Markus took a deep breath, the kind which moved your entire body and reached deep into your soul. It was early in the morning, the sun was just starting to rise, iridescent lines crossed into the air and through the clouds.
Leaning back Markus put both hands over his head, crossing his fingers at the nape of his neck, the top of his head barely touched the tree he was seeking shelter under. He signed, in the distance he heard the pattering of feet, the drone of trains, and the distant mumble of conversation, the words unknown to him.
Markus found himself once more in Oshibana, one of the most important train stations in Fiore. He had just finished some work he had, and was on his way back to the guild. Though, his train did not leave for a few more hours.
While sitting in the darkness he could feel his old friend, his companion sitting next to him. Though Hela was hidden within his shadow, he knew she was always at his side. As always he felt more comfortable in darkness, in shadow, it felt like an extension to his body.
Markus kept his eyes close as he felt the breeze of the morning air, it felt nice, despite the warmth that was starting to come from the sunrise.
He would enjoy a few more hours before he had to head back.
