taken out of his sails. He about stopped listening until he heard the name ‘West Fiore Trading Company’. This made him smile, he now had a location on where Yuiisai went, and that meant that he would have to find them. He would go investigate the West Fiore Trading Company, and he would not allow them to turn him away. He would stay with Yuiisai no matter what anyone said, and he would utterly destroy anyone who would ever get in his way.

Feitan waved away the idea of masks and stealing from people. “You can’t steal from a monster. Besides, the instructions were very specific. Kill the one who owns the herd, kill any who get in the way, and return every last cow to the client alive, and without injuries. If we lose even one, then we lose all of the money as well. However, if wearing a mask will make you both happy then there is absolutely no reason for you not to. Seeing as I am not associated with this West Fiore Trading Company then I do not have to wear masks. I also don’t plan to leave a single witness alive. Our crew here has been ordered to keep their mouths shut, and I have already warned them that if they break this order then their lives and the lives of their loved ones are forfeit.” He glared at one of these hapless seamen who happened to be on the deck. He gave a cry of alarm and shot away quickly out of sight below decks. Slowly Feitan moved to the railing to lean out and look at the water “I don’t know why these cows are so special, but I’m not in the habit of asking questions to those who pay me. I don’t know which Island we are going to, only that it is not divide Island. The captain of the ship knows though and that’s all that really matters to me. As for why the sea will be interesting. That’s simple enough,” he leaned back to look at Yuiisai his collar falling away from his mouth to reveal his cheerful smile “I’ve never been to the sea, or any large body of water before. Lakes are the largest bodies of water I have ever been to. So, I am happy to see the sea that we are passing through, and I am excited to see this island."

Yuiisai listened to the other as he spoke about size and power folding her arms once more the smile leaving her as she seemed none to happy about what he was saying, sure she knew in physical power she was no match for someone like him but she wasn't ever meant to be on a battlefield and even if she was it would never be on the front line. It would be a scary thought however given how she was when her clothing got even slightly messy as she gave no quarter, it was almost as if someone else had control of the beautiful, cultured and charming oiran's body when such a slight happened and it was one Aguya had quickly warned Sol of for his safety and the safety of the others within the castle the now called home. She hadn't notice he had realised that so much change is such quick succession had and still was taking its toll on her, Aguya on the other hand had but remained silent merely nodding his head slightly at the recognition; as much as he didn't care for the madman being around his lady he had to concede it was clear that he did care deeply for her and so would talk about the goings on if the other asked for it.

Yuiisai listened as she was told she would get use to a new way of life in time her dull milky jade eyes looked away, it was clear that it wasn't something she wanted but something that had been forced upon her. "I was content at home. I knew what was what, I knew my role, what was expected of me and had friends..." her voice was low as she sat on the deck looking to the sky "I am no longer content. I don't know what is what, I don't know my roll, nor what is expected of me, my friends are no longer with me and for freedom I am still not free." she said her tone quiet and sad as she balled her fists on her lap, in truth she just wanted to go back to the place she was raised, the place that made complete sense to her, were she had friends everything not her current existence was.

"Like I said she may not but I do..." Aguya cut in keeping Yuiisai close to him, his arms embracing her like a protective barrier. He sighed shaking his head "How can you call this person such a thing when you, yourself have no idea whom you are dealing with?" he asked knowing there was no way to tell they were anything but annoying and someone that they really shouldn't be dealing with. "Money means little if gained doing the wrong thing that is why it is easy to shun such currency." he said his tone was calm but held annoyance in the undertone when it came to this whole situation. He didn't bother taking a step back when he felt the others aura as he had, had to deal with his lady's since he became her attendant and trained with Sol so seen little reason to be afraid. "Interesting trick, do you do birthday parties?" he said with the same stoic tone he normally used it would clear as day what scared others wouldn't affect the taller male for one reason or another "To me? No.. but I am not the only person in this world whom has an opinion" he said his deep green eyes looking to the one he had in his arms.

"We don't know that this person is a monster and theft is still theft." he said with a quiet sigh feeling like this was going around in circles and wanted to break the cycle. Yuiisai whimpered hearing having to kill the person was part of the task she had agreed to not liking it "You agreed to help without knowing the terms of the contract my lady." he said with a sigh hoping this would be a lesson she would learn so she would avoid such a thing in the future. Yuiisai looked to Feitan and bit her lip "You must wear a mask too please..." she said moving to hold her plain mask to him knowing she could put up a glamour changing her own clothing and wear a veil to hide her face. "It's important to me we protect those who took Aguya, Sol, Aioai and myself in... pretty please." her tone begging the other to accept her terms just this once. She had put a new mark in it so that Feitan would see them for them and not for the members of the guild they had been associated with, this was for everyone's protection or it would make the two sides be known as one organisation by an outsider which was a huge taboo.

She listened to the rest of his words before looking up to Aguya a concerned look in her eyes as she didn't like the sound of not knowing where she was going, and nor did Aguya but there was no real way to prevent it at this moment. She looked back over to him as Feitan spoke once more and smiled seeing his full face for the first time not taking in his words. Aguya on the other hand had just looked around noticing the shipwrecks "We are in a ship graveyard..." he commented more to himself than others, he was glad however that the journey didn't take to long and they soon pulled up to the docks of shadow island.
