Personality: At first glance, Dmitry seems aloof, uncaring, and downright lazy. And in some cases, well, he is. He tends to disregard the feelings of those he is not acquainted with. However, he often shows a fierce, almost primal loyalty to those who have earned his trust. Outside of his loyalties, he has shown himself to have quite a few quirks of his own. Often times he will think silently to himself for a time only to randomly blurt out a nonspecific item in his train of thought, much to the confusion of those around him. His conversational skills could also use a bit of work. Sometimes he will completely tune out what someone is saying to him and other times he will listen for a short time only to walk away mid conversation after losing interest. That isn’t to say he doesn’t talk often. In fact, he often says whatever is on his mind, so long as he isn't trying to hide himself. He has also been known to move about on his own on jobs with other guild mates or to simply leave the guild hall for extended and random periods of time, usually to sate some curiosity that he will neglect to talk about. It’s no surprise for him to seclude himself in deep thought, especially after something important happens to him or those he cares about. His enigmatic nature leaves mixed impressions among his comrades. However, as long as he can protect the things and the people he values, his image couldn’t mean less to him; pride was never something he held in very high regard.
Dmitry’s attitude changes quite a bit when it comes to combat, as he becomes much more focused and concerned. He tends to develop a sort of tunnel-vision when he finds a certain objective that needs completing or a target that needs removing. This sometimes gets in the way of any teamwork, especially if he has difficulty dealing with said target or objective. As far as leadership skills go, he has potential but isn't there yet. He tends to have a hard time conveying things to allies due to his poor communication skills, but he is used to coordinating attacks thanks to his particular type of magic. His willpower can also be inspiring at times, as his magic is dependent on it. Under a separate leader, he does well enough, but that leader must be someone Dmitry respects or he may not follow their orders. Obedience aside, he often approaches a situation calmly and methodically; there isn't much you can do to mentally shake him. However, if one of his friends is ever hurt in combat, then that fierce loyalty of his takes over and an animalistic rage fills him. While this rage usually passes after the threat has subsided, it can be an inconvenience in battle to say the least. Indeed it could very well be the distraction that kills him. But it could also be that which pushes him forward in a critical situation, when what he needs more than anything else is the motivation to fight with every breath in his lungs.
