- Spoiler:
Haraka had learned how to use all the machines in the hospital, and had stopped feeling weird about machines for the most part. Still, there was one piece of modern technology he lacked, a mobile device. This was why he was in the neutral grounds with two large bags. If he couldn't magic food or clothes in, he had to keep it all on his person. This was how the shrimp ended up walking off of a merchants ship with his long tail curled behind him, and large naturally armored dragon looking wings tucked to his back as best as he could.
Really there was no hiding any demon or dragon anything on him, not even the magic in his necklace was working. This meant the man was basically a walking glow bug again. Just when it seemed like that was a long of the past, when he had swallowed his pride to put this stupid necklace on... figured. Well, the half demon had long since known that this would happen if he ever walked here, so there wasn't any surprise coming out of him. Still, all the looks he got since entering the area left an uncomfortable sensation.
Some looked at him like he was a monster that would eat everyone, others looked like they wanted to touch him like some mystery that needed touching. In any case, it was probably a good thing that he wasn't trying to go incognito. It did not matter how quiet each step could be, he was horned, winged, and tailed. Deep sapphire iris's moved about, looking at every building and sign as he continued on his way.
There was no reason to stay still just because others could stare. It wasn't the first time others had done this, there was no way the fear of others would stop him now. This may not have been for the guild, a selfish want, but it was one that he hoped would help him be a better person. It sounded silly, the thought that a piece of technology could do that. What was the best way to shake away the fear of new things? In his opinion, it was by embracing it bit by bit. What was the best way to do that?
His job had been a good start, but having a piece of technology that could stalk you or be used to stalk you down would be perfect. Okay so that thought did sound a little paranoid, but that was one of the reasons he needed this thing. It took a good while of walking to get there, at one point he had even taken a brief snack break, but eventually the half demon arrived at the iLac factory. The factory didn't look all that charming, but most factory's didn't. This little adventure wasn't about critiquing a building. With a little sigh, the half dragon quietly walked to the back of the line.
The line was very different than his passport experience though, quickly moving along. Before he knew it, he was at the front of the line filling things out so he could get his phone and register it to himself. The number it came with was an easy one to remember. This entire thing was a little anti climatic, but that was for the best.
It was nicer to be able to quietly walk away and go back home.
