Name: Jin Auri-el
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Birthday: 07/01
Sexuality: Straight
Special Characteristics: When personality is switched to Bringer of Death, right eye sparks in combat; thin, grey scales on left side of face, reaching to eye; left index finger missing
Personality:
Jin Auri-el is very much a man of two personalities: the pure-hearted “true” self, and the Bringer of Death of his lineage. In his true self, Jin is always a friendly man, doing his best to help those around him, whether the help be big or small. He always aims to protect others, yet he remains cautious. Should a fight seem unwinnable, Jin will opt to flee combat rather than stay and fight. However, should he be with allies, he will stay behind to protect the allies at risk of his own. Despite this friendly attitude, there are occasional moments of despondency and distancing himself from others. He is reserved about his past, never telling anyone of the Bringer of Death. Because of the Bringer of Death, he is hesitant to make close friends and allies or even join a Guild due to his volatile nature.
At inconsistent times, the Bringer of Death will manifest itself within Jin. When this happens, his crimson-red eye begins glowing and his personality drastically shifts. He becomes reckless, focusing on an offensive barrage to utterly crush his foes. Rather than trying to focus on protecting others, he will make all his efforts towards killing a for by any means necessary. He becomes incredibly arrogant, propped by the knowledge of his already large body count and the utter destructive force his lineage grants. When outside of combat, Jin will keep up the arrogant attitude, doing his best to make himself the biggest deal in any room at any time. At lower ranks, he will often allude to him “not being at full strength due to a weak vessel.” While “True Jin” will make any sacrifice, including himself, for the benefit of others, the Bringer of Death will will make any sacrifice, including allies, for the benefit of self.
Likes: (What does your character like and why?) 3 minimum, bullet point them individually, with at least one sentence to describe them.
As “True Self”
Helping the helpless. He feels as if he needs to atone for the actions of the Bringer of Death, and so he helps the innocent as a form of karma.
Outsmarting an enemy. While he realizes that strength is a huge part of any battle, strategy is an equally important facet, and he takes great satisfaction at cornering an enemy through smart play
Solitude out of combat. He is by no means a lone wolf, but he doesn’t want anyone to get hurt or die from the Bringer of Death, and so he enjoys taking time away from people.
As Bringer of Death
Chaos. As an embodiment of chaos itself, the Bringer of Death desires for the destruction of countless lives.
Torture. Again, he is the Bringer of Death. That said, while many of his abilities result in instant death, the Bringer of Death finds joy in watching as all hope leaves the eyes of his prey as he savors the kill.
Frozen Sweets. Being a malevolent being of mass destruction is tiring work, and something cold really soothes the palates. Also it brings him back to when he was brought into being, and the memories of blood on the snow.
Dislikes: (What does your character dislike and why?) 3 minimum, bullet point them individually, with at least one sentence to describe them.
As “True Self”
His lineage. He hates that half of his being is a powerful, almost purely evil being, and he does anything in his desire to stop it from coming out.
Abandoning others. By nature, Jin doesn’t want to see his allies or innocent people in pain, and ESPECIALLY not leaving anyone to fend for themselves.
Demons. Perhaps a false connection, but he feels that his lineage is a demon that has possessed his body, and has continued this hatred towards all demons, hoping that no other demon can posses anyone else.
As Bringer of Death
Mercy Kills. While he will gladly kill an enemy quickly in combat, ending combat in an anticlimactic fashion leaves a sour taste in his mouth.
Dragon Slayers. While not a bubbling hatred, Dragon Slayers unnerve the Bringer of Death due to their strange style of combat and their ability to completely nullify one type of attack.
His own blood. Seeing his own blood is a sign of weakness, and infuriates him.

Dying. He is very cautious with his life, and will always try to get away from any life-threatening situation.
As Bringer of Death
Weakness. The way the Bringer of Death sees it, being weak makes it more likely for him to be killed, and he can’t kill people if he’s dead.
Being banished. Despite it being entirely possible that he’s not actually a summoned demon, the Bringer of Death doesn’t want Jin to completely get rid of this side of his personality.
Being hunted. The Bringer of Death takes enjoyment in being the hunter, and often tries to not gather enough attention to become a target for bounty hunters.
