Description: The Dark Fireplume is a type of magic that was lost to the world decades ago, as well as the Farlier family that had been able to use it. It had originated from Antonin Farlier, a man who was supposedly a man with a great innate ability to wield fire. His ability to wield fire as well as he did came from an ancient beast called a Fireplume, bearing heavy resemblance to the Phoenix. His connection to this ancient bird gave him an unmatched connection over flames, gaining him a reputation. This was during a time the first child of the Shadows of Anarchy was born and, though this piece of information had been lost to time, the two forces had crossed at some point. When Antonin was bestowed with this power it had changed the Flames that he wielded, the two forces melding together and his flames becoming tainted by the dark power granted by the Shadow User, causing a stronger power to be created in Antonin's Bloodline. When this power manifested completely, there was a black marking left somewhere on his body, a mark that would spread along along his body whenever he tapped into the darkness of his powers more. But the powers of the Shadow User didn't just taint Antonin, it also directly affected and tainted the Ancient Fireplume Bird. While binding it to the Farlier Family and their taint, the bird grew in strength and malice, forever turning into a pure black color. It was clear that whatever had happened to him had changed his bloodline forever, seeing as upon having his first child, it had also been born with a similar marking of its own. The dark flames that he possessed and their power, as well as his Karma Alignment taking a shift afterwards, caused his family to be known as group of Dark Magic users and to be isolated in old times. While the family had gotten larger, it wasn't long until they were suddenly starting to get picked off one by one. It wasn't until there was only a few descendants left that they seemed to disappear off the face of the planet that they were no longer pursued, disappearing beneath the tides of time and leaving a small imprint on history itself.
The Flames of the Farlier Family had been said to burn brighter and stronger than any other type of fire, seemingly being able to devour other flames that they came in contact with as well as adopting the ability to be created from shadows, leaving these flames as a dangerous power. Although it is said that prolonged usage of the dark flames can cause the deterioration of the mind, it is hard to say how true this statement is. Although the Dark Fireplume Magic is unique to the Farlier Family, it does not stop them from being able to manipulate normal flames. The ability to use normal flames is what has helped the Farlier Family slip away into obscenity over the years, a useful trick.
Leylin Farlier is the first of the Family to begin openly using this lost piece of magic, although when he does manipulate the flames of the Dark Fireplume he makes sure to do so underneath his alias. The Flames that Leylin controls are powerful and show the promise to live up to the infamous Antonin Farlier, his primary use for this flames being heavy offense. But even with that being the case, there is no denying that the dark flames are more than capable of defending him as well. Although he claims to need a staff to use his fire powers, this is just a facade, the man being able to not only release the flames from his hands but also summon them at will, similar to the way that a Shadow User can manipulate shadows without eccentric hand gestures and the such.
Strengths:
- The Flames of the Dark Fireplume have shown to be stronger than the normal flames of other Fire Magic Users, though this only goes for when the user is actually utilizing the black flames of the family. If not, then the strength of their flames is usually about the same of a normal fire magic user.
- Although the Dark Fireplume is known for its black flames, a user of this ability can still use the attacks from their bloodline in the shade of normal flames, allowing them to hide the fact that they are a Dark Magic User.
- Similar to the Shadows of Anarchy, the flames of the Dark Fireplume can be created within a certain distance from the user and from the shadows. This allows the shadow strikes of the users to become even more deadly than normal.
Weaknesses:
- Due to the Darkness affinity that fuels the Dark Fireplume's Flames, this has caused the fire to not only have a weakness towards water but also to Light Magic. Meaning that with the increased strength, there is also more ways to stop these flames.
- Similar to the Shadows of Anarchy, no flames can be created from the shadows of a person directly or any of their equipment directly. There has been no way to break the binds between the two abilities, forever bound by these rules.
- Prolonged usage of the Dark Fireplume flames at a single time can cause physical exhaustion, eventually leading to the person losing consciousness and leaving them vulnerable, especially if the threat they were fighting wasn't completely eliminated. Those that don't collapse risk a much more horrible fate.
- The users of the Dark Fireplume had always been known to have a darker nature by instinct, easily corrupt and manipulated when influenced by the right forces. Prolonged usage of the dark flames at a single time can actually cause a person to go temporarily mad, some times even permanently...

Unique Abilities:
Protection of the Dark Fireplume: With each person's bird essentially living inside of them, though as pure magical essence, that makes it easier to call upon the powers gifted to them. With this, the user is able to call upon the powerful flames of the Dark Fireplume to protect themselves from a single spell of the same rank of the user. This includes created a wall of flames, a circle around the use of fire, or even coating their body in some type of flames to do such. The flames are only capable of protecting the user from a single spell or physical attack and after being used, have a small time before they can be used again(1 post cool down).
Dark Fireplume Weapon Creation: This ability to create a weapon made of pure flames allows Leylin to protect himself if he is rendered item-less and against someone wielded a weapon. The weapons created share the same weaknesses of his fire in general, as well as their strengths. The weapons created by Leylin are only as strong as a weapon of his requip strength would be, as well as sharing durability of the same rank. If the weapon is destroyed unwillingly, then there is a two post cooldown before he can create another.
Dark Fireplume Summoning: This is an ability granted to all the users of the Dark Fireplume, a direct connection to the ancient beast itself, even if it doesn't exactly exist anymore. Each user as a Dark Fireplume bird within their own body, one that grows stronger with the user as they grow stronger. It is similar to summoning a weapon except that there is a direct connection between the host and bird, meaning that any damage the bird takes so does the user. Although it is risky to summon one's bird, it also allows them to share vision with it as well as cast spells through them. It is rumored that, as well as growing stronger with the user, it also becomes closer and closer to resembling the real Dark Fireplume. The strength of the Dark Fireplume that is summoned correlates with the user's rank, meaning it follows all the rules and restrictions of a summons of that rank.
Wings of the Dark Fireplume: When it was alive and free, the Fireplume could easily take to the skies with large and elegant wings. Sharing a body with the host, they are able to grant this same ability to them. A pair of wings that are several feet long spread from Leylin's back, letting off a faint heat that emanates through the air. These wings grant him mobility through the air with perfect control, allowing him to still use his magic freely while moving. While flying, Leylin's speed is increased by 50% of his max speed while on ground. The wings are as strong as a single spell of Leylin's rank, being destroyed if struck by one of the same level or stronger. If destroyed, the wings have a cool down of 3 Posts, otherwise after being deactivated the wings have a cool down of 2 Posts.

Lineage:
- Shadows Of Anarchy:
Description: A child born in the shadows watched his loved ones die by bandits. The fury and rage of the child awakened dark powers within, allowing him to manipulate shadows to take on physical forms and cut, slash, or benefit the user in any way. The child transferred parts of his ability to others he deemed worthy.
Ability: The user can control shadows allowing the shadows around the user to take on a physical form attacking anything at command. Attacks equal the rank of the user’s melee damage in power +50%. Can only control shadows in a 50 meter zone. Shadow control is considered 1 effect at any given time and cannot control shadows of people or connected shadows of their equipment but could for example control the shadow of a nearby wall to attack.
These such attacks deal the user's rank in melee damage, and increases based on spell power / magic damage buffs rather than strength buffs.
Usage: 5 post duration with a 6 post cooldown(if the user’s magic is focused on shadows then this can be a passive instead). Shadows must be within 50 ft of the user in order to be manipulated. The user can also make a shield of shadows to block attacks equal to a shield/barrier spell of 1 of the user’s rank. This shield has a 4 post cooldown after use.

Description: Leylin calls upon the power of the Fireplume, shown by his hand usually becoming engulfed in the flames. These flames allow the user to heal himself, or anyone that he can physically touch, for D-Rank damage. The flames wash over the body of the target, or across the wounds, seamlessly closing any visible wounds with a line of fire. These flames can also heal internal wounds.
Strengths:
- This move requires no mana to be cast.
Weaknesses:
- To be able to heal a wound on himself, or another, he has to be able to touch them.
- Fireplume's Breath:
Name: Fireplume's Breath
Rank: Same Rank as User(Caps at S-Rank)
Type: Single Target, Offensive Fire Signature Spell.
Duration: Instant.
Cooldown: None.
Description: Leylin can release a stream of fire that leaves a part of his body(mouth, fingertips, palm, ect.) that starts off with only a few inch diameter from the point of release but eventually grows into a torrent of fire that reaches several feet long. The flames travel until they hit their intended target, clinging to the target and causing the immense burning damage. This can be done in a flashy explosion of flames or even a whirlwind, though not limited to those options. The attack deals Rank damage and follows the range/speed for burst attacks of its rank.
Strengths:
- Since Leylin controls his flames perfectly, it is possible for them to pass over someone and not cause them damage. This even goes if they are touching one another, such as a hostage situation.
Weaknesses:
- This attack cannot directly damage a person's weapon or armor.

Name: Dark Fireplume Wave
Rank: D-Rank
Type: Area of Effect, Offensive Fire Spell.
Duration: 2 Post.

Description:
Leylin calls forth the power of the Dark Fireplume into both of his hands, causing them to ignite, before slamming them together to create a flame-wave that burns and ignites everything in 15 meter radius, spreading in that 15 meter radius in only a single second. The wave of flames created stretch to 12 feet in height, making them hard for any person to normally jump over them through regular means. After the flames have spread out(In the initial post), they linger within the 15 Meter radius for only a few moments before completely dying out(one post after). This spell does up to 50% D-Rank Damage overall, 25% per turn the targets are in range. So usually 25% upon being struck by the wave and the other while still inside the burning radius.
Strengths:
- This spell can be cast instantly, so long as it does not conflict with any of the requirements.
Weaknesses:
- This spell requires the caster to use both of his hands, meaning they are unable to do anything else with them.
- For it to fit the proper range requirements, the caster needs to stand in one place while activating the spell.
- Flaming Javelin:
Name: Flaming Javelin
Rank: D-Rank
Type: Single Target, Offensive Fire Spell.
Duration: 1 Post.
Cooldown: 2 Posts.
Description: By calling forth on the flames of the Fireplume, Leylin summons forth a large amount of fire within his hand and upon making a fist around the weapon, it creates a large Javelin that is roughly 6 feet in length. With his magical and physical strengths, Leylin can throw this weapon up to a maximum of 60 Meters, traveling a total of 30 Meters per second. Meaning that it would take 2 seconds for it to reach the maximum distance. Upon contact with a target, it does a full amount of D-Rank Damage.
Strengths:
- This spell has no warm up/wind up requirements besides calling forth fire into one's palm, making it quick and easy to use.
Weaknesses:
- This weapon is purely meant for throwing and striking an enemy, meaning that if used against an actual weapon it would have no effect.
- Striking with this spell requires precise accuracy and aiming, meaning that the slightest mess up in stance or disruption while throwing can cause the attack to miss.
- Bursting Dash:
Name: Bursting Dash.
Rank: D-Rank.
Type: Burst Self Target, Supplementary Fire Spell.
Duration: Instant.

Description:
This is a quick movement spell created by Leylin that allows him to move in a quick burst of speed in any direction by releasing an explosion of flames from one of his limbs; i.e. hands or feet. This allows Leylin to move up to 15 Meters in any given direction, proving to help with last minute movements or clever planning than being helpful in a long range situation.
Strengths:
- Although the user can travel in a straight line with this ability, it is possible to use another quick burst from his hands or feet to move in a zigzag, square, ect. but only so long as it still sticks to the 15 Meter Range.
Weaknesses:
- This spell only works for a small distance, even for D-Rank Burst Spells.
- The caster can only move in a single line and cannot stop their movement early.
- Flaming Ball of Fire:
Name: Flaming Ball of Fire
Rank: D-Rank.
Type: Instant Multi-Target, Offensive Fire Spell.
Duration: Instant.
Cooldown: 2 Posts.
Description: Leylin brings both of his hands towards the center of his chest to quickly summon the power of his Dark Fireplume, creating a ball that is about the size of two baseballs combined. The maximum range this spell can travel is 30 Meters before the fireball disperses, being completely harmless. The spell crosses over 15 Meters per second, taking a total of 2 seconds to reach the total distance that it can travel. When reaching the intended distance, this attack can then explode with a simple hand motion that can be done with either hand. The main idea behind this attack is to strike multiple targets, though it could be used against a single target(albeit it much less effective). The explosion radius is 15 meters, making it effective for its purpose. This spell does full D-Rank Damage against the first target it hits and half rank damage against the rest.
Strengths:
- This spell looks like a fireball, giving the impression that it can be dodged, although that is clearly a facade for its ability to explode.
Weaknesses:
- This spell requires the user to use both hands, meaning they are slightly more vulnerable than usual when casting.
- If the user doesn't use the hand signal to cause it to explode, then this ball is harmless once dodged.

- Fireplume's Healing:
Name: Fireplume's Healing.
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Single Target DoT, Supportive Fire Spell.
Duration: 3 Posts.
Cooldown:4 Post.
Description: The Fireplume directly pours its flames into Leylin's Mana, causing him to regain strength and heal from any wounds that he suffered. Flames begin to lick and caress any surface wounds, as well as internal, healing the target. Seeing as the Fireplume pours the flames into the target, they are left immune to natural cold and the effects. With the energy of the Fireplume, Leylin regains 50% of C-Rank Damage in health per round and 5% in mana per every other round.
Strengths:
- This move heals both physical and mana damage.
Weaknesses:
- Casting this on another person causes the technique to cost Leylin 50% more Mana.
- Might of the Fireplume:
Name: Might of the Fireplume
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Single Target, Supportive Fire Spell.
Duration: 4 Posts.
Cooldown: 5 Posts.
Description: The Fireplume inside of Leylin feeds its strength to him, increasing his magical strength for a duration. When this happens, sometimes flames can become physical on Leylin's body or around his form, indicating the change. During this technique, all of Leylin's spells do 50% increased damage, allowing him to dish out more damage than usual.
Strengths:
- This buff increases magical strength.
Weaknesses:
- This move can only be cast on Leylin, given the context.
- Flaming Attacks:

Rank: C-Rank
Type: Single Target DoT, Supportive Fire Spell.
Duration: 5 Posts.
Cooldown: 6 Posts.
Description: Flowing his magic into his body, Leylin increases his physical strength by releasing a flaming burst when he strikes. Whether he is using his hands/feet or a type of weapon he can apply this buff. This spell gives Leylin's physical strikes 50% C-Rank Damage, helping him greatly in Close Quarters Combat.
Strengths:
- This spell lets Leylin do more damage with his physical blows.
Weaknesses:
- Leylin can only cast this on himself.

Name: Heat Stroke
Rank: D-Rank+
Type: Area of Effect, Fire Offensive.
Duration: 4 Posts.
Cooldown: 5 Posts.
Description: By calling on the strength of the Dark Fireplume, Leylin increases the temperature around him by a sudden amount in a 30 meter range. Everyone inside of this range takes 50% D-Rank damage, sweating and increasing in pain from the heat. Because of this, the spell can also be used to heat up himself and teammates while in harsh cold conditions, though mostly used for combat.
Strengths:
- Leylin can choose to effect certain targets or not, meaning no friendly fire.
Weaknesses:
- This spell can only be cast from Leylin's body and therefore he is always the center.
- Partial Protection of the Dark Fireplume:
Name: Partial Protection of the Dark Fireplume
Rank: C-Rank+
Type: Single Target, Fire Supportive.
Duration: 1-2 Posts.
Cooldown: 2-3 Posts.
Description: This move functions just like its stronger parent ability, Protection of the Dark Fireplume, by letting Leylin call upon the strength of the Fireplume to protect himself. As he gets stronger the more he can protect himself frequently, hence this spell. This spell can completely negate two D-Rank Spells/Attack, 1 C-Rank Spell/Attack, or 50% of a B-Rank's spell/Attack damage. The ability only works on one set, though if someone blocks a single D-Rank Attack and then get struck by a C-Rank, the latter attack is decreased by 50%.
Strengths:
- This move is incredible at helping Leylin protect himself.
Weaknesses:
- Leylin cannot use other magical spells while this ability is active, unless they are already active beforehand.
