Entertain the Patients! (job)

Aven waited outside the hospital, nearly bouncing with excitement. He loved kids, and when he'd seen the job posting to bring a bit of joy to kids at the hospital, he was almost obligated to snatch it up. Even better, Nessa and Rina were joining him, so he was positive it would be a show to remember. As he waited, he tapped his cane rhythmically on the ground. He'd already spoken to the Nurse, and told them that it could start as soon as the others arrive. In his head, he already had a few ideas for drawing some 'Wow!'s out of their young crowd, and he couldn't wait to test them. He'd never had any assistance from other Magic users in the endeavor, especially not onethat would control light. To be honest, for this particular job, their two magics were a match made in heaven.

In the distance, he spotted Nessa approaching, and he waved enthusiastically, a big smile across his face. "Miss Nessa, over here!"

Rina was perked up that day because of all the things she had been doing as a guild ace. She had been getting to know 2 of the new members of the guild and she felt like she was doing good in giving them a warm welcome. It made her happy to know that she was doing quite a fine job at giving these two a warm welcome. Now, she was going on a job with them both. It made her just so happy. She applied for the Blazing Star position just to be in the moment like this. She even got to help children who were sick or hurt to be happy again. It was like her dreams of becoming a guild mage were all coming true in a whole month. She wondered what more good she could do in the month. It was like now she could do anything, which meant she could feel like she was doing good for the world. Good for her father as well. She knew that she had to devote her life to others when her father died because she didn't want to see anyone else she knew die.

As she was in thought, she stared down at the ground not being able to see where she was going. She saw the sidewalk of the street lead up into an area. As she looked up, it seemed as though it was the right place. Then it hit her...this was the place her father died. This was where she witnessed it all happen at once. It was the place she had to decide the life of her father, whether it be death or a life of complete unconsciousness. She felt a tear run down her face as she stared at the white hospital. She felt a scream come from her mouth as she felt even more tears run down her face. She just couldn't believe what was happening. Everything just came rushing back to her, but she knew she couldn't. So, Rina rooted herself to the ground and made sure that she couldn't hide away or even cry. Her tears were going towards the roots as she was being healed by them. She felt herself begin to glow as she began to center herself. She had wondered if her guildmembers heard her, but she just unrooted herself and began walking towards the two at the front of the hospital having a conversation. She realized she was still glowing but she didn't care, because her body could still feel the pain of being there. Although she didn't express the pain, she felt it in her heart. However, she knew that helping these people would be able to erase the pain and help her realize that maybe her dad was proud of her for being so mature and caring. She took a deep breath and put on a smile, and said, "So guys, how about we go in?"

Aven twirled his cane. "It sure is; a bright, shining sun, and a cool breeze! After we complete this job, I'll probably be going for a walk along the water, as a matter of fact." He chuckled. "Speaking of the water, you're dressed like you're looking for a tan, yourself! Planning on a beach visit later?" He teased, clacking his cane lightly at the punch line.

His attention was drawn away, however, as he felt the application of magic nearby. His eyes flickered past Nessa, and he heard a small semblance of a cry from down the road. A few moments later, Rina came into view, her eyes slightly red, and her aura glowing. Had she been crying? He decided not to pry: it was a hospital, after all, it wasn't far fetched to think she'd lost someone on those very grounds, especially seeing as she was an accomplished wizard at such a young age. He wished her th best, silently, hoping that he was simply mistaken. "Of course, Rina: they're actually waiting for us inside!" He gave her his trademark smile, maybe to perk her spirits up a bit.

Inside, a group of children was waiting criss cross in the main ward, accompanied by a few Nurses. The first Nurse spoke up. "Welcome, Fairy Tail Wizards! Thank you so much for coming, we've all been looking forward to your visit!" The children were wide eyed, expectant of the fun to come.

Rina could feel that Aven knew about her cries but she didn't seem to care as much. Nessa, however, didn't seem to notice at all which gladdened Rina greatly. As Nessa made a comment about her glowiness, Rina smiled at her and said, "Thanks!" With that, the group went inside and saw as children lined up to see them. Rina couldn't even believe that she was doing something like this in real life. It was like she was in some sort of dream. She pinched herself and wondered if she would wake up at some point in time. She didn't which made things 10x better. Since she was so excited, she whispered to her partners, "Hey guys, I think I'm going to go first just to introduce them to the guild of Fairytail." As she looked towards both of them, she turned back around to see the children all looking towards her.

With a broad smile, she said aloud, "Why hello there kids. I'm Rina Everglades, an ace from the guild Fairy Tail. You children have probably heard of it, and I hope you enjoy our little performance." The children began clapping as Rina began what she planned on doing before. As she touched her heart, it began to glow as it spent out little healing spores all around her. They looked like tiny fairies as they floated through the air. It started to become a beautiful area as they floated around the room. She then began to clench her fist together as they formed tiny seeds in her hand. She began to put them all around her body as they started to absorb the spores around her. Once they absorbed into her body, she began to light up with power as the kids "ooh'd" and "ah'd" at the site of it. All of a sudden, she punched a ground as a huge lotus made of light popped out of it. As the flower pushed out, the spores create a huge pulse of fairy-like lights that were sent out in a circle. Once they touched the walls, the lights popped into smaller lights as they floated up into the air." With that, Rina curtsied towards the kids. They began to clap as she walked back towards her group. She then asked, "Who's up next?"

Aven followed Rina's queue, quickly placing and empowering an Inertia circle, as well as placing a Blink Circle behind it, behind Rina's light display, and with a quick and sly movement, he pulled Nessa onto the silvery circle with him, as it broke and made them weightless. He winked as he let go, and spoke in a hush tone, "Follow my lead!" He pushed off the ground, spinning slowly as he rose, twirling his cane as dazzling lights from the flower decorated the room. As he rose, his body transformed, becoming muscular and black, with green runes running along his chest and forearms, as his suit jacket and shirt magically faded. His eyes glowed an emerald green, and beams of emerald energy circled him almost hypnotically. The kids watched in fascination, a near collective gasp of awe. One of the Nurses looked worried for a moment at the near demonic form, but relaxed as she reassured herself that it was fine. Aven gestured with him cane toward Nessa, queuing her to join him with a smile.
