- Saewon is one of the Arata, divine spirits that lived within a different dimension that could exist both in the physical and spiritual planes. For this reason assuming a physical form is the same as putting on clothes for an Arata, and he can go unseen or naked into the world, but doing so will take away his ability to interact with the physical world. Although this ability to shape shift is not infinite and he can be come attached to a certain body making it difficult to assume a different form. Furthermore, due to Saewon’s divine spirit he cannot die. His body however, can be destroyed requiring Saewon to spend months rebuilding a new one, and his spirit can be diminished to a point that he can never again rebuild a physical body: effectively ‘killing him’.
Personality:
First and foremost Saewon is incredibly manipulative and intelligent, he knows how to prey on others desire, and how to be a dam good actor. He tends to be naturally analytical and can quickly pick up on body language or other behavioral clues that could hint towards deception, which makes it somewhat harder for others to manipulate him. Saewon commonly combines his natural ability to assume different shapes with his learned ability to alter his personality at will, allowing him to create numerous false identities to manipulate others. Before his expulsion from his realm Saewon was able to orchestrate disastrous events by planting his and his master agents where he needs them, and deceiving unsuspecting parties into to doing his bidding. Saewon is willing to go to great lengths to get what he wants, it doesn’t matter how long it takes, it doesn’t matter what he would need to do, and it doesn’t matter who it is he needs to use. If he wants something he will get it one way or another.
Saewon would undergo extreme obsessions, such as his quest for perfection, to order the world according to his designs, and later to dominate all life within reality. Ironically, both obsessions would lead him down a path of ruin in which he may achieve imperfection. Even before his fall from grace Saewon held a superiority complex that later transformed into a god complex when he began to study human nature and notice how fragile human life is. He firmly believed that his level of conscience is too different and much higher for humans to grasp. In other words he is very narcissistic. He can be somewhat narrow-minded as seen by his tendency to think of everything in terms of power, and he was somewhat willfully ignorant of people or matters which he considered to be useless. He presents himself as being sophisticated and collected in attempts to make himself seem perfect, but in reality he can show the same emotional tendencies as humans. In fact, he is constantly conflicted with his own personal desire for order and perfection, and his own psychopathic desire to cause destruction and suffering.
Saewon in truth prefers to work from the shadow and plot from afar while other people preform his dirty work. When he faces someone who he knows to be lessor in power compared to him, Saewon tends to be rather sadistic and cruel. The battle would become more like a game of cat and mouse, with Saewon slowly tearing his victim apart piece by piece: both physical and emotionally. However, when faced with a stronger opponent, he is cautious and reluctant to enter combat without some sort of preparation or plan. In cases in which he knows he would be defeated, Saewon is not afraid to forsake his body, and retreat to make an effective plan. He generally have one general rule when engaging in stronger opponents: if he can't beat them mentally, then he can't beat them physically. This golden rule reflects his preferred method of combat, defeating his enemy through the use of manipulation and corruption.
Likes & Dislikes
Likes aka what is tolerated
- Control- For most of his life Saewon is someone who is struggling for control both of other people and himself. He considers himself superior to those mortal creatures and for that reasons wishes to control them for the greater good. - Suffering- While he was placed under the service of Gurthon in the other realm , Saewon was known for his inhuman love for suffering. He was known to both mental and physical torture prisoners for no reason other than enjoyment. Admittedly he is embarrassed of his sadistic nature and does attempt to hide it.
- Gurthon- Even Saewon is someone who posses the ability to feel love for someone other than himself, and it was that love that drove him to darkness. Gurthon is a fallen Aratar who served as the embodiment of evil within his realm, and for the most part Saewon subconsciously emulates his long diminished master.
- Order- Something that was developed before his seduction at the hands of Gurthon, and formed during his tutelage under the Aratar Malenor-the patron of crafters. Saewon proud himself in the fact that his work place was neat and orderly, later he would grow to show disdain for the mortal races for being chaotic and wasteful.
Dislikes aka what is not tolerated
- Mortals/Humans- They are destructive, arrogant, wasteful, little pest who bring forth disorder and chaos everywhere they go. Saewon can only see the dark side of mortals which is due to his pessimistic nature, meaning that his willfully ignorant of the good that mortals can do. Furthermore, those traits that Saewon hate within mortals is traits that he sees within himself.
- Wastefulness- Being under the service of Malenor has taught him that almost everything has some sort of use, and that he was never to waste any materials. However, Saewon took that lesson to close to heart and eventually form a fierce hatred for anything or anyone wasteful. Which in return was used to orchestrate his down fall from heavenly grace.
- Morals- Not so much morals in of themselves but more so the differences in morals. Even though he personally believes that morals are a sign of weakness he however, recognizes the impact they play in mortal lives. For this reason he views the differences in morals to be the reason for disorder and chaos within the world, and holds a distaste for this diversity.
- Imperfection- Saewon defines perfection as being totally in control of oneself and their environment, alongside being orderly. Anything that is disorderly or anyone with a lack of control is considered imperfect and thus unworthy of existence. Although this could also mean that Saewon hates himself, either way he holds a deep hatred for the imperfect.
Motivations & Fears
- Perfection- A personal goal that was started under his service of the benevolent Aratar, and then later Gurthon. Saewon wants to gain absolute control over his emotions and removal from all desires that make him seem human or well normal. Though in doing so he will unintentionally become more human in the process, an interesting paradox one he cannot see.
- World Domination- An motivation that was stemmed from his obsession with control and order, this is considered the ultimate expression of his control freak nature. Saewon believes that he holds a divine right to rule over the world and he follows the train of thought that 'He knows what is best for everyone' something he adopted from his master.
- Unlimited Power- More so his quest to regain all the former power that he lost after his expulsion, and then discovering a way to permanently keep that power in him. You see Saewon noticed that during the war his master lost much of his former strength, and he plans not to make the same mistakes as his former master.
What he secretly fears the most
- Failure- Saewon was condition that failure was unaccepted and the punishments for failing his master were usually severe, one time Gurthon destroyed his physical body, and then tortured his spirit for three months. After that Saewon has become somewhat fearful of failure, afraid that his former master would somehow punish him from beyond the void. Something which is technically impossible but the thought scares him nonetheless.
- Physical Death- Saewon fears the destruction of his body which would be the equivalent of killing him. You see once his body is destroyed Saewon would still technically be alive, just simply reduced to an intangible spirit, and forced to rebuild his body. However, since he technically lives on even after the destruction of his body it still means that Saewon psychological goes through the process of death, which causes intense mental trauma.
- Lost of Power- Granted the destruction of his physical body is without a doubt a traumatic even, one that he fears more failure. But something that he fears even more than that is losing so much power that he won’t be able to craft him a new body, and becoming a powerless spirit. Unable to interact with the physical world and unable to return ever again. Something which haunts him to his very core.

Appearance: Saewon’s can generally be described as an shape-shifter someone who is constantly changing his appearances to meet the situation at hand.Though with Saewon arrogance often causes him to assume a form like that of his originally form (see Aradhelon) however, due to his evil nature his original form has been somewhat corrupted as his evil has become more visible (see Saewon). In some cases he will assume a different form completely in order to achieve a certain desire or fulfill a certain task, in combat he will commonly assume a form similar to that of his master in order to strike fear (See Daechir).
