Margarite, better known as Mana by her friends, was born into high society. Her attitude often reflects this, as she considers it best to keep reserved in all situations. She also has a bad habbit of relying on others, unconsciously not putting her best foot forward in a number of different situations. This is a result of having staff wait on her every desire from a young age.
She does have a number of positive aspects of her personality thanks to growing up in this manner. Mana has took on a very meticulous nature, and attempts to maintain a balance in all things she does. She also has a rampant desire to learn all she can. Due to this, she has a love for books, and schools. Mana herself has never attended an actual school, but her servants have all provided herself with ample information that one would find in a standard school. Having been so blessed from an early age, Mana has had difficulty relating with the general populous. There are a number of instances in which case they have looked down upon her, telling Mana that she had never worked for anything in life or that she was spoiled. These were, at the time, very true. She even had been selected as one of the God Luna's vessels during one of her neighborhoods festivals, without putting for any effort to curry her favor.
While the typical person may ignore these criticisms Mana took them to her heart. Her insecurities were laid bare, and she choose to abandon her riches. Looking forward in life to reclaim her entire fortune without making use of her past influences, blazing a new path all on her own. The only thing to accompany her, has been her spirit guardian Afkareru and Light of Luna herself. This has helped Mana begin to carve an independent image, but her old reliant habits still mostly remain present. The fact she uses so much of Luna's strength to fight in the first place plays a large role in this. In order to counteract this, she attempts to develop many spells that require the use of her own strength, and has even engaged in learning how to make use swords in combat.
Mana also has a strange fondness for kittens of all variety. From the proud lion to the...relatively tame house-cat. This is due to her understanding the cats are independent, an attribute which Mana wishes to embody. As a result, Mana keeps one cat in her home at all times. This aspect of her personality causes her to see many connections where none may actually exist. Mana is the type of person who would engage in a conspiracy theory if she thought it was interesting enough. Similarly, if she has the slightest hint that one of her friends possesses hidden feelings for her, she will interact with them as if they were real feelings.
Mana is also an avid fan of studying various forms of mythology, namely Sea Gods.
