- Guy Stratus:
Yona had never met Guy Stratus herself, but from the rumors he was foretold to be equal parts humorless jerk and determined scientist. She had met people like him before and had rarely gotten along with them. Pushy men who assumed they were better than everyone else: tie that in with a focused drive to get what they think they deserve, and these guys could be real pains in the rear. Still, the reward was more serious and the job seemed straight forward enough to make dealing with a man like Guy Stratus worth the while. Yona had found the request on the job board and reviewed its point: the scientist had spent two years searching for some mythological lost artifact called the Prismatic Aegis of Gen'atoh, a name Yona was surely going to forget or mispronounce. Just find the artifact and make sure the stern client didn't get hurt in an old tomb.
It seemed also that there was significant amount of traps or dangers in the tomb and Yona didn't know if she could handle so much on her own. Of course, she was strong enough, but if multiple traps were triggered at the same time and Guy died--the whole thing would be a huge mess and would affect the reputation of the WFTC guild. Yona would hear it from Ruvel for sure. So, it made sense that she would go after one of the new members who did not know yet just how reckless she could be. It made even more sense that she specifically ask Kyran to join her, since she felt pity for him. Yona had gotten in trouble for grabbing him and dragging him around and making him lose his mind a little. But she thought getting him out and about might be an effective way to boost his weak little mind and maybe even reduce her lab restriction sentence from Ruvel.
Yona chose to dress carefully for the job this time since it was going to be with a guild mate and all. She had comfortable pearly ankle boots and matching short shorts. Yona had wraps over her chest, an off white shade that stood out against the snow-hued coat she wore. Yona loved that coat, wearing it nearly everywhere- it was at calf-length, with pockets, shiny buttons and straps, and flared shoulders making her look quite regal. Considering the weather was fairly warm, she left it open as she sat on the steps of the guild, waiting for Kyran to appear.
