This wasn't where Delta wanted to be, she would've preferred to be in the electronics store that she was headed towards, but she got pulled away by some people. Nurses and doctors that needed volunteers to help out, since they were extremely short staffed. Of course, the scientist said no, she had much better things to do then work for a few hours and not get payed. Only getting a 'thanks from the Magic Counsel for your selfless efforts' and what not. Something she really didn't see herself needing, she wasn't trying to get noticed or anything, she just wanted to get her memories back and get revenge. She didn't need good guy recognition, part of the reason is because she isn't really going to be doing any good deeds unless useful for her. And this was not, but she barely had a choice.
They wouldn't shut there mouths, and would not stop bugging her about helping people. So to get them to do so, she said she'd help for a couple of hours, just to get them off her back. They thanked her a needless amount of time as they headed over to the small clinic building that housed a ton of people ridding themselves of their blood for some stupid reason. To help people, she didn't see how helping people could be useful. Half the time when she did so she just got crap afterwards, or she put in a lot of effort for little payment in return. Because good guys don't need payment, just the joy that people have from their good deeds. Which is just plain stupid. Everybody needed money, or some kind of equal compensation, cause why would it be worth it otherwise? Though maybe that is just Delta's thoughts speaking, she didn't see how helping people would benefit her. She wasn't ever going to be one of the Rising Stars or Wizard Saints, there was really no point in having such position.
But here she was, getting pushed into the building, being told a multitude of things that she can do to help out. Which she didn't get to say anything in response too, due to the people running off to go and do their selfless acts. The teenage scientist groaned, walking over to the area were the few volunteers were. In the corner was a TV that was broken, so of course that is what she went to, grabbing a serving tray and a chair on the way. She opened it up with some tools she held on her person, taking the parts out of it and fixing it up. The Nov also grabbed some other things, people's phones, ovens, a bicycle or two that was outside, anything of the sort. And she created a robot, which could serve food and drinks. It amuse the people too with some lame humor she put into it's code.
So the entire time she was sitting in the corner, her flat chest up against the back of a chair. Her hands controlled the robot that served people, her brown eyes lazily watched to crowd. A little boy walked up to her and tugged at her sleeve. Turning her gaze over she bluntly asked in a harsh tone "What do you want?" how he reacted some might've considered cute, stumbling backwards in fear, but then proceeding to walk back over and hold out his little toy robot. "You want me to fix your shit robot toy?" she asked rather vulgarly, he just stared and held it out. She groaned and grabbed it, she opened it up and adjusted some things. Closing it she fixed the mobility of it and then lastly attached a laser pointer to it that she had in her back pocket.
"There you go you little cunt" she said, dropping the robot back into his arms, which he barely managed to catch. He giggled, moving it around, he turned the laser pointer on and off, shining it across the walls. "Thank you mister" he said before running off back to what she assumed to be his mother. This is where she assumed people's hearts would be warmed, realizing this is what they helped people for. She just saw it as meaningless work, something she just wasted two hours of her day on. Delta walked up to and employee and dropped her robot's controller into their hands. "Have fun fuckers" and then she proceeded to walk out of the building with her hands in her pockets.
