Personality: Meifeng is what many would consider to be a little... Off. But by off, that would mean of the normal standards that society has labeled as 'normal' behavior. Mei grew outside of normal society, having grown up in a tribe thriving deep within the jungles of Joya it was only natural that she would not conform to society's norms. Even more so when she has actual bear blood running through her veins. In speaking of which, Mei tends to act like an actual bear despite her appearance. She is normally hungry every passing second of every day. No matter how much she eats there always seems to be room for more. The same could be said for sleep, as she tends to get tired fairly easily and very quickly at that. It isn't abnormal to see her randomly fall asleep while doing normal activities such as bathing, eating, and even walking. When sleep calls she is among the first to answer it, without question.
Growing up in a tribe she also doesn't have a common sense of decency. The tribe is family, and how much of yourself do you keep from your family? This means she's grown to be unaware of the certain unspoken rules the outside world has. Such as wearing clothes when you're out in public, or not randomly crawling into someone's bed when you realized how tired you are. This tends to get her in a lot of trouble sometimes, usually making her labeled as some sort of trouble maker, but in reality she just really doesn't know or understand what being normal is.
In battle Mei uses her knowledge of tribe life to the best of her extent. To grow up in the jungle, you need to be tough. With her magic she is able to play pretty much any role needed. She can quickly turn offensive just as fast as defensive. But as a tribe member, she is also taught not all battles are worth fighting. This has caused her to be decisive with her battles, though with a naturally thin patience for pretty much anything usually she ends up ignoring this and straight up finish the guys off quicker than it would take to talk it out.
Mei is a natural born leader, being next in line to be chief of her tribe. In fact she was pretty much brought up to be a leader. As a leader she has learned that everything she does needs to be for the good of everyone, even if that means a bit of self sacrifice along the way. Along with quick decision making skills and wit Mei truly can be a great leader if she tried. Though she has yet still a lot to learn on his journey... Including not falling asleep in the middle of an important discussion.
Under a leader may be where Mei works at her worst. She hates being bossed around, as she sees herself as the rightful leader in almost all situations. If anyone steps on her toes, they just might end up loosing said toe... So it might just be better to let her do her own thing rather than getting a bloody end...

❇ Food: What bear doesn't like to eat? Not just honey, but pretty much anything she can get a hold of.
❇ Alcohol: In the tribe it was either drink or get made fun of for being a wussy. And Mei is no wuss!
❇ Yuri: After finding some of these strange comics when she was younger, Mei has a strange fascination with the love that blossoms between two girls...
❇ Warmth: What's to say about being warm? It's cozy, and a great temperature to sleep in.

❇ Nightmares: Nightmares disturb the peace and quiet that sleep brings.
❇ Loud noises: Also disturbing sleep, is loud noises. Don't wake Mei up, or she may kill you.
❇ Yaoi: Disgusting, impure! Yuri master race. The thought of two males together brings great disgust to Mei.
❇ Cold: Who likes being cold?
Motivations:
❇ Helping others: The tradition of helping others in order to help her tribe thrive still exists to this day. To give is to get after all.
❇ Bringing pride to her tribe: Her tribe, her family. They're all relying on her to complete the trials and come back home to lead them.
❇ Yuri couples: Watching cute girls being together motivates her, or even just fantasizing it. Yuri is love, yuri is life.
❇ Seeing a golden bear: All children in her tribe get a guardian bear to look after them their entire life, but the most rare and mythical is the golden bear. Some say it doesn't exist, but Mei thinks otherwise. Just one glimpse is all she needs.
Fears:
❇ Demons: Though her tribe's legends are all filled with gods, they are also filled with demons. Great, scary demons. Even today just thinking of them sends a shiver down her spine.
❇ Failure: The threat of becoming a demon is great during this trial. If she fails, instead of becoming a chief she will be branded as a demon, and cast out of the tribe. A pretty heavy price.
❇ Losing Bǎo: Her guardian bear. He's always been there for her. But they are not immortal. One of these days, Mei fears he might end up dying before his time.
❇ Being unworthy for chief: The thought is always there, in the back of her mind. What if she isn't worthy of being chief? What if she fails her people?
