A lazy yawn left the lips of a young woman as she gazed out of the the window of the carriage. Across from her, a young woman sat with terror in her eyes as the feline she’d been caring for had changed. Over the last week, Syn had been playing her current caretaker. Guiding her towards the neutral grounds, and the factory that distributed the Ilac. It wasn’t really a matter of Syn being unable to get their herself. More a matter of her being unwilling to move through the neutral lands by foot. It’d be one thing traversing the land as a cat if there was plenty of trees and the like to manuever through, by a lass, she was going to be passing across barren fields mostly.
“Alice…? The girl spoke with a hesitant voice. Syn’s slit pupils slid over to her as her head gave a sharp tilt. “Syn. My name is Syn. Not Alice. I hated that damn name, but what do you need little Miss?” Syn sharply said as she began to stretch out, getting the urge to stretch out and take a nap.
”What are you?” She asked. Of all things, this was interesting to Syn. Her head tilted somewhat as she gazed back at her. She smiled a bit as she leaned forward, the suit she wore creaked some as she stretched it. “Well, sweetie, I’m not exactly sure. I’ve referred to myself as a hell cat since I could rationalize thought. Lava is my forte.” Syn said with a light giggle before shifting back into her cat form, and leaped back into the woman’s lap, and nuzzled her hand. ”Mind doing some more petting?”
The young woman, her hair a platinum blond smiled some before her eyes rolled. Her hand traveled down, and began to run her hand down the back of the large cat. A purr began to echo from her. “I have no intention on killing you Elizabeth. I have a use for you.” Syn said with a bit of a purr in her voice. There it was, She was plotting. “What kind of plans Ms. Syn?” Elizabeth soon answered, now hesitant about the animal on her lap that she was petting. ”Simple. I’m going to take your father’s carnival, and you’re going to become the new ringleader.” Syn had said with a matter of fact tone. There was no hesitance in her voice, and she went about her purring.
“But wh- She began to say as the carriage came to a halt. ”Hush for now. We’re here. “ As she’d made a habit, she picked Syn up and cradled her in her left arm, Syn’s head leaning over the crook of her elbow as she’s continued to be stroked. Elizabeth soon stepped out of the carriage. She soon made her way into the factory with Syn in her arms. Syn twisted some, and slipped out of her arms, and moved on along Elizabeth’s side as she moved to the office. They retrieved two Ilac, explaining that the other was for their driver and he was too busy with the horses to come in. They soon left. Syn reclaimed her normal place on Elizabeth’s lap before heading out of the area. All the same, planning her next step.
