Job Title: Monster Hunt: Cataphract Raptor
    Rank: A
Player Requirements: At least one A-rank mage or the equivalent; Must be of Onyx Moon
Job Requirements: 10.000 Words Solo + 4.000 words for every additional Player
    Job Location: Tolgalen
    Job Description:

Every year the West Fiore Trading Company sends out hunting parties of mages deep into the jungles and steppes of Tolgalen and it looks like it’s that time of the year once again. Why you ask ? Well, the answer to that is as intriguing as it is horrifying to most: Gigantic Raptors. A species of magical beasts called Cataphract Raptors, to be exact.
Every year the population of these enormous, destructive reptiles that exclusively call the wilds of Tolgalen their home explodes after their mating season due to somewhat of a lack of enough natural predators, so much so in fact that they threaten to overrun some of the more populated areas around Tolgalen’s inland settlements and disrupt the natural balance. You (and your partners) have been selected by the higher ups of the West Fiore Trading Company or perhaps even volunteered to make up one of the parties to cull the herd of gargantuan lizards. This, naturally, will not be an easy task, as the Raptors are classed as extremely dangerous, especially the larger ones, but the Company offers a handsome bounty. Additionally, the rare feathers of these magical beasts are rumored to have strong magical properties, although currently not much is known about their effect.

    Enemies:

    Weak:
    25x Raptor Hatchling:
These relatively young specimen aren’t even close to reaching adulthood, but are already deadly predators. Standing at a height of approximately 7 feet (~2 m), they are equipped with razor sharp teeth and claws these beasts are fearsome especially in larger groups, not leastly also due to their fast speed of around 80 mph (~130 km/h). They deal C-rank damage with their attacks and take C-rank damage to take out individually. These relatively small but quick reptiles will try to swarm the player and overwhelm them with numbers, scratching and biting to deal whatever damage they can.

    Normal:
    10x Raptor Skirmishers:
These Raptors are older than the hatchlings, bigger, but also slower, standing at a good 15 feet (~4.5 m) with a speed of around 60 mph (~95 km/h), equipped with the same claws and teeth as their younger counterparts, only larger. Additionally, these specimen have matured enough to develop the ability to spew a highly corrosive acid from specialized glands in their mouths, using the substance to engage enemies from distances of up to around ~150 feet (~45 m), preferring to stay at a distance and weaken their enemies substantially before attacking in a similar way to the hatchlings. Their acid burns through most materials and deals B-rank damage while they can take 2 B-rank hits before going down each, their thick hide offering a little protection from attacks.

    Strong:
    5x Raptor Chargers:
There gigantic reptiles are truly monstrous, dreadful magical beasts. They have reached maturity and are fully grown, standing at a good 30 feet (~9 m) in height, their huge bodies covered in thick, boney plates and spikes. They bear teeth like daggers and huge claws reminiscent of sharp swords, able to rip through most things they encounter, but prefer to, as the name implies, charge their enemies at speeds of around 50 mph (~80 km/h), ramming them with their gargantuan bodies to deal maximum damage and crush them. They don’t care what’s in the way and will even crash through the massive trees of Tolgalen’s jungles to attack their prey, easily pushing aside all in their path to reach it. They deal A-rank damage with their attacks, and take 3x A-rank damage to take down each.

    Boss:
    Raptor Broodmother:
A gargantuan beast of enormous size, the largest and oldest Raptor of a herd, easily identified as it towers above all other raptors, reaching around 50 feet (~15 m) in height. This beast is so large that it’s sheer size is indicative of the threat this reptile poses, and it looks like you’re having really bad luck stumbling over one as they are rather rare. It’s body is covered in countless battle scars that tell a tale of a long and harsh life, it’s fearsome claws and teeth reminiscent of large longswords, and with each step this monstrosity shakes the ground, it’s bestial, booming roar able to have even battle hardened warriors shake in their boots. It’s enormous body is covered, head to toe, in a thick, boney exoskeleton-like plate armor that simply deflects attacks by weapons such as arrows or blades, it’s head decorated with colourful feathers. Regardless of that it is still able to reach the same speed as the chargers while delivering even more powerful charges with it’s ramming attacks. Additionally, the Broodmother can spew a stream of extremely dangerous acid over a distance of around 500 feet (~150 m) that will melt everything it touches. Truly a foe to behold, the Broodmother deals 2x A-rank damage with each attack, taking 6x A-rank damage before going down.

    Reward:
Upon completion of the task every player will receive a reward of:
    1. 70k jewels
    2. Additionally, if the players defeated the Boss and took one of its feathers they will receive 1x Colourful Raptor Feather. This feather has the ability to neutralize any acid or poison it touches and cure a wide range of illnesses, harmful or undesirable magical effects and ailments in an instant, but is lost in the process (RP only, cannot be used in PvP).
