Adalinda looked at the paper again as she walked through Hargeon Town. She had spotted a job to free some slaves that the Rune Knights even wanted to have done. The hefty price on the death, and/or capture of the two head honchos of this little shindig was what really caught her attention. Of course she couldn't let it down. Her ice blue eyes smirk once more as she liked that price that's big as can be in the ink. And double if they're both captured. She would have to work hard to try to not kill them despite what they do. She purses her lips as she stops for a brief moment. They capture women. She's a woman. Would they take her if she posed as a defenseless woman? A grin forms on her face as she liked the thought of infiltrating them that way, but then sticks a finger down her throat as she fake gagged. "Wouldn't happen again in a million years... Faking gossiping was the worst." She snorts to herself.
The girl ran a hand through her black and blue highlighted hair. She couldn't charge in there. She may just have to act like she's not as magical as she really was. Adalinda stuffs the paper into a pouch on her hip. First things first; "I need to find where they are... If I was a slaver... where would I go to hide all of my slaves I've captured? A warehouse near the sea? Or a noisy building not too far from it?" She makes a disgusted face to herself as she couldn't believe she was even thinking. She would punch those slavers in the face for free, but she had bills to pay and alcohol to buy, so she would do it for money instead. She walks over to the dock, and crosses her arms over her chest. She tilts an ear up in the air, and slightly tilts her head up to sniffs the air. She was trying to see if she could hear the women over the water, or even if there was a scent she could pick up. A soft scream was able to be heard and a grin form on her face. "Warehouse..." She snickers and heads over to where the buildings were. When she got a good distance away, she starts to crouch and looks around for where the target was. "Where are you my piggies...?" She snickers softly to herself.

...You Okay?...
So she stood there idly, and pretended to get knocked out by a bunch of goons. Haia was more than capable really. Haia then found herself in a dark warehouse, and a voice outside. Haia knew who it was, but her hands was bonded. Haia looked around to survey what they were dealing with right now. Ten rookies who seemingly doing some basic work, her guess being them just some extra muscle and manpower. Haia shifts her eyes carefully as she surveyed. There are also four not-so-rookies. Haia could see they have weapons on hand, and are guarding the entrances inside. And finally that seems to be the big guy controlling the operation. Haia's ears caught some words.
"Yeah boss, we got ourselves a mage too..." A pause, Haia could not hear the conversation entirely. "Coming over... Scarlet... Carver... Captain..." Haia ran several theories through her head. The man on the phone was merely an overseer for someone, in charge of the captives here. Haia then noticed. There are no captives. Haia kept quiet. That was when she felt a grimy hand on her face.
"Oh lookie here, the pretty girl is awake. Good good... Yeah you know you are a mage girl and you'll fetch a way higher price that any woman we captured so far. In fact Captain is so happy that she is coming personally to pick you up," The man smiled, his nauseous breath disgusting like putrid grog. Haia wondered why they made this dimwit in charge, he just gave the whole plan away. The man steps away and goes back to seemingly administrative work. Then he looked up and barked an order. "Check who is outside, say yer security or something and she or he has been looking suspicious and think of something smart." A clutter of weapon and the sound of metal doors opening. Haia looked up and saw light and the sea. Hopefully the new girl could handle a bunch of loonies.
Haia then got up. Magic bonding cuffs on her hands. Typical. Haia however was more than capable. Getting up, she slammed the head of the veteran hard into the desk with her cuffs and broke his head in. The veteran laid on the desk unconscious, bleeding. Grabbing his keys, she removes the locks with her mouth and spat on the ground. The keys tasted like greasy cuttlefish and it was no way pleasant. Haia also took his gun and blade. Haia checked the ammo and got the gun loaded and ready, giving the blade a clean wipe and brandished it at ready. Time to kick some slaver ass.

Before Adalinda had made it to the warehouse, she looked over her shoulder. She had smelled someone behind her before they had left her to go elsewhere. When she got closer to the warehouse, she smelt the same scent as before. She glares a little and raises an eyebrow. That scent was actually familiar to her... but where had she smelled this persons scent before? This was going to infuriate her.
As she was crouching about, Adalinda saw a door open to a warehouse, and glares to it quietly. There were people filing out of it. She sighs unhappily. "Yay..." She mutters to herself. She takes a moment to think of how to take care of them. There seemed to be mainly simpletons. Five of them were brandishing cutlasses. Simple enough to go after... right? She snickers as she holds her hand out in front of her, and sniffs the air again. It was the person from before. Their scent was coming from inside. "Got yourself in trouble? Jeez..." She mutters quietly as she quickly goes to get a closer look at the warehouse. Her initial number of five goons was right. And from the looks of it, they didn't have any magic. Easy peasy. She just hoped she wouldn't need to have a backup for the two she needed to have captured.
From her current position, hiding behind a bush just before the warehouses, Adalinda was able to see inside the warehouse where people just came out. There was one girl in there. Her eyes glared at her. She seemed familiar. Then, it clicked for her. She was from the guild. And she was someone higher than her. She wasn't sure if she was actually captured, or... While in the middle of that thought, Adalinda was spotted by one of the goons that had come out of the building.
"Hey! You there! What are you doing?! We're... uh... we're security! You're acting suspicious... doing whatever it is you're doing. Yeah... That'll work." He had fumbled over his words, making Adalinda roll her eyes. She then twirls her fingers around as if she was twirling a pencil or something, then started to go after the guy. He was easy enough for her. As she charged, a shiny little weapon formed in her hand, an iron kunai. She grins rather wickedly as she quickly slides under the guy and knocks him under his feet before she managed to twist herself and get his leg with her kunai, making him hit his head on the pavement.
"Try again. That doesn't work. While yes, I probably was suspicious though. I was hiding behind a bush..." She chuckles and quickly hides once more. She could be stealthy when she wanted to be. She looks back to the warehouse to see where the other girl was. She needed to seriously get to know her other comrades. She couldn't see her from her point of view, but that wasn't going to make her think that this chick was helpless. If she was apart of Black Sails, she was probably at least decently strong and could hold her own. Her Kunai had disappeared by now, and she was going to rely on shear strength to help her out for right now.

...Beat em up, tear em down...
The place she was in was a makeshift office, merely a fold table and fold chairs, the walls being just boxes stacked neat to look like cargo ready to be shipping off, they were even on cargo palettes and covering in plastic cling foil. Who knew that working with a guild who has their own trading company would teach her these things. Haia found herself distracted in thought but she resumes looking for clues.
The mage quickly finds files under the table. Quickly the girl skims through what she could and took note of any important information. The more power they had, the more they could extort jewels from. Clients who bought these slaves, current residence and names of these slaves and changed names which some clients would use over the slaves real name. Haia smiled, there were some here she could use. Taking out her Ilac, she snap images and took information down with speedy fingers and eyes. Filing them back, she removes the unconscious man and tucks him under the table. The maps had bloodstains on them, but they were still clear enough to read.
Haia took notes of the maps, cross referencing maps in her own head. Haia Illie Starstruck handled the admin with Alisha, but a lot of the work fell on her when it came to detailed stuff and doing a lot of the brain challenging things. Haia may not be the best fighter the guild had at the moment, shadowed by much more stronger mages, but her intellect was another league and her ability to recall information. The world is tough place, and it took brains and brawn to live in a world full of magic. Haia finally pinpoints the island where they had the slaves kept, and where the clients came from, including how much they paid. They were merely pirates, mercenaries like them, the Black Sails. This meant someone hired them, or they already were in this business from the beginning.
Haia heard a ruckus outside, looks like the new recruit is handling the fodder fine. Haia grabbed the pistol and walked out of the makeshift office, and giving a guy a bullet to the knee and probably shattering the joint. The shot alerted the rest, Haia threw her blade right at one and it sunk right into his right shoulder, making him sink in pain. The others were already on the offense however, Haia merely the bullets with her secondary magic, black flames shot up from beneath her feet and became solid to block the bullets before returning to their gaseous form as they disappeared. Haia unload a few rounds with pristine accuracy and threw the gun aside when it ran out, her flames grabbing the sword and returning it to her hand. Haia opened the warehouse gate and took a step outside with a yawn.
"Fresh air~" Haia smiled before looking back at her work. All six guards down and without a scratch. Now it was the question of, how were they going to be the ringleaders, who are not even here...

Adalinda tilts her head a bit and listens for any other new recruits close to her. She hears one and manages to sneak to another spot to see one of the goons kind of just looking around aimlessly. She sighs quietly and stands up to lean against the bush. She raises an eyebrow as the other quickly zips around and looks at her in fear. Adalinda snickers. This was a joke, right? She looks at the cutlass, and a grin starts to form on her face. "That looks yummy." She says, licking her lip hungrily as her eyes look up into the guys face. He pales and she quickly reaches around and grabs the blade with one hand before she yanks it back towards her. She chuckles as she quickly was laying on her back on the ground while yanking on the cutlass, and kicked her foot up to launch the other over. She blinks as she had accidentally thrown them off the walkway, hearing a smack against some stone before they hit the water. "Oops... but it works." She chuckles to herself.
She quickly goes back to hiding behind the bush and reaches for her belt. "I'm starting to lose focus... jeezums..." She mutters other nonsense to herself before she takes a nice swing from her flask. As she takes a sip, she spies someone looking over her, and she snickers. Pulling the flask away from her lips, she snickers. "You really chose the wrong person to try to sneak up on." She caps the flask, wondering why they were just standing there. She squints an eye at the guy before she puts her flask away. She then quickly goes into a crouch and gave a low sweep with her foot to the guy, successfully knocking him on his ass. The slaver initiates sword had dropped and Adalinda was now towering over him. "Sup?" She says as she stands up and puts a foot on the guys chest. "What? No stupid 'I'm security, you're suspicious' speech from you too?" She snickers with a wink before she grabs the guys head and smacks it on the ground to render him unconscious. "Stay there for me, will ya?"
After Adalinda got the guy unconscious, she perks up. The doors had opened once again, she wanted to count how many more she had to get over with. When she saw the girl, she sighs. She stands up and leans on the bush again. "You couldn't wait for me to get in there? Lame..." She chuckles quietly to herself. She sniffs the air and decides hiding from the other slavers wasn't needed anymore since she seemed to have made work of some of them. She makes her way over to the other girl by the warehouse. "Did you read my mind and steal my original plan? Feign being helpless, allow yourself to get captured, and take them down from the inside." She crosses her arms over her chest and raised an eyebrow. "I wasn't in the mood to do that myself, so thanks." She gives a half grin before yawning out of boredom. She looks over and sees a couple more of the slaver initiates that she hadn't gotten down. "How much do you bet that there will be backup coming?"
She hadn't heard the call, so she didn't know about the captain and their first mate being on the way. She sniffs the air and blinks. Where were the other captives? She peers around her and looks inside. All there was, were six bodies on the ground. She raises an eyebrow and runs a hand through her hair. "Adalinda. I think I forgot who you were... Either that, or I only recognize you by your scent still." She chuckles nervously as she holds her hand to the other mage. That didn't seem like something was good for her to say, but it was highly likely that it was the truth that she only knew this girls scent.

...New recruit Ada...
Haia turned around, hearing a voice, ready to give the speaker something to the knee but was relieve to see it waa just the new girl. Haia could smell the alcohol on her and Haia made a quick observation, she drank outside, and seeing how there is a flask with the recruit, it seems apparent the recruit can hold her drink. Way better than she can.
Her ears however caught the sarcasm. "I thought Big Dog had more efficient people hired, plus I have done such a thing before. Jailbreak is practically child's play with such mediocre tools and weaponary on hand," Haia smiled however at hearing how she heard how Ada refused to admit to a plan that could have taken the warehouse from the inside.
"Well recruit you just got lucky with your guesses," Haia took out a watch, shaped similarly to a heart. "Approximately about three and a half quarter hours it took you to find this warehouse and confirm your suspicision that this place is the place where the slavers were hiding all the captives, your mood could have cost you your success on this mission," Haia puts away the watch before turning to see the remaining two who had not been caught in the fights. Haia turned to face Adalinda as flames travelled across the cement harbor and grabbed hold of the two recruits, bonkering heads and knocking them out before throwing them into the warehouse. It even dusts itself like a pair of hands before shrinking back into Haia.
"I am Haia Illie Starstruck, one of the guild's few remaining pioneers and despite my lack in position as one of the top mages, I am an asset nontheless for other reasons," Haia smiled and gave Adalinda a firm handshake, like someone who has been in the business of being smartly dressed and discussing business would. "You may also know me as Big Dog's other secretary, you know the lady who happens to be looking like a gentle, sweet and kind woman. The kind you only get from fakes at the frint desk to begin with. Right you may not know this but your CEO is a dog. An actual dog." Haia cleared her throat and gestured Adalinda to enter the warehouse first. Haia gave the warehouse exterior a brief inspection before dragging any bodues left outside inside and shutting the doors with a smile on her face. Haia would then call for Adalinda to follow her into the box fort office.
"Back up comes in approximately thirty minutes from now recruit, based on direction of wind and sea currents. Using deduction based on some mathematics, a few sea charts memorized and using estimations based on the charts given her, time of the call and such," Haia gestures to the somewhat bloodied mess on the table, which has dried, leaving dark brown stains on the maps. Cracking her knuckles, she pulls out the man from under the table and checks his clothing and finds something the communication device ringing. The girl turns it on and listens, but tells the slayer to be silent.
"We are approaching thirty minutes based on our given measurements Jeff. I expect a clean, I repeat clean extraction of this mage. Girls like her could fetch millions and perhaps billions of jewels if we sell that one girl to the right client!" A hearty laughter of multiples. Haia's eyes narrowed. "We don't even need to be slavers anymore! We would all be on a luxurious island!" The call cuts there and it seems to be a prerecorded from a few minutes ago after the call. Haia then turns to Adalinda.
"We have thirty minutes recruit," Haia yawned as she leaned against the fold chair and propping her feet onto the bleeding man. "Okay recruit, you and I are gonna have a small chit-chat session here. I hope to learn much about you new girl. After all we practically have nothing to do till they arrive. Chasing them on sea would waste us time anyway Adalinda."

Re: Liberation of Slaves (with Haia!)
The black haired mage snickers as she puts her hand on her hip. "Well I am amazing with my guesses lately." She muses and pushes her hair over her shoulder. That was the second time she had been praised for being lucky in her guesses recently. She pauses at the watch. Who was this girl to act like time was everything? She tilts her head to the side and runs her hand through her hair. "Yeah... weeeellll.... I wasn't going to use a vehicle to get me here quicker. Me and vehicles aren't friends. Sorry for being so slow to get here..." She shrugs her shoulders as she rolls her eyes.
She watched the flames work to knock out the last to slavers, and takes a step back. "You have such lovely fire..." She says and her lips curl slightly in distaste. She wasn't a fan of heat, especially ones that were magically created. She shook the others hand, and jerks her head back some at the mention of the CEO being an actual dog. "Well then.. I don't think I smelled that...?" She chuckles nervously. She lets go of the others hand and goes inside the warehouse to give it an eye over. Where were the slaves? She turns to look at Haia. "Did you already release the salves? Or did they lop their heads off? Were there even slaves here at all...?" She couldn't help but question her as she leaned on the wall, looking at the bodies as the other mage brought them in from the outside.
She followed her in to the little office, and glances around it a bit. Once her eyes laid on the map, she snickers. "Oh... isn't that a lovely sight?" She snickers more when she spies the knocked out man shoved under his own table. She stays silent and raises an eyebrow while she crossed her arms and listens to the ring. Being referred to as 'recruit' was starting to get on her nerves, even though this was Haia's second time calling her that. She still stayed silent despite her tongue wanting to lash out. When she was finally referred to by her own name, she purses her lips at Haia. Thirty minutes better not have her wanting to ring out this girls neck.
"Okay... first things first to know about me... I don't like to be referred to as 'recruit' so damn much. That's not my name." She huffs in a bit of anger. She sits herself on the desk and motions to her. "I don't have too much to say about myself. You'll have to dig for questions. I'm a dragon slayer. Obviously brand new to the guild. You already know I don't like acting like a defenseless twit and making friends with other girls like so, that's a really annoying thing to do to me..." She shutters and looks down to her flask. She then smirks and holds it up. "I like my drinks." She unscrews the cap and takes a swig before holding it out to her partner. "Want a sip?"

Re: Liberation of Slaves (with Haia!)
Something about this
Haia nodded. In a way, the girl relates to Adalinda. The mage kicks her feet on to the table and takes the flask. Curious she looks inside, and gives a sniff. It was alcohol definitely but how much the mage did not know. So the girl took a sip, and almost gagged. It was stronger than what she was used to, then again Haia has not had a drink like this since the West Fiore Trading Company became more prominent in the guild. Being busy with so much paper work made her abstain from alcoholics in order to work efficiently and hard. Haia returns the flask back to Adalinda.
"Dragon Slayer hm? We got plenty of slayers back in the guild, but who they are I never bothered to actually remember. Also explains your previous statement of you and vehicles not being friends. I hear it is a common weakness for Slayers in general to be really bad with motion sickness," Haia stretched. The situation became rather lax, and Haia checked her watch on a timely basis. "What would take a human intense training and experience, a slayer's senses triple that without moving a muscle. I can smell the alcohol on ya and other unmentionables. However that is just being a hunter, prey once seen..." Haia does a bow and arrow action, and releases the 'bowstring'. "Drop like men on your alcohol."
Haia then turned to Adalinda. "Trust me, I actually hate doing my job as an infiltrator sometimes. However that is how all men see women if you ask me. Defenseless damsels who could not even lift a box like this." Haia grabbed the box fulls of files and lifts it effortlessly. The mage puts it down before sitting back on the chair and hears it creak against her weight. "My brother couldn't accept I was a way better hunter Adalinda, and now he resorts demons..." Haia checked the watch. It was time.
"Adalinda, get ready. We got ourselves some pirates ahoy," Haia gets up and without a care, strolls right to the door and opens it.
Before them was a massive ship, probably a brig if Haia were to guess. The large masts were raised to the skies as the wooden structure approached the harbor. Haia produced a leather water lung and blew into it. Adalinda could probably smell the putrid odor coming from it as Haia sealed the lung. The girl then turns to Adalinda.
"See this lung here? It is filled with a very volatile oil, made by yours truly indeed," Haia grinned. "Keep this with you and sneak on to the ship carefully when it is docked, I'll keep it from moving so you don't get motion sickness. Plant the lung when you confirmed there are no innocent lives inside the ship, evacuate them if any. There weren't any in the warehouse when I was inside, but who knows where else they could have taken slaves from. Also take this little buddy with ya." Haia blew a small flame and it turned into a sort of bird that fluttered to Adalinda's side. "Tell it to blow up the lung if you have no available fire source with you." Haia looked right into Adalinda's eyes.
"Take this as proving yourself to me that you can show me that you, as a woman, are not weak and frail, when you see the warehouse become engulfed in my fire Adalinda... Blow the ship up," Haia then burst into the air and got onto the roof. The ship docked and Haia wasted no time with her handiwork. Haia weaved the fire and made chains to hold the ship in place before busting a hole below and lifting the brig, giving Adalinda a clean entry. However this caught the attention of the pirates on board.
"Oi so yer that mage ey? Pretty cute for someone so strong," A red head pirate made her debut. Beside her, a scrawny looking bandanna head with cutlasses.
"Mages are easy Captain Scarlet, lemme at her," The scrawny one spoke with a saliva filled chuckle. Scarlet flipped her hair and nod before pulling out two pistols on her belt. Haia knew they were not going down with a fight.
"Well show me your moves then red head and stick boy," Haia smiled as a brilliant white sword appeared in her hands. The battle begins between Haia, Carver and Scarlet. Haia hoped her plan was working, and that she did not misplace her trust when it came to Adalinda.
Carver moved quickly, but Haia caught his movement and blocked the cutlasses. Haia immediately activated her watch, the Time Heart by holding it to her heart. The girl feels herself away from her body now and uses the moment to observed the battlefield. Haia checked Carver's equipment. Mere cutlasses blunted from use and stained brown with blood. Clearly a merciless man to have a thick visible layer of dried blood. Also horrible hygiene. Haia then moved over to Scarlet and checked her out. Haia could see her guns uses gunpowder, and clearly had a kick to the bullet as she had stopped time just as the bullet came out. It was bigger and had more fire to it.
Haia came back and took an explosion to the body, blowing a hole in the roof. The fire does not falter though. The girl gets up and pockets the Time Heart. Flexing a bit, the cutlasses came at her again, being blocked again by Haia's magical blade. Haia then threw Carver off balance and kicked him in the shin and sending her blade through his leg, cutting it clean off as the sword disappears from her hand. A loud scream as Carver hobbles to his one leg. However his speed is not cut and employs a different method of attacking. Haia dodged his swipes and spins as she moves backwards towards the wall. Another explosion and the door is removed with a blast, Scarlet walks in and sees her first mate with his leg. The girl drew another pistol and fire it, sending another bullet Haia's way. Haia creates a flame shield for herself, blocking the explosion but indirectly blows the warehouse structure.
Haia realized she lacked the offensive magic to deal with them entirely, however she had a plan to solve that. The flames grew and whirled to life, becoming gears and components of a gun in her hands. Haia then aimed at them and smiled.
"I hope you like it hot," Haia turned it on and a flurry of fiery projectiles begun to coat the warehouse in flames, structure slowly falling apart as the blue and black flames consumed the warehouse in a monstrous glee. Carver wanted to leave quickly, but a log fell on his good leg. He called out to Scarlet to help him. Scarlet looked at Carver, then shot him in the face.
"You were honestly always dead weight Carver," Scarlet then ran out of the warehouse and towards her ship. Haia did not bother to stop her. If the plan was successfully carried out, Scarlet would watch her ship explode in beautiful blue and black flames. Haia walks out from the burning warehouse and and kicks the shocked Scarlet behind the knee, throwing aside the pirate's weapons in case she attempted to murder herself.
"Miss Scarlet, I'm afraid the loop awaits you," Haia smiled. It was a scary smile. The shocked Scarlet was at a lost, unable to cope with the fact that all her hard worked had gone down to the bottom, like her ship. Haia then looks up to see if Adalinda is alright from the blast or any injuries she may has sustained. If Adalinda had faced some danger, a snap of Haia's fingers and white light would glaze over the slayer, healing her a considerable bit with Haia's support magic.
"Go on, hand her and..." Haia produced a scarred Carver. The shot burnt half his face, but Haia managed to keep him alive with her fire protecting him. "I heard the reward is boosted if you hand the ring leaders in alive. I trust them with you Adalinda." A smile on Haia's smile which then turns into a serious frown. "I got myself some leads to follow..." With that said, Haia flies away to who knows where out in the ocean.
Word claims that Haia did some blackmailing to people who had purchased said slaves by threatening to reveal their criminal activity to the public. The mage who often appear rather beaten up, like she had a rough day while doing said thing, as if sometimes Haia had to get her hands dirty on the job. However Haia had refused to speak to anyone about it at all.

Re: Liberation of Slaves (with Haia!)
Adalinda watched as the fire seemed to have a mind of its own. She glares at it a little and starts to lean back away from them. "Excuse me... I'm not doing anything to you, so back off." She growls lowly at the mage before her. When the flames were finally gone, Adalinda shakes her head and looks around them. She watches the other take a sip of her drink, and snickers. "Not a hard liquor person, are ya?" She grins and puts the flask to her own lips again and takes a big swing again. She smiles as she pulls it away and caps it before belting her flask once again. "This is a bourbon whiskey that I managed to get a while back. It has a sweet taste to me." She muses happily to herself as she fingers the cap a little. She had more waiting for her back at her apartment.
She nods in agreement as she confirmed that her being a dragon slayer gave her the weakness of not being able to do well on moving vehicles. It was usually her greatest regret about being a slayer, but her alcohol usually helped her. "As long as I don't have a drink, I can't ride on anything. But right now I'm low... so I'm trying to save up jewels for more." She says as she scratches the back of her head. A snicker had come from her lips as she nods once more though to Haia's comment about a slayers abilities being better than a normal persons, and about men dropping for her alcohol. Some men would kill just to have the tolerance she had sometimes. Adalinda took pride in that actually, being able to drink more than most people could.
She stays silent for a bit while Haia spoke of her brother. She honestly didn't know what to say then. Was a 'sorry' a good response? Or a condolence of some type? She didn't know. A shrug comes to her as she runs a hand through her hair. She never really had anyone beside her father, so she couldn't relate in that aspect. She had been ripped from her thoughts when Haia had said that they had some pirates, and snickers as she pushed herself off of the desk. Now the fun was gonna begin. She puts her hands on her hips as she looks out the door, standing a couple steps behind the other mage. "Damn..." She snickers to herself. The smell from the lung, made her pause a bit though as she listened to her. She holds up a finger. "Yeah, as long as I take another sip of my alcohol before I step aboard, I think I should be fine." She says and indeed does grabs her alcohol for another sip. That was her elixir of sickness, being able to be on a moving vehicle of sorts to ward off most of her motion sickness. She pockets her flask once more and grabs the lung.
Adalinda looks to the lung, then up at Haia when the little bird came at her, and she makes a face. "Why is it that I come in contact with mages who use some sort of fire magic more than anything?" She sighs as she hangs her head. "It better not melt anything since it's magically created..." She grumbles and shakes her head. A sharp nod comes from her as she snickers and rolls her eyes. "What? No kiss for lil' ol' me for good luck?" She couldn't help but tease before Haia jumped onto the roof. "You don't have to worry about me not being able to prove to you that I'm not a damsel, and am stronger than I look." She readies herself and watches the ship dock from the entrance. She wasn't going to waste any time herself. She begun running towards the ship, smirking at the sight of a hole being created for her. "Thank you for the grand entrance, Haia..." She mutters softly to herself as she slips inside the boat. Adalinda still felt a bit nauseous when she boarded it, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
There were about six of the pirates aboard the ship in the area she entered from. They seemed to mainly be magic-less and used the same cutlasses as the initiates as before. She brings forth her kunai again. "Little fire bird, back off a bit. Don't need you melting my weapons here." She chuckles to herself as she sprints off forward and made quick work of the pirates aboard the ship. She got hit a couple times with their weapons, causing her arms to have some cuts coming down it. She didn't seem to flinch too much about the pain from their weapons, or even notice that she was bleeding really. She even managed to get above deck, she had kicked four of the members off, after confirming that they were indeed not the slaves that they captured. There weren't any slaves aboard the ship, which pissed her off as she didn't know the state of the women who were captured. That was half the reason for this job. To release those women that were captured by these heinous people.
She had gone into the captains quarters and plants the lung near the center of it. She had quickly gone below the deck and found all the gunpowder, for their guns on board, and gathered any other flammable materials all together. She had made sure they would be able to be caught on fire as she laid them about the ship. She looks back and sees that Haia and the captain and her first mate were. She couldn't believe that the master operator of this all was a woman to begin with. "She's lucky I'm not the one trying to fight them... I would probably kill the captain for being a bitch." She snickers and looks to the little fire bird. "Okay... You're cuter than you seem, but you're terrible because you're made of magical fire." She holds her kunai away from the bird as she was still afraid it could possibly melt it. She didn't know if she would need it or not still while she waited for Haia to burn the warehouse.
It didn't take long for her to see that the building got lit up. She had been leaning against the main mast and watching the building as she swung a chain she had found from their anchor since Haia was holding the ship still. As soon as the fire was up, she looks to the bird. "Okay little fella, get on going to the lung and blow 'er up!" She chuckles as she grabs a line and was racing to the edge of the boat to go overboard. "If only I had Tamaria... She could just fly me off this blasted boat!" She shouts to herself as she prepares to jump, swinging from the rope to fling herself farther away from the boat. She let up an excited scream as she canon-balled into the water with a rather big splash just as the boat lit up in flames itself. When she came up above the water again, she was bobbing in the water. The boat was on fire, and was kind of big to her. She makes a face as some things had blown up and were flaming in the water and on the dock near the boat. It would be something tough to get through if she had a way to get up there.
While she was in thought, a nudge hit Adalinda's foot in the water. She gasps and looks down at the water as she bobbed there in it. Suddenly, a little creature was in front of her. It had a green head, and large black eyes that seemed to bore into the mage before it. The creature then dived under the water and moved around to lift itself up again, taking Adalinda along with it on it's shell. "Wait?! You're a huge turtle?!" She cries out in surprise. She grabs hold of the shell and laughs a little as the turtle had decided to take her for a ride and pick her up out of the water. She saw the flippers flap like wings a couple times before they started to actually do so. They were out of the water in the matter of seconds. She sighs as she hangs her head.
"Great... I'm a magical princess flying into the sunset on a flying turtle." She snorts to herself. The turtle seemed to just look back at her with a look. "What?! Can you speak like Tamaria too? Or are you just a turd who can fly?" Her comment got the turtle to slightly turn a bit while holding her on his back. "Okay! Okay! Sorry! Sorry! Jeez! Don't do that!" She groans and sees Haia and the captain down below as she stands up on the back of the turtle. "Okay, Shellton - that's what I'm calling you now - let me jump down here." She chuckles and watches the turtle level himself out before she leaps off feet first from the back of the huge animal. She landed with her knee hitting the ground rather hard, snickering up to Haia as she hears the woman's comment to the pirate captain.
"Hi there, sweetheart. Did you miss me?" She asks and stands up now. She grins a rather creepy smile to the captain and raised an eyebrow. "You have fun seeing your ship in flames? I know I had fun doing it... I'm not a fan of vehicles that move though... sooo, I hope you appreciate that I hated your ship." She crosses her eyes momentarily and sticks her tongue out, hoping to agitate the captain. She looks at the white light going over her, and instantly feels better, smirking to herself as she couldn't help but give Haia a quick nod of thanks.
As Haia brings up the first mate, Adalinda raises an eyebrow. "So I didn't get to join in on the fun on kicking their butts? How lame..." She mutter, but she holds up the chain as she grins to the two in front of her. "You two will enjoy yourselves for the last few days... Don't worry..." She snickers and breaks the chain effortlessly and then uses it to bind both of them behind their backs and around their torsos and legs. "I hope that's heavy enough to keep you two down till the Rune Knights come on over to collect your butts." She snickers happily to them.
Her eyes start to trail up to where Haia was. An eyebrow started to raise as she tilts her head and puts a hand on her hip. "So... did I prove myself to you? Didn't think I really needed to prove to anyone that I was strong enough in the guild... especially after I had to battle the vice president, Johann, just to get in and meet Cirven." She had let up a soft snicker to the other mage before her. She listens as the other one said she had a lead to follow, and slowly nods her head, sighing deeply. She raises her hand and puts two fingers to her temple before she saluted her farewell. "Have fun. Guess I'll inform the Knights what's going on. Just get them back quick. They are damsels." She snickers and waves her off.
After the Rune Knights collect the two slavers, Adalinda had heard word of Haia and how she had gotten a hold of the other slaves. "Thirty-kay jewels... in my pocket..." She couldn't help but snicker to herself. She looks over to the water and sees a fairly large turtle resting in the water, watching her. "Shelly! Alright you big moose! Come on, lets get back to the guild... You'll be a better companion and travel guide than a smelly ship, only downfall... is little food." She snickers while she hops upon the turtles shell and let it lazy along the ocean to go back to the guild.

She snickers and waves her off.
