Personality: Knives is a gentle soul, often serene and happy go lucky. He tends to walk through life with a smile and is happy to be apart of life. Normal Knives is a serene and polite person using words like Sir and Ma'am to people older than him. He enjoys the company of his guild mates but also likes to hang out with the local kids in the city. Knives tends to be a person who goes out of his way to help others and get along with everyone he can. He believes in mercy and diplomacy over wild violence and feels everyone should be offered the chance to change.

Knives rarely aims for the kill of his enemies, mainly focusing on wounding them just enough for the fight to be over. He doesn't enjoy causing pain to others but nor will he back down from evil men. He sees what he does as a necessary evil and is willing to be the justice that others seek. Though skilled already he insists on improving himself, learning more about the world and his place in it. He respects his guild master and loves the guild that took him in and gave him a place even though he hadn't been there long.

Knives houses a darkness inside his heart, a alternate Knives that he is both ashamed and proud of. This other side is the one who will do whatever is necessary to protect everyone he cares for and his place in the world. The person his mother honed into being a slayer of men and the side of him he has to constantly keep a short leash on. Normally in battle he tends to hold back, to keep from hurting those around him. However when pissed off, pushed past his patient limits, or faced with real evil, he unleashes the Slayer within, for to lose is to allow those he cares for to fall. Though going into his Slayer form is to release his humanity, to become a cold and ruthless killer.

Knives enjoys sweets especially ice cream and chocolate milk. While powerful and strong he is still a kid and enjoys kid things. He is fascinated by seeing new things and exploring new areas. Knives has a soft spot for dogs and doesn't like when people are mean to them, he uses some of his money he gets from quests to run a shelter for homeless dogs which he calls the "Fluff Parade". While he doesn't hate cats he has a mistrust of them as his mother was a cat person and could command them, he tends to feel uncomfortable in the eyes of cats. He is however fascinated by Exceeds as he has never seen one in person but has heard of them before. He loves parades and fireworks but hates clowns, he has a fear of large spiders and hates quest missions involving them. Knives tends to get flustered around pretty girls around his age, he has a quick heart and tends to get attached to people which can make him gullible. However once he discovers he was being played or used his wrath on said person is legendary.

More than anything, Knives wants people in his life who truly care for him and not just his power. He is lonely even when he puts on a brave or uncaring face. Never knowing the true love of a mother or a father he aches for something he does not know the name of, this can cause him to try and impress those he admires in an effort to gain their attention and praise.

• Traveling: Knives enjoys traveling around and seeing new places, making new friends, or just visiting places he hasn't been in awhile. He loves the road be it rain, sun, snow, or gale force winds. Not much seems to both Knives while traveling.
  
• Swordplay: His passion above all else is the sword, he trains continuously with it, mainly in his two styles of Iaijutsu and Itto-Ryu. He dreams of becoming not just one of the worlds powerful mages, but the greatest swordsman in all of Fiore.
  

Dislikes:

• Bad guys: Obvious one yeah, Knives dislikes anyone who break the law for their own amusement. He never really saw the point in people being criminals in such a world they lived in but bad eggs in every basket I guess. He tends to put these people down quickly and efficiently with both tongue and blade.
  
• Clowns: Knives has had a dislike of clowns since he was three and got scared by them at a circus. Since than he has gone out of his way to avoid them out of annoyance rather than fear. He would gladly knockout a clown as easy as a bank robber.
  
• Prisons: Having grown up with a warden for a father he used to be punished by being locked in a cell. Knives has a severe dislike of prisons or being near them. Especially the one his father runs far away. His dislike for prisons is connected to the severe hatred he holds for both of his lunatic parents.
  

Motivations:

• Freedom: Destiney, fate, dreams, these unstoppable ideals are held deep in the heart of Knives, as long as he seeks freedom in this life, these will not vanish from him. He seeks Freedom above all else, to throw off the chains of his past, to look forward, and gain the freedom he always desired, free of guilt, pain, and memories.
  
• Strength: Knives desires strength above all things, he wants to be strong enough to never have to rely on others, to push himself to a place where others turn to him for help and he has the strength to give it to them. To stand when others run, to get up when he has hit his limits, to stand against evil even if he can't win, because taking on an enemy right now is what matters the most.
  
• Family: Knives, coming from a terrible home life seeks what anyone his age would. A family, people who truly care for him, people who are happy to see him when he arrives back from wherever he was and who worry about him when he is gone. He hungers a ache deep inside for love, affection, and the attention of a mother and father.
  

Fears:

• Being Alone: Knives greatest fear is solitude, being left out in the darkness with no one to turn to. Forgotten, cast aside, forced to return to the old Knives and survive. He fears losing everything and being alone once more.
  
• Giant Spiders: This fear came after running from home he stayed the night in a cave that just happened to house large spiders. Waking up hanging from your feet in sticky web can do that. After cutting himself out, he had to kill several of the eight legged beasts to escape. He has had a haunting fear of waking up surrounded by large spiders ever since.
  
• His parents: Knives fears the arrival of his dreadful parents the Warden and the Cop. Using the term parent very loosely, the two were as evil and vile as the people they locked up. The Crimson Sheriff was his mother, a horrible woman who cut her victims down with murderous glee in the name of justice. And Iron Box the Warden, a man known for his cruelty and brutality to the jailers locked inside his prison. Knives was their weapon, their tool, he fears them finding him again because he has sworn that if they did only one would walk away.
