    The heat was amazing.

The night lit up with bright light as the building before her blazed in the darkness. Fire pouring out every opening, a litter of bodies scattered around it. There weapons lie still in the mud beside them, their armor soaked with red. These were Rune Knights. Well, not anymore. They WERE Rune Knights anyways. Now they were nothing but food for the crows. Their barracks wasn't much of a barracks now anymore for that matter either. Just a fun way to pass the time. Mythica, walked out of the smoke surrounding the building, stretching her arms and yawning. That's when her clock eye caught something fairly peculiar. One of the bodies... Wasn't just a body? It struggled. Trailed through the mud. She gave a curious smile and strolled towards the wounded knight. It appeared as if he had something clutched in his other hand... Upon getting closer Mythica knelt down and picked it out of his hand. He struggled to grab it back from her, but a quick kick in the gut made him wheeze with pain and slump to the muddy ground, breathing heavily. It was a small piece of parchment... Was this what she had been searching for? "You guys are more resourceful than I thought you were! What a nice surprise. I was afraid I may have destroyed this along with the rest of you..." Her voice trailed off as she opened it forcefully and gazed at the writing... Her golden pulsated with excitement, the clock hands ticking faster. "Mmmmmm...." Was the only sound that could escape her mouth as scanned the document. "Your country thanks you for your service!" She proclaimed, looking down at the soldier who had turned himself onto his back to face the witch. What he saw terrified him. Mythica lowered the paper and extended her free hand, a long musket manifesting in her palm. She pointed straight towards his head. "Wai- Wait! Don-!" His cry was cut short by the sound of a single gunshot that echoed throughout the surrounding area...

The only sound now was burning wood as Mythica blew the smoke from her gun's barrel, before making it vanish once again. "Wow. Even when I give them special treatment with a quick death, they whine like the rest of their friends." She spoke to herself with an irritated tone. It was obvious by the way the bodies in the area were shaped and contorted, they did not receive simple "bullet wounds" that caused their deaths. Something else happened to them to twist their bones. Satisfied with her work, Mythica began to hum a tune to herself as she casually threw the piece of paper into the flames... A dark smile on her face as the building began to crumble.

Chaoris Orneis was not sitting upon his throne at this current time, nor was the God residing in his own realm. The rivers of blood had been too calm on what was this night in Earthland, and he had gone out to strike at a village that was meant only for peace to bring forth the raging tide here and inside his own realm. The spiked collar around his neck would remain unseen underneath his full suit of armor as he silently trod his way across the solid ground of the planet that needed to feel the power of what some were calling the "Sinner of Wrath." If only they understood that he was the god of what he did. How could one sin when he was doing what he was meant to do? And he was not wrathful, he simply incited war and constantly searched for it, yearned for it. His influence had grown, cults growing around his name and deeds, and soon he would have more people following and worshiping him than the rest of the world was ready for. If not he could simply spread his influence to other worlds, other galaxies even, and continue on in his great crusade across existence.

With The Bloody Lance in his right hand and Blood Fang in his left, the God of Blood would make his trek towards the village until he began to hear, and feel, the sounds of battle. A brisker walk would begin, though would stop for a few moments when he came across a few men that decided to try and rob him. They were clearly unprepared to deal with someone that could control blood like he could, given with how surprised they were when they found they could not move and then were beheaded quite soon after. With them taken care of, their bodies being left in the dirt where they fell, Chaoris would make his way to a small battlefield that had been the place the battle he had heard going on had taken place. The flames licked at the form of a building and lit up what was left of the scene. Bodies were scattered about, no longer alive to be called people, and a lone person was left standing among the batch of death. Had they been the cause? Or were they the lone survivor? There was only one way to find out, and Chaoris was now moving towards them to figure that out. He would not hide his power, nor his presence as a god, as he approached close enough to learn that he body was that of a female he was coming up to.

Upon getting close enough, which was far enough away to be heard and still react to any violent act she might try to do against him, the God would speak up in his deep voice that seemed to rumble with each syllable spoken. "Is this chaos caused by you, girl? Or have you simply come across this scene? If you have done this, would you care to join me in an attack on Peace Village? A place of cowards, pacifists through and through. As the God of War I can not permit such a place to remain as such without it going against my being as a whole. If you do not wish to you may walk away, it is not your fight anyway." The God did not know if she would know who he was, but he would not directly state who he was either. It would become clear soon enough if she came with him after all, Chaoris would announce himself to Peace Village before he even entered the Village directly.

As Mythica meandered her way towards the treeline, her thoughts dazed off into the night as she hummed a playful tune to herself, her hands behind her back as her boots sloshed through the mud. But soon, her senses picked up something peculiar... Something very odd. Another presence. Another survivor? Her humming stopped suddenly, and Mythica stood still in the shadowy light produced by the fire. Her face cracking into a wide grin. She heard a voice addressing her now... And did not sound anything like the pitiful moans for mercy from a nearly dead Rune Knight. No, there was actual power behind this tone. It was deep, and dark. Her actions had attracted yet another troublemaker to her doorstep. How interesting. The entire time Chaoris spoke, Mythica did not move. She stood perfectly still, staring ahead with her head slightly bowed. He asked the woman if she wanted to join him in an attack on the Peace Village. A place of cowards, he called it. An interesting offer to say the least, but who exactly was this man? Why did he care about asking for help? She could sense enough power within him to rival her own, so why bother with assistance? He then went on to explain he was a God of War. After he finished, Mythica remained silent for several moments before bursting into a giggle... Her broken mind playing all the outcomes. She finally turned her head to give the self proclaimed god an absolutely maniacal grin on her face, her golden clock eye ticking with excitement. One look alone was enough to come to the conclusion that this woman had lost her mind. "You want.. Lil o'l me?" She asked. And before the God of War could answer, Mythica was gone in a flash... And reappeared right in front of the armored figure. It wasn't until Mythica had actually turned around that she knew what the man looked like. He was a towering figure clad in armor. Something she assumed any god of war would wear. She'd stand on her tip toes with her hands behind her back to try and peer into his helmet. "Strange things appear in the night... I wonder how strange you are!" She giggled before she stood straight again, looking up at him. To answer his earlier questions, even though it may have been a little late by this point, Myth turned her gaze to the burning building.

"Oh, yes! Poor souls had something that didn't belong to them... SO I TOOK IT BACK... With blood and bullet... And uhh.. Maybe some magic? YOU BE THE JUDGE!" She couldn't stop herself from laughing again. But as quickly as she started, she stopped again and stared at Chaoris with a completely straight, emotionless expression again. "Peace village, eh? Why bother getting help? I can obviously tell you don't need it..." She said again, stepping to what many would consider uncomfortably close...

Silence. That was all that this female would give him for a brief moment before she would burst out into a fit of giggles. How was this funny? Or maybe she was as insane as some of the followers he had under him. A few moments later would have him looking into a face that was giving him the most maniacal grin that was possible for most faces. She was most definitely insane, though that was not an issue at all for the God that she was grinning at. The mind was a fickle thing, and even the most insane of people could offer worship to Chaoris with the concepts that he was the God of. This one would ask if she wanted little old her before seemingly teleporting to be in front of him before going up on her tiptoes to look up into his helmet. She would talk about strange things appearing in the night, and speak of the wondering that was how strange he would be before giggling yet again. Chaoris would not attack, he knew she would not be hostile just yet with how she was acting, and then she would explain herself a bit before trailing off. In between laughing spells, the girl would eventually step in really close to him before questioning and commenting on his mentioning of Peace Village.

Not wanting to keep her waiting for a response, Chaoris would immediately answer. "Yes, Peace Village. Your response to this reminds me of a follower of mine, she goes by the name of Nyx. She asked the same things of me as well, and you will get the same answers as her. I do not need the help of any being for a fight, but as a God that holds the concept of honor under his realm, I allow those around me the honor to fight at my side as well as allow them to honor me in kind. I could simply destroy the village with an army of my own creations, minions from my own realm, but I have chosen to do this one on my own. As I said, you are free to leave without worry, but if you wish for bloodshed and combat you are welcome to join me." The last few words would be said as he stepped around the girl and began walking towards Peace Village. They were not that far off, and Chaoris had nothing else to say to the girl unless she had more questions to ask of him as they traveled the rest of the way. Would she follow him, or would she continue on her own path? Who knew, but even if she scoffed at him and trailed off on her own she would still be considered a worshiper so long as she continued as she was currently.

The self proclaimed god answered Mythica almost instantly, and with far less emotion than she thought he would've. Odd. Most people would find Mythica's whole demeanor off putting, and that was reflected in their reactions with every encounter. However, this man was not like most people she had met. He said he was a god, but Mythica wasn't quite sure whether that was entirely true or not. What reason would a god have for descending onto the mortal plain and causing havoc to the populace? Well, there was still the fact he mentioned his domain was war. So that could've been the reason why he had taken an interest in Earthland. Fiore was far too peaceful for Mythica's tastes. She was glad she wasn't the only one who thought so. He'd answer her question by admitting to her that he didn't actually needed Mythica's help. No surprise there. He just wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to having another blood spilling companion at his side while he destroyed the village. Mythica could've guessed that was one way to help spread your influence as a god. If this mysterious figure was indeed what he said he was. She could've sense an overwhelming force one would probably expect from a god, but for all she knew he could've been masking it.

After finishing his final sentence, he then proceeded to walk around Mythica back towards the woods in the direction of Peace Village. Her golden eye followed him closely as trudged across the dirt. She flicked her optics towards the burning building once again, and then back towards him. She smiled again and then vanished in a yellow flash. She'd reappear right next to the armoured figure and walk next to him with her hands behind her back and the same smile across her expression. "As long as it'll be fun! Although I doubt you have much time for that?" She chuckled. She had no idea if a god considered spreading his influence fun, or just a menial task. Although it could be both. After all... Mythica loved her work.

As proceeded to walk through the woods alone he began to wonder if this girl would actually come along with him or not. She was mad, but he could not tell just how crazy she really was. Some were so far gone that even his words could not pierce into their crazed understandings. Would she be like that, or was she catching the meaning of her words? The questions would be answered moments later when he would feel her suddenly grow closer as a yellow flash showed up. The same smiling would look up at him as he turned his head to look at the female that decided to come with him to Peace Village. The girl would tell Chaoris that as long as it was fun she would join, and then would question his time for fun for some reason. Did she believe that a god could not have fun? Maybe she was one like Lucie or Advent that did not believe in the existence of gods when they had met first met him. Some could change, slowly believe because of a growing faith due to seeing what he and others with him could do. Others would stay on the other side, never really believing him but still knowing he was powerful anyway. Either way, people learned in the end that he really did enjoy what he did. It was because of her statement being said aloud that he would actually respond to it.

"Oh, it will be fun. There will be combat, bloodshed, death. A true combat. Those in Peace Village, if the village remains after, will never forget what we have done here. I know they will not just go down without a fight, even if they swear pacifism through and through, and bringing their lies to light will be icing to the madness. I will always have time for fun, for everything within my realm of influence is something I have always found fun." They were coming closer to Peace Village now, and soon Chaoris would be able to give a small announcement of his arrival before laying waste to the heretics that lay inside their homes. "You may call me Chaoris if you wish. What shall I call you, before we step into a battlefield side by side?"

Chaoris told ensured Mythica that the experience as a whole would be quite fun. Well, Mythica personally had no doubts about that herself, but based on what she had seen so far of Chaoris, she wasn't entirely sure he could feel fun. That may have sounded strange, but it wasn't that unheard of. during her time in Fiore, Mythica had met many a boring soul (mostly wizards) that contained no emotion, or tried very hard to hide it anyways. As such, it never seemed they allowed themselves to feel the thrill of what they loved. Which in turn made them somewhat boring people to hang around with. Luckily for Mythica, this man glimmered with a sense of hope that suggested he wasn't like those. Despite his responses being somewhat rigid (compared to Mythica's random nonsense) he was at least able to confirm with his own mouth the situation in which he was in. What his standing on the matter was, anyways.

The god listed what exactly would happen when they got there, and Mythica was obviously no stranger to any of them. She liked the way he thought. But Mythica hoped at least one thing was made clear during their assault. The source of all power in this world, the one thing that truly gives one strength. The ability to manipulate fear. Something Mythica reveled in the thought of. Magical strength meant nothing if nobody bent to its will. As such, the only way to truly dominate the minds of others was to make them fear you. Even if they didn't realize it, anyone with any sort of authority in this world was a practitioner of imposing fear on those who followed them. Whether they claim their followers do so out of respect or faith, it was all a lie. In the hearts of every single follower in this world was the fear of what their leader would do or think if they refused. Mythica had much experience in this field, and thought it best to teach everyone what fear meant. And show them just how powerless they all were.

Mythica had gotten lost in thought after Chaoris finished speaking for a moment, a dark grin on her expression as she stared ahead. That's when her mind snapped back to reality, and she looked up to the armoured figure next to her with a curious glance. It took a moment for her to remember what he had said, and then quickly recalled. Ohohohoh... This one is known as Mythica, but my friends call me Myth!" She paused for a moment looking ahead with a puzzling glance. "Or they would... If any of them were still alive... Or had existed in the first place!" She exclaimed somewhat suddenly, smiling widely with bright teeth at the god of war next to her.

There was a long pause of silence after Chaoris Orneis finished his little speech for the girl that was with him. Had she even caught what he had said? Was she simply lost in thought? Was she even going to put up a response if she had understood the words coming out of his mouth? It was when they were almost at the spot that the God of Blood wished to speak at that the crazed female would finally introduce herself. Mythica, an interesting name to say the least, and her nickname was simply the first half of her name. She would go on to tell him that she had no friends, alive or otherwise, though that was something that really was not anything of importance to remember right now. "A pleasure to meet you, Myth. I am honored to have you fighting by my side when this battlefield erupts into combat. We are about to arrive, and then I shall do all that I have planned for this moment." It was maybe a minute or two more before he stopped in his tracks, just outside the entrance of Peace Village. It was time for the end of pacifism for this village, and soon a raging fire would begin as blood spilled along the streets of the place while screams burst from those in their death throes. First, he was to speak and announce himself. To do otherwise would be dishonorable!

"PEACE VILLAGE!" The words would have the entirety of his power as a god behind them as he shouted, the words clearly reaching the entire village and echoing out to any that might be around. "Your days of pacifism and cowardice are at an end. I, the God of Blood, Battle, Skulls, and Honor have come to show you the truth of existence. There is only war! Come forth and fight! Or find your homes demolished as you hide in fear!" With his words finished, Chaoris would give a battle roar as he prepared both of his weapons. A metallic sound would ring out from the trees before his pet roared as well. The Sight of Suicide would not be participating in this fight, he would instead be catching those running away to either scare them back or kill them himself. With the battle roar continuing he would charge into the village, to those that would meet him in battle and save this village by breaking their own pacifism.

Would come true However They forgot to mention
    yournightmares were
    Dreams too
The god of war seemed oddly pleased with Mythica. Not something she would've expected from him, and not from something as simply agreeing to join him on his little escapade. Sure most people would've been thrilled to have someone of Mythica's standing to assist them, but that was not the original impression she had received from the armoured man. As strange as it was, she probably shouldn't have been too surprised by this point. He did, after all, go out of his way to ask her if she'd like to join him.

As soon as the pair came upon Peace Village, the God of War did not hesitate to make their presence known. Not the approach she personally would've taken, but he offered to take her out so it was alright just this once. Usually whenever Mythica was bored enough to simply attack a random village, she liked to keep the element of surprise. Completely wasting someone in the street at random, or causing a massive explosion in the town square. The surprised gasps and expressions of those around were simply hilarious to her. Chaoris, however, seemed to take a more direct approach. He openly defied the law before them, and told all exactly what he had planned to do. Straight to the point it seemed. While that wasn't the way Mythica would usually handle things, she supposed everyone had their own way of having fun. Of course, the sudden roar in the distance caught her attention and she looked at the tree line curiously. This man had some sort of beast at his beck and call? This just got a lot more interesting.

She turned towards Chaoris with a childish smile and then looked back towards Peace Village. By now some of the residents had begun to come out of their houses to see what the cause of all the commotion was about. It was late, after all. The moon hung high in the sky above the town. Most of them had probably been asleep. What they saw did not please them. An insane looking woman with a glowing clock for an eye, and beside her a towering figure wearing demonic looking armour. To top it all off with the roar of some unknown beast... They knew it was about to get bad, if Chaoris's words weren't enough to sway them of that fact already.

"Well then, o God of War. I'll see you on the other side!" She said with a sinister grin before extending her hands. A long musket appeared in a yellow flash in one, and a flintlock pistol appeared in the other. She raised the musket above her, and shot a yellow bolt into the sky. With an explosion of light, the entire village was temporarily blinded... And Mythica was gone. Presumably to join the fray.

It would not be long now before the defenders of this village would meet them in battle! Those that ran would either die to the Sight of Suicide or be scared back towards the village proper. Mythica would give a little comment about seeing him on the other side, though Chaoris was already long gone from speaking any more in the conversation for the time being. With weapons out, Chaoris would fire the Bloody Lance into the open air to make more noise with the loud weapon, alongside a sudden blinding light, as he began to see a rather large group of people coming out to stop the duo that was challenging them now. "Finally! Some of you are not as cowardly as the rest! Come forth and fight us, all at once if you must! Show me your bravery and fall in battle to save those you hold dear!" The words would echo out, his mechanical pet howling in the background adding a chilling effect to the small blurb as he began to dodge spells being tossed at him. Right now there were eighteen in total, though not all of them went for just a single of the two. They seemed to split evenly, nine for each person, and some were trying to help villagers run or hide before they went after their respective opponent. For now, this would leave Chaoris with four mages to fight, a woefully low number to try and deal with him in this type of situation.

The first of the four would be the one throwing missiles of fire at him, the fireballs being dodged easily as he used his speed and strength to avoid the highly visible attacks. The second seemed to be a mage of light, a terrible thing really, and after a single spell was hurled at him and eaten they would realize it was not a good idea to throw more of their spells at the god. To them it would appear just like a slayer of that element was there, which he basically was, and to use more light spells would simply feed him more strength. The other two seemed to be a healer and a buffer, staying in the back to help the other two as they tried to fight him. Unfortunately, the healer would not have a chance to do their job with the fire mage. The God of Skulls would make it in front of them, Blood Fang swinging at the size of a greatsword to cleave the woman in half at the hips even as he put a bullet into the falling upper half to shut down the brain to keep from extending her already shortened life. A few gasps would tell him the other three had realized how dangerous this was, and that they might put up a better fight now. The light mage broke out a sword, though this sword would prove to be too weak when it clashed against Chaoris's mythical sword. The sword of the light mage would shatter even as his sword continued to slice her head off at the neck. The blood would absorb into his body, empowering him further, even as he aimed his gun at the two mages that were beginning to turn and try to run. A burst of explosive bullets would spit out from the weapon and leave the two in nothing more than bloody chunks of meat and intestines on the street and walls of the village even as he made a battle roar. Four were dead, more would be soon. The God of Blood was ready to kill everything in his path if necessary, though that would likely not be needed this day at the rate this village was now fighting against them.

Post by Mythica 31st March 2018, 3:27 pm

Despite the implication that she may have began fighting right away with her earlier statement, Mythica did not immediately join the battle. With the light that shone bright above them, and vanished just as quickly, Mythica had gone with it. But she did not appear in the center of the village. No, she instead chose to perch herself atop a clock tower. From this height she could get a good view of the entire town, and the destruction the self proclaimed god would soon cause. This action wasn't out of any strategic thinking. Mythica could've easily thrown herself at the enemy if she felt like it, similar to how Chaoris was doing. Although she felt like doing something different today. While it was rare for anyone to want to interact with Mythica, she found it even stranger that said person was a god. Or at least claimed to be. Sure she may have been living her life to the god's liking, but that wouldn't change the fact that Mythica had sneaking suspicions. She didn't doubt the existence of gods, but she doubted their interests in taking on mortal forms and directly causing chaos with the world. The place they lived was already pretty fucked up, Mythica doubted a god would really need to intervene themselves to spread the actions that gave them power. Especially not the god of war and bloodshed. There was a lot of that going around recently. As far as Mythica was concerned, anyways.

She sat atop the tower and gazed at the town below, her legs dangling off the edge as she hummed to herself. She was eyeing the man carefully. She wanted to witness firsthand whether or not his power was worthy of being called divine. She observed him carefully under the moonlight. The people not taking any notice of her as many fled from their homes in order to confront this new threat. Mythica simply chuckled at the site. Even if he wasn't a god, she could still feel the power in him. These people really were screwed. While she could've used her precognition to predict this, she was still very surprised at what she saw.

Below Chaoris handled himself admirably. None of the four mages stood a chance before the towering figure of metal and malice. And what interested Mythica even more was seeing him consume their magic. Was he indeed a slayer? One of the legendary beings of Earthland that could in fact eat magic? Could he both a god and a slayer at the same time? A million questions ran through her head as she watched from above... But all were cut short when the sound of yelling drew close. For a moment Mythica took her eyes off the battle below and turned her head in the other direction. In the streets she saw a large group of armed men and mages herding villagers to safety. That didn't do. That didn't do at all! Sighing with irritation, because Mythica knew she had to stop watching the battle between Chaoris and his fodder unfold, she reluctantly stood up and stretched her arms out, yawning in the process. And with another flash... She was gone.

"This way! Quickly!" A guard yelled as he led the pack of villagers through the streets. "S- Sir! Above!" Another yelled. He stopped and turned upwards to see Mythica's shadow a little too late. With a powerful crash, Mythica landed right in front of the group! A shock wave of magic bursting from her feet as the stone path beneath her cracked! The shock wave was strong enough to knock everyone over, but not cause any real arm. She stood over the group with a hand on her hip, and a glint of sadism in her eye. "We're not done playing just yet!" She said with a light smile. The men grunted and pulled themselves and the terrified villagers to their feet. A few mages and armed guards stepped closer, getting in defensive stances. "FInd another way out! We'll hold her off!" The apparent captain yelled to his subordinates. They hesitated for a moment, staring at Mythica. Something about this oddly dressed girl terrified them. Before long, though, they shook the feeling and obeyed, instructing the villagers to follow them as they took another path. Mythica's blocked by 4 foolish men. She simply waved at the group as they ran off. "Don't worry, I'll see you later!" She told them with a somewhat childish tone before turning back to the group before her. The clock eye ticking quickly. She did not move, instead waiting for her enemy to do so first...

After a few seconds, they finally got up the courage to attack her. The guard charged forwards, yelling as he attempted an over hand strike. Mythica simply ducked and sidestepped the blow, and the next, and the next. She seemed to know exactly where he was going to attack before he did! With expert precision she dodged every attack, until finally issuing one of her own. She quickly lifted a hand and caught the wrist of the guard mid swing, and what he failed to notice before hand was that her pistol had appeared in her palm beforehand. With his chest exposed, she released a flurry of shots! They ripped through his body, shooting out his back and into the stone buildings behind him. He stood still with his eyes wide, coughing once before falling to her feet. Mythica looked up again at the remaining three who were hesitant from the start to fight her. Fear truly was the most powerful tool in the world, wasn't it?

Their screams echoed through the streets as Mythica darted between them, her speed faster than eye could see! Expertly dodging magical attacks as she fired back ones of her own, before following up with a powerful melee attack to finish them off! Landing a precise head shot in one of the wizards, she flashed towards another, staring up at him with a dark smile and shoving her musket to his chin, before blowing him away! The gore splattered across the ground as his lifeless body fell to the cold stone. Before her now was one terrified swordsman. He sat on the ground, staring up at her wide eyed as both the weapons smoked and her eye ticked on. Before Mythica could even say anything creepy, the man yelled and got to his feet, running away frantically. Mythica hoisted the musket over her shoulder and watched him run.

As he turned the corner of a building, he looked back to see if Mythica was following her. He was relieved to see she wasn't... And then a bright light appeared in front of him. He turned and stopped suddenly to witness something. A massive clock face floated in front of him, glowing intensely. The hands then extended suddenly and darted forwards! The man didn't have a chance as he backed up, but the clock hands twisted their way around his legs and waist, lifting him up in the air! With one massive swing they threw him upwards! He screamed in terror as he flew through the air, high above the village for everyone to see. He finally made impact in front of a group of fleeing citizens, his bones and life breaking instantly...

Post by Khorne 1st April 2018, 1:41 am

The God of Blood could feel the death of those that the girl named Mythica was fighting. Though to call this massacre a fight was almost a joke. No one here had a chance, but the fact they were willing to fight now would allow many of them to live. Well, they would live if they did not try to turn tail and run like cowards. Some that were running could be heard dying, their death howls as Sight of Suicide tore through them with mechanical teeth and chainsaws ringing out from the other side of the village as they attacked the most peaceful town on this planet. It was a village that marred the planet, not the only one to do it but it was the biggest one at the current time. Now that they were fighting back they would be less so, and that meant he would hit something else next time rather than hit them again. Another roar of battle would be made as Chaoris did a warrior's charge at the next magical being he sensed, bringing him face to face with five more mages that were on their way to him. "You fight a God! Show me your strength, save those you hold dear! Be the hero you believe yourself to me, shed your blood and show me your power!" Pure hatred filled the area as he said these words, the battle rage that the Chaoris Orneis was known for going fully into effect as he swung down the greatsword sized Blood Fang in an overhead strike as he held it in his left hand. The chainsaw to his Bloody Lance would rev at the press of a button as he swung it at an angle at another that had gotten a bit closer to try and strike him as well, the rapidly moving blades beginning to chew through flesh and bone with a sickening sound to those around even as his other weapon sliced cleanly through the first mage from head to toe. Bone, muscle, nothing halted the progress of the weapon as he roared in a challenge. The chainsaw would get halfway through the other mage before he fired off two rounds and blew apart the rest of the body with the explosive rounds. The chunks could not even start to hit the ground with a meaty slap before the last three mages found themselves being charged by the being that claimed to be a god.

If only they had really believed him, they may have called for a mage with a god slaying magic so that they could actually hurt him a bit. No one here had such a magic, and this he would allow himself to begin to take the hits without losing so much as a speck of the speed he had gained as he charged towards them. One of the mages would bring up shields and forcefields, ones easily smashed or shot to pieces before he reached them. A final forcefield would be erected as he went to do a shoulder charge to the closest mage, the magically charged wall sputtering out as it somehow managed to stop him in his tracks. While it managed to stop him, it did not manage to stop his control of their blood on the other side. The shield mage would find himself instantly exsanguinated as his blood erupted from all of his pores and swirled into a crimson twister around the other two that he was facing. The demon slayer possessing God would absorb some of the blood into himself before the blood crashed upon them, the substance causing them to lose both balance and grip even as the forcefield died with its creator. The flailing of limbs from the two as they tried to get up was halted by the blades and bullets that would enter their bodies until they stopped moving completely. A few civilians would try to take up arms as well, though that would end poorly for them as they had nothing to even try to think of fighting against a god currently.

With no one left to fight at the current time, Chaoris would whistle for the Sight of Suicide to come to him, the creature's android body clanging against trees and the ground as it ran to him. Buildings were annihilated, people crushed, the liger-like android made a shrill noise as it made its way to him even as he went and found Mythica. "I see you have fared well against these cowards! Soon more will come, those that call themselves the defenders of this country; the Rune Knights. We will slay all that come our way so that the world of Earthland knows that pacifists have no place in this existence! There is only bloodshed, there is only war!" The slayer magic that he had kept upon ascension kept him close to entering what most called 'force,' though for Chaoris it meant a completely different thing. It put him into his true form, albeit on a smaller scale, and he was close to doing such right now. The Rune Knights that came to fight them would likely have some form of light or blood magic for him to ingest, and then all would be over for any fighter that came against them. Few could match the strength of a god, less could handle their true form in the realm of the physical. Not only that, with the Sight of Suicide at his side he had even more power at his disposal.

The three of them were an unstoppable force at this point, nothing could halt the slaughter and bloodshed. They would soon forget of him as the Sinner of Wrath and would call him the Sinner of War. It was much closer to the god he was and would give lenience to them for acknowledging such. Disbelief was sad, and unfortunate, but to force the kingdom of Fiore to claim he really was War would cause other countries to do the same. Soon he would be able to face armies alongside Nightmare, and Mythica if she was willing to join sometime after this event came to an end! It did not have to be immediately after the slaughter that she had to join. She did not even have to officially join what most called Nightmare; a dark guild. How could one call a religious following a guild? It was a cult, though had barely any of the rules that a cult has normally. Other than following some part of the concept of Chaoris, and acknowledging his existence, there was only a few rules one had to follow. Do not be a coward, do not be a traitor, and do not worship the other gods that were all around them. It was so simple, though mortals had difficulty following simple things. It was probably why he had a lot of the insane worshipping him, they had an easier time shedding blood than most others did. Maybe one day he would get just an honorable fighter, most people did not realize that a fight to 'first blood' would still be in worship of Chaoris. He did not care from whence the blood was shed, just that it was. A drop to gallons, all was the same; though those that did it more often would find themselves noticed by him more often.

Chaoris's thoughts raced, though he kept an ear to listen to Mythica if she had aught to say, even as he could slowly begin to sense a group of people beginning to close the distance between themselves and Peace Village. It was likely the Rune Knights coming to try and stop them. How many were there? Would they send a batallion? Would they have anything strong enough to injure Mythica or his pet? All would be known soon on the field of battle, knowledge came from the fight and soon there would be more fighting upon them.

RED LIKE THE SUN! PAINFUL AS IT TOO! [JOB//CHAORIS] Empty Re: RED LIKE THE SUN! PAINFUL AS IT TOO! [JOB//CHAORIS]

Post by Mythica 2nd April 2018, 10:12 am

Not that way!" A bolt of magical energy streaked through the air above the streets of Peace Village and crashed into the base of a house in front of the group of villagers trying to flee the town. It exploded with a brilliant yellow light and soon the building's bottom exploded with fire and smoke, spilling out onto the road before them, effectively blocking their path. Staring at it with wide eyes, the villagers turned to go back the way they came, but were halted yet again by another force. Mythica stood there staring at them in the center of the road. Men, woman, and children all stared at her in terror. Two armed men charged for her, but she simply lifted her pistol and shot both square in the head before they collapsed to the ground instantly. With fire at their backs, and Mythica in front... They were trapped. Some of them began to weep, holding their children close. "Sorry guys! It's either I kill you or my tall friend does... And frankly you should be glad he won't get the chance." She said smirking. Mythica then held out both of her weapons towards the group, their barrels lighting up with yellow magic. "Nighty Night!" She said with a smile as the magic exploded from the guns.

Not long after Mythica was sitting atop a ruined house next to the fire, cleaning her weapon as she whistled the same tune. Soon her senses picked up someone coming. She smiled down at Chaoris as he walked down the street with his pet. An interesting creature, Mythica thought. When he finished talking, Mythica stepped off the edge of the roof and landed next to him, dusting off her dress from the soot and smoke and walking back to his side. "Heheh. I'm counting on it." She responded to Charois's comment about the Rune Knights coming. She had much experience with that group of the Fiore Kingdom. And even if they didn't know it, they had met her many times as well. Of course, news of the clock eye mage never reached Head Quarters because no Rune Knight to come across Mythica's path had ever made it back. She wasn't going to break that fact today, either. Not a single one of these knights would have the strength to breath after their unfortunate assignment to defend Peace Village from rampaging wizards.

Soon she heard the sound of approaching footsteps as well. They were coming from all around them. Interesting. Mythica didn't expect them to surround the duo, but they came from all sides, fairly quickly. It looked as if all means of escape had been blocked off. Mythica stood back to back with the God of War as dozens of knights blocked off the streets around them, all standing ready to attack. However, they didn't. Mythica looked around her at the knights, many of their faces blocked from their helmets. Of course, those masks didn't hide their fear from Mythica. Its scent fumed through the air. This village reeked of it. After the knights completely surrounded them, a voice called out from somewhere within their ranks. "By law of the Magic Council we order you to stand down and surrender!" Putting a hand to her hip she simply turned her gaze to look at all of them. They honestly thought either Mythica or Chaoris were ready to give up? Their commanders must've been overconfident in their numbers advantage. At least the grunts were smart enough to fear these two. Mythica could feel it as she smiled at one. "Bet I can take out more than you!" She said playfully to the god at her back. Not even waiting for a response, Mythica launched forward unexpectedly and with such force! It appeared as if the girl had stepped through time itself to instantly appear in front one of the Knights. With a magical induced kick she threw him back into several of his comrades, all of them toppling to the ground as several men at her sides started to swing their spears. She had no trouble using her agility and enhanced speed to avoid getting hit. Dodge, duck, and spin. A shot fired from her gun and a Knight fell down dead. She laughed hysterically before vanishing again...

Just as the other knights were getting up from her initial kick, they saw her along the houses, she appeared to be running on their sides! Jumping back and forth before flipping in the air above them and crashing to the ground with a powerful wave of magic! All the Rune Knights on Mythica's side were instantly thrown back, and the girl smirked, holding up the weapons. She let off several shots in random directions as she spun around, firing at all sides. Several of the Knights fell, but the quicker ones were able to summon shields that easily blocked the bullets. Suddenly three massive clock faces appeared in the air behind the girl, similar to the one that had thrown that poor man across the entire village. All of them extended their clock hands into terrifying tendrils and assaulted the Rune Knights! With half of them distracted defending against the clock hands, Mythica crossed her weapons in front of her and yelled: "Shatter hand!" Suddenly the bullets from both her weapons exploded into a million smaller bolts and rained down on her enemy! Multiple knights were overwhelmed by the tiny bolts of magic, falling to the ground as many struggled to keep their shields from breaking. Finally Mythica moved forward with the enhanced speed, jumping through time itself to close the gap between her and the group of Knights. She slid on the ground, tripping one that held a shield before leaping up in the air to deliver a kick in the face to the soldier behind him. She spun around just in time to block an incoming spear strike with the hard end of her musket, and shooting the man several times in the chest! She now proceeded to use her musket as a club, flipping it around and slamming it into the man's skull with heavy force! The impact sent him to the ground as she continued to duck, dodge, and beat her enemies with her weapon.

Mythica had sensed a powerful magic build up nearby and turned to see a group of knights that weren't distracted by the clock hands that were currently grabbing and throwing soldiers in every direction. They stood in a line and held out their hands towards the girl. Magic seals appeared in the air in front of them, and blasts of blue magic shot out of the seals straight towards the clock eyed girl. She wasted no time to hold up a hand of her own, a large yellow seal manifesting in the air in front of it! Upon impact with the yellow seal, the magical bolts seemingly reversed! THey were thrown backwards in time straight back at their opponents! Their eyes widened for a moment, not expecting this but were too late to react as their own magic hit them square in the chest, and all three were thrown back against the buildings.

Post by Khorne 3rd April 2018, 12:31 am

Mythica seemed just as eager as the God of Blood was for the showing that the Rune Knights were most assuredly going to have tonight. Knowing that one of the Eleven Sinners was attacking a village, let alone also some other that was fighting with him, was sure to cause them to at least bring a small army if they wished to even think about taking him either dead or alive. It would be shortly after she spoke that the sounds of the footsteps would begin to be heard in the air. The Sight of Suicide would make a angry metallic noise that could be seen as a territorial growl even as the sound of the encroaching militants began to surround them from all sides. Would they bring god slayers? Or were they still in denial about what he truly was? It would be safe for them to at least bring one, just in case, as they had no way other than faith to believe what he really was. Chaoris would keep his bloodied battle rage just barely contained, his body almost shaking with the anger and rage he held within the physical form that was almost too weak to contain the holy war being. Soon he could let it all loose, as there seemed to be dozens of Rune Knights surrounding them from all sides. They really had brought a small army, though it would be a shame that they would have to cut them down here and now considering the coward approach they tried to pull off at the start.

How dare they try and get them to stand down and surrender! Did they not remember the last time they had tried something like that? It was before he had ascended, when he was simply a man with extreme schizophrenia with a hyper god complex as well as a magic that backed up his claims! Him and his 'champion' at the time had killed a cowardly hostage taker before attacking the cowards that had allowed themselves to be captured so easily. Because of this they Rune Knights had tried to get him and Sharp to surrender, though that had ended with bloodied streets inside of Era. Now, even though he had ascended to be a god for the concepts he was now over, they tried to get him to do so again! Fools, cowards, heretics! When Mythica made her bet Chaoris Orneis, the God of Blood, Skulls, Honor, and Battle would gladly take it! The roar that left his lips was accompanied by The Sight of Suicides as well, startling the group that was not surprised by Mythica's leap to action.

The first few that were before him would never get a chance to react to him after his battle cry rang out, being cut to pieces by both of his weapons even as The Sight of Suicide did a lunging leap into a small crowd of unprepared Rune Knights that would be shredded beneath powerful metal claws. The claws cut through the armor like a sharpened, heated, sword cut through a stick of butter. Teeth, like long needles, would clamp over necks to take off heads even as Chaoris released a small burst of explosive bullets into a crowd of Rune Knights that had been lining up to barrage the two dark mages and his pet with magic and crossbow bolts. The Commander, having been smart enough to mix himself further into the ranks, could be heard shouting orders loud enough for the God of Blood to get a general idea of where he was. "SOS! Slaughter! Shed blood where you see fit! Kill as many of these cowardly souls as you deem fit! Cover your hide in blood as I fight their commander and cut out the roots of their organization and strategy! Changing Blood Fangs size to the size of a standard long sword would throw off the defensive dodge that the Rune Knight he charged had tried, the man being cut in half at the waist because of it, even as the armor-clad monster of a being made his way through the massive group of mages that flung spells, swung swords, and shot at him with guns and arrows. Most of the shots simply glanced off of his armor, others piercing through to lightly strike his body and simply make him more powerful and even angrier than he was every moment for it.

"Bring your commander to me! Fight me in single combat! Show these cowards your bravery and defeat me in mortal combat to save them all! Strike me down yourself and you will never have to worry about me again! Best me with a sword and show them why you are the leadership for these poor, unfortunate, souls sent out here on a fool's errand!" Those simple words were enough to break some of the people here fighting them, those that managed to do so would halt long enough to find themselves show in the head even as he never broke his stride towards the voice of the commander as it became more panicked as he moved.

"Fight him back! He is no god, he will fall here and now! Casters, fire elemental shots now! Holders, prepare the shield line! Slayers! Prepare yourselves! We know not what he truly is, so do not eat anything you do not know to be anything other than purely what you are meant to eat! If the shield line falls I will go forward and fight him! Do that and fall back, no more of you will need to die if he proves to be unbeatable today!"
The commander of these Rune Knights seemed to believe that they could stop these two beings that had attacked Peace Village. Did they really think that a plausible idea? Chaoris would be glad to prove to this man that there was no way to stop them now!

The elemental, and a few non-elemental, spells that flew at him had a few light spells mixed in, and between that and the blood he had absorbed he was dangerously close to releasing his true form for them to deal with. The slaughter of the shield line was something that would be written in history books, not one of the holder mages was able to block a single attack from the God of Blood as he released a series of lighting-fast attacks that caught each and every one of them off guard as they faced down the face of his helmet as he did so. With them out of the way they caster and slayer mages would begin to volley at him as they tried to back off from his charge so that the commander could take their place. Nearly all of them would fall by his weapons, one being exsanguinated by his perfect control over blood because of them being out of range for him to shoot with everyone else in the way. One of the few that survived to get another spell cast off at him was the light mage again, and this time the God of Blood's physical body would no longer be able to contain his power. The fleshy body he had created for himself gave way in a burst of blood and gore as a brazen clad form took its place. He was taller now, nine foot at the least, and his sword had gone back to the greatsword it had looked like before. Armor was the same though was completely brazen instead of the normal steel and cloth it seemed to be. "Fools! You bring demise upon yourselves! You have allowed my true form to partially come forth into your realm! Prepare for death, prepare for slaughter!" His voice now echoed well beyond what it had done when he had announced their presence before, and there was no way he was going to be quieter from this point on.

The rest of the mages would simply 'pop' as he removed them from between himself and what appeared to be the commander, a man that seemed to be stressed beyond what most would normally be able to withstand without passing out. The leading Rune Knight must have known he was about to die, as he simply charged Chaoris Orneis as he seemed to put a bunch of enchantments on his two blades. Sadly the fight would be a disappointing one, the Rune Knight's weapons simply being sliced to peaces with the raw brute force that the God put between the swing of Blood Fang. The look of surprise on the man's face was pathetic as he took a chainsaw to the stomach before being kicked off of the whirring blade like some kind of stray pup that had gotten in the way. The man's body would hit the ground without another noise that could be heard throughout the battle, and Chaoris would look for his next victims when he saw that Mythica was dealing with and doing to stop it. It was a wonderful thing to watch, reversing a seal they tried to wrest upon her, and now they would die for their attempt. The God's gun would shoot a single bullet between the three of them as they lay there defenseless, the explosive round leaving them as scorch marks and chunks on the ground before he nodded to Mythica and proceeding to clear out the rest of the trash that was poking at them with spear and sword. Soon the fight would be over and they could declare this ordeal as completely finished.

Blood would be everywhere, bodies and gear as well, as he mopped up what he could find due to the casualties that his pet and the clock-eyed girl had wracked up as well. It seemed like this fight would be finished without anyone living to tell about it, save for those that managed to survive by not being found in the village. They were not going to stick around to find every single one of them, there were better things to do at that point, and Chaoris would not try to stay for too much longer due to his 'mortal' body becoming a thing of the past as he entered what other slayers called 'force' for their magic. They would say they could freely cast their spells, though Chaoris already did that as he used his own holy blood to do such, and said that they were stronger than they usually were. The last part was true, given he lost his mortal form to take on a glimpse of his true self in the realm of mortals, but even then there was not likely to be a match for him here. Once he had taken his share of the kills, leaving some more for his new found ally to deal with, he would move to the body of the commander before taking his skull from his body. It would be a good trophy to scatter at the foot of his throne in the realm he fully controlled. He wondered if more would come, if others would come across them and try to stop them, or try and make them surrender again.

The God would await for Mythica to come back to him, so that he could hear anything she might ask or say before he made his leave if nothing else came across their path. If something else did happen he would gladly enter into the fray again, even if it was some kind of cowardly lot that was just here for the leftovers of the bodies or trying to enslave the survivors that made it through the attack on Peace Village. Of course, he would have no issue with slaughtering people like that. They served other gods a good chunk of the time, and used the gear and slaves for depraved acts that none deserved to bare witness to. Actually, maybe he would wait for something like that to arrive. Surely some other gods had seen what had gone down just now and would try and claim some of the glory for themselves. It would be a good lesson to teach them, to not claim stuff that another god had been the cause of.

RED LIKE THE SUN! PAINFUL AS IT TOO! [JOB//CHAORIS] Empty Re: RED LIKE THE SUN! PAINFUL AS IT TOO! [JOB//CHAORIS]

Post by Mythica 4th April 2018, 6:14 pm

From left to right, upwards and downwards, it appeared that nobody could track the time wizard's movements. She was relentless, and everywhere at once. On top of that, the Rune Knights had both her clock hands and the other wizard to deal with. They were far outmatched in this fight, even with their superior number advantage, and they finally started to realize that as the battle raged on. One by one, the knights fell before Mythica. While her friends seemed to favor the bloody approach, Mythica liked to make her kills quick and clean. Not something you'd expect from her, but this was a special case. For there was nobody here worth making examples of. She had no need to make their deaths anymore fearful than they already were. Especially not with the god of blood and his pet making short work and pieces that could be considered art among the most wicked out of the bodies that ell to the ground. As for Mythica, her opponents fell within a few seconds of her onslaught. Not thinking about their survival, only fearing what was before them. Focusing on her enhanced speed, and how to avoid taking too many hits. Of course, this scatter brained thinking usually ended up being their downfall. Too distracted with the fantasy of defeating these two, they usually became vulnerable that much faster. They were simply not strong enough to take on these two. Mythica had yet again been underestimated. She often wondered why this happened so often, but then the memory of her killing almost everyone who dared challenging her came back. The only reason the Magic Council and these Rune Knights had no idea what they were getting themselves into when they stepped in her way was because she left no survivors. Therefore the clock eyed witch was forever a mystery. And that would appear to be the case with these men as well. None would report back to their superiors tonight about what they saw. Whispers of a golden eyed woman would never be ushered within the confines of the Council building, and the clock eyed wizard known as Mythica would remain a mystery to all those that weren't as wicked as she was.

"Hold the li-!" An officer was cut short as a yellow bullet zinged through his exposed head. His armor clinking as it fell to the ground next to the men who followed him into battle. By this point, the entire street and almost half the town were in shambles. The bodies of both the innocent and the stupid were strewn across the cobblestone, their stenches mixed with fire and smoke as it climbed through the night sky above. Mythica and Chaoris were still standing, and neither showed any sign of stopping anytime soon. Finally... What Mythica had theorized came to pass. The fear of death and the power these two held got the better of the soldiers. Without thinking too much, they began to turn tail and run. While that wasn't what Mythica wanted exactly, it couldn't be helped. She may have been very confident, but that was for good reason. Reality set in when this group came to stop the pair, and it was simply too much for them to handle. Of course, there weren't all that many left. But Mythica wasn't going to let a single one escape. Smirking wildly, she decided to punish the weak willed for running from her. She was having fun, after all.

The only route of escape was between a narrow street, the rest of the roads were blocked off by burning rubble at this point. She took advantage of this, and held out her hand. The clock faces which had been wreaking havoc beforehand vanished from the air, and then reappeared in front of the small group of Knights left. THey stopped in their tracks, paralyzed in fear and helpless to stop the clock hands from sweeping them off the ground! Soon all the remaining Knights hung in the air, struggling to get free to no avail. "It's rude to run! Were you really just going to abandon the innocent lives of this town to their fate?!" She said, laughing hysterically as the confines around the soldiers continued to tighten. They let out screams and yells as their own armor began to crack their bones from the force. "Pathetic, Pathetic, PATHETIC!!" She said again as the tendrils squeezed more. "YOU WEAK WILLED IDIOTS, YOU'RE NO KNIGHTS AT ALL!" ANd with that, Mythica made a crushing like gesture with her fist and the tendrils tightened so much the satisfying sound of cracking bone echoed throughout the area. The tendrils wrapped higher up their bodies to cover their mouths as they muffled for air and cried in pain, tears of red streaking from their face. And soon, the struggle stopped...

When their bodies hung still in the embrace of Mythica's magic, she noted the blood dripping from their armor and motioned with her hand as she turned around to face Chaoris, the bodies slumping back to the earth. Twisted and contorted in a horrific way, they no longer even looked human. Especially not with the look of pain and fear still glued to their cold pale expressions. It would've been obvious to anyone now that these men did not die in the same way the others did. She took a breath, signifying she had a good workout during that conflict, and it appeared to be over. All around them, there was nothing but burning houses and the dead littering the streets. Nobody was left. "Well, I sent the message I planned to send. Although I'm not sure how effective it is with no one left to get it." She told Chaoris, putting her hands on her hips and observing the hellscape.

That's when she heard something. Not far off from the two, people were coming. It might've been her Inugami senses kicking in, but Mythica had heard footsteps. She turned her head, thinking there might've been some Knights that were still alive and making a run for it, but what she saw was not at all what she had been expecting. Across the field separating the village from the treeline, a group of very shady looking individuals approached. They were shrouded in cloaks and bore strange symbols on their clothing. This day had just gotten more and more interesting. Mythica stared at them with a blank expression the entire time as they walked towards the two. She sensed they were not at here to stop them. Not that they could anyways. If they had any intentions of fighting Mythica and Chaoris after what they had just done, they must've been suicidal. But that didn't appear to be the case this time. Finally the group of men stopped a few feet in front of them. Mythica's face still remaining completely blank. Nobody could tell what she was thinking as she stared them down. The man in the center of the group turned and looked at the carnage the pair had caused and then looked back at both of them. He chuckled.

"A brilliant display if I do say so myself. You two obviously know what you are doing." He said. He sounded strange. "My comrades and I took notice to the destruction you had caused and decided we'd like to strike a deal with the two of you..." He licked his lips. Mythica said nothing, and continued to stare at him with no emotion. "Uhh.. I- In exchange for a hefty sum of jewel.. We'd like to scour the ruins of this village and round up the surviving children and woman for our own goals." He said again, rubbing his hands together. Mythica didn't realize it before, but the implication he made wasn't a lie. Even though Chaoris and Mythica had completely slaughtered the entire army of Rune Knights, there were still surviving villagers. She didn't take notice of them until the man pointed it out. She turned slightly to the ruins of a house to see a few kids helping their parents and friends out of the rubble. She had missed a few it seemed. "S- SO do we have an accord?" He wheezed, looking at Mythica who stood closest to him. One of his minions stepped forward with a large guilded box, opening it to display the money. She looked at it blankly, and back up at him. Just who exactly were these guys? And why did they think they had any rite to the ruins of this town?

Without saying a single word, Mythica stepped forward and took the box. They handed it to her without resistance. She looked at it for a moment and then placed it down neatly beside her feet before standing straight again at the man. He smiled, assuming Mythica's gesture was an act of acceptance... Although before he could mutter another word a gun shot sounded out in the air. He stood completely still and with his mouth wide open.. A smoking hole in his skull. He fell to the ground, and much to the surprise of his friends who instantly backed up a bit, wide eyed and in shock. Mythica held out her pistol which was still smoking, but this time her face was really insane.

    "Idiots." She chuckled.

Post by Khorne 4th April 2018, 8:58 pm

Mythica would talk about being unsure about how effective her message she was sending would be received, given that everyone had been slain today. That was interesting, she had never mentioned any kind of message she was wanting to send. Had it been something to get herself noticed? Or was it some kind of threat she wanted to leave? "The remaining that hide might tell your story if they remember it through the trauma placed on their minds caused tonight. But for a message to be left it must be obvious when doing it as such. An announcement, a symbol, something that those that come across it can see. Save yourself from worry and ensure the message will pass. Then it will all go as you expect it to." The God of Blood, still in his holy form, would speak just before those that were coming to them made themselves known. They looked cowardly, smelled nervous, and their group of people with them all seemed to be afraid. What were they planning, and why were they bothering to even talk to the two that just cleared out a battalion of Rune Knights on top of the defenders of Peace Village beforehand?

Once they started talking these people lost even more favor with the God that stood before them. Did they think he was going to let them buy the leftover lives that had managed to survive the fight all the way up to now? Were they damaged in the brain, or their faculties impaired? Surely they did not think this would end well for them! It became clear that Mythica had some kind of similar thought process on this, given the shot to the speaker's head that rang out and killed him after taking the money from them and setting it down. With that done, and his current ally calling them idiots, the Blood God would speak as well. "Your actions are dishonorable, and cowardly. As the God of Blood, Battle, Skulls, and Honor, I will not tolerate your lot to continue on in this life! Die in battle, or fall our weapons as you try to run!" With that said, and the surprised individuals managing to get into motion and begin to draw weapons, Chaoris would charge the one closest to him and stab the Bloody Lance directly into his chest and fire twice. The rounds would tear him apart and continue until they hit a tree further along, exploding the tree and killing another of the cowards with shrapnel before they began to fire back. Unsure as to how many there were, the blood manipulating deity would simply fight until he, his pet, and the time clock using mage found themselves with nothing else to aim at and attack. "Cowards! Heretics! Sinners! Know the wrath of the God you have drawn the ire of!" The words would come out between gunshots, swings of sword and chainsaw, and the roars he and his pet made. Surely no one would forget what happened here. Even if Mythica did nothing to ensure his message got through they would still know of Chaoris being here with his pet. If anyone lived today they would know of the clock eyed girl as well, though whether that was what she wanted was unknown to him.

Once the fighting was over Chaoris would begin to use the blood around him to collect the skulls of the fallen to begin to create the large monument that would tell any that might not know of him that he had been here this night. The skulls were built into a throne, the bronze parts of armor being shaped using the blood to create a likeness to his current brazen armored form so that it could be sat upon the throne of skulls while also mixing in brass to ensure the throne stayed in proper form. Blood soaked all of it, as well as the mark of Nightmare being placed upon the ground in front of the throne to show the faction he held under his protection. What would Mythica think? Would she ask him about it? Would she not care about anything he had down today? If she remained curious at all he would remain long enough to give her the information she needed before he went back into the realm he called home. With no physical body he would not be able to remain in this mortal realm for long, at least for now, and would soon fade away to his own realm if he was not cautious of his remaining time. The fights had been fun, but not enough as he needed someone that could actually challenge him in single combat while not being slain immediately. That was a lot to ask for, but surely a powerful mage or another deity would one day challenge him over something. Then he would get the chance for a real fun challenge, as well as leave a page in history for the amount of devastation a fight like that could manage to create.

Post by Mythica 8th April 2018, 7:12 pm

With their apparent leader dead, the group of wizards stared in horror and shock from the action, obviously not expecting it at all. To Mythica's surprise anyway. Did they honestly expect they could just waltz up to the two of them after the job was completed and take away the remains? No, that simply would not work. Not for Mythica. Wizards who don't even have the dedication to do the work themselves don't deserve any form of reward for their lack of service. It was one thing to manipulate someone into doing something for you, but just waiting onthe sidelines, hoping to buy the prize from whoever won was just pitiful. Mythica would've respected them a lot more if they had just flat out attacked them. That was probably the dumber option, but it would've garnered her admiration. If only by a little bit higher. Although it wouldn't really matter in the end, anyways. They had revealed themselves to the two, and despite whatever Chaoris would've done, Mythica still planned on ending their lives. Not for the soul purpose of more mindless bloodshed alone, though. It was true Mythica enjoyed the thrill of battle, and death was a fun way to pass the time, but there was also other reasons as well. Charois may have been the self proclaimed god of blood, which is probably the reason why battle and bloodshed is what he craved. It was no surprise why he chose to fight these men as well. Although Mythica required, nor really needed death and destruction to encircle her at every opportunity. Not yet anyways. She wasn't sure about the limits of Chaoris's power, but her own wasn't limitless. She needed to be smart. She had plans that lay ahead. Goals. And in order to achieve these goals it was imperative that she kept her abilities and magical prowess under wraps. She could not let the magic council get wind of her, lest they label the girl as a coming storm and then her face and power is known across the kingdom. She could not let that happen. Which is why up until this point every single person who came across Mythica and had witnessed her power ended up dead one way or another. Those who weren't considered her allies, anyways. The only way to attain her future goals was to make sure she remained a secret right now. These fools had made the mistake of confirming that they had seen her in action. It would be their last mistake.

Not much to her surprise, Chaoris was in a similar mind set. (About killing off the wizards anyways) And Mythica did not let them hesitate. They may have been cowardly at first, but it appeared as if they were determined to get what they had asked for, even if it meant by force. After Mythica and Chaoris slaughtered the greeting party, across the field dark smoke pillars appeared, and more wizards came to face them. They must've figured the fact that they had all been wizards, their luck would be much better than the now deceased Rune Knight's army. Mythica was eager to prove them wrong.

Wasting no time, she rushed forwards into the fray, her two weapons appearing in hand as she jumped through time, closer towards her enemies. With one acrobatic leap, she unleashed deadly fury on the wizards below. She could admit, these guys were a lot more skilled then the previous Rune Knights they had just fought, but they weren't too much better. Not enough, anyways. She landed in front of a group, stepping through time again to appear in front of many of them instantly, blowing them awa before jumping to the next. It appeared Chaoris was having the same amount of luck as her. Despite their skill, the wizards still stood no chance against the pair. He wasn't having too much trouble breaking their lines and killing them off in wide sweeps. The diversity of the pair's fighting style ended up actually complementing each other. The dark wizards had no idea who to focus on as both were tearing them apart with ease. They attempted multiple dark magic attacks at Mythica, but she simply dodged them, or like she had done with the Rune Knights before, sent the spell flying back towards their casters. It didn't take long for the wizards to realize they were sorely outmatched, seeing as the bodies kept on falling, and their numbers kept on dropping. They were quickly losing hope, and many began to flee. Mythica was sure to snipe the ones attempting to run, and she interrupted those who tried to teleport away as well. The battle had turned into a slaughter, with only one clear outcome.

After it was over, Mythica wiped the sweat off her brow. It was a nice workout, and a welcomed surprise. She wandered over to Chaoris after her weapons vanished again, yawning and stretching. She noticed him take the blood of the fallen and use it to create a massive monument. It appeared as if he wanted people to know it was he who had committed this act of violence. As long as he kept her out of it, she didn't mind what he did with the remains of the dead. And that's when she noticed something odd. A guildmark on the ground in front of the throne of bones. She smirked. Interestingly enough, this god of war happened to be apart of a guild. And a new one if her memory served her right. She had not recognized that emblem, so it must've been new. She wondered why he had been here alone, though, if he had a guild. And judging by the fact he called himself a god, Mythica only assumed he was the guildmaster. She couldn't imagine any "god" willingly taking orders from anyone they considered lesser than themselves. Of course, that was just speculation. She still knew little about Chaoris other than his thirst for blood and war.

She rested her hands on the back of her head. "A guild wizard, are ya? Interesting! Or is it simply a cult of worship to your godliness?" Mythica asked, and soon couldn't help but chuckle to herself. For some reason, the girl always found a way to make herself laugh, even when there was nothing funny said or done around her. Her mind was truly broken. She then walked passed him over to the throne of skulls and inspected it, wandering around to gaze up at it from all sides and angles. She then put a finger to her chin, looked at it more closely, leaned in, and then tapped it lightly with her knuckle. The following sound was what one would expect from bone. Her face became happy again, and she laughed once more. She then jerked her head back towards the towering figure of armor, her golden clock eye shining and twitching as a white grin of insanity spread across from ear to ear. "Feeble minded, weak bodied... That's what they become! Nothing more than the seat of the apex! The powerless do have their purpose after all!" She blurted somewhat randomly before flashing straight towards Chaoris, standing right in front of him. She stared up at his helmet, her eye spinning with excitement. "But what does the apex have in store now?! Does the deity plan to make more thrones?" She said, laughing before spinning around again to face the town. "This one has some chores left it seems." Mythica's mood instantly changed from cheerfulness to serious as she squinted at the town. "Life still lingers... Clinging onto the last bits it can. CAN'T HAVE THEM ALERT THE ENEMY!" She turned again. "Join the hunt?" She asked, implying that she wanted to kill off the remaining survivors to keep her own identity a secret. Not that it mattered much if Chaoris did or not, though. Mythica was perfectly capable of culling them herself, but they had come this far together already... Who was she to deny him a few more skulls?

    Word count completed!

Post by Khorne 10th April 2018, 1:06 am

It was as he was finishing the monument to his deeds today that Mythica would show up to where his large form was standing. It seemed she was looking over his creation, slightly studying it and watching what he was creating before she began to ask the questions she came up with as her crazed mind thought them up. She thought him to be a guild wizard? Or a cult leader to the group? It was odd to be asked that, so he guessed he should explain it as best he could for her to understand and not have more questions about that line of thought. "I am no wizard, as I have already explained to you before. I am the God of Blood, War, Honor, and Skulls. I have cults, worshipers, followers across the galaxy. The mark you see is the mark that a special lot take upon themselves as a tattoo on this planet. As the guilds hold a special weight in this country, and this country being a major power in this world, I have allowed a guild that believes and fights with me to take form and begin to spread my influence in any way they wish. Nightmare is what they call themselves, and in exchange for joining and acknowledging me as the God I am, I grant them power and immortality so that they can do as they wish and grant me the power and influence that their deeds grant." The God would watch as Mythica looked over the throne of blood, brass, and bone, even as she went so far as to knock on it with one of her knuckles.

The noise she heard, the typical knock a skull made when tapped against, and seemed to grow happy and begin her crazy laughter after hearing the noise. Her head would seem to snap as she looked back over at the brazen god, smiling from ear to ear as she began to speak again. The clock eyed woman would talk about the people that had been killed, and how they had been turned into a throne for the apex. He assumed that the insane being before him was calling him the apex, though it was a strange thing to say as it suggested he was in the power chain when he was the ruler of the chain. He could not die, he could not be forever defeated, so how could he be in the chain of ascension at all? He was not an 'apex predator' either as he was not the top of any food chain. He had nothing to do with the food chain, nor the survival of others. He may have had others that were close to such things, but he was not such. It was almost like with Lucie thinking him of just some kind of demon or monster, as she seemed to be a type of atheist in the sense he got from her upon their first meeting. Before he could state that apex was an improper word for him she would continue on and ask what he would do now. "Apex is an improper word for me. How can I be the top of the chain when I lay outside of the chain. I am the ruler, the overseer, of the chain. Others may be the apex, but even an apex can eventually be overcome. And as for my future plans, I plan on spreading my influence to places beyond this world called Earthland. More planets each day learn of my name and power, more are soon going to learn such things. Soon entire galaxies will cower before, or follow in, my name. This throne is but a tool to show the Magic Council that I was here, and that my 'guild' on their planet still lives despite their best efforts to remove it like a blight upon their skin."

Mythica would then ask him about clearing out the survivors that were left, the woman and children that were too scared to do anything. "I have done what was needed here, those that live will wish to fight and will choose to do so willingly to try and get revenge. They will unknowingly grant me power and influence because of their deeds from here on out. They need not die, not all of them. The children will be unable to describe you, and some will be so fearful that they will barely remember my name after this is over, let alone anything about you. At the end we could even rewind their minds, use time against them, if it so required it. Do as you wish, but I am done here. Should you ever wish to join Nightmare, however, or even just work in my service, feel free to call upon me or search out one that does deeds in my name; you will not be turned away." With that Chaoris would open a portal to his own realm, walking through to plan out what he wished to do next. His job here was done, and now he needed to prepare another physical body so that he could stay in the mortal realm for more than mere moments.
