A Return from the Tower[JOB][Sukiro & Midnight]

Mari walks down the rocky path that leads to the legendary Mystic Tower. A tower untouched by others that it just makes more people want to come and find out what is the reason behind it, but the cycle continues to rotate. Mari found the job, half ripped on the job board wondering why no one has taken it and its nice reward, as she didn't know of its contents she decided that she would like to find out why no one returns as well. She was told that another mage from another guild was going to join in on the fun. It was going to be Ren, the Water Dragon Slayer. Though Mari hasn't seen her since their last mission and thought it would be great that they partnered up again. She thinks that the dragon slayers should band together and fight together, making their chances for future battle's even greater.

Mari pulled a piece of folded paper from her pocket and looked over the job again. Her objective was to save a girl that was to curious for her own good and her parents are paying for her safe return. Mari looked from the paper toward the toward that grew as she drew closer to the tower. Placing the paper back into her pocket as she got closer to the large double doors which seemed to be the entrance to the tower, she looked back to see if there was anyone following her or it to be Ren catching up to the tower. Mari decided to jog around the large tower to see if there was any other ways of infiltration or means of escaping the inescapable tower. After about eight minutes of jogging around she has finally gotten back to the entrance and still no sign of anyone that has made it to the entrance since she's last been here and no sign of another entrance. She slid her hand into her long blond hair, scratching her scalp as she looked toward the top of the tower. The multiple high windows that looked to hard to jump, she wished that she had brought Ignis along with her, but instead left him at home. She let out a large sigh.

Ren would walk up the cobblestone path to the mystic tower. Her black leather high heels would clack against the ground. Her hair flowing behind her scarlet dress, accented with black leggings. The air was brisk and cool. Ren kept her eyes on the horizon as well as admiring the landscape. How awful could this place be? It's quite beautiful. She could a see a figure in front of the sky-high tower. She assumed it was Mari, remembering her blonde hair. As she neared closer and closer to the tower, she grew nervous. Having not seen her for a while. She kept looking back at the top of the tower. It would be mesmerizing her somehow. For some reason, she seemed interested in that specific area. I can sense a large amount of magical power being emitted from there... She would think to herself as she reaches Mari. She stops a few feet from her as she parts her lips, beginning to speak. "Hello there. It's been a while hasn't it?" Ren would say as Mari looks at her.

Ren would wait for Mari to respond as she thinks back to their old job. The way they made a good team and took down the enemies as they came at them. This would be something else. This is a B-Rank job. The enemies will be far more stronger than last time. Ren keeps a smile as she looks back up to the tower's summit. There is something going on up there. She wonders what the enemies will be like. There have been rumors of disappearances occurring in this tower. As well as mages who live in isolation. Training like monks. If so, their magical power is a force to be reckoned with. As Ren daydreams about the kind of battles they'll have, she thinks back to Fairy Tail, wondering what is going on back there since she left. There is still a steady amount of members, being the only guild in Magnolia has its perks. Although, she doesn't regret leaving. This is a new chapter in her life. And it's time to fill the blank page with new adventures...
