Was it really necessary to come out all the way to Bellum in order to help this man? Surely, he was capable of making his way to at least a more accessible location other than the exact village he was trying to get escorted out of. It didn’t really make sense in the grand scheme of things but could it really be as bad as he described? Were those without magic really treated that badly? Her chestnut hair flowing freely underneath her hooded figure, she’d look around at the streets of Crystal Town. It looked rather well off to be completely honest. There was a fair bit of people who looked wealthy but upon closer inspection, she noticed all the wait staff in some cafes. They looked malnourished and some even had visible bruises. Entering a café, Lilium would be served by a small woman. She looked almost sickly pale. It was worrying the holy mage as she asked where she’s like to be seated. The noblewoman pointed to a nearby table and the waitress smiled at her. She awkwardly returned it, worried that the woman might pass out at any second. She was getting worse at interacting with people. Lilium has been reverting to her old habits and has been more prone to closing herself off in conversations. Sighing, she’d slink further back into her hood as she heard a nagging male voice in her head, “Oh, careful. You might cut yourself on all that edge there.” Narrowing her eyes at no one in particular, her eyes would flicker gold as she thought “Oh bite me. Big talk from a noble king without the weapon that carried his entire legend.” If she wasn’t in public, Arthur probably would have held her head within his palm and slowly increase the pressure, threatening to crush her skull. She made sure that she only talked to him like this where there was witnesses. While Lilium slowly was getting more powerful, the king was still on a power level completely so she tried not to sass him when it was just them. Since there was the fact that he was being more powerful, he treated her like a nuisance and it made her want to punt him to be completely honest. But thanks to Athena, she was stuck with him. The waitress lead her to the table and it was a rather small restaurant to be completely honest. However, it was the time of day where they were winding down after the lunch rush so it was mainly people who were finishing their meals. Upon further investigation, Lilium narrowed her eyes on the foot that was protruding out of a booth. The man it belonged to saw how the waitress was looking at the table and was prepared to trip the non mage. Honestly, based on how frail she looked, a fall could seriously hurt her in this state. Placing a hand on her shoulder, the waitress would stop and give her a questioning look. With an ice cold glare on her face, Lilium would walk up to the man’s foot and dig into it with her heel. He winced and looked at the woman, about to cuss her out but he recognized her as the newest Ace of Black Rose. He looked back into his mug as she sat down at her table. The waitress thanked her as she sat down and Lilium smiled softly at her. It’s not like she had done anything of note. She just wanted to protect someone who seemed like they weren’t used to kindness. Ordering a small slice of chocolate cake, Lilium would look around at the restaurant and catch a blonde man walking towards her table. The noblewoman’s face visibly paled as he sat down, with a sickeningly sweet and smug smirk. “So, what were you saying about my sword?” Lilium pulled her hood down further as she ate her cake. However, doing this obscured her vision from the gloved hand that proceeded to chop her in the head. “Ow!”

The duo was walking around town, Arthur surveying the area while Lilium was reviewing the request in her mind. This was weird. Lilium didn’t like working with allies anymore but she kind of got stuck with Arthur the day after she had visited her family to see what they were doing. That day… really stung. In all honesty, she doesn’t know why Arthur came to help her on that day. But he had shown kindness to her then although that isn’t apparent at all now. They had antics similar to sibling and Lilium appreciated the company. She had felt her social presence had recently flopped and she is rather distrusting of new people she meets. No one has seen her in this form yet other than her guild master and she was hesitant to reveal who she once was. She didn’t really have a right to tell people that she was living a lie before. Did she really have a right to the friends she had? A light pat on the head from Arthur as he looked down at the girl with his deep blue eyes, “Clear those up for now. We need to get focused.” Nodding, the woman would walk around with Arthur until they reached their destination. The house was rather grand but on the side, she saw a small hut. Walking over, her suspicions were correct as she saw the male who requested their help. He was a small brunette male and just like the waitress, looked like he was underfed and Lilium was worried he might break at the slightest touch. She opened her mouth to speak, but the blonde spirit spoke before her. “We heard your request for help. We are from Black Rose.” It’s fine. Let the former king sweet talk his way into helping. The young non-mage explained his situation and it honestly disgusted the noblewoman. Just because he was born without magic doesn’t mean you treat him like the scum of the Earthland. Lilium leaned against the wall as Arthur spoke to the boy. Hopefully, they can get across the border safely and quickly. With Arthur and Lilium, it should work out quickly. Although the boy didn’t mention if anyone else was coming on the job and she couldn’t keep her hopes up to be honest.

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

Life was good in the winter of this year, especially after the events that had happened recently in the past. Life was finally picking up again after the war between guilds, and with that, new things came like the snow that fell from the sky above. It was really cold, especially while flying through the sky, but the garments that Desirée began to wear before the time she claimed the title of a "Guild Master" were definitely helpful in this type of weather. From the head down, she was dressed in rather thick yet beautiful garments, that of which made her look like she was either in authority or trying to stay as snug as possible. Both of those things were true since the establishment of Crystal Swan, and with that, the once rose on her wrist was now that of a swan with beautiful crystal wings and four different colors, all an assortment of blue. However, the outfit that she was wearing today was mostly blue with hints of red, gold, white, and black, and kept her warm as she jet across the skies with the essence of rainbows and auroran light flying around her body. Her hair was now tucked away in an adorable hat that had peaches, her signature pink flower, and a golden accessory of a crown pin. However, as she was flying through the sky in this state, her scarf fluttered behind her where it was not tied tightly and draped, along with Kiwi and Strawberry floating on each side of her producing two strands of pink and green light as they flew quickly.

Desirée had hopped off the side of Crystalli hours ago and was finally approaching the destination she was flying to, Crystal Town. It was surprising that she had not been to this town before considering she is the Queen of the species known as "Crystals," but after all, town names were just town names. It was the first job that she had taken since the establishment of Crystal Swan, and removing it from the job board felt just as different as it did familiar. After all, the last job she did before that she had taken from the Black Rose job board, therefore it had made her feel like nothing changed. However, everything had changed in her life after her kidnapping, therefore it was definitely different taking a job from a board once again. This being said, Desirée knew that it was definitely necessary for her to still take jobs and perform them well in addition to her idol work and management of the guild, as she still had much more to learn and wished to do much more work for the world. Being a legal mage was something that she enjoyed in heavy amounts, being that she loved to make other people smile and have joy resonate in other people's minds. She was now fully recovered from the physical and mental pain that she had went through after the war and was fully ready to act just as she did before then, a very joyous and happy individual that would help anyone in need if they were willing to receive it. It was why she accepted the job that she was going on now, as there was a poor man abused for the fact that he did not wield ethernano inside of his body. Desirée was to escort him to the border of Pergrande, which she assumed would be an easy and harmless task. Sure, she was possibly going to have to fight some people that wished to harm him like the others did, but she was fully prepared to do so. Two lacrimas resonating in her body along with a grappling hook, a saber on her back, and a sniper rifle in her pocket, she would be able to be recognized as a powerful force to be reckoned with along with a container of joy, strong magical energy, and confidence to get the job done.

After hours of flight, the party of three was finally beginning to approach where they were asked to meet below the skies on ground level. Beginning to descend, the aura that coated Desirée's body began to slightly tone down, the colors turning much more transparent than they usually were. After she had shot downward and to the ground level, she figured that it would still be about a ten minute walk from where she landed, therefore she began to look around the streets that she landed upon in order to get a general idea of what this "crystal" town truly was about. It didn't appear to be made of crystals at all, which was definitely a shame, but did feel like it had immense magical power built into its foundation. Every place the eye could see were mages, showcasing their magical power in the form of their everyday tasks, the actions that they carried out on others, and other things they wished to do. The place was like the reverse of The Neutral Grounds, as there seemed to be an endless abundance of magical energy pulsing around the area at all times. Similar to other places, there were shops lining the outsides of the large streets and houses lining the outsides of the small streets, and she just so happened to be walking down a larger street. As she walked, she passed counter after counter of food places, and she could not resist to stop by one and pick up a drink. At a rather alcoholic counter she had picked up a large Styrofoam cup which was filled with spiked lemonade, that of which appeared to be a bright yellow-green in color with beautiful ice cubes floating on the inside. The salesperson told Desirée that the ice cubes were enhanced with magical power just like the lemons and sugar made into the drink, that of which would keep the vodka-based lemonade constantly cold until it was consumed all the way. In addition to this, when finished, the cup would instantly fade into the air around it, being totally safe for the environment. The drink was very inexpensive too, therefore it was a win-win for everyone in the situation. Paying and beginning to sip the lemonade, she would start walking down the streets once again, making her way to the meeting spot that she was to start the expedition from. She was told that a man would be there and was given a physical description, therefore it would most likely not be able to be missed.

After about ten minutes of walking, she finally arrived at the place that she was supposed to meet the boy that she was to be escorting. As she had walked up to the area, he seemed to be faced toward another woman that appeared to be here to assist him as well in addition to another man, that of which Desirée thought to have never seen before. However, around her the magical energy that she had produced had felt rather interesting and familiar, that of which she felt as though she had come in contact with recently. Her footsteps began to make small tapping sounds as she progressed toward the group of three, and as the boy that was described on the job request turned toward her, he instantly gasped and began to squeal in a girly manner. "EEEEEEeeeEEeEeE~! DESIRÉE BLOOMS! THE... DESIRÉE BLOOMS! Like, the idol, the musician, the dancer, the rapper, the legend! I have all of your merchandise! Oh my god! You are like, so much hotter in person! Your radiance is just like how it is on television and onstage! Just looking at you makes me feel... EEEEeeEE~~!!" he began to squeal and bounce back and forth around her, and all she could do is smile and bow forward in response. He was one of those fans, the ones that went absolutely crazy at the sight of the idol and guild master. It was a bit of an annoyance at times, but it was definitely something that was considered sweet in the eyes of the idol. After all, he was supporting her success in the industry, so she could not complain. "Yes, I am Desirée Blooms, a mage of Crystal Swan and Worldwide Idol! I am here to assist you in your escort to Pergrande~" she told the party with a smile, Kiwi also smiling while Strawberry hid behind the guild master's neck. Walking over to the woman that was leaning against the wall, Desirée greeted her with another bow and held out her hand, the small crown pin on her hat twinkling about as the light hit it's golden layers. "It is nice to meet you! I assume you are here to assist in the quest? My name is Desirée, yours?" she asked her as their eyes met, and all Desirée could feel is that she had met her before. But where?

Arthur was smiling rather kindly at the man. He felt somewhat full of pity for him, as he explained his story about his friend to him and how grateful he was that mages were coming to assist him in this journey. The former king didn't enjoy seeing people unhappy, as it was a goal for him when he was alive to help all those he came across and who were in need of it. Smiling gently at the non-wizard, the blonde king would speak with eloquence, "Don't worry. We will be here for your entire journey. As a former knight, I solemnly swear tha-" A ringing- my apologies. A squeal came from the adult male who was talking to Arthur and it was a rather loud one at that. He was in disbelief at the newest mage who had shown up. It was Desireé Blooms, world renowned idol and guild master of the newly formed Crystal Swan. More importantly, in relation to Lilium, she was an old comrade, to say the least. She hadn't really interacted with her when they had met up on that job but... she was quite a handful to deal with. Lilium rubbed the bridge of her nose to relieve some stress that was beginning to well up in her stomach. Of all people, why on Earthland did it have to be her? There was so much other people who could have shown up on this job. At this point, the noblewoman wouldn't even mind working with people from dark guilds. But, fate works in mysterious and rather cruel ways as it would seem. Arthur walked over to Lilium, rubbing his ear. The screech that the young male just emitted was rather ear shattering and even if he was a spirit, that really hurt to hear. Arthur looked at the holy mage, concern glazing over his sky blue eyes. "You know her. Don't you?".

Crossing her arms and leaning against the wall, Lilium would pull up her hood and look at her Heroic Spirit. Speaking rather quietly, the brunette would say, "I mean, I knew of her. She was an Ace of the guild. I was..." Twiddling her thumbs for a moment and watching them, she'd mumble, "...just hoping I wouldn't have to see anyone who knew me as Hikari for a little while." Arthur rolled his eyes and gently chopped her on her head. She really let the situation she had caused with her parents to influence her negatively. A few months ago, she would be eager to chat and talk with Desireé but right now, the holy mage didn't even want to be near her. But since this was a mission and not high school, they had to work past this. Arthur grabbed the holy mage's wrist and she opened her mouth to protest but she knew it was rather pointless to protest. First of all, when Arthur swears to someone, he will never break the oath that he makes. It was very honourable but at times like this, it was honestly just a huge pain. Second of all, Lilium knew how she was reacting was very childish in all honesty. It was just working with someone. It's not like she had to be friends with the idol. And after seeing how some fans react to her, Lilium doesn't really want to see what could happen if someone sees her talking to their goddess basically. The Heroic Spirit would look at the crown that the idol wore and almost look offended but Lilium flicked him in the forehead to get rid of the look on his face. Smirking as she turned around to face her former guildmate, she'd feel a pain in her chest as she looked at her. It was getting extremely hard to be around people, even more so when they knew her as Hikari. She felt like she had deceived them. Lied to them. She probably didn't even deserve to be alive near them. She lost that privilege when she lied to them. Words formed into phrases that ended up becoming jumbled messes as she thought about potential outcomes for every situation. She was overthinking things and was running blank. Everything felt slower as she tried to think of every potential thing she could do in this situation. All the goods and bads. All the positives and negatives of each outcome. Until,

"Hello, young lady! My name is Arthur and this is my contractor, Lilium." He'd hold his hand out to greet the young idol but retract it once he considered how the fan might react that his idol's holier than thou hand touched a mongrel. Lilium would curtsy silently as she didn't look Desireé in the eye. It was hard to be around her but she'd have to live with it for the sake of the mission. She can't let her emotions get in the way of her decisions and behaviour and needs to act as naturally as she can. She can let Arthur do the talking anyways. He's a lot better at it. Speaking rather quietly, the noblewoman would mention, "I'll begin prepping the carriage. Add some defenses here and there. Just let me know if you need me." As she turned Arthur would pat her on the head, sighing somewhat with annoyance but pity. He felt bad but was annoyed with how much she was avoiding confrontation. Walking over to the carriage, Lilium would eye it carefully, considering how many enchantments she can place on this without them getting caught at the border for longer than they have to because based on who was coming on this journey, they were at least guaranteed to be stopped.

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

The snow that fell from the sky above in the form of tiny and soft clumps began to form into that of snowflakes, each of which was special in their own way. Each of these snowflakes were simply beautiful, but also very cold; the breath of the idol could be seen coming out from her mouth as she breathed. Desirée definitely enjoyed seasons like spring and summer much more than the colder months, as it made the scenery much more colorful and not as chilly. Reinforcing her scarf that sat around her neck in the color of a deep red, she reached out to meet her hand with the blonde that had introduced himself in response to her introduction. However, his hand soon retracted for some unknown reason, that of which made the blue-haired idol awkwardly hold her hand outward for a few seconds before bringing it back into her own zone and placing it around the base of her cup with the other. "It is nice to meet you, Arthur and Lilium. It sure is cold today, isn't it?" the guild master commented as she took her right hand and picked up the large hat that sat on her head, knocking off the snow that was beginning to settle on the flat surfaces onto the ground below her and a bit onto the blue messenger bag that was situated around her chest. Swiping the snow that landed onto it off, it fell quickly onto the ground in a large clump, as if it were a depressed snowman that had casually melted away.

The boy in which they were escorting was standing beside the idol in awe, a large bag on the back of his body in the color of beige. As for his appearance, he looked to have a large set of black and circular glasses covering most of his face for better vision, in addition to curly pink hair and fair skin. Freckles covering his nose and cheeks and winter clothing consuming most of his body, his build looked to be of someone that did not go outside much. "My name is Billy Glasscock! I can't believe this is happening! EEeeEEEeEE~!!" the boy squealed once again, resulting in Strawberry letting out an uncomfortable sigh before hopping into Desirée's soul in order to not have to hear the noise. Kiwi soon followed while covering where his ears would be located, both holding a look to their faces that expressed the emotion of being... annoyed. While he screeched, the Guild Master flinched slightly, causing the flower that was pinned to her hat to slightly bounce in retaliation. Sipping her drink simply because she did not want to say anything, Desirée looked toward Arthur and then back to Billy, seeing how much the two's faces could possibly differ. After she had drunk more and more of her drink, she placed her drink onto the flat ground below her and removed a pink compact and a clear lip-gloss from her bag, opening it to reveal the mirror and begin applying the layer of the transparent finish.

"This has been my first time ever coming to Crystal Town, and will be my first time going to Bellum. Do you know anything about the area and the route there?" Desirée asked the blonde in the winter clothing, pushing her long strands of hair toward where they would stay put; behind her ear. Looking over to the carriage, she would see Lilium around it, but her main focus was toward all of the belongings that were situated in the back parts. He was really moving everything that he owned, each thing being packed and slung across the back sections and even some of the seats; only four seats remaining, all in one row toward the front. The disorganization of the clutter in the back definitely irked the Guild Master, as she preferred clean things. However, it would definitely be worth putting up with due to acting out a good deed, as well as a large pay. Desirée also had many options of what to do on the way there; she brought her headphones if they were not talkers, food for breaks packed away in containers, and a magical cloth in which she needed to use to clean her weapons. Putting away her lip gloss and highlighter compact back into her makeup bag, she once again picked up her drink and began to sip it once again, her eyes shimmering into a bright blue color; just like her hair.

Arthur stood quietly, adjusting his red scarf so that he could breathe a little better. The glasses that had appeared with this outfit were nothing more than false because as a spirit, his senses were at peak performance. They mainly served as a face accessory. Nonetheless, the blonde male rubbing the glasses as they clouded up from his breathing. After watching Desireé put her hand back, the king felt a little remorse at his reaction. Sure, she was wearing something that made his legacy feel false and... no, that was it. He didn't really want to put up with that because his legend wasn't something to be trampled on, in that moment, he heard a dry laugh in his head, "Petty much?" The blonde knight glared in the general direction of the carriage before the sound of Billy's screech got caught in his ear. If he had thought the first scream was bad, this one managed to worsen itself by ten times the original amount. Everything about what this boy just did hurt Arthur to the core. However, Arthur looked at the blue haired idol with a sideways glance as her eyes swapped from him to Billy rapidly before she started applying makeup. She really wears her emotions on her shoulders. Lilium began using mana on the carriage, reinforcing whatever weak links there was. Arthur's attention shifted from his contractor to the idol once again as she asked about the area and the route that they'd be taking. Arthur rubbed the back of his hair awkwardly. He hadn't been to this part of Fiore in eons. He wasn't even sure what the current name of these lands were so he'd been relying on Lilium because he was rather clueless of where to go in this day and age. However, that was a rather convoluted answer to a relatively simple question, so he'd chuckle before smiling, saying, "Ah, I haven't visited this part of Fiore. It's relatively new land to me. I would have expected an idol to know the land she is famous in at least." Oops. That extra bit at the end slipped out of his thoughts and into his words. He usually didn't have a filter when he spoke to Lilium so he forgot that he might need that when speaking to those who don't know how he usually acts quite yet. Awkwardly loosening his scarf, Arthur would smile as he looked to Lilium, who signaled him with a thumbs up. "Ah, my my! Look at that. She's finished the preparations in the carriage! Let's get this show on the road, shall we?" Walking over to Lilium as she made a face towards how the luggage was set up. It really looked like he simply piled everything into the carriage and hoped for the best. This wouldn't do. Lilium snapped her fingers and all the luggage was brought into Arcadia. This way, if the carriage was attacked, all his belongings were saved. At least she could aid with one glaring issue that bugging her.

The carriage honestly remained mostly the same in appearance. All Lilium really did was clean up a few issues here and there. Like there was some loose pieces of wood but she had put them back into place with her magic. This trip was honestly rather poor planned but she couldn't expect luxury conditions and high quality with someone who didn't have magic in a city that completely thrived off of it. Maybe for Billy this was high quality. Or, honestly he could be wasting his money on buy Desireé's merchandise and not budgeting properly. But, they weren't here to question his life choices; they were here to help him escape this hellish city for him. Peeking into the carriage, there was four seats. Probably enough for all of them but they needed someone to guide the carriage. Glancing at Arthur for a moment, who'd only nod in confirmation as he grabbed the reins of the horses and waited for everyone to get on. She had told Billy to sit in one corner in the carriage before whispering to Desireé, "I'm still going to be here but I'd advise sitting on the opposite end of the carriage from him." Half saying this in jest and half in genuine concern, Lilium would step into the carriage and sit in another corner, summoning a book out of Arcadia and beginning to turn the pages, becoming engrossed with fantasy world of her novel.

It was rather fun reading when this ride started. She wasn't really paying attention to the situation of those around her so she didn't really know what Billy was up to, nor Desireé. Arthur would look back into the carriage and the two would make eye contact and their eyes would both change to a shade of gold as they went back and forth.

"Hey. Why have you not said a single word this ride?"

    "Opportunity never presented itself."

"Is that a book? I told you when we are on missions, you aren't allowed to read! You get too easily distracted.

Looking away, Lilium would look at the cover of her book. She had gotten to an interesting part too. They were probably going to reveal who the main hero was going to choose to save between two competing love interests. The plot had been mediocre as of late, but this was propelling it closer to the top of the food chain in terms of novels for young adults at the moment. However, social grace is more required than finding out who the young man will choose. Closing her book gently and placing it on her lap, brushing her hair behind ear, she'd say without missing a beat, "How have you been since you left Black Rose? I saw your note." She was a member of the guild after all. The note was placed somewhere everyone could see. She felt as though at that time, she never knew the girl close enough to try to contact her after she left so she let communications drop. The last that the former Rising Star heard of the idol was how she had started her own guild. She was rather interested in hearing what she has done recently, despite what her rather dead tone may suggest. Looking at Desireé with her hazel eyes, as they slowly transitioned back from the gold they were moments ago. "I hope that you have been well. But fate seems to work in ways that test us."

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

Pushing one of her long strands of blue bangs to the side of her face from the front where it had drifted, the idol once again raised her lemonade to her mouth and began to sip it, trying to lessen the vibrancy of the pink-haired boy's presence as he very attentively stood next to her. Her eyes drifting off into the small clumps of snow that fell from the sky into their evenly assorted layer of white, the only unevenness of the layer being of footprints that were left from people walking across the lush grass. However, the blonde's words caused her attention to bounce back into full attentiveness; he had expected Desirée to know every place in which she was famous, which was a lot to ask. After all, she was only 18 years of age, therefore it would nearly be impossible to know every single location across the world in which people listened to her music- it was simply unrealistic, and slightly passive-aggressive. "I don't typically stray from Fiore, I apologize." the Guild Master stated as she quietly shook the cup, the ice shifting around while making a swishing sound and cooling the warmer parts of the surface toward the bottom. Glancing over to the carriage and seeing the hazel haired girl signalling the knight with a thumbs up, the blonde told the blue-haired girl that the preparations of the carriage were ready in full; it made the idol happy that the mission would finally be able to start and progress. Smiling and nodding in response to Arthur, Desirée began to follow him toward the carriage while guiding Billy to walk behind her. Leaving a trail of footprints in the snow, the party of the three humanoids walking through the snow advanced toward the carriage, while the party of two bio-luminescent organisms sitting snug inside the soul of the talented musician.

The carriage could have been described as neither bad nor good quality; it was essentially a singular carriage of decent quality filled with layers upon layers of belongings- that was, until Lilium had caused all of the luggage to simply disappear in a glaze of golden light. An act of magic is what the girl could assume, but it was definitely beautiful nevertheless. Stepping onto the carriage with Billy following behind, Lilium seemed to speak to the pink-haired boy and tell him where to sit, along with suggesting to sit as far away from him as possible; it was definitely something that Desirée thought as well. "Believe me, I plan on it." the idol thought to herself as her eyes expressed her thoughts quite well, widening her eyes following with a quick nod in agreement. Sitting down across from the pink-haired boy and placing her messenger bag next to her in the seat, she was much closer to Lilium than she was the other two; they were all very close though, considering how small the carriage truly was. As she sat down, she removed the hat that covered her head and placed it against the seats that she was sitting upon, soon following in the guild master reaching into her pocket and removing a large sniper rifle and an iridescent and holographic cloth that shimmered greatly with the light that hit it from the openings of the cloth. With a few clicks upon the thicker parts of the Stella Pluvis, the carrier of its ammunition released in a glowing pop and dropped into Desirée's lap, appearing as a small square with a rotating golden magical circle. The inside of this technology was an endless storage of liquid stardust; upon being attached to the gun and the trigger being pulled, it would form the bullet and be able to fly at great speeds.

Looking up from the rag that she was using to clean her gun, the Guild Master noticed that Billy was staring at her intensely; it resulted in her immediately looking back downward toward the rifle in order to not fuel his joy even more. The rag that she was using was a magical rag that she had purchased in a large shopping center in Rose Garden; it was specially made to be able to clean weapons efficiently, increasing their sharpness, luster, effectiveness, and many other aspects. It was much more suited for swords, but using it on her gun was definitely a benefit; it would prevent the magical vat of stardust to not get clogged or jammed while in use. As she silently cleaned the shimmering designs of the extended portion of the stardust shooter, her eyes soon drifted to that of Lilium speaking once again; this time, it was much more relevant to Desirée's experiences in the past. It was a question of how she was after she had left Black Rose, including that of the hint that she had saw her note. A note that was written during one of the darkest times of her life, a note that was stained with tears, shaky handwriting, and excessive verbiage. Looking downward toward the floor of the carriage as her hands brushed through her hair, her cheeks began to be glossed over in a rosy pink color; it was slight and barely noticeable, but she was slightly embarrassed. However, she was asking for anyone in the Inn to read it by posting it in such an obvious place; it was to no surprise that Lilium was one to have read it as well.

"My life has been very exciting and eventful, it has been moving very quickly with great joy," the Guild Master began to speak as her eyes did not drift from the floor and the white surface that could be discreetly seen through its slits, "I'm sorry that was your first impression of me... it was not really written in one of my happier states, unfortunately." Desirée looked up toward Lilium and graced her with a slight smile, looking back down toward the gun and proceeding to shine its exterior with the rag of rainbow colors. With a flash of pink and green light out of her chest, Kiwi and Strawberry emerged from where the soul would be located and sat upon the bag and hat, their faces having wide smiles across. Like Kiwi and Strawberry, Desirée was very curious about the girl that sat near her in the carriage; something about her was just familiar, especially the way she spoke and her magical aura. "How long have you been in Black Rose? I don't remember ever seeing you at the Guild Hall out of the time I was there." the idol asked in fascination, her eyes glancing over toward Lilium as she fastened the bottom of the gun that she had taken off to clean. With each swipe the gun twinkled with a hint of rainbow colors before turning into its typical gold, silver, white, and brown; it was very shiny and completely clean. Slipping the gun and its cleaning rag back into the pocket of her outfit, Desirée removed her iLac and proceeded to open a social-media platform, scrolling through her profile and watching the idol performances that her account was tagged in. She had a concert planned in a few days in Ace of Spades, so catching small errors would only make that concert much more enjoyable for those attending. If Lilium or Arthur were not to answer her question, respond to her statement, or initiate conversation, the Guild Master would remove a set of white earbuds from her bag and begin listening to the set-list of the songs she was to perform then.

Arthur would feel the awkwardness within the cabin as he watched Desireé react to what his master had just asked. At the time, he was watching her and they hadn't formally met actually. He knew at the time, she went under the alias 'Hikari' instead of actual given name of Lilium. Either way, if she didn't realize by now, she might have walked herself into a moment where she could either tell the truth, or completely lie to the idol and based on how the holy mage acts, she wouldn't want to do either. Lilium would silently grip her novel tighter in her lap as she came to the exact same realization. She had driven herself into a corner and she knew that the blue haired woman would pick up on her word choice as well. Breathing out a short sigh, Lilium would put a hand to her chest as she calmly listened to what the idol was saying. Her life had been going up hill and that was good for her. The chestnut haired woman couldn't really say the same but at least one of them had been having success in life. Glancing at Desireé as she continued to speak, Lilium would catch a breath in her throat for a moment as she spoke about the letter being her first impression of her. She actually started to cough for a minute as she caught her breath. Opening a portal to Arcadia, she'd reach in and grab a gold water bottle. Sure, it was unneccessarily flashy but most things in Arcadia were and she had to put up with this. Wiping her mouth as she placed the water bottle back in the portal, she'd make eye contact with the new guild master as she slowly moved her eyes away as she continued speaking. Ah, there it was. This was the split incident where she had a choice to make. She could either tell Desireé the truth or lie to her face. Her eyes would glow a faint gold as Arthur tried to speak with her but at the moment, she was denying him contact. She wanted to reach this decision alone and both of their eyes glowing gold might hint the idol off that the two were speaking. Blinking, her eyes would remain their normal hazel colour as she smiled somewhat forced towards her job partner. God, she didn't even want to know what this 'Billy' character was up to. She was very concerned with what she wanted to do in this scenario. Welling up some courage within her chest, she'd smile as she'd say, "Ah, I'm an older member actually. I hadn't been at the guild hall much when you were around. Was doing some soul searching but never actually went back to the hall until after I heard the news of it's destruction."

Lying. It came fairly naturally to the noble woman as she fidgeted with the fabric of her hood for a moment as she got comfortable again. Although, technically what Lilium said wasn't a complete lie as when she got back from 'soul-searching', she had seen Desireé's letter to her former guild mates. She had been doing jobs although one of them was actually with the blue haired woman so, there was no really recovering that aspect. It felt pretty bad to lie to her face but at least she could justify saying it wasn't all a lie. But, Arthur had let out his breath that he wasn't quite sure he was holding until then. The intensity of the situation for Lilium eventually simmered down as the former noblewoman glanced at the guild master's gun and stated, "It's good to hear that your life has been going good as of late. Mine has been... er, eventful to say the least. I'm glad that you have been finding happiness where you can." Lilium would cue that as an end to the conversation as she didn't really want to go into her personal life any further and she opened her book once again, but this time, before she could read who the protagonist would choose between his childhood friend and a stranger she had met along the way, the carriage was halted immediately. Lilium almost fell over as the carriage stopped, but Arthur had moved to break her fall and push her back up. Hopefully, the sudden stop didn't affect Desireé as much. Oh, and Billy.

The former noblewoman would hear a knock on the door of the carriage as it immediately opened. Ah, there was no real time to plan excuses or plans. It was straight to it. Lilium's eyes would glow gold as she completely analyzed the man who had stood at the entrance of their carriage. He looked rather well-kept and seemed like a gentleman in all honesty. However, his pompadour style hair and his thick beard contrasted with his sharp blue eyes. It wasn't really that intimidating in all that honesty as the man seemed rather short. He was probably an inch or two shorter than Lilium and that had severely decreased the threat level she felt from him. Glancing at the man, as he made shifty eyes around the cabin as his eyes got caught on Desireé. Oh god, please don't tell her. The 'man' would let out a screech similar to Billy after her first saw his idol escorting him on this mission as he pulled out a CD case that had Desireé's face on it. Arthur would try to get rid of the piercing sound that the man had just made as it rang through his skull as Lilium deadpanned over at Desireé, wondering if she knew what this meant. The fact that this person had found out where she was could only be because someone had mentioned it on social media. Glaring at Billy, Arthur would crack his knuckles as he snatched the boy's phone and smashed it to pieces. "Oh my gosh! Desireé Blooms! I'm such a huge fan! Can you sign my limited edition?" The captain would place it in her lap as he smelt the air and made a face. He would turn and make a face towards the only non-wizard in the carriage. Grabbing him shirt and holding him up, the pompadour man would basically spit out each word in disgust as he spoke, "I don't approve of non-wizards trying to cross my borders. Desi, I'll be disposing of this garbage immediately." Lilium's eyes would widen as she came to the realization that it wasn't just a fan that had stopped them, it was the captain of the Border Control. Arthur would grab onto his arm as he clutched it with an iron grip, "Now listen here buddy. If you get your signature in one piece, will you be willing to let us go?" The captain would turn his head towards Arthur, glaring all the while as he continued, "As long as I draw breath, this garbage will not so much as cross this border. Especially not with Desi." Lilium would stand as she unsheathed her sword, "Your border? I could claim a lot of things as mine. Trust me. As a member of the Santiais family, you will not lay a hand on this man." Lilium would place her palm on the captain's chest as she filled it up with magical energy, blasting him out of the carriage.

A few meters away from the carriage, the captain would spit towards the ground as he snapped his fingers. Border control officers emerged from the shadows and backed up their commander as he spoke, "I don't give a damn as to who you are, tuts. You aren't going to get across that border!" Feeling the magic that radiated off the man, it would be alarming at how much he had hid his power before this. She was undeniably frustrated with Billy but there was nothing she could do about it in this case. Arthur would stand up from his seat as he dashed out at the top speed in order to stop the approaching onslaught of border security agents. Each of them charged at him with their own staves filled with different lacrimas as they shot varying elements of nature at the former king. With his hand glowing a brilliant gold, he'd hit as many as he could causing a rather large explosion in front of the carriage. In order to shield Desireé and Billy from the blast, the holy mage would rush to the entrance of the carriage and draw out a cross which would solidify and create a shield that blocked all force of magic from outside for a bit. Listening to the chaos ensue outside for a little bit, Lilium would look at Billy and say, "I'd better not hear a single word out of you until we are across the border." Letting out a sigh, Lilium would spread out her white wings but be careful to make sure they didn't completely obscure the vision of the two others in the carriage. Sheathing her sword again, she'd say to Arthur as her eyes glowed gold for a moment, "Keep them distracted until we are ready okay?" She'd receive a quick sound of approval from Arthur as she heard another explosion outside. Unfortunately, the dust hadn't completely cleared just yet. Her eyes would dim back down to hazel as she glanced at Desireé. Lilium would nudge in the captain's direction with her head as she spoke, "You think you'd be willing to act as your own security in this case? I don't think I'm strong enough to beat him without you. No problems with hurting a fan right?" It was mainly meant to be a light-hearted jab at the woman. No ill intents. Just needed something to break all the tension in the moment mainly. Lilium would smile as she unsheathed her sword, ready to charge out into the fray to protect the cause of the problem.

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

In the moment, a small snowflake subtly blew through the cracks of the closed-in carriage and landed among the glove of the Guild Master, shimmering greatly among contact as well as slowly beginning to melt due to the body heat that shot upward from her hands. What Lilium said was to be expected, with her being a member that Desirée never got to meet during her time in Black Rose; that was the case with many of the members, as they lived extremely busy lives. It was much more different than the time she was in Crystal Swan; with her being the Guild Master, she typically met many more faces of those she most likely would not have been able to if she was a regular member or ace without extreme amounts of effort. The idol wished that she was able to meet many more of her past guild mates while she was there, but she did not expect for her plans and dreams to come true so quickly; it was proof that bad things could come from good, just as how good things could come from bad. Nodding in reciprocation as to what the girl had said with a smile, Desirée's fingers began to twirl among her strands of hair that had escaped their containment from where the majority sat on her back and pulled them to where they would all sit straightened. "Well, I wish we could have met while I was in Black Rose! It would have made this job much more fun~" she exclaimed with a joyous demeanor, following in her tapping away at her iLac as Lilium would begin to speak more and eventually end the conversation.

However, all of the watching of her performances and scrolling through social media seemed to halt when the carriage suddenly stopped in its tracks. Due to the quick manner of hitting the "breaks", Desirée's iLac flew out of her hand and slid about a meter across the wooden seats that she sat upon, causing the screen to shut off and the bright lights flashing to turn into that of a solid black color. As for Billy Glasscock, he slammed into the edge of the seats and let out a soft wince of pain, though he was not really hurt besides a bruise due to his levels of fat acting as a cushion for the impact. Looking over at Lilium before quickly moving her eyes to face the entrance of the carriage, a man in a heavily ornate and clean look seemed to enter and hold an intimidating stance in regards to his build; he appeared like an official of sorts, though his rather serious mannerisms switched into those of overwhelming proportions when he let out a large squeal just as how Billy had before they had boarded the carriage. He was a fan, and was looking to possibly get his limited edition version of her repackaged mini-album, Palette, signed; it was the version of the album that had only about a thousand copies produced, therefore it was a sight that she had only really seen in a frame within her room. "Oh, of course! Thank you so much for being such a big supporter of mine, it truly means more than I could ever express~!" the idol explained with gratitude upon taking his album from out of his hands, soon focusing on taking a golden pen from out of her bag to delicately sign and take her time in doing so. While this was being done, he payed no attention to her actions; he was among the other three in the carriage and causing issues, those of which Desirée could hear but not see as she was trying to calmly sign the album so he would leave.

Getting up from where she was sitting and swinging her bag over her shoulder, the Guild Master held his signed limited-edition album in her hands and was about to give it to the boy, but was interrupted by his yelling at Lilium and Arthur about how he would not let them along with the party cross the border. "Here is your album~!" she would say with a kind smile, though her eyes told a different story. They shone a beautiful red-pink color, that of which one could mistake for the eyes of a demon if they were dull instead of bright. After his yelling, the man snatched the album out of the idol's hands and smiled at her with a bit of a condescending manner, but was soon launched out of the carriage by Lilium's magical capabilities in a quick and haste manner; coming from this, Desirée was able to hear yelling from the outside of the carriage followed with the emergence of footsteps around where the man was presumed to be. With frantic explosions and an underlying presence of magical power from the outside of the carriage, Desirée's heart began to race a bit faster than it was before, causing a small bead of sweat to form under her eye and trail down her face until it were to seep into her dark clothing. Standing up and removing her stardust gun from her pocket, the girl held the bottom and propped it up against her shoulder-blade, adjusting her flower among her hair to sit in a still fashion on her ear. Walking over to face Billy propped up on the chair alone, she would smile and lean over towards him, her hair flowing forward in order to speak. "I am going to go take care of what is going on outside, so please don't follow me out or even take a peek out of the carriage, okay~?" she lightly demanded him with a smile, causing him to drool and nod excessively. "Good~!" she exclaimed, following in her turning her body to walk toward the exit and face Lilium.

Upon arriving next to Lilium inside of the carriage, Desirée nodded upon her asking if she was capable of being her own security in this case, as it was something that they needed to do in order to complete the objective. It wasn't great that she was going to have to fight a fan as well as those that served him, but it was something that came with being a celebrity; if someone who respected her did not stand for the good, stood in the way of the objective, and threatened her allies, they would not be met with direct respect in return from the Guild Master. "I will be using my gun in the air for the majority of this fight, so if you need anything look for me in the air~!" she exclaimed in a joyous manner, following in her body being coated in a cloud of blue and green smoke. When the smoke fizzled out the girl was entirely invisible, and she slipped out through the entrance and flew high into the sky. With there being explosions of magical power from the mages and troops that her fan lead, Desirée flew through some of them while trying to ascend upward so that she would be able to have the ability to snipe; she noticed Arthur was outside at this point, and she assumed that Lilium would join them soon in order to attack. With haste, the girl was very high in the sky and held her gun in her hands, suspended in the air and levitating with one eye closed and the other into the scope of her gun that had been produced of light. Lowering her hand to where the gun extended in a longer shape, she felt around and hit the purple button that was in a row of five, causing a small click to be heard and her ability to wipe out soldier after soldier nearly ready. With a second burst of smoke, Desirée appeared to be fully visible if they were to look upwards, but it was not in their brain to do so.

With Kiwi and Strawberry inside of her soul, the Crystal looked at the crowd of soldiers that coated the grounds below her; they were in groups rather close together, meaning that her explosive bullets would make for a very good way to eliminate the threats quickly. In addition to this, her stardust shots were magical enough that the large blasts would not injure those she saw as allies, meaning that Lilium and Arthur would be safe from harm if they were to be struck with the gold. It would feel like a mere blast of warm air if they were caught in the blasts, and unlike those that were attacking, they would be able to see through the smoke it produced. With her eyes now shining a beautiful golden color, her fingers met the trigger and pulled it backwards, causing a circular bullet which was golden in color with purple accents in the form of lines to fly out and coarse through the air extremely quickly. Before long, the bullet that was aimed to strike the soldiers that were closer to the carriage than farther landed in the back of one of the higher-raked soldiers, causing a large explosion of gold to blast the soldiers surrounding him and make them falter slightly. With another bullet flying directly behind it, it caused the majority of those in that area to fall over and go into a state of unconsciousness; they were not dead, but would most likely be out of commission for the rest of the fight. After these shots, she lowered the gun from the level of her eyes and proceeded to utilize her slayer senses to see the lower parts more clearly in case she was sighted yet. However, all looked good in her eyes; she would wait to see what Lilium would do after she exited the carriage, and would fire more shots toward the outer parts once she did what she was to do. While she waited, she began to speak through her mind with Kiwi and Strawberry to know what was going on while they were inside of her soul, them also waiting for the battle to subside.

Lilium smirked when she glanced at Desirée become enveloped in a cloud of blue and green smoke. Based on how it was appearing to be, it was most likely a camouflage spell and it could provide useful as the idol was the more recognizable of the two. Hiding her presence at a time like this could prove extremely useful because there would be aerial support when her and Arthur would be providing diversions on the ground. When she felt Desirée's presence melt away from the carriage, she placed a barrier on the entrance, preventing entry or any debris to get inside of the carriage while Billy was inside. He was annoying but she still had a duty to protect him and she wouldn't let him being annoying get to her personally. He just needs to tone down his fan boy levels down when he is around the guild master of Crystal Swan. Stepping out of the carriage, the holy mage's gaze would shoot upwards as she heard a whistling noise, indicating a spell being flung her way. Drawing a cross, the shield would absorb most of the magic as it reflected off rays of golden light. It wasn't strong enough to completely shatter it so it was still going to come in handy if she fails to dodge anymore attacks. Arthur glanced at Lilium as she walked over to end up beside him. Smiling, the holy mage would hold his hand and when she pulled her hand away, a orb of golden light would remain in it's place. This orb of light would enable Arthur to equip anything that he'd like within Arcadia. He had no restrictions on what he could wield and was essentially the same level of expertise, if not past Lilium's skill level when it came to armed combat so it would be odd for him not to get a weapon from her. Lilium unsheathed a spiritual version of Solais and held the sword tight within her grasp as she looked for a location to throw it.

Ah, however, it appeared that she need to make the decision fairly quickly. The holy mage would toss it towards the group of enemies, with the captain being her target. One of the sergeants stood in the way of the sword, wincing in pain when it impaled him. He was panicking somewhat as a result because the sword simply remained within the spot that she threw it in. The whistling sound of magic being flung through the air resumed once again, as Lilium was bathed with a light blue light before completely fading, narrowly dodging the attack of fire. She'd rematerialize in front of the sergeant that she just attacked as she smiled at him, while summoning an orb of magic within her hand. Slamming her palm into the man's chest, it would emit a burst of holy light as he was blown back into some of his allies. Lilium stamped her heel on the ground as a portal to Arcadia opened beneath her, within this moment, she snapped her fingers, causing a halo to appear above her. She felt her strength being restored and empowered to be stronger than she normally was. Placing her right pointer and middle fingers on her temple while placing her hand on her heart, the holy mage would receive more enchantments to her strength as she let out a sigh. It was somewhat of a rush to apply all those buffs to her strength but it was always worth doing it in the end. The whistling sound approached once again but this time, Lilium summoned a shield on her forearm and spun to block it. The area around her was coated with flames but she brushed it off as she deflected the attack just the way she was hoping to. Throwing the shield in the direction of the captain, she'd summon a golden sword in her hand, the sword of Excalibur. Arthur's eyes widened somewhat as he didn't know until now that the holy mage was now capable of summoning the holy artifact.

Excalibur was an extremely powerful attack however it required time to charge up. The holy mage had discovered a way to circumvent this while she was training with her mana control. By leaving a lingering will that was strong enough, it was able to complete the spell without her physical body being there. The will of the Mana was enough to completely power the spell and fire it when she needed. Lilium's eyes would glow crimson as she split away from the holy sword, leaving a crimson copy of herself holding the relic. Smiling, the holy mage would glance at the captain who ordered his men to fire more attacks and be on alert for Desirée. The sniper was probably going to have trouble landing her shots as the targets were constantly moving due to wanting to readjust themselves in order to easily hit Lilium and Arthur. She should try to confine them to a single area at the very best but if not, she could still tire them out enough and let the idol be able to pick them off through easy shots. Taking in a deep breath, Mana around Lilium's head would become visible in strands of crimson light as they traveled down her body to her heels where they would become small crimson wings. Spinning in a somewhat flourishing manner, the holy mage would face the captain as she held a golden tome within her hands. She'd be hit with a fireball as she felt her outer barrier shatter. Now, she only had her passive one and she didn't want to risk fighting with it while it was down. Running towards the captain, he'd grow his hand to a larger size as she raised her hand up as it flickered with golden light. Trees and other plant life would sprout out of no where as their roots ensnared his legs, and prevented him from moving. However, Lilium didn't consider his magic type as he simply grew his body to larger proportions in order to break the roots. He'd follow up by punching her as she winced in pain, but Arthur was quick to protect her as he summoned a sword from the golden orb of light and slashed the wrist of the now giant captain. He winced backwards as Lilium created a platform to stand on.

This wasn't the best situation but she could probably make it work. The captain was the only real threat as the other mages would most likely get picked off after Excalibur fired. The problem was how the captain would take it, he'd probably continue growing and simply attempt to crush everyone in the area, being her and the carriage. Her shield on the carriage wasn't strong enough to stop it from being crushed so they needed to defeat the captain right after Excalibur. Since he was now increased in size, that meant that he'd be an easier target for Desirée, so she decided to tell her, Okay, I can take care of the mages on the ground and from what I've seen, your shots have been extremely on point as well as potent since they have been taking care of the mages that I've missed. But, we need to take down this captain as soon as possible, so when I give the signal, I need you to throw everything you got at him. Okay? The holy mage didn't have time to wait for a response though in all honesty as she saw the lingering will lifting the sword up to the sky, a golden flash of light emitting from the radiant sword. The blade would be charged with holy energy, making it nearly the same height as the Titanic captain. Sighing, the holy mage would create portals to Arcadia behind her, angled downwards but still directed towards the captain. The weapons of Arcadia would begin to peek out of the portals and the minute the sword blast was aimed in front of the lingering will, the holy mage began firing out the weapons through the portals. Because the captain was now such a large target, he was hit with multiple of the weapons, but the holy mage needed to make sure that he was in a range that the guild master could take him out.

Unsheathing the physical version of Solais, she'd coat with crimson flames as she jumped to avoid a punch that the captain threw at her. His actions got much slower as a result of the fire that he endured and the holy mage landed on his arm. Running up his arm, he tried to squash her using his other hand, but the holy mage summoned a lance that she stabbed into his skin and used it to propel herself to his head. Drawing out more mana, the holy mage would slash his head as it released an explosion of Mana, consuming his head within the crimson flames.

The former noblewoman would reappear in a golden flash next to the carriage as Arthur looked at the giant. He was prepared to evacuate as well, so if he attempted anything, Arthur could save Billy at the very least. The captain seemed to brace himself out of the shock of the damage that the holy mage just did but he seemed weary. He was almost good to go down. But, Lilium nearly lost her footing when he jumped. The earth shook as Lilium almost fell onto Arthur but he grabbed her arms to help her remained balanced. The captain had taken a body slam position as the shadow he cast became more and more apparent the closer that he got to the ground. He shouldn't have too much durability left but since he was falling, getting a critical shot might be harder. The holy mage looked towards the sky as she searched for the bluenette's presence before locking on and telling her, I need you to take him down now! I can't stop him from destroying the carriage if he lands! The holy mage would prepare to teleport the carriage out but with the amount of time she had, she wasn't sure if she could move it very far. The captain had increased his size again so he covered an even larger area. If she had more time, she could teleport it farther but this was too last minute. She really needed her former guild mate to land that shot and thus cancel out his magic so that he simply fell to the ground. It'd be a lot easier to deal with him normal sized as opposed to worrying about dying by being crushed.

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

With the way she was situated in the clouds, the idol was capable of seeing the extremely vast fields of white that stretched as far as the eye could see, that of which lead to show that they were in a rather flat terrain compared to the hills that very discreetly and smoothly stretched up and down in the distance. As the white looked disrupted aside from the trees that stretched upward from the sides of the trails that lead across the land, it hinted that the individuals that they were fighting (seen as a border patrol of sorts) did not have reinforcements coming from the back-lines. The snow falling from the sky did not fall harshly in the slightest, it actually felt nice on the skin; while she was not wearing much to cover her body, aside from a pastel-indigo cardigan with matching tights and boots (along with things under this cardigan, such as a long-sleeved turtleneck of white color and her typical under-garments), feeling small snow particles land on her warm face and hands as she held and shot her sniper rifle made her feel relaxed. It was due to the fact that her body was beginning to feel much warmer with the activity of her stardust gun and her magical power exerting outward with each moment she was in flight; she was not feeling worn out in the slightest, however. Raising her gun along with it's sights to line up with her left eye, Desirée would feel upon the bottom of the gun to make sure that the purple button was still pressed inward, which was causing the gun to be in it's "praemium" mode, and would place her other hand upon the area around the trigger to prepare to fire more bullets.

With her right eye closed, her vision was essentially locked off from half of her face and causing her entire perspective to be shifted into the fluctuating scope, that of which glowed faintly and was a projection from the upper part of the gun. It was powered by magical technology, therefore if one were to touch the scope and it's area which appeared to be a golden color, their finger would pass directly through it as if they were touching a ghost. Biting her lip, her finger would pull the trigger backwards and fire another shot out of the sniper barrel, causing her to be pushed backward in the air a few centimeters due to the recoil but still float in place as if she were a hovering balloon; the shot was fired directly at a close-together group of forces that were slowly advancing toward the carriage that billy was encased in. By this time, Lilium was definitely out of the carriage and was fighting various individuals, and it appeared that she was targeting the captain that had his merchandise signed by the idol; he appeared to definitely be the leader of these individuals, and was an obvious threat to the entourage. As the singular bullet zipped through the air extremely quietly and gracefully, it landed in the center of the middle-man's shoulder within the crowd, causing a large explosion of stardust to burst around their bodies and produce a coughing sound from their vicinity. When the opaque and glistening cloud of gold dissipated into the air, all of the patrol agents appeared to be lying on the ground and their hair shimmering with glitter stuck inside of it, which was residue of the explosives that were tied within the bullets of the purple mode.

In the style of a very graceful and powerful sniper, the Guild Master would continue to float in the air and move around slightly while she aimed the rest of her explosive shots, dodging attacks from the magi that attempted to fire at her in the air. It was very difficult to pin down the sniper, especially while she was focused on aiming shots and moving her body around through the air in the speed of a quick sprint, as her bullets would take care of the attackers before they would be able to look at her for too long. With the two mages working together to wipe out the border patrols and the agent that was commanding them, they were getting this over with fairly quickly, especially since the agents that Desirée was missing with her shots would be taken care of by Lilium and vice-versa. Moving her gun's perspective to the right and toward the carriage, her singular open eye widened at the sight that was taking up most of her zoomed-in perspective; the captain appeared to be much larger than he was beforehand, which made him about the size (and a slightly-changed appearance) of a titan. Slight goosebumps began to form on the sides of the idol's arms and open areas that were not covered by clothing; his magical power was radiating off of him, and the increase could even be felt as high as she was in the skies. Positioning her sniper rifle to fire a few shots toward his shoulder-blades, however, they quickly flew downward and past his location, as a voice that began to speak inside of her mind caused her to flinch as it was not either of her bio-luminescent organisms. The voice was Lilium, and she was giving orders to her to watch for a signal to go all-in on the captain; the rest of the patrol appeared to be dwindling down due to the many attacks they suffered from the two girls and Arthur, as there was only a few more of them left staggering and appearing to prepare an attack.

Appearing to do a back-flip in the air, Desirée began to slowly fall downward as if she were a feather, pushing the purple button on the bottom of the gun upward into it's original state to put the gun in it's true form. Once landing on the ground, the idol held the gun as if it were a gun that could fire bullets outward quickly and pressed a button right next to the purple, that of which produced a clicking sound and caused the fluctuating scope to shimmer away into the surrounding air. The gun was now in it's "verberare" mode, therefore it would act as if it were a mobile machine gun and fire out extreme amounts of bullets quickly; running around the battlefield and pulling the gun's trigger backwards once she was facing individual patrols, causing the bullets to rain outward and strike their bodies quickly. However, unlike regular guns and bullets, these stardust bullets would pop upon coming in contact with their bodies and deal damage comparative to regular guns, while also not lodging the bullets into their skin and putting them into a knocked-out state instead of death. However, one patrol ran up behind the idol as she ran and punched her in the back with a flaming fist, causing her to fall toward the ground and roll in the snow and dust that coated the ground; with this, a cloud of dust and snow formed around where the idol hit the ground and caused her to appear as veiled, soon attempting to get up yet getting kicked to the ground once again. With a few loud winces of pain she finally rose to stand and struck the patrol sargent with the back of her gun, directly before flipping the gun into a state of her fingers on the trigger and causing an extreme amount of bullets to strike his body and eventually knock him out.

Running out of the cloud of snow and dust, the idol would hear Lilium inside of her mind stating that the idol would need to take him out now, in which she was already running toward him to do. Aside from the captain, all of the rest of his patrol appeared to be entirely wiped out and taken care of; lying in the snow were extreme amounts of knocked out individuals, covered in their red hoods and various equipment in their hands and around their bodies. He appeared even larger than before; he was still quite a ways away from the idol, and though she was unable to see Lilium nor Arthur through him (as she presumed they were on the other side of his body), she still could sense their magical power. Holding her glowing gun in her hands and moving her hand to grace the bottom of the gun where the buttons were located, she pressed the button that was yellow in color, that of which produced a large clicking noise and sent the other button activated, that was a purple in color, back into a state of de-activation. Her gun was held steady with one hand on the trigger and the other holding the base of the gun (while the gun was tucked slightly inside of the split between her tourso and arm for more support, as this attack would have a great deal of recoil), as she was ready to release a single bullet directly toward where his heart would be located in order to potentially have him revert to his originally form and collapse on the ground; with the pulling back of the trigger, and the gun being slanted upward to strike him in his back, the bullet would begin to quickly fly toward him and twinkle as it did.

As the bullet flew out of her gun, the recoil caused the idol to blast backward a few feet, nearly knocking her over if she were not able to catch herself in the thick snow with her flat-footed boots. The bullet was flying at a rapid rate when suddenly it burst open and formed into a large beam of light and stardust, soon flying directly through the central area of his chest and continuing to fly through in a diagonal manner even when it passed through the other side of his body and into the sky above. With a groaning sound the titan appeared to lose his footing, as if he were going to fall directly onto the carriage, but in a flash of light he shrunk downward from his giant size into his normal size, soon falling onto the ground into the snow head-first. His clothing on the ground appeared to be slightly ripped and tattered, and his merchandise lay right beside him in the snow fully protected and non-cracked, her signature twinkling with the sun shining overhead as it reigned down from the clouds. Walking across the snowy area toward the carriage, which was definitely protected and did not appear to be that harmed aside from a few scratches here and there, the Guild Master finally was able to see Lilium and Arthur closer to the carriage now that the captain was not the most lively and completely out of his magical power. "Are you guys alright? I can heal you both if it is what you need!" the idol stated with a smile once she stood near the two, multitasking as she also opened her small messenger bag and slipping her gun inside (it would not appear as though it was possible in reality, as the gun was greatly longer and larger than the bag, but it would definitely work).

As she stood near the mages and fastened the bands that held her pony-tails together, Billy messily sprawled out of the carriage with his mouth and eyes in a state of awe due to what the girl of pastel-blue hair had just done. "WooOOoAHHHHHhH! That was SOOO COOL! The way you used your gun in that fight and had it blast through his chest was SOOOO BADASS!" the boy of pink hair squealed, following in the stuffing his face with a large twinkie that looked to be crushed from sitting on it within his pocket. With her cheeks turning a slight rosy color, as they did with most compliments despite who they were from, the idol ran her fingers through her hair as her two pets floated out of her body and into the air around her two shoulders. "Well, thank you! It definitely wasn't the easiest, but I think that we all did great in that fight." her eyes shone a beautiful blue-green color as she spoke, though they quickly illuminated much greater with hints of gold on the inside. "Oh, an idea~! Perhaps we could fly to Crystal Town from here so we don't have to run into any more issues along the way! I can call someone back at the Guild Hall to get Pitaya to come here and fly Billy and his items over, and potentially the both of you if you do not have a way to fly." the idol exclaimed before reaching into her yellow purse and pulling out her rose gold iLac, quickly typing away upon her messenger in order to contact the barista to ask Pitaya to teleport directly to her location. After sending her location, as well as the message, a small twinkle sound was heard on the iLac to state that the message was sent.

After a few minutes, what appeared to be a glowing white portal appeared a bit of a ways away from the group, that of which was floating in the air directly above where a few knocked-out patrol agents in the snow; however, one appeared to be slowly trying to pick itself up, though immediately was knocked back out once a fluffy and small mire wolf hopped through the portal and bounced off of his head. Quickly running up toward the group and shaking some of the snow off of her head, she quickly grew to a size comparable to a large horse, that of which would be able to definitely fit Billy and all of his belongings on her back. "I am able to bring you along with your items to the place that you wish to go. My name is Pitaya, it is very nice to meet each and every one of you." the mire wolf spoke with a high-pitched yet calm and gentle voice, her ears twitching each time a particle of snow fell upon them. If Lilium and Arthur would accept this offer, than the idol would assist them in loading and securing all of the boy's belongings onto the back of the mire wolf along with creating a clear area on her back for him to sit upon, soon following in ascending into the air directly toward Crystal Town on the shortest and most efficient route possible. If they would not, she would most likely gather herself and board the carriage once again, preparing for a decently short ride to the town of Crystals and the act of assisting Billy in getting all of his items to that town with him, absolutely safe and sound.

Stabbing her sword into the ground, the holy mage would create a banner of holy light as she held it up to the sky. Holding the banner high would cause it to emit bursts of golden holy light. She was preparing for the worst if anything failed with the Crystal Swan guildmaster's snipe ended up failing. Arthur looked at Lilium and placed his hand a top of hers, while he sighed to himself. "You don't need to do that. She isn't going to miss." The holy mage was ready to interject as she wasn't happy with the complete confidence that her Heroic Spirit seemed to hold within the Aurora Demon Slayer. But, this confidence proved to work out in the end for Arthur as the snipe made contact with the giant man, who seemed to be very harmed from the impact. Looking at where he was landing, the holy mage saw a twinkle as the man plummeted to the earth. Wincing once he made contact, the holy mage's eyes narrowed in a little bit of annoyance as she saw the merchandise that the idol last signed was shimmering within the sunlight as it poured onto the reflective casing. Shielding her eyes, the holy mage would turn to the idol as she walked up to the pair with genuine concern, asking if they needed a heal in the mean time while she put her sniper in her alarmingly small bag. Although, the pocket dimension in a bag in surprisingly common nowadays. Looking at Arthur, who seemed to have minimal injuries, the holy mage would wave a hand in front of her face. "Ah, it's fine! We can manage with this." Arthur nodded wordlessly as his head turned towards the carriage, preemptively moving his hands to cover his ears.

And what a great decision that was. The holy mage was somewhat startled as the sound emitted from Billy did not sound human at this point. Lilium looked at him with a glance of disgust while Arthur silently removed his hands from his ears. Glancing at Lilium, he would nudge her in the side slightly while telling her, Wipe that look off of your face. It's rude. The holy mage put a neutral expression on her face before looking at the idol as she without missing a beat, appreciated the kind words that Billy spoke. They were his way of being nice but man, the guild master sure had a high tolerance in enduring what he was saying. If it were up to the holy mage, she would have been so sick of talking to him the minute he made his first squealing noise. The holy mage looked at Desirée while listening to her speak as to what she could do to alleviate the broken carriage issue. The holy mage smiled while Arthur wordlessly teleported to Arcadia. The holy mage would spread out her wings as she looked to the lavender haired woman. "I appreciate the offer but I can get there rather quickly. Flying away as she saw the glowing white portal manifest, the holy mage would fly in the direction of Crystal Town.

Arthur would manifest next to her as she flew. "You did good out there. Just gotta practice summoning certain weapons." The holy mage smiled as she nudged him in the side before propelling forward with a burst of speed. "Well you are rather good at getting their attention off of me. We make a pretty good team, don't we?" The Heroic Spirit chuckled as they both landed in the vacant house of Billy. The holy mage would see the white portal be summoned again as she flicked her wrist, her pointer finger glowing a golden colour while a portal was opened behind her. All of Billy's things were placed in an organized fashion behind her and with a snap of her fingers, it was now teleported into his new home. Sighing to herself, the holy mage would wave wordlessly as she teleported into Arcadia, hoping for a bit of rest before the next job. Arthur would smile as he followed his Master suit into the realm of Arcadia.
