    Job Title: Volcanic Abduction
    Rank: C Rank
Player Requirements: Must have at least C rank, minimum of 2 mages; 4,500 words per player. Must be in Onyx Moon Guild.

Job Requirements:The mission is to find the dark wizards, save the hostages, and kill or apprehend the criminals. The mission fails if any of the four hostages are killed.
    Job Location: Raging Volcano
Job Description: A report has come in of a job gone horribly wrong. A simple mission involving the escort of a well known merchant family of Oak Town, given to a group of D rank mages out of Oak Town, has failed. The goal was for the mages to take the two parents and their 12 year old child across the lands to make it to a family reunion in another village, and then escort them back. Somewhere along the lines, the group was attacked by dark mages, though the guild if there is one, is unknown. Of the three D rank mages, one has been killed, one has been captured, and the third has made it back to report the demands of the dark wizards. The family has been taken hostage, somewhere in the far volcanic region, and they demand a sum of 100,000 jewels for their safe return. The D rank mage who made it back informs the Magic Council that there were high ranked wizards present and that the time limit is two days before they drop the hostages into a volcano. The poor D rank mage passed out after giving the information and has not reawakened. The Council has specifically asked for the Black Sails guild to take care of this quickly.

    Enemies:

    Weak:
Dark Mage Assistants x5: These assistants don't just carry all the supplies like pack mules, make the meals for superiors, or take phone calls in some back office. These assistants act as lookouts. They where black and red uniforms, making it easy for them to hide and watch. Kill or apprehend them silently or they will flee back to their superiors and inform them that you are in the area and on your way. This could put those hostages at risk. The assistants take 2 C rank hits to take down. If forced to fight, they will deal 1/2 C rank damage with small daggers poorly wielded. They will always try to flee first and inform on you before trying to fight and they have impressive speed. To help with this, they each carry Smoke Lacrima.

    Normal:
Dark Mages x5: These mages are average and have been practiced in both magic and various weaponry. They don't seem to have any guild tattoos and are dressed in dark red clothing: trenchcoat like jackets with too many pockets and too many belts to be considered rational. They take 5 C Rank hits to take down and deal various types of damage. They are C ranked for speed, strength, and spells, but some spells deal much higher damage.
Magical bladed weapons with blood runes: Weapons are able to deal damage and heal the user for that damage when they hit. Weapons can deal C Rank damage.
Fire and Wind spells: They can knock you off your feet, create small firestorms, throw fireballs or blades of wind to cut you to ribbons. Spells deal C or B Rank damage depending on how they hit and are dependent on rp.

    Strong:
Dark Mage Leaders x2: These mages are very powerful and are the leaders of the group. They also where dark red clothing, robes and large golden jewelry which could be magic items or not. They have the family and are willing to kill them if their demands are not met. You can try to trick them into letting the family go, but priority dictates that the family's safety comes first. Note also that there is a D rank mage held hostage and he may be willing to help you if you manage to rescue him first. The mage leaders take 10 C Rank hits each to take down. The two mages work together well, having one mage leader create buffs and debuffs, or heal, while the other attacks as an unstoppable force. If you get close, neither are afraid to fight in melee combat, using poison-tipped daggers and teleport spells to appear within close range quickly. These mages are not poorly trained, they are strong.

Heal spells: Heal 1 C rank damage.
Buff spells: Improve speed or strength/damage by 1 Rank.
Debuff spells: Reduce speed or strength/damage by 1 Rank.
Elemental spells: Can use wind, fire, water, ice, lightning etc. The spells created deal C to B Rank damage depending on how they hit and are dependent on rp. They can knock you off your feet, shoot fireballs or lightning bolts, freeze your feet to the ground temporarily, and set off small explosions of their element at a far range. Their most impressive spell combo tends to be a a combination attack of two elements resulting in a large AoE spell (you can combine lightning and water for powerful shockwaves and electrocution, lightning and wind for sound and shockwaves that cause temporary loss of hearing, or anything else relevant and related.)
Poison Tipped Daggers: Deftly used, these daggers deal only D Rank damage, but the poison deals D rank damage to the MP of the targeted mage that lasts for two rounds (10% initial, and then 10% in next post- a total of 20% loss after two rounds)

    Boss:
Dark Mage Leaders x4: See information above.

Reward: 20K Jewels and C rank experience. If you fight all enemies (using the boss level mages in place of the strong mages) than you will earn C rank experience and 30K Jewels
