Rank: Any
Job Location: Any town or city.
Solo Word Count: Equal to player rank
Group Word Count: Equal to player rank
Additional Requirements: 1 or 2 wizards, max. Must have completed at least three jobs already on this character.
Job Description: A mad wizard(s) has caused a massive disturbance in the town square! He has been causing ruckus and delaying business, traffic, and various other activities. The magic used is a modified version of script magic known as Duel Card magic. Duel card magic has altered the space to negate all magic in the dark purple translucent dome. Entrance to the field requires the Mad Wizard(s) permission, and once they do a deck of cards magically appears before them. The deck is generated from the users soul and personal experiences. The memories form the summons and support cards, and what they are are up to the player.
In the dome is a a playing field, where the player(s) stands is a floating horizontal white outline of a card that the players place their deck, while the rest of the zones are giant sized. When a deck is set down on the zone, a colored circle forms around the player broken into four pieces. On either side of the field are five summon zones, while there is a row of five support zones right behind. On the far right, of the player's field is a zone called the Purgatory zone.
Breakdown of the cards goes as follows, Standard cards, Hybrid cards, and Gold cards. Standard cards are regular cards. Hybrid cards are created by fusing two cards on the field together, typically having higher power and stronger effects this can be done up to twice per turn. Gold cards can only be played once per turn, and have strong effects, Gold cards cannot fuse with non-gold cards. Types of cards fall under summons and support.
Summon cards are the main form of combat as they summon creatures that are constructs of the cards and appear once the cards are thrown onto the field. All summons have a power value, measured typically in multiples of 10. Summons can have effects as well, and are only summoned to the summon zones, unless destroyed and sent to the Purgatory Zone, removing them from play. Summons can only be brought back to play when sent to the Purgatory zone by a card effect.
Support cards are cards purely effects, and are played exclusively in the support zones. They are typically effects such as destroying cards, negating effects, boosting Power values, restoring Life Counters, etc. Support cards can be set, and played at any later time after the turn they were set. However the turn player can play support cards at any time of their turn.
Rules of the game are as follows, each player has four Life Counters, losing all four results in a loss. Having no cards to draw when drawing is mandatory results in a lost. At the start, each player has 4 cards in hand, and at the start of each turn the player draws one card. The Primary phase is where players can play summon and support cards, the turn player can summon a monster once, any further summons require card effects. The turn player can then decide to start the battle phase and attack, by attacking an opposing Summon, the one with the higher power level destroys the other. When a Player has no Summon on their side of the field, the player can be attacked directly. Each direct attack takes away one Life Counter.
In the event of two wizards participating, the game will be considered a tag match. The players on a team will take turns alternating control. Life counters, field, and purgatory zone will be shared, however when a player is not active their deck and hand is considered out of play until they come back into play. The switch happens at the end of the opponents turn before the start of the player team.
