Superheroes, and Sirens, A Supreme Summoner Symposium with A Kick of Soul! (Job w/ Aoi and Rosabell)

Sigurd had been perturbed in recent nights by visions of his brother Victor. Though at once he had managed to perform feats of a magic meant to counter Victor's, it seems the power had not returned to him. What had returned to him was his sinister visions, however. The mage was not sure if his brother was actively tormenting him or if it was his own brain playing tricks, but almost every night now, Victor appeared in his dreams, bathed in the light of the fire that burned down their home so many years ago. Either way, Sigurd had heard about a strange crystalline structure located in Ace of Spades. Sigurd had been there once before to investigate the tomb of a dead pirate, and currently the coat he had picked up from that very tomb was in the possession of a tailor. Although he didn't have that at his disposal currently, what he did have was a new friend.

Tchaik raised his eyes to show that he was happy to be with his owner, and chirped as it gently floated around his person. Meanwhile, Sigurd was striding down the dirt road to Ace of Spades, having donned his signature Darknight Armor. His blade, Gilgamesh, trusty as ever, was by his side. Sigurd, at this point, was used to villagers being afraid of him when he first showed up. Soon enough, however, they warmed up to the 6'3" man in the skull-themed armor, and directed him towards the crystal. The purple gem was lodged inside a giant black pillar. Certainly, it was as imposing as the man who was now looking at it, right hand strocking his armored chin. When he had first accepted the job from an unknown benefactor to investigate the properties of the crystal, he had done some reading. Apparently there were rumors that this structure was the source of some powerful magic, though those had never been confirmed by any measures. Truthfully, it seems that the crystal had served as a point of tourism, but in recent years, the tourism had died down, hence why the town was willing to participate in the exploration of the crystal's properties.

Sigurd knew that two others would be joining him, but he had never met either. He was interested in seeing what kind of people they were. Tchaik tittered as it gleefully floated around the crystal structure, clearly not understanding what the duo was doing there, but having enjoyed the journey enough that it didn't really mind.

Sakura's journey from her guild hall out to the Ace of Spades was a little longer than one could expect it to be. Sure, the idea mode of transportation would have been a car or carriage, but there was an alternative purpose to doing so in the time she'd be away from the hall. Recently, she'd been surprised for a late birthday present in the form of a new doll body. Ever since the ambushed attack of Nightmare and Nyx having shattered the old one, there was a period of time where she had spent as the secondary person, which gave her a little respect as to her position when she was in such a position. This journey on foot was to get her used to the body again and the differences between this one and the prior ones she had been in. This new body was more modernized than the priors. Her body looked to be more human like, flexible even. The former ball socket joints were more nimble, able to move exactly as so without showing the obvious look of them anymore. Among other things, she was about a foot taller than before... which considering her prior height was 3 feet, an extra foot in height wouldn't be much different, aside from some added length if she were to be held at some point.

Along with her in this journey was her small companion Krystal, a snow white colored six-tailed fox. Cupped in the arms of the doll, Sakura approached the town after a couple easy days of walking. Only keeping food and drink in a small bag to feed the small fox, she had no need or desire to feed herself in that body. Her whole purpose to being in here, for this mission specifically was very simple; a small favor. Being old friends with Desiree, she'd been asked to help go on a job with a couple of her members. Partly her for trust between two guilds, but other parts that were because Sakura was known to be one to sit back and be more extroverted on most days. However, this way, she could get out, meet some new people, and have some kind of fun. Not to mention it was for a friend, so who would she be to not uphold both a personal, and a guild beneficial task? An idiot.

As the doll entered the city, she had asked around the town about the crystal she was asked to investigate, as well as if anyone else had come around to ask as well. After a few people whom either ignored her, didn't know, or even just had little clue. A couple in between had given her enough that maybe one person had been asking around and quickly headed off to go meet with them. If anything, they were one of Desiree's members and the tension of meeting them would be lighter, however for this moment she wasn't sure. Approaching the crystal after a little walking, she found a suited man standing by it. Around the crystal was some strange egg floating as though it was either bored or investigating it on its own. "Excuse me. Are you here looking about this crystal?" She asked, approaching the suited man. "Desi sent you from Crystal Swan, right?" She wondered, guessing the man was, though from the normally intimidating appearance of his armor, he may as well just be a town guardsman or a dark guild member that she had just nonchalantly approached to talk to.

Ace of Spades was a place that Rosabell had visited only a few times in her numerous travels, of course none of those visits were for any important reason, other than sightseeing and lodging for a day or two. However today was different, she actually had a reason for being in the city, an extremely important reason in her opinion. Rumors had been spreading around about a strange crystal appearing in the Ace of Spades area, eventually the rumors reached the guildhall and more than a few members had wanted to investigate it. With enough begging and puppy dog eyes, the others eventually relented and let her have this one, although begrudgingly. Rosabell would've been fine with some of them going with her, but apparently two other mages were already on the case and adding more than one extra would've been too much, especially since one of the was from Crystal Swan already.

Rosabell had wasted no time with preparation, simply throwing on a tee-shirt and jeans before sprouting a set of wings and flying away. However now that she thought about it, flying probably wasn't the smartest idea as it wasn't exactly a clear day when she left, and it's basically a law of nature that you don't go flying if it's going to rain anytime soon. Of course that didn't really stop her from leaving, it just slowed down the process by a lot due to her having to stop and dry her wings every time they got too wet. Any normal person would've just taken a car or airship, but Rosabell was far from normal which wasn't always a good thing, especially when it came to lose-lose scenarios like flying with feathery wings in a rainstorm.

Nonetheless Rosabell would eventually arrive at her location, even scaring a few people with her suddenly crash-landing in the middle of town whilst panting tiredly, thankfully and ironically almost as soon as she neared the town the raincloud seemed to stay behind making it a pretty clear shot when it came to landing in the square. Deciding to not prolong the crystal quest any longer, she began to ask around about the recently famous crystal immediately being told its location and that two other mages had already asked about it earlier. Without a second of hesitation she had headed towards the designated location with a pep in her step, finding the crystal in a strange black pillar with two people standing by it, whom she assumed were her partners in crime.

One was a tall man donned in a skull themed armor, while a strange little egg-like creature floated around the crystal in seeming inquisition, the other was an extremely small girl, holding what seemed to be a white floofy thing in her arms which Rosabell couldn't get a full visual on due to her back being turned. It seemed that they weren't familiar with each other yet, as the girl was asking a question about the man being from crystal swan. Deciding to make her presence known she would speak up rather abruptly, hoping that she didn't scare anybody by doing so.

"Uhm..hey there! I assume you two are also investigating the crystal? I'm from Crystal Swan, but I don't really know about tall, dark, and scary over there." She would say while gesturing to the tall imposing man in armor.

Sigurd was startled to hear the voice from behind him. As he spun around to respond he was met with a figure who was a good two feet or more shorter than himself. Startled by the words coming from the individual and their appearance, he let down his fearsome guise for a few moments and let a few words eject from his esophagus. "A m-midg--- er--- I mean--- I didn't mean to--- I mean--- you should refer to her as M-Mistress B-Blooms--- unless y-you--- I g-guess--- guess if you know her personally I sh-shouldn't--- I mean---," finally he took a deep breath and regained his composure. "Pardon me, I was simply caught off guard. You are correct in your assumption that I was sent by Mistress Blooms. I am Darknight, of Crystal Swan, Superhero, and Defender of the Void. I've been sent here to Ace of Spades in order to assist you and one of my comrades, who should be arriving shortly, in the investigation of this crystal. This young being is Tchaik," as his name was called, the egg let out a quizzical purr, "Pay it no mind, I've simply taken it under my wing, so to speak. I assure that he won't get in the way of the mission." As Sigurd was saying this the egg began to float over to the canine creature in the arms of the other mage.

Sigurd's attention was diverted from this scene when the other partner of the trio arrived. He recognized her from around the guild hall. However, the same could not be said for the other way around, as it would seem, this information being made clear to the "Defender of the Void" when she came up with a nickname for him that was decidedly a strange mixture of flattering, offensive, and quite factual. Though he was irritated at both not being recognized and being spoken about so dismissively, he responded to Rosa, "I am--- screw it. I'm from Crystal Swan as well, the names Darknight, and the Egg's name is Tchaik," he said gesturing towards the last spot he had seen his shelled companion, but when he looked towards where he was gesturing, he noted that Tchaik was nowhere to be seen. He rotated his head in search of Tchaik, only to see it tap its feathered tip against the crystalline structure, before being enveloped in light and disappearing, seemingly being sucked into the shiny rock. It seemed as though his poor pet's magic had activated some process in the crystal.

"TCHAIK! NO!" Sigurd yelled, before diving into the crystal.

The Crystal Swan summoner found himself in a strange and eerie dimension. It appeared that wherever he was had once been populated with a lush forest, brimming with diverse wildlife. However, some major event seemed to have destroyed every single living thing on this plane, and the aura around him was oppressive, almost as if this world was putting pressure on itself to stunt any wildlife that tried to reclaim their former ground. Curious, Sigurd attempted to summon Plant, one of his heroes made entirely of plant matter. Despite the fact that none of Sigurd's summons usually acted up, Plant refused to appear. What did appear, however was a woman with purple hair, donning some strange dress.

"You have to collect twelve crystals and combine them, then bring them to the core of this wold and free my creator. She will send you home with no resistance at all. But the crystals are found in twelve separate areas, I can teleport you directly to them, that much will be easy. However... each crystal is embedded into a powerful entity that we will need to kill. Once dead, I can remove the crystals but it will take longer if the entities are alive... mostly because they will be trying to kill you. I noted that you are a summoner. Though you can summon your heroes here and return them, you cannot use your spatial magic to escape this place. Now, prepare for battle."

"Wait, have you seen an egg, one with---" before Sigurd could finish, he felt a powerful wind, and felt his strength draining. He turned to see a terrible beast emerging from the dead tree trunks. He drew his sword, hoping that his companions had arrived alongside him.

From the very moment she had heard the uttered partial word of midget, her eyes shot into a very dagger happy glare aimed at the suited man. Despite how tall or short she may have been, a "midget" wasn't one of the most liked things she was ever called. Though that may have been due to having to look up at people for most of her life. Be it from a wheelchair or in the body of a doll, this wasn't much of the time or place for her to be acting out towards others. With a small sigh, she let loose the glaring stare and averted her eyes while the stuttering suit of armor continued his rambling on. Hearing the way he addressed Desiree made her look back up to the suited mage with an odd look. She was a little thrown off by the way he adamantly referred to her as "Mistress" and so much so that he wanted to push that off on her as well. While normally, she might have chewed him out for it, Sakura simply chuckled and smirked, shaking her head. "I have known Desi since before she even created Crystal Swan. The very fact you are rather form with addressing her is at least something that makes me want to punch you in the throat a little less." Her reply, though a little cold and brute was met with the subconscious laughing of the Yokai, who apparently found her to be a little more humorous than usual.

"Fuckin' brutal, kid. I wish you were like that more often with people."
"Put a sock in it, will you? If you had your way, we'd likely have to hide behind that fluffy tail of Izayuki's to hide from most of Fiore with your brash manners."

With just a minor shrug, her mental argument came to a halt as it usually did when she just wanted her to settle down. His introductions, though seeming to be self given, ego inflating titles, her attention focused more on the little floating egg thing that he had introduced to her. It was a peculiar thing to say the least, but it being introduced caused a little fluffy ruckus in her arms. "And IIII'M Crystal!" The six tailed arctic fox cried out excitedly. "O-Oh, I'm sorry, Crystal." The doll opened her arms, letting the fox free to move about after being carried along the distance from Rose Garden to this town. "No problemo! It's nice to meet you, darkie!~" Raising a paw as though she were waving to him, she gave him what would be as close to a close-eyed smile as one could do.

With the sudden arrival of another, more feminine voice, Sakura turned around to get a gander of this strange person. A rather attractive looking red haired girl had approached them, immediately declaring her guild and then dismissing any suspicions gained that she might have known the suited male that now stood behind her. Though he was quick to mention he too was from Crystal Swan, it just meant that she had her two members that Desiree sent for her to help. "Ah, it's nice to meet you then, miss. I'm Sakura Kisagami and this is Crystal, both from Black Rose." She gave a small curtsy to the girl before being interrupted by the male screaming out his pets name. As she turned her head, he had lept through the crystal inside, possibly after the pet. She sighed and shook her head, turning back to the red haired girl. "What a dolt..." She muttered while shaking her head. "Are all of Crystal Swan members that straight forward with diving into things, ma'am?" She asked, speaking loud enough now with her body turned back to facing the crystal. "I suppose we should go in to help, shouldn't we." Calmly walking towards the crystal, she didn't seem too worried to rush in. After all, she wasn't sure what could be on the other side.

Passing through the Crystal herself, she was met with a strange feeling of her magic being afflicted somehow. Shaking it off, she looked around until she spotted something lurking around near the crystal. It was massive in size, at the least for her more than the others and before she could even utter a word, she had been caught off guard from the speed of the creature. It swiped at her and hit her rather hard, flying back to a tree near the Knight and the guardian spirit a loud crack ushered from the impacting dolls body colliding with the tree then hitting the ground. Rubbing her head, she shook it off and immediately stood up from the ground. "Sometimes feeling no pain ha its benefits..." She said, pulling up her right sleeve. For either the red haired girl or Darknight if they looked, would see the porcelain arm showing a very visible crack trailing up the arm until it would become invisible to the clothing covering it up. "Well... at least it didn't shatter, but... here it comes." She had warned them, seeing it slowly approach, blocking the way for them to advance on. "There went me trying to practice physical combat in this..." She thought to herself while her gaze laid locked on the creature before them.

Rosabell would gain a happy smile upon being greeted so cordially by Sakura, finding her elegant manner to be rather refreshing compared to the greetings she was generally used to. Especially after displaying such a vicious introduction to that Darknight guy, maybe it was womanly kinship that had spared her from the smaller woman's wrath, or the fact that the first words out of her mouth didn't involve her height. On top of that, she had an adorable fox whom she literally had to restrain herself from glomping and providing excessive affection to, and in her book, having a adorable talking fox immediately made her A-Okay. Sadly the same couldn't be said for darkguy and his floating egg thingy, although it was entertaining to see him flustered at simply the sight of Sakura, maybe he had a thing for short girls and his only reaction was to lash out in attempt to hide his feelings. Which made him a... closet tsundere.

The signs were quite obvious, honestly she was surprised that she hadn't already figured it out. Tall, broody, and dark on the outside with one of those 'last of my clan' vibes, but a total marshmallow as soon as his fetishes come into play, and then prompt refusal of said fetishes without realizing it. If that didn't sound like a secret tsundere then Rosabell didn't know what did.

Of course before she was even able to properly return the greetings given to her, and or make fun of the now dubbed closet tsundere, she heard a lout shout coming from Darknights general direction, and with a curious eye she watched him chase after the omelet to be before promptly disappearing into said crystal. Rosabell could practically feel the 'way more trouble than it's worth' vibes coming off of the crystal, but of course the adventurous part of her being was practically begging her to go check it out without thinking rationally. Thankfully she managed to repress the urges long enough to listen to Sakura, quickly giving a full toothed grin as she followed her towards the crystal- her hands behind her head in a rather aloof fashion. Deciding to answer both of her questions with one simple answer as she passed through the crystal. "Yup"

Upon entering this new area Rosabell immediately felt a chill go up her spine, the silence was deafening and the overall look of the place creeped her out to no end, the dead forest only adding to the creep factor. It was like some dusty old basement, but the basement was an entire landscape. Of course, then she felt a sliver of her magic power being taken away by a wail of all things, which upon investigation emanated from a large monstrous creature she had spotted near the crystal. Before she even had time to blink she saw Sakura being slapped away like a ragdoll, not liking the sound she heard upon her impact of a tree.

Rosabell herself didn't even have time to look back to make sure Sakura was okay as her danger senses quickly kicked in and she ducked to the ground, watching with relief as the monsters claw passed over where her head had just been. Growling lightly under her breath, she was about to try and punch the creature, before feeling the air leave her lungs as a powerful knee impacted her stomach, sending her flying and eventually skidding on the ground, right in-between Darknight and the now standing Sakura. Hopping back up to her feet as if nothing had happened, she looked at the creature head on cracking her knuckles in cliché fashion, before promptly seeing two identical creature appear from out behind it thankfully being much smaller in size from the original. Letting out a sigh, she would look ahead with a slight smile on her face. "Alright, now we can die together!"
