|| notes - || A peaceful breeze washed through the trees in the forest just outside the prosperous town of Clover. In these woods were many dangerous things, some good and some evil. Another wave of wind blew through the trees, causing the leaves to dance in their own majestic way. Black-shoed feet gently landed on the thick end of a branch as the winds died down just a bit. Striking blue eyes looked up at the clear night sky, the stars reflecting beautifully off of them. "He's close...", the voice of a female muttered through the slightly still air. Snow-white hair danced intricately around for a moment before the breeze from just a minute ago came back once more. The occupied branch wobbled ever so slightly as it's occupant disappeared suddenly, the winds pushing forward through the sea of trees. Not far from that spot, there was a man having a drink in a little pub. It housed ruffians and thugs who were looking for a good time, something to drink, and some entertainment. However, there was something different about this man. The one that the white-haired girl was looking for. He was stronger than most, and deadlier as well. His name? Kazuki Saitou. This man was wanted by just about every government and mercenary group out there. He was dangerous, cunning, and powerful. And he was Alye's prey. She had set out from the high mountains that housed Eclipse Soul in search of this man for one reason. Respect. Currently, there was no S-Class mages in their guild, meaning the position of Ace was up for grabs. Most in the guild called her the "unofficial Ace" of Eclipse Soul. Alye didn't like that. She was still A-Class, she somehow hadn't proved to her Master that she was strong enough to be ranked as S-Class. It bothered for reasons that she could not understand. Either way though, if she could take down this man, she would certainly prove herself. The girl may not look the part, but she held immense magic power and was much stronger than she appeared. She was on a mission and she had a goal along with the power to achieve it. Nothing was going stop her... The winds rippled through the trees once more, and the same feet from before touched down gently and silently on the ground. Alye's blue eyes looked at the macabre pub. She was clad in a tight white and black V-neck tee that was matched off with a white and black long skirt that stopped at the middle of her thighs. She covered herself in a white-feathered cloak that moved gently with the slightest of movements. She had dressed to impress for a reason... The girl walked across the beaten path, her form becoming visible in the lone street light that hovered over the tavern. With a push of the door, sound rushed out, greeting Alye with jovial cheers left and right. As Alye opened the door, a shiveringly cold wind whipped into the bar, causing everyone to look at the door. Alye's eyes met no ones'. She just looked plainly on as she walked forward and closed the door behind her. She could feel the eyes of many males in the room peeled on her as she walked forward, her cloak swishing behind and around her. The garment brought proper attention to the most sought after parts on the woman's body, which made Alye realize that there were not any other female in the room. No matter. If someone tried anything, she would take care of them. Besides, she saw the one she was looking for. He was sitting down in a corner, drinking what looked to be sake with his swords sitting on the table. Green hair, scarred eye... That was him. The girl walked over towards him, still not looking at anyone before she turned at the last moment and sat down at the table next to him. She pulled the chair out and sat down, her legs crossing as she leaned back into the chair. Still, everyone's eyes were on her. Alye made it appear as if she was simply resting, to which the silence went on for just a moment before the noise continued once more, yet a bit more quiet and conservative now. She had no idea why men suddenly would act less rowdy when a woman entered the room. A little while later, Alye sipped some water as she sat there alone. CREATED BY FRAPPLE OF LS & BtN |

Re: Weathering Blades [Private]
- Kazuki's reputation kept going up. A few years ago, he was simply a swordsman among many others, but now he's one of the most feared and wanted criminals, his name known throughout Fiore as the name of a man who's done a lot of horrible deeds. Since he's one of the most wanted criminals, it's quite normal for him to see someone try to beat him down and earn his bounty, but most of these hunters have become the hunted. Only a few people see this guy's true power and only a few of them live to tell the tale of a man who sliced through their pride and dignity. Even the smartest bounty hunters have fallen through the swordsman's blade hence the fact that he still continues to walk freely despite his large bounty.
But today, this dangerous man decided to take a break from his mercenary life. He happened to pass by a quaint town named Clover which seemed like a great place to stay since only a few people know the dangerous best inside this man carrying three swords stained by the blood of their victims. It also had many bars and pubs, places Kazuki enjoys hanging around since he loves drinking sake. And, much to his pleasure, he happened upon one that served bottomless booze. Kazuki didn't want to waste that opportunity so he entered the pub, shifting the attention of many people. Kazuki didn't really look like your ordinary man, unless you consider someone with a lot of scars, green hair and three swords someone you always see hanging around which sounds pretty ridiculous. Now, let's laugh at the person who considers that, if there's anyone who does.
Let’s shift our attention back to the main topic. Ignoring the people who stared at him, Kazuki walked directly to the bar, taking a seat and laying his three katana on the table. The bartender didn’t look pleased when he simply laid his deadly weapons around the table since anyone around the bar could grab them and kill each other. The bartender decided not to mind Kazuki about this assuming that he was someone who couldn't be talked to easily. However, the truth is that he can be talked to as a normal person as long as it isn’t about any personal things and such. Once Kazuki has settled down on his chair, he ordered one mug of sake. The bartender took his order and passed a mug in an instant. Kazuki grabbed the mug and kept drinking until it was empty which greatly surprised the bartender. Only a few people could drink as fast as Kazuki can so you can’t blame the bartender looking at him that way. Kazuki ordered for a refill to which the bartender obliged, passing the mug back to him with another serving of his favourite drink.
Just as Kazuki finished drinking his ninth mug of sake, something unusual happened. A cold wind rippled through him which seemed to be coming from someone who just entered. He felt a powerful magical presence come inside so Kazuki had to stop his drinking session to take a glance at the person who just came in. “Jeez… I hope this isn’t another bounty hunter or something.” Kazuki thought to himself as he saw a young woman with silvery white hair. She wore a cloak and some kind of garment that revealed some of the sought out parts of her body, but unlike any other man, Kazuki wasn’t interested in that thing. What made him interested is that a woman who seemed to have high magic power enter this pub, something that usually doesn’t happen in places like this. Meh, whatever. Kazuki’s here to enjoy his drink, so he decided to shift his attention away and call the bartender who looked rather dumbfounded due to the woman who just came in. The man passed him his tenth drink with Kazuki enjoying it as if the mysterious woman never came in.
The woman walked closer to Kazuki so he laid his hands on his katana just in case she wanted to attack him. Kazuki seemed to be wrong about this as the woman simply sat on the table next to him, though Kazuki knew she was buying some of her time, or at least that’s what he thinks. As a precaution, he moved his three katana close enough for him to grab them the moment an attack would come. However, the swordsman didn’t want to reveal his suspicions so he continued drinking like he normally would.
Every now and then, he would stare at the woman, expecting to see her attempting to attack him or something. Instead, she simply sipped some water as she sat down much to Kazuki’s relief. Wait… What? The girl’s just sipping some water in a pub? Wow. Usually, people often go to simple restaurants to drink water instead of a pub, a place where men come to drink their heads of and make fun of each other. She is definitely after something, something inside this bar. And that something is definitely Kazuki, one of the most wanted mages in history.
Just to see if she is really after him, Kazuki had a plan. Once he finished his mug, he decided to say something to the woman just to show her that he isn’t suspicious about her presence. “You come to this pub to drink water? Heh. You should’ve went somewhere else since the water here is more expensive than the others. Try some sake for a change.” Once he said that, he stood up from his chair and grabbed his three blades, hanging them on his red waist band. He walked out of his table, knowing that the girl will make a move since her prey is already getting away.

|| notes - || If Alye wasn't adamant on staying in the character she was guised in, she would have smirked. This man was good. Very good. He sensed her magic power as soon as she entered the bar, though she had done the exact same thing towards him. Sensing someone's magic power while it was dormant and unused was something that required high sensory skills, which meant this man was already living up to his legend. Good thing she had... well, he'll see. When the man got up and spoke to her, then turned to leave, Alye did not move from her seat. "I'm a sloppy drunk, I'm afraid. Besides, water does the body good. Though, most drink sake to forget something, not for the good of it. Thank you for the suggestion though. Be safe out there...", she trailed off before she drank a little more water. Her tone made one wonder what her words meant, but if he walked outside, he would surely see why she had told him that. But... Alye put her cup down and looked at the table. Maybe that idea she had wasn't such a good one. Money made people turn on others... and the more money was involved, the sneakier people got. Alye finally did smirk. When her target made his way to the door the girl spoke once more. "You probably already know this, but there is a large number of bounty hunters outside that are looking to claim a certain bounty. A very high bounty. Though...they probably might settle on anyone's bounty, really". At this point, the entire bar was silenced, all eyes on her once more. "Seems someone tipped them off that a man with over fifty million jewel on his head was in the area. They swarmed like a moth to a flame. Wonder who could have done that...", she chuckled. "No matter. You can go outside if you wish, though a thousand strong army will be waiting for you... Or you could have a drink with me", she said as she leaned forward and pushed the chair opposite from him out with her foot. One might think that she trapped him, but Alye knew better. A thousand men? This Kazuki had taken on ten thousand, according to one story about him. Alye was counting on that. She had a plan. She didn't just run here recklessly like one might do. She was smart, and she was going to prove it. Sure, there were gaps in her plan, but she could make up for them. CREATED BY FRAPPLE OF LS & BtN |

Re: Weathering Blades [Private]
- When the girl replied to him when he asked her to try sake, Kazuki simply smirked. He does agree that water is good for the health, but that isn't really his concern. She also wished him to be safe once he get outside which isn't always the case since Kazuki's always in for danger. By now, maybe a few people have already piled around the bar knowing someone like Kazuki is in. This ALWAYS happens, so he's pretty used to it. It's just another group of bounty hunters who are in to get their asses kicked... or sliced. With his abilities now, Kazuki can incapacitate a thousand weak people, as in those who simply act tough but can't do anything once they taste the bloody mercenary's blades. That's always the scenario in fights Kazuki is involved with. First, he plays around with them. Then he decides to finish them quickly, leaving them dumbfounded at his increase in power. He loves it when they stare at him in disbelief, but this time, he may fight someone he hasn't fought for a long time - a powerful mage, the girl who sat next to his table.
Just as Kazuki was about to push the doors open and confront those who'll test their lucks by claiming his bounty, the woman he just saw stopped him with some words. "You probably already know this, but there is a large number of bounty hunters outside that are looking to claim a certain bounty. A very high bounty. Though...they probably might settle on anyone's bounty, really". Just when she finished her statement, everyone stared at her in shock. Their faces were giving expressions of confusion, as if asking themselves: "What is this girl talking about?" However, Kazuki didn't really look surprised with her statement. In fact, he knew that her statement was directed at him since he's the only one here who has a bounty and that it's pretty usual to see a lot of people swarm around just to catch him. This always happens every time Kazuki enters a bar. Why couldn't he just lay back and drink in peace? Jeez... He never gets a break. Instead of talking back to the woman immediately, Kazuki waited for her to continue knowing that she has something else to say.
"Seems someone tipped them off that a man with over fifty million jewel on his head was in the area. They swarmed like a moth to a flame. Wonder who could have done that...", Just as Kazuki heard this, he glared at the woman, assuming she was the one who tipped those guys. If she is, then there's no doubt Kazuki will draw his blades from his sheathes and prepare for an attack. But Kazuki's smart enough to wait for the right opportunity to strike so he simply glared at her with his piercing eyes... or eye, since he doesn't have his left one. "No matter. You can go outside if you wish, though a thousand strong army will be waiting for you... Or you could have a drink with me" The second option seemed to be the best, so Kazuki let go of the door and headed to the girl, sitting as if he doesn't care about what's happening around him. Everyone in the bar stood to their feet, realizing that one of the greatest criminals in the world is walking in this bar, standing with them. "I-is that... Kazuki Saitou?" One of them said with a cowering voice. The men with that guy nodded at him as if telling him he's right. "He couldn't be anyone else. Those three swords... That scar in his eye... He's the bloody mercenary!" Some of the men ran out of the bar in hope of saving their lives even though they knew there were armed men outside while others trembled due to the fear and pressure released by the bloody mercenary's presence. As Kazuki walked closer to the woman, his face wore a menacing expression. "Have you heard of the story about me incapacitating ten thousand men? That story is true. If you think I'll be scared by those weak-willed idiots outside, you're wrong. I'm not interested in fighting them. I'm interested in knowing who you are and what you want with me."
After saying that, Kazuki stopped in his steps. Instead of having a seat and drinking with her, he drew one of his blades which made the people around him collapse in a comical way as if they lost hope in their lives. "You're after my bounty, right? I'll give you a chance to try. You seem to be pretty powerful so stand up and give he a proper fight unless you want to cling on your dear life. I'm tired of shedding the blood of weaklings." Kazuki said in a deep, intimidating tone, as if he's in for the kill. "I'll tell you one more thing - even though you're a woman, I'm not going to treat you as one. I'm going to treat you as if you're one of my victims."

|| notes - || Alye was unabated by this man's looks and tone of voice. People usually made the mistake of highly underestimating her, and she would use it to her advantage. The girl had many tricks up her sleeve, and she intended to use them. As his glowering countenance looked her over, the girl only smiled a little. When he then drew his sword, instead of doing what she asked, the girl sat back, her face not showing a speck of fear. Alye did not fear this man, his swords, or his infamous stories. She had a few stories of her own... After the man finished speaking, Alye chuckled, causing some of the people around her to look at her like she was crazy. She even heard a couple of people say that she was, which she blew off. She wasn't worried about what they thought. She had a objective. The girl got to her feet after finishing her water. She took a step forward, and something quite odd happened. Kazuki's probably easy grip on his drawn sword began to get heavier and heavier as she neared him. A couple of seconds later, a crushing-like aura surrounded the blade, causing it to dip slightly as the air around it seemed to weigh a ton. Alye had simply caused the air pressure around the blade to increase exponentially. As she walked forward, the girl ran a finger over the dull part of the blade before moving so fast that most would not even see her. Only ones with the keenest of eyes would. Her hand came up as if she was going to strike Kazuki in the face, but she simply ran a gentle finger across his cheek. The girl walked past him, making her way towards the door. "I wouldn't have it any other way. Just know, that I don't care about your bounty. I just want to fight you", the girl said as she neared the door. For some odd reason, Alye didn't sense anyone outside anymore. Maybe they gave up and left? Or maybe they are all going to ambush them... It did not matter. CREATED BY FRAPPLE OF LS & BtN |

Re: Weathering Blades [Private]
The girl simply chuckled at the words Kazuki said, an expression he doesn't see all the time. Usually, when he intimidates opponents with his words, they tend to shudder and break down in fear but this woman didn't. The swordsman knew that this girl might put up a challenge to him, something he's been looking for for a long time. Well, whatever. Kazuki managed to overcome all the challenges he's faced, and he knows that this won't be an exception, or at least that's what he hopes it is.
When the woman finished her water, she stood up and took a step forward. For some reason, Kazuki's grip on his sword started to become heavier which made him quite surprised. It's obvious that the woman was the one who was doing this especially since it became heavier as she neared him. But Kazuki didn't really mind the weight gathering in his sword. He has undergone a lot of training that requires him to lift heavy objects and swing them like they are swords, so this isn't anything to him. However, this started to change when a crushing-like aura enveloped his sword. The weight of the sword drastically increased which messed with the pulse of Kazuki's wrist, forcing him to drop its tip for a moment. Kazuki taught that he can simply draw another sword in order to slash the girl, but it wasn't time to shed blood yet. He wanted to see what this woman could do, and he was damn sure she's going to do it now.
The woman ran a finger on the dull part of his sword which made it a lot more heavier. But Kazuki maintained his grip, his wrist hardening to the point that veins started to pop out in every side. If any normal person tried what the swordsman was doing now, their veins will explode, breaking their wrists. But Kazuki wasn't like those normal person. He can endure this kind of weight, though he kept laying the sword's tip on the ground just so he can rest his wrist for a bit. When the girl was finished touching his blade, she instantly disappeared in a fast movement which greatly surprised Kazuki. Despite this, he can still feel the girl just around him mostly due to her magical presence and the swordsman's reflexes. However, the woman did a move that wasn't as Kazuki predicted would be.
At the last moment, he saw her hand come up his face as if she is going to land a powerful blow. Even though he realized this, his face gave an expression without care since he's taken a lot of blows to the head. He knew this wouldn't be anything different, but, in a sense, he was wrong. Instead of being struck hard on his face, the woman ran a gentle finger across his cheek, something the swordsman never expected. Afterwards, the girl walked passed him and made her way to the door. At that moment, Kazuki taught she was going to escape, but he knew she wasn't that low to do something like that. "I wouldn't have it any other way. Just know, that I don't care about your bounty. I just want to fight you"
Hearing her statement, Kazuki shrugged as if he heard a joke. However, he didn't really meant it that way since he always used this expression whenever someone tells him something similar to what this girl said. "Well said. In a battle, there is no man or woman..." Kazuki gripped his other sword with his left hand, preparing to release it from his sheath. "...no bounties and relations..." Pulling the sword out, Kazuki aligned both of his blades sideways as if he's entering a battle stance. "...There is only the two of us with the same goal in mind... and that is to be the last one standing!" When Kazuki finished his statement, he swung his two blades with much force, causing the wind around him to blow out due to the force caused by his raw strength. "Now. Shall we begin?" Kazuki crossed his two swords on his chest, preparing one of his spells.
However, before the woman could answer what Kazuki said, a loud noise was heard from somewhere in the bar as if something was trying to break in.
