Personality:
A young boy from Hargeon who's slowly making his way to maturity. Quinn is generally known as a kind-hearted airhead who happens to be a bit too clumsy. When not falling over his legs like the maniac he is, Quinn also happens to spend a lot of time on daydreaming and getting lost in thought, which is something his parents most definitely do not appreciate. This luckily usually only happens when he's tired, but sometimes he's just in a lazy mood.
Having spent a lot of time helping his father and mother at both home and at work, Quinn grew into a helpful and hardworking individual that, as long as he would be given a reward of some sort, would happily put full dedication into a task he's given. 'Rewards' is a very broad term for Quinn, and the mere happiness of a person could also make him want to participate in achieving certain objectives. He does, however, sometimes accompany his work with a small dose of pessimism and complaints that are often vocalized while he's talking to himself.
His parents greatly value honesty and Quinn did copy that behaviour. He doesn't lie about extremely important things as a result, but still remains marked with 'accidental' lies fueled by both awkwardness and being a bit shy. Quinn is quite timid, not being extremely confident and thus not thinking he's capable of taking on certain situations. It usually helps to have another person or creature by his side, as it offers him some sense of safety.
When talking about Quinn's way of socializing there is a rather clear difference between talking to strangers/very important people, and people he considers friends or good acquaintances. A more unsure, slightly insecure way of speech appears when talking to people he doesn't completely feel comfortable about, but that usually disappears once he gets to know said person better. Quinn happens to be very gregarious, enjoying being around others and also showing that through showing kindness and encouragement.
Quinn also enjoys keeping everything tidy, preferring to avoid any chaos since his clumsiness usually tends to cause for that regardless. Planning things out beforehand is something he likes more than recklessly charging into a situation.
He might not be the most useful person to have around, but Quinn is extremely loyal and finds treachery to be one of the worst things one can do. Any promises he makes will be fulfilled and followed.

Likes:
- Swimming: Having been born and raised in Hargeon town, Quinn has spent a lot of time around the sea and has quite quickly grown fond of it. It wasn't very common for him to sometimes take a quick dive into the water.
- Marine Life: Ties in with his liking of the sea etcetera. Quinn has always been thoroughly interested in what lives and exists underwater.
- A good night's rest: Because what's better than a nice bed and sweet dreams.
- Travelling: Quinn enjoys occasionally travelling to places he has yet to have seen.
- Summer: A perfect combination of (usually) nice weather and beautiful nature!
- Candy: He likes the taste of sweet things so he naturally enjoys most types of candy.
Dislikes:
- Pain: In most cases, Quinn doesn't particularly enjoy being hurt or hurting anyone else. Violence isn't something to solve most cases with, in his opinion, though it sometimes is unavoidable.
- The Cold: He most definitely prefers warmth, always trying to avoid the cold whenever it appears. Quinn's the type of person to go out in winter with the thickest coat he could find, 3 billion scarfs and some nice earmuffs.
- Sour foods: Anything even moderately sour tastes absolutely awful to him.
- Dark Guilds: Quite a natural thing to dislike for someone who chose for the 'good' side, Quinn fails to understand why someone would actively participate in harming others.
- Cooking: Each attempt the poor boy made in the kitchen resulted in massive failure. He often jokingly calls his inability to prepare food a life-threatening curse.
- Reading: A bit of reading on topics that interest him is fine, and Quinn's long list of bestiaries and various other animal-related books definitely acts as evidence for that. However, any book that's a larger size and/or doesn't constantly interest him is often considered more of a chore than something he wants to look at.
Motivations:
- A bright future: Though Quinn does genuinely care about (most) people around him, he'd be a liar if he said he was actively pursuing a career as a guild wizard for solely the sake of others. Guaranteeing a peaceful future for himself is most definitely one of his main goals, and it isn't something he's afraid of saying.
- Wealth: Kind of relates to the motivation mentioned above, Quinn doesn't risk his life simply because he wants to better the world. He obviously does enjoy a reasonable sum of money for his services, and it's something that can keep him motivated to keep working.
- Development: Becoming 'stronger' generally isn't really what he cares about, he simply wants to create a deeper understanding of his own magic and its uses, preferably non-combative uses.
Fears:
- Heights: Quinn has never been very fond of being high in the sky as a result of him nearly falling off a roof at a young age. Looking down at a reasonable height causes for him to almost instantly start thinking about him possibly falling down, which is definitely not a thought he's comfortable with.
- Death: He doesn't think about his own removal from the world very often, but knowing that some of his family members might not live as long as he'd want them to does sometimes cause for a sense of fear.
- Bees: Quinn likes animals, especially fish. He would happily jump into the water with a highly dangerous predator and generally not be as frightened as the average human being should be. However, the mere sight of a bee (or anything that looks like one) will terrify him beyond explanation. His general reaction is to A) Attack it with everything he has, or B) Run for his life, the latter being more popular. Passing out is also an option, though not quite a voluntary one.
And that all because one bee stung him in the cheek when he was 5 years old.
