It was such a nice day on the town, relaxing and chilling, spending his time staring at the skies above, Lester had vague plans for his relaxing holiday, spending time with himself and Val, the pet whom hung around him. The sea air pulled at his cape, dragging his hair back and snagging at the youths face, razing his hair dry from the shower which he had just washed earlier. The seafront was quite nice, he had a mild dislike for the sea, it was something which he had never been around often, after all he had grown up in clover town, running amongst forests and mountains was more the floral florists forte. Something had come in from space, these giant ship like things, yet they appeared to be slightly different, more animalistic almost these were things that seemed to blob and move, moving as if it were an animal. There were so many, 3 massive ones seemed to lead the pack, they changed hues from pinks to reds and oranges! It was beautiful, these nebula space ships based off squids by the looks of it. Squishy squishy, gosh he was in an odd mood but it would be so wonderful to take on, perhaps he could stuff them all, after shrinking them down, just take them home and give them to Theo perhaps, he liked cute and squishy things. Oh look ten little ones! Adorable! Amazing! Yes yes yes yes yes yes oh yes he wanted one of course he did this was wonderful! Oh positively great, fantastic, eyes a little bloodshot he had hardly slept the past few days Lester rolled down his sleeves, the shirt was a few days old despite having a shower earlier, the jagged motions of rolling sleeves down covered up a few pin pricks, their red little bumps standing out from the smooth milky white of his forearms. Pupils a little dilated as he glanced up the cutesy little spaceship squid things started to descend into the town!

The sloth on his back tightened her arms as he laid his arms across the staff by his side, smooth yet crinkled the wood was, at the first moment it would seem smooth, yet as he grew more used to it his fingers found texture in the grains. Crawling up the wall he managed to scramble to the higher areas of the town, perched on the side of a roof a cackle escaped him. ”Ha, ha, he he he he ha.!”  Oh gosh yes this was wonderful! The squid ships were  changing  colour. Oh pretty indeed, he felt a little, offensive almost, as if he wanted to squish these! A finger pointed towards the first of the descending big three, Val poofed off with the suddenness of a spring frost. She appeared all around them, one then two, just popping around she scratched and poofed, boinked and binked around he managed to get his own bow string back, firing arrows into the beast, pudding there was one in the eyes, they all clustered there like little pokey in a packet, another one, of course the squids were too large and slow to get to him. He managed to take one down just as Val did the same, ”Oh joyful! Truly wonderful that powder was amazing this was so chill!” Gosh his mind had started to meld into his mouth, he could hardly help himself, singing softly, softly mentioned random thoughts and humming some old pop song from an idol whom probably now worked in some random store. Humming softly he cast a couple of spells towards the incoming mob, the mob of smalls, Pollination dust settled over them, halting all of them in their tracks as they slowly stopped moving, trying to wriggle in the shimmering dust. A tower nearby would take him high enough, feet pushing off, leaping off flat surfaces, his bow still stretching and twanging softly, ”Val come here!” She was keeping the last big squid busy, not exactly killing it just keeping it busy. Yet she poofed over, jumping to him with a soft squeak squeak lefter grinned, ”Since I have no other allies at the moment my only friends are you and this magical sparkling dust powder! Oh these crystals are great value but here I need to buff you you sweet sweet darling ha he oh.” Fingers worked wonders, she had taken a few hits here and there, blood soaked out of her green fur, coating some of it the green fur turned into a horrid hue.

Oh gosh no she couldn't’t die, blossoms reign perhaps? Yes and floral union those spells would be good, they healed and gave a few buffs so at least she could finish that other one off, even if it did take some time. The spells had healed her, but they both felt rather sore, it was madness, the streets below had people clamoring for help. The squids still in a state of immobilized stasis he hugged her closer, mumbling the half coherent words of an addict as his spell charged up. Wait no, this was single target shit. He had thought it was an area of effect but this one no no this was bad, his brain was a mess, phasing in and out, this was just supposed to be a day of relaxation and fun! The thorns exploded from the grounds below, damaging the city a fair amount as some of the squid farthest away from him started to slightly move, vines encircling the largest squid it grew forth, sending arrows into the squids eyes as Val lept over and started to claw at it the tentacles lashed out, unable to move with a flower blooming and suffocating it he watched in pure horror as one of the tentacled managed to pluck Val out of the air, he screeched, only for a moment before he realized it was merely a green rubbish bag and val, val was there?! She had poofed and cast her evil rawr across all the enemies in the area, it was perfectly timed as always and she managed to slow all the tiny little squids down. Oh how sweet, she kept trucking on despite dying!

They fell from the sky quite easily, val simply killed a little squid them jumped onto the next one, jump dead, jump dead, well not quite but it was simple like that, with his bow and arrow, then healing her and buffing her it was quite the duo, or at least he had thought that until the greatest oversized squid ring had teleported to him. Squish, he felt half the health and life he had be squished out of him by it, wriggling away he bounced around, luckily the multiple defense spells he had added up, tree! There! A church nearby had a garden on top of it, eyes bloodshot. Soon his hand rested on the bark of the two trees as they came to life, the squid had come towards him, val bouncing around and attacking and fighting with a tentacle as it plugged towards him, launching life vines towards the squid he swung it wards the oversized dinner, dragging it down the spire of the church impaled it, skewering it through like some sort of dinner waiting to be fried the two trees from his lineage crawled up and began to batter the squid whilst he sunk his dagger into it, Val shredding it with claws his brain had softened into a mush, the tentacle ripping open his back as his knife slid out and he tumbled to the ground, the dirt getting into his cuts as he giggled, chuckling at the slightest thing and the dead squids around him.
