Player Requirements: 500 Word Requirement.  Must have finished The Shrouded Stalker first.
Job Requirements: Slay all infected animals with as little damage to the village as possible

Job Description: No matter where you are in Fiore, you are suddenly approached by the herbalist who runs to you in a panicked mode.  She begs you to return to her village and save the people in it.  She doesn’t make sense until you calm her down enough to hear that something happened to the animals and they are attacking the villagers.  She believes it’s a result of the weeds.  Upon reaching the village, you see multiple animals, all of them with some sort of purple growth on them like algae, with glowing mushrooms popping out in different areas.  Once the animals are killed, a bear will emerge, being the boss.

In conclusion, it's quite clear that the purple mass on the animals that has seemingly driven them insane and carnivorous, is somehow linked to the purple plants, however you don't know how yet.

Enemies: Players can choose one of these difficulties, or more to fight in the thread.  Players must defeat boss.

Weak: Infected chickens that leap wildly and try scratching you.  They deal half your rank in damage each attack.  It takes two Rank D attack to kill them.  There will be x4 chickens.


Normal: Infected pigs that ram you before attempting to bite you.  They your rank in damage each attack.  It takes 6 rank D attacks to kill them.  There will be x5 pigs.


Strong: Infected wolves that are agile and quick to strike, able to detect weak points.  They deal x2 of your rank in damage each attack.  It takes four rank D attacks to kill them.  They are very evasive as well.  There will be x7 wolves.


Boss: An infected bear.  It’s fur is coated thick in the purple substance, it’s back covered in glowing purple mushrooms.  One of it’s eyes is covered by the substance as well.  The bear will x3 your rank in damage on successful hits and requires ten successful rank D attacks to kill.


Reward: 1,000 jewel

Ezekiel stepped out of the restaurant, he had just treated himself for all the money he had made off that herbalist recently. “Speak of the devil” Ezekiel said as he stepped out, to be greeted by the herbalist sprinting down the street at him. “Slow down would yah, what do you want this time?” “Its the animals in the village, they seem to be infected by the same thing that's making those purple weeds! You have to come back to the village I need your help.” “Fine, but I expect to be rewarded for this, today was my day off.” Ezekiel said as he followed the girl to Beanstalk Village, not to far from here.

Upon arrival Ezekiel noticed that the village chickens were covered in purple growths, like algae covering their entire bodies. Four of the chickens have been infected, and it seems like they worked together to kill the others and eat them! Ezekiel pulled his flute as two of the chickens lept at his face, but he pushed them away before they could hurt him. He didn't notice the other two below him and they pecked he legs and feet, injuring him but not that badly. Ezekiel played a song on his flute, a low note followed by a rapid set of high ones, the spectral arm once again slithered it's way out of the flute like a snake from a basket. It then performed a flurry of punches on one of the chickens on the ground, killing it. Ezekiel kicked the other chicken on the ground sending it flying. The one of the chickens lept again but was met by a punch sending him plummeting. The other chicken had gotten behind Ezekiel and lept onto his back, scratching and pecking at him. Ezekiel shook him off as the others returned, another punch and kick and they were dead, now just one more to deal with. The last chicken had climbed to the top of of the chicken coop and was looking at Ezekiel. Ezekiel ran at the chicken and the chicken lept at him, Ezekiel grabbed the chicken as he jumped and threw him to the ground, after throwing the infected purple chicken to the ground Ezekiel stomped on it finishing it off.

Ezekiel dusted off his clothes as he walked through town, most of the work with dealing with these infected animals was done. He walked back to the herbalist's house to get his payment, passing by the chicken coop he heard a rustling in the bushes as a huge bear charged at him smashing the coop to pieces. Ezekiel rolled to the side just missing the deadly sharp claws of the bear. Ezekiel pulled his flute and played a low quiet note, causing the bear to stop moving as it thought that it couldn't see. Ezekiel ran over to a nearby shed and grabbed a pitchfork, he lined up the attack on the stunned bear and drove the pitchfork through the bear's throat. Ezekiel pulled his flute to his lips and played another tune, this one much more lively, getting louder by the second. The bear was encased with spectral crimson flames, roasting it. Ezekiel grabbed another pitchfork and continued to stab the bear while it was pinned down, stabbing it even after it was long dead.

The herbalist heard the bear's roar and ran to see what the noise was, seeing Ezekiel standing by the dead infecting bear she handed him his payment and waved goodbye as he returned to the guild hall. Like he said, easy money
