Personality: At first glance, Magni would come of as the type of person who don't take anything seriously. And while this isn't completely false, it's not entirely true either. He simply understands that there are things in life he can't control, so he doesn't worry about them.

Magni is somewhat of an epicurean and as a result tries his best to live life to the fullest. He appreciates the simple things in life – like a good conversation, good food, a story or song, or a mug of ale. He views friendship as one of the most important things in life and is willing to do almost anything for his friends. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's easy to make friends with him. After all, genuine friendships would lose their meaning if you just becomes friends with everyone you talks to.  

He likes to think of himself as being very wise and tries his best to share his "wisdom" with other people, regardless if they want him to or not. As a result, he's has a habit of telling anyone unfortunate enough to sit close enough to him lengthy anecdotes and made up proverbs.      

Magni enjoys fighting, though he does his best to hide that from other people. During battle, one can almost always find him at the frontlines fighting the enemy, but he has been known to take more of a supportive role from time to time.  He's smart enough to realize when he's outmatched and has no problem fleeing from a battle he'll most likely loose unless doing so puts the life of others at risk. He also has a habit of fighting kind of dirty, and is willing to do whatever it takes to win a fight.  

He doesn't work very well  under a leader, due to him doing what he thinks is best instead of doing what other people tell him to.  He doesn't do a very good job as a leader himself though, mostly because he lacks experience being one.  

Likes: Ale: the best way to quench one's thirst.
The magic council: They might not be perfect, but at least they try to keep order.
Cooking: The best way to get delicious food. Plus, it's a great stress reliever.
Dislikes: Technology: Everybody were doing just fine without it back in the good old days, why would they need it now?
Children: They're loud, obnoxious and rude.    
Strawberries: He really can't stand the taste of them.  
Motivations: Adventure: He doesn't want to regret living a too dull life when he's old.  
Learn more: While Magni views himself as already being very wise, he still strives to become even wiser.    
Helping others: It's the right thing to do after all.  
Fears: Dragons: Not only are they one of the worlds strongest beasts, they're near impossible to defeat unless you're a dragon slayer.
Losing his friends: It may sound a bit cliche, but Magni values his friendship more than anything else in the world.  
Piranhas: They're capable of reducing a man to nothing but bone in a few seconds (or so he's been told), what's not to fear about them?

Hair: Shoulder-length orange hair which is usually kept slicked back and a stubbly beard.

Skin Tone: Light
Appearance: Magni is a tall, muscular man. His attire is rather simple; he wears a long, black, high-collared and tattered cloak with shoulder plates; around his waist is a simple belt. He also wear loose-fitting dark pants, complete with an armored waist-guard bearing plates similar to the ones on his shoulders, tucked inside simple boots. While he doesn't normally wear a shirt, the majority of his torso is bandaged, as is his right forearm and left shoulder.
