Someone who had a friend in the town guard let slip that Jacob Goodnight was born with dextrocardia. That knowledge solved the mystery of why Jacob's self-inflicted stab wound was not fatal. Unfortunately for him, Leona stabbed him in just the right place to end his reign of terror for good. Despite his questionable mental stability, Jacob was right about one thing. He would be remembered long after he was dead.
Leona strolled into a cafe and took a seat at the bar. She wanted to take a day off before she took on another job. The doctors warned her not to do anything strenuous for at least three days. That meant no fighting serial killers. The blonde could live with that... she did not know which job she wanted to do next anyway.
Leona requested a Cherry Charge, a sweet carbonated beverage that had a cherry taste. The person who took her order nodded and promised to return shortly. Leona looked to her right and spotted a young woman with a distinct appearance sitting next to her.
She had lengthy silver hair and blue eyes and what appeared to be fox or wolf ears. She wore an elaborate dark long coat and had a sword in a scabbard slung behind her back. She also wore a tan skirt and dark boots with white fur trim. She looked like a mage. Not too many people around here wore such an elaborate outfit nor carried such a fine weapon.
Leona gently tapped her shoulder.
"Hi there. I'm Leona. Leona Jarnefeldt. Do you have time to talk?" Leona asked the young woman.
