Romantic Dinner [Mission][Naraku X Oblivion]

Naraku had sat in silence. She too was confused by her new form and how her memories seemed even stranger than they were before. They were less jumbled up, but also there were more of them. As far as she could tell she was 15 years old and either she had lived the most active life ever or her current age was not her true age. The memories she gained since her Mother's death were clear, but these others were not. She could not tell when they had occured or how. There were many memories of her current form, but she had only been in this form a short while so it was impossible that these memories could be real. When D'Nalsta, or Godfreed as she was supposed to call him for this task, left she rose to her feet slowly and nodded to the man. She looked down at the wolf beside her. 1m tall and 2m long and this was small compared to his actual form.

"Let's go too Fluffy." she said quietly. The wolf nodded and rose to his feet with a yawn before walking out of the door with Naraku following. Her body was strange. She'd suddenly been thrust from a 12 year old body to a 15 year old body. That was strange enough, but what was truly strange was the level of control she had over this form. Normally, if you're body changed drastically then it took a bit of getting used to, but she felt she had greater control over this form than her previous. What was strange was that the gaining of this form, which had come at the slaying of one of the Great Demons had gained her knowledge of spells suited to this power without any training. It was if she already had the information and it was just locked away. It was truly strange. She had to train for the wind magic, but not for her Hell Slayer. Very strange indeed.

Once outside she headed through the street, her hips swaying, her hair billowing and her breasts bouncing. Her target was the school and eventually, shortly after the arrival of D'Nalsta, she arrived. She looked at him for a moment. Now she was in this form she had different urges. She still saw him as a father in his normal form, but in this form there was definitely some appeal. It was an emotion she didn't understand. Even her jumbled up memories contained little information in reference to this. Just what could it mean? She took a deep breath as she looked at the building. It was light out which was good, but the school still had a dark aura. An aura she found slightly appealing, but also distressing. She knew instinctively that when night fell it would truly be dark in there. She was still scared of the dark, but not as much as before.

"Shall we start then?" she said offhandedly. Between the three of them she was sure she could handle this or so she hoped. The main issue was that the principle had to be captured rather than just defeated. That meant they couldn't kill. She was good at keeping people alive, but generally they would rather be dead. If she used her normal methods than the darkness of the guild might be revealed. She would have to be careful.

'Monster Dice' :

The man known for now as Godfreed had turned to her momentarily before entering the gates. It wasn't obvious, at least not unless you knew the man, but there was a slight sense of reluctance or dismay as he pushed opened the gates. It was almost as if he was wishing he didn't have to do this. Or perhaps that it didn't need to be done at all. Yet this look changed to one of almost pleasure as he stepped through the gates. She followed suit and a shudder of pleasure went up the spines of both her and her pet. The dark aura was so thick here. It was almost as if she could taste it. Being raised in Hell by a Hell demon and possessing the dark magic of the Hell Demon Slayer she truly was at home in areas with a dark aura and Fluffy was a demon. This was a home away from home for him. The wolf had a slight grin on his face.

"Haven't felt an aura like this in a while, not since I was back in Hell." he said casually with a slight growl. She nodded to this with a sad and thoughtful expression on her face. An expression that was triggered by the aura and his words. Images swelled up in her head once more. Most of them memories that made no sense or were so jumbled with others that they made no sense. However, one stood out in her mind clearly. The death of her mother by her hands. It was more a memory of emotions and senses than a true memory though. The feeling of power, of fear, of her hand slicing the throat. She shuddered, this time not in pleasure. The sooner they finished this mission the better. It was stirring up memories that she did not want stirred. No, they were memories she wanted to forget. She knew she would never truly forget them though. Fluffy nudged her with his head and she stroked his soft fur. It was much more reassuring than his old scaly form. "Sorry Nara. I wasn't thinking." She shook her head.

"Whether you said the words or not...those memories would come back." she said half to herself and half to him. "This place may be haunted by spirits or demons, but they are nothing compared to the memories that haunt me." With those words spoken the two followed Godfreed/D'Nalsta in silence. There was nothing more that needed to be said. The size of the school was truly amazing. The children here were very privelaged it seemed. Either that or the school spent way too much money on making it look fancy and not enough on education. That seemed more likely to her, but she didn't comment. No, right now she was too focused on controlling her own emotions and her memories. The memories needed to be suppressed and locked away behind doors in her mind. One day she would be able to open them and face them, but it wasn't today. No, it was definitely not today.

As she tried to suppress these memories the guildmaster began speaking of plans to split up. It seemed a wise decision. Their target was a single individual and in a building this size there must be hundreds, if not thousands, of places to hide. As she was about to agree and head off he changed his mind. The spirits possessing the children were not normal ones or so he said. As a Great Demon he knew far more about spirits and demons than even her who was raised by one. He mentioned a single name. A single name that she recognized. Anastasia. Another of the great demons. There were originally seven of them, one for each sin, but they had been reduced to six. Well, sort of. The power of the demon of Wrath still existed within D'Nalsta. Anastasia was definitely the name of one of them though she couldn't remember which. It didn't matter which she was. What mattered was the fact she was interfering here and with her power those they were fighting would be much more difficult to defeat.

Her heightened sense of smell picked up the scent of those approaching slightly before D'Nalsta told her. "I know." she replied and prepared herself. Whilst they could excuse the death of a few students with the right lies they could not excuse damage to the building. Precise attacks would be necessary rather than brute force. Her sense of smell picked up twelve individuals each of them bathed in a dark aura. "Fluffy stay back for now" she said calmly and took a deep breath. Defeating so many targets without permanent harm to them would be difficult. From the smell of it they were all armed as well. There was a slight tang of iron with a hint of rust. Yes, each of them wielded small knives. An odd tool for a school kid in such a school and one which made things all the more difficult. The corridor wasn't that wide. If the death of twelve teenagers was allowed she would of taken them all out instantly, but that was not the case.

They weren't moving yet. They were watching and waiting. Some had pulled out their knives and were idly tossing them from one hand to the other, whilst others were just watching. They were like coiled springs. All they needed was something to set them off and they would hit with force. She formed a needle of shadow and placed it in the shadow of her cleavage where it vanished. "Hell Demon's Speed." she said and dark energy flooded her muscles. Her brute strength was decreased, but her already near superhuman speed was now increased further. Speed would be key here. She lunged forward suddenly and that was when the kids struck out at her. However, what they weren't expecting was what the needle was for.

"Hell Demon's tendrils." From out of her cleavage ten massive tendrils emerged. All of them were not going for stabbing motions, but to restrain. This would cut into them slightly, but not cause a lot of pain. The good thing was that in such a small area they couldn't dodge her too well. Particularly as they were trying to attack her and were caught by surprise. Mostly by tendrils, but also by the speed she appeared amongst them at. Naraku did not rely purely on these though and launched out four punches. These were of course more blockable.

When Naraku first went into the fight she had been worried that the boost provided by Anastasia would of also given them knowledge and magical ability. However, whilst they possessed a dark aura it seemed they did not possess any magic. All of them pulled out their knives as she appeared between them. The speed of her movement was truly great in this form, a full 40% greater. Of course, there was a downside to this form, which was a loss of strength, but in this case strength wasn't too important because it was her tendrils that were doing the work. The kids physical abilities were much greater than she'd anticipated and two of them managed to dodge her tendrils. In order to throw them off she retracted the tendrils. This, however, did not give her any real disadvantage. Instead it gave her greater control. This greater control allowed her to hit two of the teens into a wall before holding them there with two of the 20ft tendrils. They were held lightly. Breaking out was possible, but the strike against the wall and the slight cutting from the tendrils had knocked the wind out of them. They wouldn't be acting for a while. However, the anger provided by this and the lack of tendrils to defend with had allowed one of the kids to get in a single strike. This one in particular seemed to have a high level of skill because after striking he leapt back avoiding her tendrils. Seeing this the other kids attacked with renewed vigor, but the single attack had caused Naraku to become more careful and the rest of the attacks were blocked. Yes, they attacked and were stopped by tendrils of shadow. The kids had more skill than she anticipated, or some of them did. Perhaps Anastasia had awakened some hidden potential within them or something. Yes, some definitely had more skill than the others. Four of them in fact. The other four remaining ones had joined their comrades pinned against a wall. With Naraku's skill with the tendrils she held all six with just two tendrils, one on each side. The other eight had retracted.

Of course, with Naraku using the tendrils like this she was limited as the Tendrils were only 20ft. However, she had enough room. The remaining four students put up a good fight against her and managed to block the punches she launched. Yet one was hit by one of them and sent rolling backwards the knife knocked from her hand. Not enough to knock her unconscious unfortunately. If Naraku wasn't in speed mode than perhaps it would of been. For now it was enough to disarm and distract. Hopefully, they could find a way to remove Anastasia's influence and then lock them away for a while until the rest of the mission was complete. That was her hope. Otherwise they would have to be knocked unconscious and bound. The knocking unconscious didn't bother her, but the binding did. This was a school after all. Where would they find binding equipment strong enough?

At the words that they should be killed because removing the dark aura would be difficult she shook her head. Removing the dark aura would be easy. She looked at the final students, the other still living. She raised a hand and without any real effort extended a single tendril from her sleeve. This was not designed as an attack and it stopped short of the children. However, from this tendril seven more would emerge and all would try to stab or grab them. Seven tendrils all 20ft long and able to combine with eachother to increase their length. The teenagers did not stand a chance. However, they would put up a fight and charge in trying to weave amongst her tendrils and stab at her. Only one managed to get close, but after blocking the attack with the tendril they too were pinned against the wall with the others. One of them was stabbed entirely, but eight in total were pinned against the wall by her two tendrils. All were struggling and cursing, but none were escaping. Every time they got close she simply increased the pressure.

"Time for the dark aura to dissapear." she said and walked up to each child in turn and used two tendrils to hold them in place whilst she bit into their neck. However, she was not a vampire. She was not draining them of their blood. No, she was drinking in the dark aura that filled their bodies. The first one fell unconcious instantly and the rest began to make weird noises. Very strange noises. Similar to 'keko keko'. However, they were not strong enough to escape and each one was drained. However, as the last one became drained the first vanished. She stared at it in shock. She had been expecting the dark aura removal to simply turn them back to normal. However, it seemed that the dark aura had possessed them for too long. One after another they vanished. All twelve were now gone.

It seemed that the strange chant had been a summoning of some kind as from doors down the hall two adults emerged. Neither possessed a strong enough dark aura to be considered for being the principle. Yet they were not alone. Six more of the teenagers came running down the halls and from an air vent on the ceiling a small child dropped. Nine opponents in total. Two of which were pretty powerful. The tendrils had been retracted, but she still had control of them. She stood there waiting and watching. She wanted to know what they would do.

The waiting period seemed mutual on each side for now and it gave Naraku time to think. Anastasia was the demon of Avarice/Greed depending on your personal preference. D'Nalsta seemed worried as well. His words about the greed demonic energy were both fascinating and irritating. It made the opponents that much more irksome to deal with. However, she did enjoy a challenge. "Will these ones disappear as well?" she asked him offhandedly. "If they will....then tell me this. What's the penalty for damaging the building?" Four of her attacks could end these almost instantly, but both would also likely damage the building. Naraku was not exhausted at all. The dark aura absorbed from the teenagers had refueled her.

So damaging the building was out of the question. Irritating to say the least and she stomped her foot once to show that irritation. She watched in awe and pleasure as he ran in and with little damage taken took out two of their opponents a teenager and a teacher. That narrowed their opponents down from nine to a mere seven. Still quite a few. However, now she knew saving them, and thus gaining gratitude for that, was out of the question a sadistic smile came onto her face. She had not been trying to save the children for her own benefit. No, that was not in her nature. She had merely been trying to save them so that they would seem like 'heroes' to the town or more so than they would for simply capturing the principle. Yes, it was all a calculated plot. Plus, she was curious as to whether she COULD absorb the demonic aura of these people. It was not something she had tried and it had been successful. Yes, now she knew something else she was capable of. It also allowed her intimate knowledge of the dark aura that was the great demon Anastasia. Now she could tell the difference between her aura and that of D'Nalsta. A useful skill. Or so she felt.


As the sadistic smile came onto her face she charged forward. Her tendrils would not last much longer and with D'Nalsta in the way things would be difficult if she attacked from this side. However, she used her wind magics inherent flight ability to twirl past him and the others. She was now on the other side of the group and had an open field to attack them. They turned in surprise, but their surprise was short lived as ten tendrils shot towards them. Her aim was to kill them all in one fell swoop. These were not aiming to grab. No, these were aiming to stab and slice.

It seemed though that either the opponents had been watching or somehow knew how she fought because most of her attacks were dodged causing her to blink. The child managed to crawl under the attacks and tried to bite at her exposed leg, but she simply leapt over him. Unfortunately, this put her into the path of five teenagers and whilst she was able to block three of their attacks, two of them stabbed into her causing a level of pain she had not experienced in a while. However, rather than showing sign of pain her entire expression seemed to be one of pleasure. The tendrils faded away, their time limit used up and she leapt back causing the daggers to be pulled out of her and her wounds to stream red like a fountain.

The teacher did not join in the assault against Naraku. No, their attention was entirely on the powerful demon. His disguise had hidden him from the power of avarice, but now he was exposed. Whilst Anastasia herself wasn't here there seemed to be, in the case of the faculty member, a built in program to respond to the presence of great demons. This presence caused the faculty members attention to be entirely on D'Nalsta.

All this time Fluffy just sat and watched. He was not needed yet. In fact, in such a small environment he could not do much. His small form was not really suited to battle against such opponents and his large form was far too big to be effective. He was, for the moment, just an observe. Should she need it he was also able to provide her with a weapon, but judging by the way the battle was progressing it would not be necessary. He barked in joy as he watched them fall and growled in anger as his master or her 'daddy' were hit by attacks. He wanted to interfere so much, but he knew he would just be in the way.

A tingling sensation began to flow through her muscles. She bit her lip in annoyance. Soon her demonic speed would wear off and she would be a lot slower. There was only one thing for it. She would have to start by weakening her opponents. She looked at fluffy and winked. The wolf nodded and ran off. Where he was going was only known to him, naraku and any mind readers that happened to be about. She leapt backwards, flying over the small child once more. She focused dark energy to her lips and began to whistle. The whistle started off normally, but soon reached a pitch which would damage the ears of anyone within 30ft of her, aka all the remaining opponents, and cause loss of balance and disorientation. With a slight grin of satisfaction she charged in dark energy forming on each hand into the shape of claws.

Her opponents were still recovering from the disorientation so dodging would be a lot more difficult for them and retaliation also. This would be the last chance for a while that she could use her enhanced speed and she intended to use it well. Her aim was to launch a flurry of attacks at the teens cutting them to pieces and kick the child sending him flying.

Her flurry of attacks were too much for the teens and four of them were torn to shreds. In the midst of her flurry they swung out trying to hit her and one was successful. However, one was also a complete failure and actually hit one of the other teens in the neck killing him. All five teenagers had been killed. The small child had been sent flying by the power of her kick and hit a wall hard. Not enough to kill, but enough for him to be unconcious. She walked over to the child, demonic energy still flowing through her hands, and devoured the dark aura killing the child instantly. The only opponent left now was the teacher, which it seemed D'Nalsta had well under control.
(No dice were rolled for Hell Demon's whistle as it is an area of effect ability and if you are in that area you are hit.)

All of their current opponents had fallen in rather brutal ways in the case of some. 21 people, all killed because one demon decided to take them over. Of course, it was the principal's fault for messing around with such things, but still it was irritating. "They were no fun." she said half to herself as she devoured the aura from all of the dead around them. "They were robbed of their emotions...and they became just objects...not even worthy of being called toys." This was an odd statement from one such as her and even she seemed confused by it. Her memories were playing up once more. Things like this, where people became just pieces on a board...felt so familiar. She was about to make a further comment when she froze.

D'Nalsta spoke to her, but she said nothing for now and merely sniffed the air instead. She'd felt the aura for sure, but now she was trying to identify it. The devouring of so much dark aura from these others had heightened her sense for auras even more. She knew now what a teenager's aura, what a child's aura, what a teacher's aura felt and smelt like. "Another teacher, two more kids and four more teens. The principal is getting closer, but he hasn't come yet." she said and at this point, as if to confirm her words, Fluffy came running down the hall with four teenagers and a teacher running after him. The two children emerged from a ventilation duct. The only tricky opponent once more was the teacher. "Let's lure them outside so we can go all out." she suggested. Fluffy nodded and once he joined her barked a derogatory comment towards Anastasia and dashed off with Naraku on his tail. Whether D'Nalsta would follow or not was another manner, but in the case of the enemies...all of them except the teacher would follow unless intercepted. The teacher's pre-program would cause it to go after d'nalsta.

Naraku decided ,as the building would likely get a bit damaged regardless of whether or not she was outside, to speed up her leaving by diving straight through a window. She got a few scratches, but they were nothing compared to what her opponents would get. Fluffy followed and soon as he did howled loudly and began to glow changing to his full size. A much more useful ally. She extended her arm into fluffy's mouth and pulled out her favourite weapon, her scythe known as Ripper. "Ready to gorge yourself Ripper?" she asked the scythe almost affectionately at the 4 teenagers leapt out through the window. The two children crawled out, but kept their distance. Well, not so much kept their distance but edged around as if going to attack from behind.

The howl had unfortunately alerted a larger group of individuals. Not what she had expected, but it would mean she could cleanse the school of Greed quicker. She quickly spun the scythe in a complex pattern charging it with dark energy before launching three discs of dark energy. However, within the attack was also a needle of shadow. The true attack. The saws would do some damage, but the needle...well the needle could wipe them all out instantly.

The new opponents had not yet arrived properly on the battlefield so had not yet launched an attack and the children were still positioning themselves so the only ones that attacked were the four original teenagers. They seemed smarter than before as they managed to dodge her saw. Well, all but one of them who was cut in two killing him instantly. They got in close, but she blocked their assault and managed to dodge one causing him to stab his friend in the neck.

The new opponents included 8 more teenagers, 2 more children and a teacher. No sign of the principal yet, but his aura was growing stronger and closer with each death. These numbers however, were cut down very quickly by her secret attack the shadow flower. Only two, the teacher and a child, managed to avoid it (and the child only because he wasn't quite in position). 8 teenagers and a child fell to that attack.

Fluffy had decided to deal with the weakest enemies quickest and had attacked the children and remaining teens. The children fell to his onslaught, but two of the teens remained alive. The teacher was still standing and seemed slightly confused at her being there and not D'Nalsta. Possibly because of the strong demonic aura she was filled with. "Is it time for the boss fight yet? I'm tired of playing with these wimps." Naraku grumbled though she knew the teacher could pose her a slightly challenge. Though with Fluffy and Ripper, as well as Stabber, which she hadn't used, she could do a lot of damage.
