Personality:
Pepa is bookish to a fault. Most times, when she is not on a job, she can be found reading books or practicing origami. Pepa herself puts a lot of effort into making such she can be as smart as she can be. She simply devours books, and all sources of knowledge. The jobs she aims for tend to reflect this. If a library is involved, or even an ancient ruin, she will gladly volunteer for it. Her own intelligence is not the only one she values. She will have incredible respect for other scholars, or strategic minds. She tends to also grow annoyed with people who show lack of smarts. In the past, this has put her at odds with individuals who put more emphasis on brawn than brains.Though she can be stern, and somewhat aloof at times, rare are those who would believe Pepa to ever be ill-intentioned. Simply put, she does not have one bad bone in her body. She will never go out of her way to harm anyone. She will only fight if it is required or in self defense. She has a certain sense of justice as well, wishing to protect those who can not protect themselves. She follows orders to perfection. Pepa has never seen herself as a leader and will gladly follow and aid any who seem like capable to lead.
Most of her time spent in a corner reading has caused her to be somewhat socially awkward. Pepa herself is not shy, but she may be awkward at times, somewhat confused on how to react or speak with new people.
In battle, Pepa is a brilliant tactician. Blame the books on ancient warfare and mage battles she's spent long nights devouring. She's calculating, and thinks incredibly quickly. She'll make up countless scenarios in preparation of her opponent's next moves. Though her mind is incredibly well developed, her abilities tend to not equal her mental prowess, making her easy to overpower by any stronger foe. Yet, because of her brains, she has been able to go toe to toe with some individuals that most believed would be a lost cause to go up against.
Likes:
- Reading, As stated before, Pepa is a fan of books, scrolls, magazines, anything she can get her hands on to read.
- Origami, Something Pepa picked up to calm her nerves, origami is something her mother excelled at, and she in turn picked it up.
- Traveling, Though she's only begun doing it, the young woman truly enjoys traveling. In part, it helps with her undying curiosity of the world that surrounds her.
Dislikes:
- Stupidity, She puts so much faith into intellect than when faced with things she would simply deem stupid, it can get on Pepa's nerves. People who believe brains are secondary truly grate her.
- Fire, Pepa will never be seen took close to a fireplace, when camping, she'll be several steps away from the flames keeping her warm. There's just something unsettling about fire and how out of control it can get that puts her ill-at-ease.
- Dark Guilds, Their disregard of law, their evil actions, the fact that no one is there to keep them in check, all of that makes Pepa hate them.
Motivations:
- Knowledge, Pepa's thirst of knowledge will push her in any direction. She'll explore ancient ruins, she'll spend time in the library, it is one of her biggest motivators.
- What is right, She has a need to do what is right, she will try to strive to protect the weak, and fight for justice.
- Her mother, Finding her mother, the woman who taught her magic is Pepa's greatest quest, it has been one that she has been on for years now, the progress, achingly slow.
Fears:
- Fire, Though it is not quite a phobia, Pepa definitely has some level of fear when it comes to fire. She will never, with intent, get too close to flames.
- Failed quest, One of Pepa's greatest fears is that she will never complete her quest, that she will never find the one she seeks, it tears her apart inside.
- Not being good enough, Pepa needs to be perfect. She wishes to be smart, wishes to be looked up to. Being weak, being stupid, being unable to fulfill expectations weighs heavily upon her.
