Personality: Halkoran can be somewhat insecure. He has no trouble making friends, and loves talking to people, but at the end of the day he'll always wonder if he said the wrong thing or accidentally pissed somebody off. Because of this, he tends to stay somewhat silent, not wanting to impose on the lives of anybody else. Most of the time though, he actually has rather insightful things to add into a conversation, but rarely shares them unfortunately. Halkoran finds comfort in reading, mostly enjoying fiction and history books. Somewhat of a religious man, he tries to keep his material appropriately rated. You'd seldom catch him reading anything scandalous, in public anyway. Even while religious, he does not judge other people, considering how it's one of the primary rules of his religion. In general, he's a really friendly soul, one that's tender, kind and loving too.

Halkoran does not approve of conflict, thinking it to be barbaric and unnecessary, only hurting those that are at their weakest. Nobody who is emotionally sound wants to be fighting, and so only those that are hurting physically escalate situations. At least, that's his opinion anyway. He is the kind of person to always try talking things out instead of going weapons drawn into combat. Though, that's not to say he won't ever draw his weapons against those who wish to hurt him or hurt those he loves. Halkoran is embarrassingly protective, even while knowing that those people can probably protect themselves just fine. Hell hath no fury like Halkoran scorned, his rage is rare but effectively potent.

In combat, Halkoran usually takes the supportive role or the tank. He's not the best at dishing out damage, but he'll always do his best to keep his allies up and running. To him, healing or buffing others is much more satisfying than getting a critical hit with a spell. Needless to say, he's rather good at taking orders, a side effect of his military training and background. Halkoran didn't always use to be a peace-loving teddy bear, having once been a high-ranking officer in a private mercenary group. It took a while for him to figure out why, but after each and every job, he felt a little bit hollow. It was upon further investigation with somebody he'd never think of to speak with before, a priest, that he likely felt guilty about being paid for violence.

Halkoran absolutely abhors all forms of dark magic and dark mages. He strives to vanquish or at least prevent it at any cost. Dark magic is the corruption of their gift from the aether, a corruption of their ability to cast magic. Even if the dark magic is used on their own side, he'll veer away from them and disassociate himself. From his teachings, necromancy, demons, and dark elemental magic are what fall under this category, along with anything else including the use of ghosts. It's one of the things he has strict views on, it's just wrong. Besides that though, he is a socially liberal person as his teachings have no bearing on controversial topics and usually just deal with spreading peace and kindness.

• Dark Magic, any and all forms of dark magic, no exceptions.
  
• Criminals, those who hurt others purposefully for their own selfish reasons are almost as bad as those who cast dark magic.
  
• Horror, Malkoran is easily scared, and mostly refuses to read horror novels.

Appearance:

As if a stereotype of an army general, Thaumiel stands at a whopping six foot two. Impressively, his body is built like a marble statue, with chiseled abs, strong arms, and a jawline to kill. Ironically, his appearance is sinfully attractive, unknown to him of course. His face is normally clean shaven, but sometimes he lets a bit of stubble grow out due to sheer laziness. His face is also built in the same matter, his nose sharp and strong along with plump red lips and soft blue eyes. His brow is defined and chin prominent. If under the right light, a faint speckle of freckles can be found if really searched for. His clothing is rather bland, usually just t-shirts and jeans. Fashion isn't very important to him in the slightest.
