Re: Ready for your close up?
Advent hadn't been on a job since joining the dark guild known as Nightmare, his hand going to the guild mark clearly shown on his cheek as he scratched it. He had been told by his guild master Chaoris that his mark was different from anyone else's within the guild, as it would help him not to get past the point of no return. That scared him more than words could say, his magic corrupted him and if it got to high he'd have to go to the graveyard for those like him. The thought of that sent a shiver up his spine that made him visibly shudder, the requiem's graveyard was an island surrounded by three maelstrom and several whirlpool. The reason for this wasn't just to keep people out but primarily to prevent those on the island from leaving, and it done so very well. He snapped back out of his mind and his potential future "The guardian of war said he'll make sure to help me stay in control, I just have to obey the rules." he said to himself more than anyone else.
He had to admit he was kind of nervous on doing this task but it was a good sign to Chaoris that he was a willing warrior. "What am I to do?" he asked turning his head listening "Three?" he seemed somewhat confused why there was so many objectives, but who was he to question those who he had accept a job from; he just hoped that it wasn't a waste of his time as nothing annoyed him more recently. "So?" he said crossing his arms, before rolling his eyes huffing as he got his replies "Well what do you think I want? Give me details." he sounded less than happy that was for sure, but given his current level of corruption it was easy to understand why if you knew about that. "So, we've been given a job from some anti-mage anarchists?" he seemed somewhat confused on that as he moved to an abandoned hotel as that was where he had been told to meet another mage. "Well why would they be asking from mages since they're so against the magic council and mages who oppress them?" he asked the unseen forces around him.
Feeling the still soft carpet below his feet he moved to a sofa and sat down "So what exactly do these idiots want us to do?" he asked as these people seemed to make little sense to him being against mages but then asking mages to their dirty work, he soon laid on a sofa listening to them. "so we've to plant a bomb to blow up someone mid broadcast, state slanderous and derogatory things about the council before then killing everyone." he said with a disinterested tone, it didn't seem that to hard to him but the reason behind it was strange regardless. His head then started to focus on other things, he wondered what kind of mage he would be partnered with, their guild and even their magic. Part of him even wondered if they would be a hindered and how best to kill them and dispose of their body if that was indeed the case, his gm could always use a new skull he was sure; for now however that wasn't something he should be thinking of. He waited silently hoping that they would turn up soon, they were on a deadline after all.
