Job Description:
The country of Desierto has had encounters with a strange happening that has gotten worse over time. Now, they have turned to the mages of Fiore to assist them in it. Everyday as the sun sets a village is cloaked in darkness that no one on the outside can see through or even enter without losing their life. Once the sun rises the following morning the thick darkness disappears and leaves behind a village that is torn into pieces and no one left alive. The strange occurance has been getting closer and closer to one of the three larger cities of the country and it is why the sultan that rules it has demanded assistance. It is predicted that the city itself will be attacked next! They will pay handsomely for defending them against whatever this happening is and making sure it does not happen again.
Enemies:
Weak: Small light orbs that float and move around from person to person. They are a soul collector of sorts and will try and take a person's soul if they are weak enough. They can be destroyed easily and usually only take one hit.
Normal: Much larger than the orbs of light and form into an actual creature that moves with predatory instincts. They too take souls and will devour them, but they are also dangerous and savage like any other normal wild animal.

Strong: The person that started it all. It was from a wish that was made that is causing the crisis. For whatever reason this person desired the souls of those that lived within Desierto. They did not care of the death that would come of it and will now defend themselves while also ensuring the grand city becomes the newest part of the soul collection. The abilities of this person is not all that dangerous, mainly sand based magic and illusion while also being decent with bladed weapons.
Boss: This one may be fought, or it may not. Only at the will of its master will the genie step in. Since it is a genie, anything is possible when it comes to fighting it. Be wary. One could try obtaining the lamp and breaking it, but it is also possible to take command if the current master is defeated. Although, the genie is obligated to protect its master and will have an absorption shield around its master. Maybe it'll break eventually. Good luck with that.
Reward: 155k Jewels and an IOU from the sultan for a future favor
