Name: Fidelma "Fi" Finn
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Birthday: 04/29
Sexuality: Bisexual
Special Characteristics: Large, fox-like ears and tail.
Personality: Fi is a caring, strong individual, but she also has an underlying level of pragmatism that holds her from being truly altruistic. She seems innocent enough, at first, but in time many come to realize that she rarely does anything without thinking it through first, and seeing how it may affect her personally. That's not to say she's cowardly, or even necessarily selfish, she's merely a tad more cautious than her attitude would generally lead people to believe. On any given day, one could find her smiling and laughing in the company of friends, telling silly or dirty jokes, and doing ridiculous things due to her energetic and playful nature. Underneath that, though, she has a deeply cynical and jaded view of the world. She feels that she understands how things work, despite her young age. Not everyone has a reason for doing the things they do, and some people are just plain bad. Not only that, but almost everyone in the world is selfish from time to time, and she never seems to stop thinking about what people might be trying to get out of her. The only exception is her friends, who she trusts implicitly, if for no other reason than it would become exhausting to get paranoid over them as well. Lonely, too. She tends to affect a serious attitude at first when meeting new people, as if appraising them as a person before deciding what to think of them. Whatever she decides in the end, though, she tries to be nice and get along well with everyone until they give her a proper reason not to.
When it comes to combat, Fi's pragmatism shines through in earnest. Brutal and efficient to a fault, Fi has little mercy for her opponents once a fight starts. This isn't the case in simple sparring matches, of course, only real fights that have real stakes. She is constantly thinking in a battle, trying to work out a way for her and whatever allies she may have to overcome their foe, regardless of the means. She's not above cheap shots, low blows and dirty tricks, and she's quick to analyze the opponent and their fighting style in order to try and predict how they'll move. It's almost as if she's playing a game of no holds barred, full-contact chess, strangely enough. And she's usually quite good at it, to boot. A strategist through and through, Fi does best in a leadership or advisory role. When in a leadership role, her pragmatism even lets up a bit, as she considers the feelings and well-being of the men and women she commands, usually making her well-liked among followers. She's kind, but ruthless, caring but efficient. She always tries to find the right balance of both, but ironically this is not for entirely good reasons; In fact, ironically, this is a form of pragmatism in itself for Fi. After all, the happier her men are, the more willing they are to follow, and the more she proves her wit, the less they will question her commands when it's really important. Under a leader, Fi is not quite so good. The feeling of being commanded by someone whose true goals she never believes she truly knows is nearly maddening to her, and she can't keep herself from questioning every move and the motive behind every command, even when it's the same call she herself would have made.

General Appearance
Height: 6'00'' (Nearly 6'08'' with ears included.)
Weight: 200 lbs.
Hair: Red-Orange, similar to a fox. Usually kept however it happens to fall that day.
Eyes: Yellow-Gold in color, round, and strangely innocent looking.
Skin Tone: A soft, glowing, healthy white, not quite pale but not quite tan.
Appearance: Fi is a rather shapely young woman, with plenty of sharp curves that even some models would be jealous of. Generally, she doesn't go out of her way to show this off, but that disinterest in looking good only seems to make her look that much better. She has a long, 2-foot, bushy fox-tail and pointed fox ears, as well as a fairly large bust and even wider hips, her waist narrowing out in the middle to form a beautiful hourglass. Her legs make up for the larger half of her overall height, and seem almost to go on and on forever, ending in slender, but still fairly large feet. She usually wears whatever looks comfortable and protective, as well as cool, mainly opting for a dark-colored jacket with fur around the hems and a protective leather half-skirt that's open in the front, with a sort of vest/corset and a pair of short shorts underneath. Usually, she keeps her jacket closed, since she's not really trying to show anything off. Finally, she usually wears thigh-high leather boots, and when planning to go on a mission she also throws on a large, metal pair of grieves to keep her legs safe.

Likes:
- Followers. Not in the sense that she wants everybody to follow her, or even that she wants a large following. More so, she simply enjoys the company of those who are willing to listen to her and do as she suggests, and she does her best to look out for the best interests for these people in turn.
- Food. Any kind of food, really. Fi's not a picky eater at all, and will always eat whatever she takes in full, no matter how bad.
- Altruism. She doesn't really show it, and in fact will often berate people for being altruistic, thinking of it as a fault that could easily get someone killed, but in truth Fi appreciates nothing more than someone who has proven to be truly altruistic in their intentions.
Dislikes:
- Fake Altruism. Hypocritical as it may be, Fi despises those that feign altruism while simply furthering their own goals.
- Being ignored. Perhaps worse than feeling lied to, feeling like she simply doesn't matter puts Fi in a very bad mood, ranging from anger to depression.
- Not knowing things. Part of why she's so cynical is that Fi grew up infuriated by her own ignorance of the world and the things in it. Any time she doesn't know something, or makes a mistake out of ignorance, she can't help but curse and punch the nearest object, potentially even throwing a childish fit.
Motivations:
- Recognition. Fi wants to prove that she's an intelligent and powerful mage. She wants the fame that comes from everyone knowing just how good she is, so she strives to become better and better every day and prove herself over and over until she's recognized all throughout Fiore.
- Friends. She doesn't consider many people as 'friends', due to her skeptical nature. Sure, she'll play nice enough, and even seem like she's your friend, but only those she's decided to trust completely can really call themselves her friend. These special few in her life motivate her to become strong enough to help them realize their own dreams, as well as her own.
- Enemies. Ironically enough, Fi can never quite bring herself to hate her enemies, no matter how evil they act or what they do to her. After all, it's these same people that make her stronger through trials and tribulations, and in the end will lead to the realization of her goals in life, which makes them just as much a motivation as anything else.
- Cynicism. Though it may seem odd, Fi doesn't necessarily enjoy being a cynic. It may help her on plenty of occasions, and she can't really help herself most of the time, but there is an underlying goal behind her choosing to trust people and trying to help those in need. She wants the world to prove to her that being good is worth it, and not just some endless charade that she's putting up. In a way, she wants to become altruistic, though that will probably never happen.
Fears:
- Herself. Yeah, yeah, it's cliche, but it's still true. Fi is always afraid that one day she'll go too far, simply trying to be pragmatic, and wind up hurting someone, or something, that she cares about.
- Love. Fi has an odd aversion to any sort of romantic commitment, always afraid that she'll fall in love with the wrong person and wind up having her heart broken beyond repair. She'd rather not risk it, lending to a sort of playgirl-ish attitude regarding relationships.
- Being Deceived. Probably part of why she is so distrusting of everyone, Fi is terrified of being completely tricked and deceived by those insidious enough to do so. This fear also has something to do with her active decision to trust those she calls 'friend' completely, as she needs to have a break from this paranoia somehow, even if it means being deceived by those very same people in the end.
