Personality: Calliope is a free spirit with a kind heart and a genuine soul. She is very compassionate toward those around her, often going out of her way to help others in need, or do things for them simply out of a gesture of friendship and thoughtfulness. She loves to make other people smile. Though she has a tragic and horrific past, her traumas have driven her toward patience and understanding rather than despair, though she does struggle with anxiety and is easily scared. One of the first things people tend to notice about her is that she is very playful and engaging, unafraid to approach strangers and to make friends with people whose names she doesn’t even know.

When it comes to fighting, Calliope can stand up for herself but she prefers to avoid physical confrontation. She tends to shy away in fear from overly aggressive people, only acting out if backed into a corner and given no other choice. However, this changes completely if she is presented with the opportunity to protect someone else, especially her daughter. She is fiercly protective of those she cares for and will fight through the fear and anxiety to keep them safe.

She does not consider herself much of a leader, finding it difficult to guide others when she has so many of her own insecurities that she is still trying to work through. However, she is a very good listener and is easily trusting of those around her, provided they have not given her a reason in the past to be wary of them. Calliope’s eagerness to assist others makes her a very reliable follower, and while she certainly draws a line at totally blind faith, she is generally willing to concede to others’ view points and set aside her own opinions to be loyal to those that have earned her respect.

• Shopping - Calliope is a bit of a girlie girl at heart, and enjoys a quiet trip to the market to see the kind of things that are available.
  
• Sweets - The quickest way to her heart is with a delicious dessert!
  
• Sunrise - The beautiful colors and the knowledge that night is over brings her a sense of peace.
  
  

Dislikes:

• Loud People - She isn’t terrified of them like she is of flat out aggressive people, but they do make her wary.
  
• Bland Food - Few things are as disappointing as a subpar meal that fails to tantalize the pallet!
  
• Fighting - Calliope would rather people just be friendly to each other at all times.

• Stability - So much of her life was robbed from dissociative blackouts. She just wants to reach a place where she feels normal, safe, and moderately in control of herself.
  
• Her daughter- Calliope loves to take care of the people around her, but the most important of them all is her daughter.
  
• Curiosity - She is very inquisitive and loves to learn new things, see new places, and meet new people.
