Nessa and Sebastian were sitting at a table in the guild hall, for once the two of them did not look happy with each-other. Normally the Starlight Maiden and Grey exceed got along very well. But at this very moment in them, the heat between them could be felt all the way across the room. Because the two of them were in the middle of an argument.
"You keep leaving me out on jobs!" The exceed huffed irritably.
"Because they're dangerous Sebastian, we're just getting used to working together. I don't want you to get hurt." She tried explaining to the exceed for the hundredth time.
"So you think I'm weak."The grey cat scowled, She rolled her eyes,
"No I don't, but we're both trying to figure out where we are with our magic and until I feel I have complete control. I'm not going to take you with me on every job, besides, you like going to work with my dad."
"That's not the point, to be honest I think it's just an excuse for you to play around with pretty boys." He said with a cold smirk, Nessa's eyes narrowed, she could feel her temper rising quickly.
"You know that's not true, I have guildmates, some of them so happen to be guys." She told him, her voice cold and steely. "Besides, you've met Aven, you told me you like the guy and we're a team so we have to do jobs together."
"I like Aven, he's cool. But this Markus guy, I don't know about him, he sounds shady, no matter how good he may look topless, I wont trust him 'til I meet him."Nessa's face dropped in confusion, wondering what he meant. She hadn't mentioned Markus to her family, and especially not the whole topless scenario. As her brain took a moment to work it out, something click, the only thing that could tell him that. As realisation slowly dawn on her, her face contorted in rage, she began shaking and turning red.
"YOU READ MY DIARY!!"
She practically roared, slamming her hands on the table hard, glasses of juice being knocked over spilling juice everywhere. Her hands began to glow with white light. Sebastian stood, getting into a fighting stand of his own. The two had never actually come to real blows before, they had trained together, but that was it.
