Hebisha was staring at the bird, despite not being able to see, before she turned to her companion Samira. "I am awfully sorry you had to pay for this creature," The lamia apologized as she entered the guild halls, some of the people inside already staring at them with curious eyes on what happened and why a bird is on Hebisha, but the lamia heed them no mind. Instead she coils up into a warm part of the guild and strokes the feathers of the bird.
According to the zoo, the bird is named Sam, after the zoo manager's name, seeing how it was seen by her. The plumage was white, like the soft white sands of beaches or the clouds in the sky. It had black tips and multiple black feathers that stuck out from the back of its sleeping head. However the most eye catching feature was the brilliant orange that made up its face, it was vibrant and bright, not that Hebisha could see any of it to begin with. Hebisha let out a sigh, at least she could feel the soft feathers and the rigid ones. Well at least she was feeling that. Hebisha then pulled away suddenly as she felt searing hot sand, but it was for a brief moment.
Where the bird stood, was a rather small person, about the size of a regular exceed. The child size woman clearly had the body structure of an exceed, large head and small body but there was parts of her that screamed she is a bird, or rather the bird named Sam. Donning a military like uniform, and wielding a tiny notebook with a quill on it to match, the girl resembled the secretary bird in terms of color scheme, her hair havinf two wings that belong to a secretaey bird. Hebisha stared in confusion.
"It feels so good being able to have arms and legs again, though not that it matters to begin with," The girl spoke with an upbeat tone, contrasting her serious first impression by looks alone. Hebisha giggled, a first, she could understand in a way. "My name is Maha, pleasure to meet you two, Hebisha and Samira." Hebisha then gound herself relatively dumbfounded, the voice did not come from the girl, it came from her head. Those who can see will note the girl's mouth did not move, but could hear the voice in their heads.
