Mercenaries (Ren & Heero)

Ren would watch the clouds as the carriage would move through the land of the Strauss Land. The land stretched very far, making the journey even longer. Ren would sigh as she watches the peaceful landscape in front of her alternate from plains, to orchards, to a farm. How she would love her own garden. Maybe she could start one at home. Although, all her crops will probably die instantly, due to her busy schedule and what not. Suddenly, she feels warmth and weight on her head. She looks up to see Luna, her exceed, on her head, smiling down at her. Ren would bring Luna over to her lap, caressing the top of her head, as she closed her eyes, breathing in the clean country air. The sun would bring out the highlights in Ren's hair, the deep blue of her hair accented by the sky blue giving the illusion, as if her hair looked like a calm ocean with no waves. Her eyes glinting in the sunlight, making the red in her eye shine brightly. She looked ahead as they neared the castle. The servants waiting for their arrival. As they pull to a stop, Ren would let Luna down to walk alongside her as they made their way up to the castle the rest of the way by foot, so the client, Markus, wouldn't see their carriage pull up. Ren watched as her teammates followed behind her, the wind pushing her free hair to the side in gentle waves, giving the illusion as though it was an ocean with waves being brought upon the shore.

Ren and Heero were both riding in the carriage while Nightken was riding his magic motorcycle. Tenshu was left at home since he wasn't needed for this mission so instead he brought the crows which were flying above him. This was the first job that team Storm Bringer is doing together as the team leader Nightken is planning to make it a success. Going over the fact that if they are spotted they don’t get paid he started going over different possibilities they can do to prevent that from happening. When they arrived to the Royal Castle he used his cursed seal lineage and pulled both of his swords out and stored his motorcycle then hopped into the carriage. “How are we going to do this without being seen?” Nightken asked aloud trying to think of ideas that might work. His first idea was they each cover a third of the area, the next one was one person stays inside nearby him while the other two stay outside, but that might not work since there’ll be at least two of them together. “This is going to be pretty difficult if we can’t think of a plan on how to protect him without being seen.” Nightken said aloud hoping one of them might have an idea. When they arrived at the gates they were told to cover up with the tarp in the back of the carriage. Covering up with the tarp they waited until they were told to move. “You can come out now we’re in a spot that Markus won’t see you.” Marie said to them as they flung the tarp off of them.

Ren's New Outfit:

Ren would take her time coming out of the carriage. Eventually, she would step out, her heels clacking against the cobblestone pathway. Once exited, her outfit would be completely changed. She would be wearing a pink and white dress, her hair up in an elegant bundle. She'd also be sporting a diamond necklace with matching earrings. She looks at Mrs. Strauss, nodding to her, having informed her beforehand about her plan. She decided to dress as a noble and pretend to be here as a rich businessman's daughter to strike a deal, but really to distract him from the ruckus that might happen outside. She looks at Heero & Nightken, assuming to have caught them by surprise. She explains what the plan was, just as Marie escorts Ren to her husband's office. Once reaching there, after having gone through the large mansion, Ren would bow to Markus as she takes a seat across from his desk. "Hello Mr. Strauss. My name is Yoroki Nayuri. My father sent me to seek approval for his plans to build a large stadium in the town nearby." She waits for Markus to respond, looking around at the glamorous office filled with sculptures, bookshelves and tapestries. "My compliments on your office, it is quite breathtaking..." She catches eye of a small smile flicker upon his face but vanishing just as quickly. "So, a stadium? I assume you've brought the plans and contract? I will see if it is up to the regulations required and such, I'm sure you understand."

"Here you go!" Ren would be speaking to Markus. She hands him some forged documents of some random litigation stuff. She caught a glimpse of Heero outside and almost gasped when he was shot. But he then healed himself quickly before she could do anything. She quickly looked back at Markus as his head rose up to look at her. She faked a smile which she though wouldn't hide her worry for Heero, but apparently she pulled it off. Markus had a sparkle in his eye as though he pictured Ren as the daughter he would love to have. "Everything seems to be in order, what is the occasion for this stadium? Anything specific?" Ren would toss around a few ideas in her head for an answer. Eventually, she ends up telling him that the stadium is for some noble who wanted something in his own name. Ren worried that it wouldn't work, but once again, she pulled it off. Markus chuckled as he said, "Some rich man wanting to show off I suppose." Ren laughed at this statement, quickly glancing outside the window at Heero. She gets up and bows, quickly saying, "If you'll excuse me, I need to use the restroom." Markus nods and calls for one of his servants. The servant comes and escorts Ren out of the room. Ren tells the servant that she'll be right back. She makes her way to the front door, dashing towards Heero to help him fight and warn him about the window facing his direction.

'Monster Dice' :

Ren would come up behind the assassins. She looked at Heero who saw her and began to smirk. She knew it was her chance to strike as they didn't know she was there. She sends her arm out, closing her eyes to focus. A pool of water begins to form in front of the assassins. They would look at it and yell at Heero, "What is this!? What are you doing!?" The pool of water would grow to the size of a pond and begin to ripple. A serpent-like head would burst out. It would resemble a dragon but with no wings. It would twist and turn in the sky before sending itself plummeting down. It would open its large mouth, "swallowing" one of the assassins. The assassin would actually be slammed to the ground, causing massive trauma to his back and head. The water serpent would send itself back up as it comes down for another strike. The second target would have time to move out of the way as it had enough time to realize what was going to happen. Upon missing, Ren would bring her serpent back towards her as it spirals around her as if protecting her. The assassins would be intimidated, but nonetheless, one would shoot an arrow at her. The arrow would slam into the serpent, drastically reducing it's speed. Once it exits the other side, Ren would simple grab it with one hand, snapping it in half, looking back at the attacker with an "Is That It?" expression.

'Damage Dice' :

Heero grinned even harder for the split moment before Ren held out her arm, and a blue magic circle with a dragon's crest in it spun. A pool of water in front of her quickly appeared; expanding and twisting violently as a huge serpent of water expanded and flew out of it.

The serpent twisted through the yard, slamming into one of the assassins, lifting him into the air and pinning him down with a slam. It whirled through the air, at a magnificent trail, making another pass on them, but whiffing. It spiraled in front of Ren, as an arrow twanged through the air. The water slowed the arrow down as Ren actually caught it.

Heero bursted forward, while their attention was split. He caught the archer (the most troublesome) in the face with a full body extension right haymaker. Due to his Superhuman strength, the guy was about to go flying, but Heero grabbed onto his collar, stopping his momentum as he flew away quickly.

"Not done yet!!!" Heero pulled the assassin into a major headbutt, energy jumped off of them from the force of the headbutt, as Heero let go of his collar. This sent the archer assassin bouncing and tumbling to the ground.

The one with the huge battle-axe had been blasted by Ren's Water Serpent, and the one with the longbow had just been KOed by Heero.

Only the two with katanas remained. They unsheathed their eastern blades, and began to circle both Heero and Ren. Heero backed up, until he stood back to back to Ren, feeling her hair and shoulders against his own back.

"Whaddya say we finish these guys up quickly n' find some storage room too dump em in, Ren?" Heero hinted that they should tie these guys up, and continue with Ren's plan of illusion so that their clients husband didn't come looking for her; while Heero found the Mrs. and informed her that the job was complete. Yeah, a storage closet would do these guys some justice. Heero laughed at the idea outloud. The assassins remained silent, although one spoke.

"Do not take us as lightly as our two comrades." one of the katana wielding assassins said finally, after Heero laughed. A shine ran up their katanas, and twinkled at the tip of their blades.

The two of them charged, quickly, their feet moving lightly across the ground like wind. They split up, one went for Ren, another for Heero.

2 Bandits Remaining

Ren would look at her opponent. She turns back to look at Heero. "Good Luck!" She'd say as she disperses her spell. She then quickly grabs her kusarigama and sprints for the katana wielding assassin. She slams her kusariigama down, only to be blocked by his katana's blade. a sound of metal on metal can be heard as sparks appear from where the blades struck. The assassin quickly pulls the katana down and out of the kusarigama's grip and begins to swipe at Ren multiple times. She ducks and bends backwards, dodging the attacks best she can. These people are no laughing matter. They are quite skilled and should be taken care of with precision and strategy. Ren, wanting to learn more about their overall battle performance, sends the chain of her kusarigama around the ankle of her enemy. She pulls him forward as he falls over on his back. She then proceeds by slamming her weapon down, only to be dug into the ground as the assassin rolls out of the way and of the chain's grip. She pulls at her bladed weapon, making it pop out of the cracks between the cobblestone flooring. She watches as he charges at her in graceful steps. He then frontflips, his sword out to strike her from above. She dives to the side as the katana slams against the ground. Using the moment as distraction, she sends herself forward, swinging her weapon. The assassin backflips multiple times causing her to miss as well as sending out a kick at the last one, knocking Ren on her ass. "This is getting annoying..."

Ren would watch as Heero beat his opponent to a pulp. She turned back around just in time to duck from the other assassin's swipe. She backflips away, catching eye of Mrs. Strauss. "Heero, take care of this one!" Ren runs towards Marie as she calls out her name. "Ms. Golde!" Ren would interrupt her. "Is Mr. Strauss looking for me? I better hurry!" Marie would stop Ren as she says, "No, there are more men in the mansion. My husband was able to lock himself in his office!" Ren would turn back towards Heero, but he was busy. "Stay here, I'll take care of it!" Ren makes her way into the mansion, as she sees an assassin there waiting for her. He smirks as he holds up his bow and arrow. He lets go as one flies to her. She quickly activates her Water Body spell, the arrow passing right through her head. She sprints towards the assassin, spinning her kusarigama above her head. The assassin would bring up another arrow as Ren swings her weapon. It would swing at his head but the assassin would duck. Ren would follow up with a kick which would connect to the assassin's jaw, knocking him back a few feet. She would send her kusarigama forward by the chain, passing right over the assassin's shoulder, but Ren would pull it back as it penetrates the assassin's shoulder blade, sending him down over on his face. Ren would pull her kusarigama back as she runs deeper into the mansion, leaving the injured assassin on the ground.

Ren would run through the mansion and encounter two assassins. They would look at her with darkness in their eyes. One would wield a battleaxe while the other has nunchucks. They would approach her with small steps, but Ren being angry would just swipe her hand in a diagonal. Water would burst through the ground slamming them both into the wall, but not being enough to knock them out. The one with the battleaxe would send it back as it gets ready to launch it towards Ren horizontally. Ren turns around and sprints towards the wall a feet in back of her. The battleaxe would spin in circles as it just about reaches Ren. Just as Ren reaches the wall, the assassins would laugh, thinking it was a dead end. Ren would send a foot onto the wall using it as leverage, sending her other foot on the battleaxe, launching herself off of it. She lands in front of it as it slams into the wall. The one with the nunchucks would dash towards her in anger. Ren would dodge the attacks by ducking, diving, rolling, flipping, and whatever else she could think of. The assassin would move back next to his friend as they whisper some thing to each other. Ren would look around for a way to take them out fast. She spots some busts and sculptures lying around on the ground due to them ransacking the area. She holds her kusarigama as she smirks. "Let's get this started!"

Ren sends her kusarigama around a fallen bust while using her other hand to grab another bust with water. She throws the both towards the assassins. The one who was previously wielding the battleaxe would get one straight in the face while the other rolls to the side dodging it. She then spins her kusarigama in circles making the noise of an object whipping through the air. She sends it towards the on that got hit as he's dazed. It would wrap around his wrist as Ren pulls him towards her. She sends her palm to his face, blasting him with heated water due to her anger. It would cause slight burns on his face, but nothing fatal. She turns towards the other who dodged who was now charging at her with his nunchucks. She backflip as she whipped her kusarigama towards the assassin, smacking him in the face, sending him in a fit of pain. As she lands, she sends a blast of water towards the assassin, sending him through the nearest window, flying out at high speed. She watches as he land onto the grass with a crunch. "That has got to hurt!" The other assassin from before grabs her from behind, squeezing her so tight she though her bones would turn to dust. She struggles in his grasp, but cannot get free. She contemplates calling for Heero, but if she does, it might blow her cover since Mr. Strauss is behind the door near them. She kicks and squirms, but to no avail.
