A Step into the Past || Open

It was a beautiful morning in the Rose Garden, the sun had just rose on the horizon and the street slowly became busy now that people are preparing to go to work. Amongst those that are walking on the street, there's one particular individual that stood out, a young man in white jacket. What made that particular young man stood up is that he's currently walking while holding boxes that is stacked pretty high on the top of each other that it reached even beyond the height of the young man's head. The black haired young man walked carefully while peeking from behind the sides of the boxes to see if he'll run into someone or not, it was a pretty busy street so the young man had to be extra careful to not accidentaly bump into someone. Along the way, he could see people that goes off to work enthusiasticly, housewives that are chatting with each other cheerfully, and kids are playing with each others happily. It was a peaceful morning in Rose Garden. Seeing that warm sight, a smile had been formed on the young man's face.

The young man then continues ahead while still holding the boxes. After walking not too far from there the young man finally arrived in front of a certain building. The building that stands in front of that young man is a three stories bistro building, there's a sign above the entrance that indicates the name of the establishment inside the building. "Silver Moon Inn ..." his sapphire blue eyes seems to be fixated onto the sign when he muttered that. The young man face turned into the face of someone that's deep in thought after seeing that sign. "It has been several years since this place becomes my home ..." his smiling face earlier had been gone completely and is replaced with that of a nostalgic look. His mind seems to be revisiting what happened several years ago.

It was a rainy day in rose garden, and the street had been fairly empty because the peoples are staying inside the building to avoid the rain. But the street is not completely empty, a small figure can be seen limping through the street. It was a figure of a small boy dressed in tattered rug and cloak, his black hair seems to be very long and messy like he had not take a bath in a long time, the look in his face seems empty and he wanders aimlessly on the street. Not long after wandering aimlessly, the boy seems to ran out of his stamina. Because he's small body can be seen collapsing on the street. The empty look on his eyes does not change even when he was lying on the cold wet street with drops of water that keeps pouring into him from the sky. His lifeless eyes seems to swim around, and what the boy had seen is a sign that is hanging from the entrance of the building right before him. Silver Moon Inn is what was written there. After seeing that, the boy eyes, slowly becomes unfocused before the boy finally closes his eyes and losing his consciousness.

"After losing my consciousness, the people of the Inn took me in and takes care of me until now ..." his happy face now is back as it was before. He shifted the boxes weight to lean on his right shoulder while holding them using his right hand. The left hand that is free now, is turned so that the back of the hand is facing the young man's face. A symbol resembling a rose is printed there with black color. "At first I didn't know the meaning of this symbol ..." it seems that the symbol had a deep meaning for the young man. "Black Rose guild, without them, I might have died that day." Black Rose guild is the guild behind the Silver Moon Inn that took the young man in that day when he collapsed in front of the inn and nurse him back to health. The symbol that is imprinted on the back of the young man's left hand is the guild insignia. "That's why I become a mage ... so that I can repay the guild that had done so much for me ..." a soft smile can be seen while he keeps on looking at the back of his left hand seemingly in trance.

It seems after being drown in nostalgia, the young man forgot that he's supposed to bring the boxes inside the Inn. Instead, he stands in front of the entrance while in looking at his guild insignia.

Stelar finally broke out of his trance when a voice reached his ear. He looked around to find out the source of the voice. What he sees there is two people staring at him not too far besides him. Stelar expression froze for a while, before he finally looked back and forth between his guild insignia in his left hand and the people that are staring at him. His face grews redder before he finally hides his left hand inside his jeans pocket. It must have been very embarassing to him getting caught smiling like an idiot while staring at his hands by others, who knows how long they have been there. He then took a deep breath to recompose himself before he finally responded to the question. "Y-y-yes! I'm alright! I'm just uh ... Reminiscing a bit about my past! Hahaha ..." he smiled at them while trying to hide his embarassment.

One of the people, a girl, comes closer towards him while introducing herself. Stelar had seen this girl before, he was pretty sure that they had met before. His searched for a while in his memories about the time he could possibly met her before. He's then reminded of the face of a certain young girl around his age, that girl is one of the people that nursed him back to health several years ago. It took a while for him to recognize her because she didn't talk much back then, and after he's healed up he never got a chance to talk to her until now. The girl introduced herself as Lilium and it seems she had also been on a delivery duty like him. "Ah! Nice to meet you too Lilium! I believe you have taken care of me before. Thank you for that time, and I'm sorry for troubling you and the people of the guild back then." his first priority now that he finally had the chance to talk to her is to thank her for she had also nursed him back to health.

After thanking her something unexpected happened, the other person who originally is behind the girl, is suddenly in front of him right now. This sudden development made Stelar suprised so much that he almost fall to his butt, fortunately that does not happen, and Stelar managed to stop himself from falling backwards. "T-that surprised me ... How can?" a look of bewilderment can be seen on his face. Stelar could've sworn that this big man that suddenly appeared in front of him was not there a second ago, he should've been behind the girl and yet there he is. The big man laughed after seeing Stelar's reaction upon his prank. The big man then proceeds to introduce himself as Arthur and he's called a Heroic Spirit, the big man then offered his hand for a handshake. Stelar is not sure about what a heroic spirit is. He might be a mage now, but he's still fairly new, in fact it's only yesterday that he finally got his Rank as a mage. His thought is then cut short when Lilium peeked out from behind Arthur, apologizing to him for Arthur's attitude.

Stelar then looked back towards Arthur's hand, then he looked towards his right hand. Realizing that he still carries the boxes and therefore cannot do the handshake, Stelar pulled out his left hand from his jeans pocket then proceeds to put the boxes on the ground besides him. Only then he grabbed Arthur's hand. "It's fine really! Rather than that, it's my pleasure to make your aquintance!" Stelar seems to not mind Arthur's behavior at all. "Lilium might already know my name before, but I believe this is the first time I've ever properly introduced myself to both of you." he paused a bit before he finally made his introduction. "My name is Stelar Everglades! You may have seen me wandering around the Inn as an errand boy. But starting from today, I will be joining Black Rose guild as a mage!" Stelar raised his left hand and showed the mark of Black Rose upon the back of his left hand to Arthur. "I am fairly new to the whole Magical stuff, so I apologize in advance for not knowing what a Heroic Spirits are. But I'm sure whatever that is, it's a wonderful thing!" he admitted his lack of understanding about magic towards Lilium and Arthur while smiling apologeticaly towards them.
