Outside of Battle-
Leylin is a man who walks on the very line of the Karmic Balanced Scale, wielding two very different personalities in his day to day to life. Leylin is a man who had been plagued by darkness since his early ages, when his struggling family had been attacked by a group of desperate bandits, where what little they did own was ransacked completely. It is easy to see how something like that could change a young boy but it had only gotten worse. Seeing just how little a small life like his own was worth to others, it was clear that he could only put his life in his own hands. It wasn't long before a once loving boy had been corrupt by the ways of the world, turning cold and calculative. It no longer became a game of how he could help people or benefit others, but how he could personally benefit the most from each situation that he came across. If the risks a situation had was much higher than whatever the rewards were, there would be no way he would risk his life. But this type of calm decision making is something he hides underneath a well played persona that he has created.
Leylin is a master of manipulation and mental warfare, or that is what he likes to think. Despite his true personality, he has managed to hide this from all the people in his life until the very last moment. In his day to day life, Leylin pretends to be a traveling nomad with nothing but good intentions and smiles for those around him. His charming smile, usually accented by his unusual sense of manners, is a great tool in disarming those around him and allowing him to plot to his heart's content.
Inside of Battle-
Due to his sharp mind and usual incentive to try and manipulate people, Leylin is known to be perceptive and quick on his feet. Although his exterior personality is known for being nice and caring, it doesn't stop a piece of him from leaking out once battle breaks out. Afterall, the most important thing to Leylin is his life, any amount of riches paling in comparison. He rarely runs in without thinking of a plan and won't stay around in a fight that he is aware that can't win. Pride is a man's ultimate weakness, it is a good thing that Leylin has no need for such petty thoughts. So long as he can come out on top, even if this means by resorting to underhanded and dirty tactics, then it doesn't matter what the act may entail.
Even with him being willing to do anything to get a win, it doesn't mean that the male is weak in any sense of the word. But he has, and always will, believe that Brains will always trump over Brawn. This is not to say that he is incapable of using his own pure, brute force to handle a situation but if it is not the safest approach, chances are he'll try to find another way.
Whenever others are involved in a battle and not directly his enemy, there's no reason that Leylin won't try to get their goals to align so that the tide of the battle will go in his favor. Of course, if any signs are shown of the neutral party going the other way, he will not hesitate to treat them as an enemy.
Likes:
- Alcohol. Everyone has their vices, regardless of what their personality is like. This is Leylin's.
- Seeing a plan come through. There is nothing more satisfying than watching as hours, days, weeks or planning finally pays off.
- Torture. Although a more disgusting hobby of Leylin's, there is nothing quite like seeing the slow descent of a person's condition. Whether it is physical, mentally, or emotionally.
Dislikes:
- Do-Gooders. Those who do things with no regards for themselves or for any type of reward are the quickest to earn their way onto Leylin's 'To Kill' list.
- Bandits. Leylin understands the rule that the Strongest Survive, so in a world where he can use magic, bandits become nothing but more annoying mosquitoes. And they seem to be everywhere.
- Humiliation. There is nothing that angers Leylin more quickly than being shamed, in any way. Being shamed by someone who he can't beat... Well, he'd rather die.
Motivations:
- Knowledge. To Leylin, one of the most important phrases he has ever heard has been 'Knowledge is Power' and that couldn't be more true. He wants for nothing more than to figure out all the secret's of the world.
- Immortality. This follows closely to Leylin's first goal, to learn everything that he can. Unlike most people who want to live forever to turn into rules, Leylin wishes to do it so that he can learn everything there is to.
- Self Preservation. No matter what happens to Leylin, he will continue to push forward and keep trying to survive. His willpower to live until becoming a Mage with Boundless Knowledge keeps him going, even in the darkest of times.
Fears:
- Death. Although extremely common, there is no denying that Leylin's fear of death can cause him to miss out on things in life. Refusing to take risks when death is a chance, even low, can cause him to miss out on rewards.
- Losing his Magic. It is because of his unique abilities in the arcane arts that Leylin has been able to get to where he currently is, without it he'd be left as some poor beggar boy. The idea of being separated from his powers is terrifying.
- Losing his Free Will. Something that is easily the worst thought to the man is being able to live and have his powers, but not being able to use them for what he wanted. Being a slave of someone's will is something Leylin sees only in his nightmares but if it were ever to come true... There is no saying how he would cope.

Thankfully he isn't a hulking mass of muscle and mass, instead looking much more lean and controlled, allowing him to still be light on his feet but because of this it also leaves his punches not carrying a devastating strength with them. As for Leylin's overall appearance, most others categorize him as a man whose is very easy on the eyes. Natural charm is just another weapon in Leylin's arsenal.

Leylin's casual appearance is a fine silk outfit that commonly gives people the impression of a noble background of some sort, although this thought process is actually wrong. While his outfit does come in a variety of colors, the one he chooses the most is a complete suit of black, completed with gloves to match.

Blood Rogue-
Leylin being able to hide his darker feelings and tendencies isn't just a stroke of luck but something that has taken time to create and handle. When it comes time to preform an act that crosses the morale standing, he takes on a completely different appearance. He changes into a formal silk Kimono that hugs his form while also allowing him to keep his complete range of flexibility. Light armor hangs around the waist of his outfit, protecting his lower bits from vital injuries. In this form, the tattoo that is on his chest can expand to show his increase in it's usage and strength. Obviously just changing his clothes won't help hide who he is, so his eyes change to a bottomless red and he places a blood red demon mask over his face.

Hayato - This was a personal created by Leylin upon joining the West Fiore Trading Company and finding out about the other half of the group called The Black Sails. Placing the mask over his face causes a glamour to shift over Leylin, his hair seemingly becoming shorter and his clothing being that of a series of black cloaks and gloves as to keep his face hidden. The glamour can also change the appearance of his weapons, so they can't be traced back to him.
