my sun...
The blue eyed girl padded her way through the forest of the training area. This had been her first time in the said training area and the girl was slightly intrigued about it all. How the entire place seemed slightly glowing with magic and the trees that grew there were twisted around themselves in a pattern that would tell the tale of the history of the place. The small girl could only stare in awe as her surroundings as she continued farther into the forest. She had heard stories of the place, whispered from person to person about how the area was filled with magical beasts and that these beasts would cause a realistic training.
Her blue eyes glimmered in the barely lit foliage, like stars glistening in her eyes, the minimal light reflected and gave her citrine blue eyes a more white and teal colour. She had placed herself into the situation wearing, a tight black tank-top that extended a bit farther up her neck like a turtleneck and cut off right above her belly button, dark red elastic shorts that ended right below her butt and and allowed for her to easily move, black tennis shoes that were snug around her feet, and braces on both of her ankles. She was planning to use the training grounds today and work herself until night.
The grass under her feet silently bent as the girl wandered through the woods, she was quieter than a move, sound almost nothing as the girl continued forwards. Her blonde hair trailed after her, slightly snagging here and there on twigs and branches of the plants around her, the sounds of the snagging and the moving plants was the only thing that was making noise.
Being alone in the towering and winding trees allowed for the girl to think a bit. She had honestly just come back from her travels or self discovery, learning who she was, who the angel was who inhabited her, why the angel had done this, and what she was supposed to be doing now. Surprisingly out of all of that the girl found that the angel had no interest in her life and would probably not interfere, allowing Aliannah to live out the life that she had promised herself she would once she got out of the hospital, if she got out of the hospital. Alyia, the angel living in her body, had informed her of her past as a child and who she was, but there was always something missing at the very end. How had the angel come to the point where she wanted to give her life away to a girl that simply had no hope and was waiting for death in a hospital bed.
Though it mattered to the girl now, there was little she could do about it. She was at the whim of the angel.
A small crack in the woods drew the petite girl from her thoughts. There was something there that wasn't her.
Taking in a deep breath the girl reached for the small charm that she had wrapped around her neck. She easily snapped the charm from the necklace that it resided on, but made no movement to break the charm itself. She was going to wait and hold on until she absolutely had to.
Pulling her bottom lip into her mouth and between her teeth the girl finally took a step forwards towards where the sound might be. In the words of being stealthy, the girl was top notch. She could go nearly anywhere and not be heard. Her magic would barely give her away as it seemed like she was either a D-Rank mage or she was just a normal person. Biting on her bottom lip the girl placed her hand on a near by tree and peeked her head around to the other side to see what was there and making that noise.
There only feet away from her was a beast that was most certainly twice her size and probably more than that of her weight. The beast had four legs and grazed at the large leafy foliage that was eagerly growing around them. Aliannah was not a person to cause harm to something that didn't deserve it and most certainly not to something that hadn't attacked her first.
So the girl just watched the beast. It was seeming to do no harm to anyone, but it was interesting to watch none-the-less. Taking a few more moments the girl continued to observe the animal in motion, it seemed to be un bothered. A small smile bloomed across the face of the girl and she moved to finally step away from the beast. She backed away just a quietly as she had come and moved to go in another direction. She wanted to see more. Sure this was a training ground, but the girl saw that there was nothing here but magical beasts that worked to survive. She was not going to harm them unless they were harming someone else.
The leaves and foliage brushed against her legs as the girl moved in a new direction, she was going to see more. But she would probably see much better at a higher altitude. This was true. Nodding to herself the girl moved to find a tree that she could sit in and view the forest.
Foot and foot the girl traveled. Over fallen branches and vines that aimed to reach out and tangle your feet. It didn't take her long until she found the place that she wanted to be, a large tree that seemed to be a main part of the canopy that covered her head. Perfect. With a pep in her step the girl agilely moved towards the base of the tree. She could climb her way up, or she could fly. But her wings in this forest was probably not the best thing. So the girl placed her hand to the tree and began her climb.
...shines for you
